APPEARANCE. predebut, hair soft and dye-free. post-debut, hair touched by the hands of stylists with a vision. sharp, dark eyes. sharp jaw. if looks could kill, some of the other trainees would be dead. pierced ears, five in each. ink on his left arm, a tattoo of a phoenix. barbed wire around his right arm. more to come post-debut. 

STYLE. predebut, exclusively wears a hat jammed down over the upper half of his face and a mask over the lower half to keep anyone from identifying him during bighit boys project; baggy hoodies and joggers / track pants for practices and filming. anything to preserve the mystery before the group debut. 

post debut, wears a lot more jeans, t-shirts, flannels. still wears the joggers and track pants and on occasion the baggy hoodies, but usually leaves the masks off. likes shirts with low collars and shirts without sleeves. he's, how you say, half-hoe.

predebut and post-debut alike, always has at least one article of pink, no matter how small, on him somewhere; except when the stylists get ahold of him.

levi tak comes across as someone who doesn't need help. he's used to doing things for himself and for others rather than relying on anyone else; he doesn't need anyone to guide him in the right direction or tell him what to do. if there's not a clearly marked path, levi makes one for himself. he takes on and takes care of his own problems and takes responsibility for his own behaviors; self-sufficient to the core, levi personally would call it his best quality. 

when someone else needs help, however, levi would absolutely be front and center; he's there for everyone, no matter what the issue (or lackthereof) is. responsible and with the tendency to take care of things on his own and as quickly as problems arise, he's someone it's easy to put one's faith and trust in. he takes care of his team and he does his best to be a good leader for them, making sure they get where they need to be and do what they need to do... and also that they're being taken care of and not mistreated. 

always looking after the people around him, levi's caring nature comes to him as easily as breathing. be it in the little things or the big things, he's prone to focusing on the health and wellbeing of the other members; he's always the first to notice when something's wrong and try to do something to fix it. he does whatever he can for the rest of kng, be it cooking for them when they're sick or taking the fall for something one of them did. he never acknowledges his own selflessness and will look at someone as though they've grown a second head if they mention it, but he will always put the rest of his group and his family first. 

despite being as prone to talking about his own feelings as a brick wall, levi is a very warm and outgoing person, striving to make others feel welcomed, appreciated, and loved. he's not cold by any means, and he's someone it's easy to be around; he's only strict and puts his foot down when he has to. he'd much rather keep peaceful, smooth relationships with everyone than create a conflict. levi just wants to keep their team running, and will mediate any conflicts as they arise—as the leader he views anything that happens within the group as his responsibility, and therefore making sure any potential tensions are diffused before they can explode is also his responsibility. 

levi is one of those people who is prone to feeling things to his core—as a result, it's no surprise to find him tearing up over something, be it a song or a movie or something touching that one of the members of kng said. it becomes something of a running joke among kng and their fans alike, teasing levi about his tendency to cry and have emotions but for the most part it's affectionate teasing. 

on the flipside of his crybaby antics, levi is one of those people who tries to lighten the mood, most frequently with his dad jokes and puns that get him shoved off of the couch or out of his chair and bullied by other members of kng for his bad humor. 

just as he's used to doing things for himself, he's maybe a little too used to it; levi's a stubborn soul through and through and when he does put his foot down it's impossible to make him budge. he's the type to not back down under pressure even if it might be for the best. 

you'd never think it by looking at him or listening to him talk, but levi's extremely low on the self-confidence. he doesn't have a lot of faith in himself or his own abilities, and frequently struggles with feelings of self-doubt and worries of dragging down and holding back the other members of kng. he's very good at hiding this, internalizing it with the rest of his struggles, but it is a running theme—is he even good enough as a dancer? do they need a second main dancer when they have [king of beauty]? is he even good enough as a leader or a person to be a member of kng? it's a constant, niggling thought in the back of his mind that he isn't good enough and it's one of the reasons he works himself so hard. 

when it comes to his own negative emotions and feelings, lack of self worth and the burdens he carries on his shoulders, levi tak is very good at burying them and keeping them away from scrutiny; he's a master at diverting the topic away from himself when he's upset or somehow emotionally compromised, and he hates to show perceived weakness to the other members of kng because he's supposed to be their leader and therefore the member responsible for them and someone they can lean on, not someone they have to worry about. 

just another thing in a long list of things levi is good at hiding: how easy it is for him to be stressed and overwhelmed. with the amount of weight he already carries, little things can chip away easily at levi until he's stressing out about everything: if kng will make it to practice or a performance ontime, if things will go well, if he remembered to turn the stove off, if he did everything he was supposed to do. he has extremely high standards for himself and expects that he'll always adhere to them and if he doesn't, he's frazzled about it. 

there's never a guarantee of how levi will react to something or what he's going to do next; if he's anything, he's unpredictable. sometimes, he worries that kng walk on eggshells around him because they expect him to snap, and sometimes he does snap, though that's usually after his patience has been worn very, very thin by the chaos and his stress and the burdens he carries. sometimes he does things that seem out of left field, sometimes he says strange things, but he's never easy to read or guess.

⤷ 2003. takes an interest in dance, starts dancing lessons, takes an interest in music as well. gets an old guitar from a local mom and pop store that sells produce, pickles, candy and used instruments. the store owner tells him to come by on saturday mornings. 

⤷ 2003 onward. spends every saturday morning at the store, playing music with the older folk who sit in the back with their guitars and fiddles. gains a love for old fiddlin tunes here, among the bushel baskets of cucumbers, radishes and beets.
