(Hard-working)
Results, the end goal, the outcome. It's always the one thing Hajun has in his mind and is one of his primary driving forces to continue moving forward. No matter how difficult a task is, there is no way he is giving up on it that easily. He would rather be trapped under the ocean for centuries like his ancestor was than give up. Now that you've heard how dedicated he is to accomplishing goals, let's move on to what he actually does that makes him so hard-working. For instance, he has shown to be very patient when tutoring other students on different subjects. Most of the time, the method of teaching you use is not always the best method for all students. So, he adjusts accordingly, finding differet ways to teach each student and see what works and what doesn't. If they can't understand algebra through a certain method, then he'll go through alternative procedures of teaching until he finds one that works. It's quite funny seeing how far he is willing to go just so this one student could understand what he is teaching them. With that example up there, it can be concluded that he applies this much work on other aspects of his life as well i.e. when he has problems of his own, he'll do his damn hardest 'till he solves it.

(Thoughtful)
Thoughts hold within them a lot of power, and you can say that Hajun uses this power wisely. He thinks before he speaks which gives him a huge bonus to his charisma. If he knows something would trigger you, he won't do it. He doesn't blow things out of proportion like what gossipers do. His criticism of others is genuinely just that, criticism, no foul words or any personal feelings included. He'll give you time to talk and make sure to ask if you are done as to not interrupt you. He'll check up on you from time to time, either through a message or in person, to see if you're doing alright. For late night study sessions with the Academic team, he'd provide the group with coffee or a beverage of their choosing that would keep them awake. So he is basically the parental figure of the group but he won't be the nagging type.

(Reliable)
This guy can manage so much stuff it's not even funny. You ever seen those planners used in TV shows where the character has so many sticky notes with some practically falling off? Well, he has a planner of his own but 100 times less messy. If you need something taken care of, you can count on this man to do his absolute friggin best. You can rely on him because he speaks the truth and won't see the necessity in lying straight to your face. He won't be your "Yes" man. He won't make promises that he knows he wouldn't be able to keep. He won't gossip behind your back cause he doesn't stoop that low. Your secrets are safe with him.

(Slow to anger)
Miniscule things that make people angry aren't as effective at triggering Hajun for this man can withstand even the greatest of annoyances. But of course we gotta put some sort of limit as to what would finally make him break. So, for example you keep breaking promises to him. It'll be fine the first 5 times but, as soon as you break it for the 6th time, you are going to experience a long sermon from him. He doesn't really shout since he himself is afraid of loud noises so, he just throws out really critical words at you once finally break this man's patience. He isn't perfect so the thoughtful trait wherein he chooses his words might not always apply when he gets angry(meaning there will be instances where his words are critical but not hurtful and there would be instances where his words are critical and are hurtful). Other examples include: being targeted for pranks by the rival school(the severity of which actually messes with his academics or an important area of his life), when false rumors of him spread so much that people start believing it, and bullies. You can think of other examples that you think have the same gravity as these ones. How does he handle his anger when he doesn't explode at those causing it? Well, he just rubs it off like a minor inconvenience(it ain't the end of the world lol). If he is angry, you either get sermons(if these are things the person at fault can work on like a broken promise, lying, caught stealing from him, etc) or get flung into the ocean/get eaten by him he'll send someone to terrorize you for a day(for things like vicious pranks by any student from any school, physically assaulting him, and spreading false rumors about him) cause let's be honest, if it gets to that point, you honestly deserve to be terrorized.

(Perfectionist)
Who doesn't like it when things are perfect? Or at least close to perfection. Hajun is very critical with details andmakes sure that everything is followed to the letter. A sample would be him being very specific with instructions like "Head out of this room, go down to the first floor and turn right. You will see a vending machine at the very end of the hallway. Approach it and take out the exact amount I am giving you right now which is (insert exact amount here) and insert it into the bill acceptor. Press the buttons 'A' and '5' in that order. Wait for the machine to deliver the product from A5 to you. Grab the product and go back here. That is all." To give it some kind of range, the ridiculousness of his instructions range from the example above being the most ridiculous to less ridiculous instructions but still specific. It can be tiring with him around especially in group works since he'll most likely want to do it all alone cause he knows what his perception of perfect is and sis you don't have it. But he won't be an about it and will still let you do parts of the project but be warned that he is a hard judge to please.

