[ Background ] wip

- Born in Melbourne, Australia.

- Started dancing when she was young.

- Got into KPOP with her older sister, Willow in 2007.

- Started up a cover group with willow and her friends in 2009 called Fantasy.

- It took a while of building but slowly Fantasy became well known among the KPOP cover community and was quickly recognised as one of the best in Melbourne.

- While in high school, the Wen family accepted a exchange student, Saerom.

- Saerom and Sage became the best of friends and even started calling themselves sisters.

- After Saerom left Australia the two kept in contact and would always call eachother.

- In 2013, Willow was scouted and Joined DAL Media.

- After Willow moved to Seoul, the dance crew fell into Sage's hands.

- Her love of dance only started to grow more and more and she started to take more dance classes throughout thw week on top of her dance practices with her group.

- Sage visited Willow in Seoul a couple of times and absolutly loved it. She even took dance classes at the studio owned by Willow's group mate, Youngho's family.

- When she was eighteen, sage started to think about possibly moving to Seoul after graduating and after talking to Willow and Saerom she decided she would.

- When she moved to Seoul, she was offered a job at Young Studios to which she quickly accepted and began studying dance at university.

- As she had no friends besides Saerom and Willow, she was quickly introduced to the other people in Willow's trainee group and started to become close to them.

- By the time 2022 rolled around, sage had already been living in Seoul for seven years and was living her dream by dancing every day but that all changed when Willow asked her to join the new group she was producing. Willow and Hyojin thought that the group needed someone else to make it feel complete, and Sage was someone Hyojin had had her eye on for a while. At first sage was quick to say no. Willow asked her to think about it and she said she would.

- After a lot of thought and meetings with Willow and Hyojin, she decided to accept. Hyojin seemed like someone who genuinely wanted the best for her artists.

Sage Wen was born in Melbourne, Australia on July 12th, 1998, exactly four years after her older sister, Willow. Sage's life was like many of those around her when she was young. She looked up to her older sister and wanted to be just like her, so when she was old enough, her family enroled her in dance classes, just like her older sister, Willow. Sage was so enamoured with dancing. As she got older her parents would enrol her in more and more dance classes of any different style they could. Dancing quickly because the love of Sage's life and even from such a young age, she knew she wanted to some how continue dancing no matter what.

 

When Sage was nine (2007), Willow introduced her to K-POP. The younger girl was amazed. She fell in love with it almost instantly. The dancing is what really drew her deeper into the world of K-POP. Sage and Willow would spend their time learning K-POP dances. The first dance Sage ever learnt was Tell Me by Wonder Girls. Looking back, Sage likes to call it her gateway drug as it pulled her deeper into the world of K-POP. A couple of years later, when Sage was eleven (2009), she and her sister decided to form a K-POP dance cover group (Fantasy) so they could learn dances with more people. It took a while but slowly and surely Fantasy grew and started to become one of the more well known dance cover groups in Melbourne.

 

[ Likes ]

Cats / Sage had always liked cats but that like for cats really grew when she started to help Kenji take care of Sprite.
Dancing / She has been dancing since she was young. It's not only part of her job but something she thinks she would be lost without.
Books / Reading is something she really enjoys but it's also something she hasn't had a lot of time to do since joining Pandora.
Citrus / Her favourite flavour for basically anything.

Sage's older sister is Twilight's Will who is also the one producing Pandora.
Before joining Pandora, Sage had no desire to become an idol. She saw what Willow went through as a trainee and just never wanted that for herself.
Sage works at Young Studios (which is run by Youngho's family) as a choreographer and dance teacher.
If you asked Sage who her ult was, it would change depending on who is asking. If Willow asked it would be Willow otherwise she would probably tell you Kenji or Saerom.

Before moving into Pandora's dorms, Sage lived with her friend Sooyoung (she never really actually moved out, she still pays half the rent and keeps the things she didn't bring to the dorm there).
Sage trys to sepnd as much time with Willow as possible meaning she also in turn spends a lot of time with Twilight.
Sage has never been one to worry about her weight so the one thing she was happy with when joining DAL Media was that Hyojin didn't really care when it came to putting idols on diets.

She wants to get a cat in the future but for the time being she is happy spending time with Sprite.

Much like her sister, Sage is very much a second gen stan.

Willow Wen / Despite their , Sage and Willow grew up super close. Sage always looked up to Willow like most younger siblings do and Willow adored Sage. Back in Melbourne, the two were practially inseparable. Sage even decided to move to Seoul to be closer to her sister so they could spend more time together.

Shin Sooyoung / Coreogrepher at Young Studios

- Sage became super close to Sooyoung after begining work at Young Studios.

- The older girl was quick to take her under her wing.
- They ended up moving in together.

 

Dal Media

Pandora

Sage isn't very close to the members of Pandora. Of course, there are a few members she gets along with but mostly she dosen't really get along with the members. When she joined the company they were already a group who had trained together for a while so she feels out of place with the other members. She holds nothing against the memebrs who think her addition to the group was out of place because really, she agrees with them. She still isn't sure why Willow and Hyojin wanted to add her to the group sp badly. The other members seem like they would have been just fine without her. She still hasn't told the members that she never wanted to become an idol because it kind of just feels like she was just making excuses, even if it is the truth.

