Alex has this mind set where people comes to him, and not the other way around. He's the nice guy but with a distant aura, meaning he'll go around and help people but that's as far as you'll get with him. He won't try to make friends with you or get to know him. If you want to be friends with him then you have to go after him and try, if you want to be the few people who are close to him, then it's going to take your whole being in order to do so. Alex believes that if you work hard and you study, you'll go far in life. There are no shortcuts or curves to get to where you want. And just like that, you have to earn his trust, loyalty, respect and friendship.

People outside of his circle admire him for his "perfectness" and his charisma. But his friends think that he's a cocky and self-confident guy. To people outside of his circle, he puts on this face where he's the nice and caring guy who will help people.
