PERSONALITY june is the type of person who will introduce herself first, she will likely be the conversation starter, the person who saves you when you're stuck in an awkward conversation, the person who seems to always has things to talk about or ask about. june is the friend who buys the movie theater tickets, orders the food, and talks to customer service. She is outgoing and enjoys the outdoor and being active life. When working she never half anything and hates to see other half work, what ever she does and say is 100% effot & 100% sincere. Friends and family are her life and pride, she will do anything for them and to protect them, even when she is a little sassy and sarcastic but at the end of the day she will always lend a helping hand or cook you a nice meal even after scolding you. She is quite brave for a smal frame girl, because of her short temper and combative nature she sometimes forget that she should not be argueing with a 6ft well built guy over smallest issues. She does not tolerate trash talkers and will sometimes even take two of her friends to hold her back before she gets too heated in the arguement. You can say she overracts a lot and is sensitive. She's loud while outsider might think she's obnoxious to her friends she is their vitamin pills. She is the person who encourages her friends to try out new things and to think outside the box which ends up being kinda risky behaviors.  

 

LIFESTYLE born and raised in new york to an average cathloc korean american family. being the 2nd generation immigrant, so her korean is not the best and really speaks moer konglish and her english has a thick new yorker accent. she embraces it though. growing up she was a goodie two shoe catholic girl who did nothing beside study and church group activites thats where she fell in love with music and learn to sing, play the guitar, bass and piano. it wasn't until high school when she mixed with the wrong crowd as her parents would say it was more like she just befriend a bunch of people who werer more free minded. she started to venture out and see what she actually liked and suit her. she became more outgoing and assertive. that put a small strain on her relationship with her parents so when she graduated highschool she applied uofc. sure new york was great but she wanted a change, she wanted to see the hot beaches all year long and hollywood is wherer you make it. her parents were very much agaisnt it but her older sister supported her and then she packed up and left. she already had a good saving from working part time in high school, and when she came to ca she picked up a barista position at starbucks. she hasn't gone back home nor spoke with her parents in a long time.

her daily life consist of beign a full time student, most morings she hits the snooze button and then she would have to scramble out of bed when her one more minute eye closing turn into a 20 minute holy i'm gonna be late. she currently lives at the school's dorm and manages to make it on time always as the professors enter the room. after classes she usually goes out to study and eat with other classmates or friends. at three though she buses to the boba shop and works her 5 hours from m-fr.  after her shift she goes home, water her plants, cook a little something, and then does her homework, before settling on her bed to waste hours on tiktok and then finally sleeping.

she specifically chose morning classes so she could have the rest of the days off, shes been very lucky to be able to get into the classes.

on friday from 10am-12pm she volunteers at an animal shelters
daily hours at the starbucks is 3pm-8pm

she also does online thrift store on ig, where she sells goods she finds or trades clothes with people her handle is @junesfinding

- she enjoys horror, thriller, and comdey movies, she usually is the person who scares the people awtching the movie with her cause she will scream first out of fear and scare them before they get scared by the movie.
- she is a messy person and is super lazy at picking up after herself
- her favorite flowers are baby breath but she is a huge plant mom
- she is vegan, became vegan when she was a junior in high school. she doesn't push her belief and values on other but dont talk to her or ask her imamture questions about being vegan cause she will go all out on you. oh your bio says animal lover yet you eat animals? speciesism! plants have feelings? if a house was burning and i saved all your fruits and vegatables and not your dog you think its ridiculous so your question is ridiculous!

poppy kang | when they first met june with her thick new yorker accent was june was exhilarated and poopy was taken back a bit. a firm handshake then pulled her into a friendly hug and started talking like she knew poppy since forever. june's conversation flow naturally and soon they realized that her audition had turn into 2 hour long conversation and hangout. they got tea afterward and that how they became friends. although poppy is older june espcially treats her like she's younger and babies poppy a lot, yet in a sense that june is quite disorganized and lazy poppy is also like a mom who takes care of june giving her reminders making sure she's safe. they take care of eachother. 

