SUMMARY — just when soojin thought the life her family set for her was now finally her own because she decided to do things her way but it all came crashing down. quite literally as her coworker and her body crash over his desk in the office that one fatal christmas eve party. everything she worked so hard for was put on pause as her morning sickness got worse,  cramps killing her, and then giving birth to a little human she had no idea what to do with. she. was ready to fight to make her life her own but now she has to take care of another life and she is finding it hard to share life with it.

ELABORATION —

soojin is an intelligent girl, she's always been smart and mature for her age since she was young. she learn and catches on to things quickly. soojin knows what she wants in life and knows what she must do. the girl does not hesitate to take action, speak her mind, and tell anyone and everyone directly. soojin often sets the atmosphere down or in an awkward air because of how direct she is, she points out the elephant in the room and gets her point across right away. she believes in honesty whether its cruel or not is best taken with a grain of salt to learn and grow.
there for she does not watch what she says and can be insensitive towards those around her. But soojin is very open minded, she may say you're weird but she's totally open to it like she knows everyone got their own story. she looks out for other when she sees weaker people but she gives tough love. she can't seem to show affection balantly.

if she doesn't have to speak she rather not speak at all. she enjoys keeping to herself rather then talking and meeting new people. people say she is dull and boring since she doesn't seem to go out or have interesting stories to tell. everything to her has rules and laws, everything has a logic, she espcially gets irratated by those who are too creative or imaginative. she rather just get things done the right way and quickly. she doesm't know how to stop and smell the roses. what ever this woman does she makes sure its always 100%. she really hates being push around. she will fight her way to get things she wants and need (mostly at work).
 

BACKGROUND + CURRENT EVENTS —
 

• ONCE UPON A TIME soojin grew up in a well off family. they didn't own butler or maids but her father was a surgeon and her mother a gynaecologist. she gone to a private school where both her older siblings also attended. their family was known as highly educated and very well manner while still intiminating people. soojin was never really able to make friends because she honestly saw herself above those kids her age. she didn't want to run around and play tag, she did not want to sit around and gush over boy band photos instead she wanted to know why the sky was blue and who invented time.

she was really smart, and her whole family including extended family members she didn't even know expected so much out of her just as her older siblings. it was mostly her parents though who she was so afriad to dissappoint. her older brother and sister including her were put into many after school classes for more educations whether it was math or sciences, they were also put into musical instruments like piano, cello, and violin. call it crazy but they had schedules handed to them every week. when she entered high school her mother passed away from cancer. soojin like to think that it didn't really affect her because both of her parents were always so busy and the kids themselves were also so busy but suddenly she felt so much more lonely. no more late night check ups and back rubs when soojin complain about being tired from studying and classes. even the few minutes her mother spared her at night was taken away.

soojin's future was basically planned out for her to study law and work at her uncle's law firm. during her schooling soojin studied back to back never taking summer or winter break. she was able to graduate one year early because of it. she started working at her uncle's place but she wasn't very welcome and acceped by the other works because most of them thought she was not good enough and only got the job because of her uncle. it stress her out that no one there took her seriusly and she decided to leave work and home to join a new firm to show those people who she really was. soojin joined Park & Han Law Firm full time position. it took her one year of hard work, got promoted, and started handling a lot more cases then most one year rookies.

she was determine to be on top. she seriously had no social life outside of her work place and the people she usually hang out with after work were her co-workers. it was during a stupid christmas party when her stupid coworker wouldnt stop nagging at her about how antisocial she was, one thing led to another and she ended up having a one night with her stupid annoying co-worker. there was a lot of drinks involve but she also had probably one of the best night in her life, tjought she never admit it out loud.

when she found out she was pregnant, she was broken. she didn't meant to go this far to show she was not just a "grumpy antisocial person". her family, heck she was not ready to have a child for anyone's sake. she was piss, she was told she would be promoted soon BUT with the little human growing inside of her she had to take some time off. her co-worker tried to be involve but she was no way in hell letting him near her ever again. she thought he caused enough trouble, she didn't want his help. soojin's first initial thoughts was to get an abortion but when she heard the baby's heart beat she couldn't. her family was ashamed of her, she was ashamed of herself...she doesn't know the frst thing about being a mom or creating a healthy and happy environment for the kid to grow up in. 

