     'trou-trouble maker' Hanbyul is fierce and intimidating. She isn't afraid to speak her mind and could care less about what other people think of her. Hanbyul is straightforward and blunt with her opinions. She will always say whatever comes to her mind. Her words are sharp and strong. Hanbyul has a very calm and cool demeanor. Even though she is calm on the outside, she can still explode with anger if you mess with her. Controlling her anger takes a lot of patience. Hanbyul can be a bit stubborn at times. Hanbyul nags a lot too and always feels the need to curse when something doesn't go her way. She has a dry sense of humor and takes everything seriously. Play a bad joke on her, then you better run for your life. She speaks 3 languages fluently: Sarcasm, Smart-, & Profanity. You better watch your back if you get on her bad side. Don't be fooled and never underestimate her just because of her appearance. Hanbyul is sly and cunning and knows her way around things and will always find a way to get what she wants.      'bad girl, good girl' Hanbyul may seem rude and cold at first, but once you get to know her, she will open up to you. Hanbyul only acts that way to isolate herself because she has trust issues. Hanbyul also drinks a lot because she has a high tolerance with alcohol. She smokes too but not that often. Sometimes she performs in a club called NB in Hongdae to songs by Epik High and Drunken Tiger. Men flock over Hanbyul and she uses them to get one or two free drinks. Clubbing is the only way for Hanbyul to escape reality and just get lost into the music.

     'warrior' Despite being rude at times, Hanbyul is very mature and focused when it comes to her profession. She holds a strong determination to succeed. Letting people down is not what Hanbyul wants. Hanbyul expects a lot from herself and believes in her abilities to become better at what she does.  She is strong-willed and determined to do her best. • Background: 

     'los angeles, california'  Hanbyul was born in Busan, South Korea. Hanbyul's parents are both musicians. Her father was a pianist (27) and her mother was a violinist (25). Hanbyul was surrounded by music. Her parents taught her how to play the piano and violin at an early age. After living in Busan for 6 years her family moved to Los Angeles, California where she learned how to speak English and French fluently.  In LA, Hanbyul's father got a doctor's degree (38) while her mother became a coffee shop owner (36). Hanbyul comes from a well-off and loving family. While living in LA, Hanbyul started to develop a bad attitude due to her influencial peers. Because of that, her parents decided that it would be better to move back to South Korea.

     'seoul, south korea' At the age of 16, Hanbyul and her family decided to move back to South Korea in Seoul. Her mother (46) opened up her coffee shop there and her father (48) got a job in Seoul Hospital. Hanbyul had a natural talent for rapping and dancing although her father did not condone of it. He wanted her to follow their footsteps as classical musicians. But he saw how passionate she was, like how she was passionate when playing the piano and violin, so he eventually gave in. Hanbyul began doing underground performances in clubs in Hongdae when she was 19. Although she was young to be doing underground rap and dance battles, people grew to like her. They admired her spirit and hard work. She was discovered during her performances in Hongdae by a JYP representative.

     'bestfriend' Hanbyul met him during their trainee days. She was at a coffee shop near JYP and Sunggyu came in to order coffee. He accidentally bumped into to her causing Hanbyul to spill her hot coffee all over the floor. Sunggyu then offered to pay for her new coffee. After that incident they began to meet often at the coffee shop when they weren’t busy training. He is Hanbyul's partner in crime, the peanut butter to her jelly, the sunshine to her rain. Sunggyu is Hanbyul's bestfriend. He is overprotective of Hanbyul and treats her like his sister. He cares a lot for her and always has her back. He is always there for Hanbyul no matter what and will always try to make her smile whenever she feels as if it is her against the world. He is caring, considerate, sweet and kind. He will always offer a shoulder to cry on when she is feeling down. He is someone who brightens her day.