  
 

 

"hi! my name's poppy kang, we spoke over the phone! let's jump right in— why'd you wanna join the band?"

► "wow! poppy!" june claps her hands in front of her enthusiastically that it made poppy jump at the sudden action and noise. "hello! i'm june lee!" she extends her hand and while poppy was still registering what was going, june took it upon herself to take poppy's hand into her own to shake. "you sound so cute over the phone but you're soooo adorable in person!" she spoke while still shaking poppy's hand back and forth now instead of up and down. "so nice to finally meet you." june then pulls poppy into a friendly hug and gentle squeeze. poppy was frozen but the hug was warm and nice that when june releases her she almost felt sad. "why do i wanna join the band?" she asks in her new yorker accent that makes poppy smile. "can i be honest?" She asks but before poppy could even nod her head June continues. "I have no friends." she leans back on the chair shaking her head. "I've been in here for some good months and i haven't even gone out with a group of friends because...well ya know it's hard when there are a bunch of friend group formed already." She shrugs and poppy understands her completetly. 

"awesome! that's super cool, what instruments do you play? do you sing at all?"

► "i'm an awesome guitar player so i promise i'm just not here to make friends i can play the guitar whether its acoustic or electic and i play the bass and i sing a little." she smiles shyly but so cutely that poppy notices a dent crease on june's right cheek, an indian dimple poppy noted. 

"wow! do you have any plans to write songs or lyrics, or produce songs for the band?"

► "oh god!" june laughs and it startles poppy again. "so back in new york i was in my church's youth band." she made a thin line with her lips trying to not die at the memories she's recollecting at the moment. "we wrote some dumb about god loving you and praising the lord and stuff but i literal was so brainwashed--" she pauses and looks at poppy. "sorry i dont mean to offend you if you're religious." she bites her bottom lips scared that she offended poppy who just shakes her head telling june it was okay. "anywyas i have a little experiences with it but i am always up to try anything." 

"okay, great, nice... um... do... you have plans to hang out with the band after practices or..." poppy seems visibly nervous. "i mean, it's fine if you're busy! just wondering..." she lets out an awkward laugh.

► "how can that even be a question" june lets out a small chuckle but sits up straight when she sees poppy kinda sink into her chair. june wants to slap herself in the face. she should had notice how nervous poppy was and now poppy probably feels stupid for even asking. "im sorry." june apologizes. "i would be more then happy to hang out. i mean seriously because you have to tell me where you got that shirt from. i've been staring at it the whole time." june smiles with her eyes when poppy looks more clam again. "my roomates are never home so we can hang out at my place too. also i need somene to take me around because all i've seen is school, work and home." she laughs. "so poppy kang if i become a band member will you take me around?"

"o-oh, okay! um... anyway, uh... are you okay with, like, the group experimenting with genres and music and stuff? this is the last question, so..."

► " yass!" she says in a lower octave. "i'm all about trying differen things!" she bumps both her fist in front of her. 

[optional] "okay! cool, nice, um... we'll be in touch! i'll let you know how it goes... see you at auditions!"

► "poppy!" she gets up and pulls poppy into a hug again."Wait! do you have a cat?!" she moves poppy back with her arms on poppy's shoulder. poppy looks confuse with her round eyes. "i can see the car hair on your dress." june picks a hair off. "I love cats! What breed is it? I use to have a cat. i adopted her and the place said she was mixed with a lot so i never knew what breed she was." june slides her phone open and slides through her photos to show poppy a photo of her fat white cat." i said use because she died when i was 15." june says it nonchalantly. 

"um...im sorry about your cat." poppy says.

"it's okay, i don't get sad about it no more, because snowball was loved and i only have good memories of her now." June smiles. "and yes snowball..so original right?" june laughs and poppy does too. soon the two realizes that they've been talking for 2 hours. 

". i am so sorry." june stands up. "did you have to meet other people."

"no actually you were the last person today." poppy assure june. 

"thats a relief." june touches her palm to her chest. "so hey i'm was going to check out this tea place down the street because i heard from my roomate that its good. do you want to join me?" 

"okay! yeah i would like to."