(Intelligent)
I mean, I think the personality traits above have already displayed a fraction of his intelligence. Out of all the types
of intelligence, Hajun excels in Logical-Mathematics, Musical, and Bodily-Kinesthetics. Kinda explains why he is in the Academics Team, Dance Team, and Choir. To explain a bit more, for his time in Academics Team, he is known as someone you can go to when you need a little bit of tutoring cause most probably he already knows how to solve your problem. He isn't those "I don't study" but get 100 on the exam kind of guy. He worked hard for his intelligence and continues to do so. For Bodily-Kinesthetics, he has great muscle memory and is very coordinate with his movements. Impeccable reaction-time and great reflexes. One would've guessed that he'd be into one of the sports clubs but he, instead, is seen as one of the members of the Dance club. "What? The dance club?". Yes the dance club. It was really unexpected as well since those who have the same demeanor as him aren't usually in teams like that but Hajun is here to continually surprise everyone around him. Musical intelligence comes from his perfect pitch, ability to read notes quickly, and how fast he can pick up learning an instrument. He prefers singing instead of playing instruments though.

(Reserved)
As helpful as Hajun is to those around him, he isn't the type to be open to others. He helps them mostly because they asked for his help or he found it necessary that he help them. On normal occasions, he just keeps to himself and does what he does letting the world around him work. He doesn't detest social interaction but won't initiate it either unless he finds it necessary. To put it short, "he is just there." You may ask yourself, isn't he just being Aloof? And if so, isn't that a negative trait? To answer that question, no he is the pure definition of being reserved. Aloof people aren't friendly nor do they communicate efficiently in social situations, Hajun does. As for it being a neutral trait, well the good thing about this is that he is generally a quiet person if you don't like people who are always energetic with their  volume at max and you can even sense some professionalism from how he keeps to himself. The bad thing about this is he doesn't really show any emotions. Like its super rare to find him smiling. Like finding-an-Iphone-while-scubadiving-rare. With this, he can be seen as emotionless which is just not the type of person a lot of people would like to interact with. Rumors about him actually being a robot have been surfacing because of it.

(Independent)
You probably saw this trait coming. While other students are burning out due to how stressed they are with all the homeworks, projects, tests, and events the school has, we have our boiii Hajun here chillin cause he knows how to handle all that. He can literally live on his own without a problem. This man is a walking planner. He does have his limits to how much he can handle though like big school events, yeah he can't handle all of that on his own so he is glad to have people help him out.

(Insecure)
And now we come on to the negatives. The spice. The bad berries in the bunch. Starting off with, what is possibly his biggest negative trait, being insecure. Kinda unexpected right? How could this basically organized man still be insecure  of himself? Well, let's start off first with what exactly he is insecure about. Let's get it out of the way now that everything regarding his intelligence is something he isn't insecure about. He is fairly insecure of how people perceive him not only because of how he presents himself but also because of what he is. He is defined as a moon eater and we all know that a lot of monsters hold the moon as something precious to them. Seeing a moon eater amongst them is like seeing their mortal nemesis. He is afraid of how people think about him because of what he is which lead to him keeping to himself most of the time. He does his best to present a friendly demeanor when someone wants to interact with him or vice versa. He is also insecure about his looks, as most Bakunawa are. There is a reason why his ancestors wanted to eat the moon, it was because of how it's beauty surpassed theirs. Even without the urge of eating or hating the moon, his insecurities with his looks have still been present ever since which explains why he does his best to cover all the Bakunawa parts of him with fully covering clothing and, also, the reason why he avoids revealing clothes is because he isn't confident in his own body. Compliments towards him are highly appreciated but because of his reserved nature, he is unable to show genuine appreciation for such comments other than a quick "Thank you." Does he show any emotional change when people make fun of / directly attack his insecurities? Yes, he'll get angry or sad but with the thought of how he thinks people think of him, he wouldn't show it publicly. Rather, he'd express it when he is alone either by crying or something else to release all the pent up anger. A big and most likely the only factor for this trait developing within him is the lack of a parental figure to guide him and reassure him of his insecurities. Literally no support system for this man. He only had his own motivations to rely upon to keep him moving forward. Honestly, I could expand more on this trait but I think I've written to much. To keep it short, his insecurities keep him from doing a lot of things he wants to do and when he actually goes for those things, he'll think to himself that he isn't enough for it(for example: let's use an idol themed one. if he wanted to be a main vocal but was insecure of his own singing skills, he wouldn't try to take that position. If he does get that position, he would think lowly of himself, thinking that he isn't enough to fit the role, saying that someone else would have been better for the role.)

(Emotionless)
I think I've explained him being emotionless through his reserved trait but to reiterate or expand upon that, he isn't the type of person who is driven by emotion which leads to him being someone who doesn't express his emotions at all or at least as frequent as someone should. This isn't to say that he doesn't possess any emotions, he does have them but he just finds difficulty in expressing them. Once again, emotionless people aren't really the type of person others want to interact with so it makes it hard for him to gain any friends even if that was what his goal was.