CURRENTLY her little baby girl just turned two years old. soojin had only taken work off when she was about a week away from labor, and then two months after giving birth she went right back to work. she made good money so she hired a nanny to help her with hanbyul. soojin works many many hours and when she comes home she's tired but knows she still has to finish up some reports or review cases. she would spend mostly about 2-3 hours a day only with her daughter.

when soojin heard about this club she thought she give it a try because every night when she puts her daughter to sleep she thinks of her mother and wishes how everything was different. she is going ot try really hard to be different but she does not want to sacrifice what shes been working so hard for either. yes her career was a path her family made for her but she was genuinely passionate about the law and helping people. while most of her projects and other coworkers help the rich and weathly she took the cases of family dispute or small business going agaisnt the big corps.

soojin only has some small memories of ever being happy around her father. mostly some family outings their family did before her mother died. lots of fishing memories besides that her father was a strict father who wanted his kids to study and do well. he was closer to her older brother anyways. she holds a grudge agaisnt him remembering his words of encouragement and love when she graduated but then his face and words when he found out she was pregnant. "how can you do this to the family?" not even a are you okay as soojin puked into the toliet sweating an crying.she cut off her family then when neither her siblings supported her or even try to help. all three of them shook their head and rubbed their temples as their youngest sat on the cold tile floor in shame.

the only person who seem to tolerate soojin and enjoys soojin's sarcastic comments and moody complaints. the person who soojin also seems to tolerate as well. she is sweet, and too outgoing for soojin but she's so kind and like a lost puppy that soojin can't help but be protective and adore her. seeing her get push around in the office was one of the many reason soojin decided to work there to help the poor girl out and also because she was one of the first person to not judge soojin. their friendship didn't move fast it took a few years to become so close. the first year was lots of tough love from soojin then accepting eachother but not particularly hanging out, then the year after they complain together and finalllly went out together and hung out. they even became roomates when jinjoo lost her apartment and are till living together. jinjoo calls herself the baby's daddy because the first month these two took care of the baby back to back like a married couple.

like an angel who came into soojin's life. she was just a cleaner at the hospital where soojin gave birth. before soojin came home soojin was crying in the hopital not knowing what to do when hanbyul started crying that was when mkyung stepped into the room and helped the poor girl out even though it was not her job she couldnt walk away. after that when soojin went home she bumped into mikyung at the grocery looking like a hot mess and thats when mikyung offer to watch hanbyul and let soojin gt a nap. it ewas history after that soojin hired her as a full time nanny and for the first time she missed her mom so much that mikyung became a mother figure to her. the two do act like mother and daughter if you didn't know they werent you thought they were.

mungmung - soojin calls her pet name mungmung as a micmic of a dog barking because that was one of hanbyul's first word and something she said a lot whe nshe first learn to talk. 

FACECLAIM — kim rorin

PERSONALITY: she is whimsical and energetic. soojin blames it on jinjoo who has heavily infuence her daughter to be so outgoing and cheeky. while jinjoo says she acts exactly like her real father. she is full of. curiosity and does not shy away from asking for help or information. she enjoys talking and holding people hands and leading them on tours. she speaks and talks as if she knows and understand the whole world in a different light from adults. whether you understand her or not she goes on and on.she doesn't fuss and does well on her own and finds everything amusing. she does tend to cry or get scare when people raises their voice or when kids fight becase she isn't use to that kind of enviroment. she's been lucky to have her nanny and jinjoo who shower her with confettis and rainbows. hanbyul is a social butterfly. she is not shy at all. she will literally run into your arms and give you a tight squeezeand maybe even kiss your cheeks and hold your hand, heck the little girl might even just sit on your lap for the rest of the day if she felt like it. hanbyul has a lot of energy, she's doing one thing and in the next moment she would want to do something else too. she's very curious and loves squishing people's face with her small tiny hands.

RELATIONSHIP — 

soojin loves her daughter so much that she's willing to act cute to get on her good side. she knows she is not the best mother but when she comes home and her daugher jumps into her arm makes soojin feel even worst. hanbyul just pours so much unconditional love to soojin. she gets swamp into her work and sometimes is too tired to play with hanbyul but hanbyul never seems to be bother by it. she kisses her mother and hold her mothers hand as soojin dozes off on the sofa while she was suppose to be playing tea party. its almost as if hanbyul knows her mother is tired and she just goes and snuggles with her mother. on the weekends soojin always makes an effort to go out and do things with hanbyl, they definitely have a season passes to aquariums where hanbyul loves spending her time. they go at least every weekend. soojin still tends to be awkward at times when it comes to comforting and disciplining her daughter. hanbyul doesn't throw tantrum or anything but sometimes hanbyul gets too friendly with people and dont want to leave thats when soojin snaps or raises her voice.