 

Twilight

When Sage moved to Korea, Willow was already training with Twilight. The group seemed really tight knit and Sage felt like she as imposing whenever she would spend time with them, but they were quick to adopt her into the extended Twilight family. There are times where she felt like an outsider but there was always members who made her feel like she belonged, even if she wasn't a part of thr group. Over the past seven years, she has become close to the members and is really thankful to have them as her family in Korea. Besides Willow, Sage is closest to Youngho and Kenji.

 

Shin Youngho / Youngho's family basically adopted Sage when she started working at his families studio. It was actually Youngho who got Sage the job. He knew she was a dancer and had seen videos so he showed his family and they were more than happy to take her on board. Sage's and Youngho's relationship is like that of an older brother and younger sister.

 

Rose

Sage isn't super close with everyone in Rose but she is with a couple of members due to being so close with Saerom, namely Yuna and Moon.

- Sage initially became close to Saerom when she stayed with the Wen family while on exchange in Australia.
- Sage sees Saerom as a sister.
- Saerom's family tends to treat Willow and Sage as their own and they often go to Saerom's family home for holidays such as Chuseok.
- Saerom was wone of Sage's biggest supporters

Sage doesnt really know any of the members of Eclipse but she supports them.

Moon Hyojin / Since Sage had spent a lot of time in and out of the DAL Media building for so many years, it was only natural that she would get to know Hyojin over time. The two got to know eachother even better when Sage and Sooyoung began choreographing for DAL Media groups. Sage really respects Hyojin and loves the way she has built up a company that is willing to give anyone a chance. She is still confused why Hyojin wanted her to join Pandora but she trusts that the older lady knows what shes doing so there must be a reason she was added, right?

[ Trainee Life ]
- Training wasn't something Sage found particularly difficult as she would spend most of her day dancing before becoming a trainee

- The singing on the other hand, was a shock. She had only ever sang before for fun and to hear she would be the leade vocalist schocked her.

- The hours spent in vocal training was more tiering to her than the dance training.
- She felt a divide between her and the other members of Pandora. They were already their own little group and she felt like she wasn't part of it and didn't want to try to be part of it as she felt like she didn't belong.

- She also felt like she had a lot of time to make up for so she spent most of her time working on her vocals and dance rather than trying to interact with the members.

[ Pre-debut ]

2009-2016 / Member of dance cover group Fantasy.
Fantasy is the dance cover group Willow started when she was a teenager in Australia. After a lot of hard work and effort, the group became quite well know in the Melourne cover community. After Willow was accepted as a trainee to Dal Media in 2014, she passed the leadership onto Sage. Even though Sage moved to Korea seven years ago, the crew is still active and thriving. Whenever she goes back to Australia she meets up with the old members and joins the newer ones for covers if she has a chance.

 

2016-Present / Choreographed some idol dances with Sooyoung under the Double S.
Mostly for DAL Media artists. Some of their work includes Rose's Akai Earphone, Violeta, Iron Boy, and Butterflies. Twilight's Breathe, and Only One (more to be added).

 

[ Headlines ]

2022 / Rush to debut?
Word gets out that Sage only trained for a month with the other girls of Pandora before their debut and people start to question why and how she was added to the group. Some people start to point fingers at Willow saying she must have really pushed to have Sage debut under Dal Media. 

 

2022 / Sage's debut handed to her?
After people started hearing about Sage's small training period, people also started to notice that Sage was Willow's younger sister. People start to question if she was handed her spot in Pandora and start accusing Sage of forcing her way in or Willow of nepotism.

 

2022 / Sage not close with the other memebrs of Pandora?

Not long after Pandora’s debut, fans started to notice that Sage seems to be distant from some of the other members and that sometimes her interactions with the other members seem forced or awkward and well, they’re not wrong. Sage understands how important the image of their group is when it comes to maintaining their popularity so she does her best to improve on acting more natural with the members and even tries to get closer to some of the members she feels okay with.

 

2022 / [BREAKING] Twilight's Kenji and Pandora's Sage caught being intimate
After a fight with the members of Pandora at their dorm, Sage left and called the only person she could think to, Kenji. Sage didn't want Willow to know what was happening so the two decided to meet near DAL Media's building and go there. As soon as she saw Kenji, Sage broke into tears and recounted what had happened with the members. Kenji wraped his arm around Sage and started to walk with her towards the DAL Media Building. Unfortonatly for Sage, who was not yet accustom with being a public figure, she didnt realise that there was someone else who managed to quickly snap some photos of the two. As soon as the photos were posted online, they quickly started to spread and it wasn’t long before netizens were talking about Kenji and Sage and adding their own two sense into the mix. Sage started to get a lot of backlash after the incident which made her believe she really wasn't made for being an idol.

 

2022 / The truth behind Kenji and Sage's relationship?
After the incident a lot of people started talking about the two online, speculating if they were together or not. A lot of people were against Sage in the situation. It wasn't uncommen for there to be comments left like "Did she become a trainee just to be close to and date famous people?", and "First she forces herself into Pandora and next she forces herself into a relationship? Disgusting." People really started to turn against Sage.
