[SEOLHWA 설화] given korean name after she was rescued. her name means "snow blossoms" and is derived from her snow white skin in both snake and human form. many might misunderstand and think that seol is her surname but in actual fact, she doesn't have a surname and seolhwa is just her name.

[HUMAN FORM] obtained her human form in 1868. in their human forms, snake spirits resemble nothing like a snake. hence, she looks just like a normie in her human form. she would always stay in her human form if possible instead of her snake form, due to that traumatic experience of getting poached illegally. however, the only time she would involuntarily change into her snake form is if she consume alcohol in her human form.

[dorm] the "room of truth", coined by the student population is her and wang haena's place of rest and study. seolhwa's side of the dorm is vastly different from that of her fiery roommate, who almost painted the walls red, if not for their resident assistant strong rejection, claiming to blacklist haena if she was to do so. seolhwa has decorated her side of the dorm with mostly white and earthy colours. having green fingers, she also grew a variety of plants and succulents in her room which turned out to be very useful in antidote and poison-making. 

 

[roommate] wang haena (collab with sirius-)

the fire to her earth, seolhwa gets along pretty fine with wang haena. despite having an opposite personality as haena, both of their principles and ideals match each other well, so they have been harmoniously living together with little conflicts. sharing the room with her fearleading captain also made fearleading discussions more efficient as they did not have to find and book empty rooms to talk about fearleading. the only one thing that seolhwa was pretty bemused about was why haena had to hang those red af lights in the room, making it look as if there was something satanic going on when the lights are switched on. but seolhwa has long gotten used to haena's blazing antics so she often jokes about that with haena.
