Peppermint Fairy (poem)
dewdrops like diamonds
fall on the leaves
as peppermint flowers
soak up the breeze
warm waves of sunshine
wash over the scene
the lady awakens
and begins to gleam
she sits on the petals
the diamonds fall
and as they shatter
illuminate all
through fragments of sunshine
the petals are crowned
if one could behold
the sight, scent, and sound
the wondrous beauty
so fresh and bright
the sweet lady brings
in the morning light
one would e'er linger
amidst peppermint trees
with flowers and dewdrops
and vanilla breeze
(note: this is what comes out of me when I listen to Owl City... ^^;)