(Self-critical)
This is paired up with his insecure trait. One of the major reasons why he can't get over his insecurities is because he is very critical of himself. The degree of his perfectionism and attention to every bit of detail is the same degree as to how much he criticizes himself. He'll blame himself for experience the negative emotions he feels even if his emotions are justified. An example would be when someone insults him, greatly attacking his insecurities. He'd obviously feel very hurt and sad but his self-critical self would tell him that he shouldn't feel this way and how pathetic he is for even being hurt by such an insult(while this may sound like a good thing, it inhibits his genuine feelings). This pairs of beautifully with his insecure self as when he wants to try out something, there would his self-critical thoughts that create this huge barrier preventing him from doing so. This is also a major reason as to why he can't make friends. He himself is preventing him from a lot of potential relationships with people. The only times he isn't self-critical is when even his soul knows he can do it so things like his responsibilities within each club and other extra curricular teams he is in he would be confident in.

(Tunnel Vision)
Not sure if this is the first time you've heard of or seen this being used as personality trait but, tunnel vision is 
defined as one's tendency to focus on a single goal. Now what does this mean when it comes to him. Well, delving a little deep into his backstory, his main goal is to be even more successful than his father to the point that his name would be revered around the world. Why? Because once he this happens, then maybe his father would actually take notice of him and be reminded that he actually has a son. Hajun would want to stress that his success is purely his own and he has no one to thank aside from himself. Through this statement, he wants to show his father how absent he was in his life and how he won't even recognize him like what he did for all his life. Now back to the personality. How exactly is he showing tunnel vision with the information provided above? He does so by only doing actions that help him progress towards this goal letting nothing distract him. Once he has realized that he himself isn't capable of making friends, he found that it wasn't necessary anyways since they weren't going to help him achieve his goal(which is wrong lol). His vision is solely for his goal which kinda splits him off from everything else. Every fun thing that teenagers enjoy, he doesn't bat an eyelash to. This is very destructive to himself because he isn't thinking right. Even if that is his goal, his method of achieving it is basically isolating himself from everything else that doesn't contribute to his progress. To try and visualize it for yourself, imagine removing everything you enjoy and only doing things that contribute to your progress in getting your dream job. That's boring as hell and unhealthy because it is still important to enjoy things in life.

Hajun was born as one of the Bakunawa in one of the secluded islands along the coast of Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. Unfortunately, his mother died after giving birth to him which left him in the care of his father. His father being a busy man, running the company he and his grandparents had built over the last 100 years, did not have time nor did he make any time for his son, due to his immense greed, who grew up in the care of multiple butlers and servants.

While growing up, he’d constantly ask whoever was taking care of him at that time if he could call his father or visit him to which the servants always responded saying that his father is a very busy man and that if he were to visit him, he would only distract him from his work. Hajun later found out that it was his father who ordered his servants to tell him that if ever such a scenario occurs. The lack of a father figure or any relative to act as his parental figure to guide him had impacted his personality growing up. Though he had grown up with manners and some social skills, he still is not the best version of himself he could be solely because he did not have anyone. The only sign that his father did not fully forget him is the hefty allowance he receives from him.

The servants were just kind of there to assist him with anything he needed and were also the ones to help him discover and control his abilities as a Bakunawa. Growing up he was also warned to keep his Human form up when he is around humans because the servants have shared their stories with him on how mean and aggressive humans could be to monsters even if the monsters would only mind their own business.

Growing up, he had every child’s dream. He could buy every toy he wanted, eat all the candy, and stay up all night without being scolded. But, even with that, Hajun still felt lonely. He wanted to see his father. He wanted him to be there for him as he grows up. When he finally got himself his own phone and the number of his father, he would constantly leave messages greeting his father, telling him about his day, and presenting to him all his achievements which are all ignored or sometimes just greeted with either “Read” or a thumbs up. Calling him was of no use since he does not pick up or would decline the call. The only time he picks up is for him to say, “I’m busy maybe later.”

Hajun grew to resent his father and swore that he would make his father regret ignoring his existence. He had planned on what to do for months and when he had concluded that this was his course of action, took no time to dally and proceeded to enact it. His plan was to rise above and even greater than his father’s success to the point that his name is revered by many. Then when his father approaches him, he would be the one to deny knowing about his existence.

He had decided to go to Daeghoul Fright Academy for his high school education and possibly College if ever they expand on it. He is not trying to follow in his father’s footsteps as this was also the academy he went to when he was young but instead wants to prove a statement that he would be better than his father was in this school. He also will not take any business classes since that’s what his father does. Instead, he will rise above doing what he likes. He grew up liking dancing and singing as well. He had found some sirens who he asked for some lessons on and for dancing, he went to some of the famous dance studios to learn. He planned to be a famous singer or dancer but then he thought, why not both? Then came the idea of becoming an idol like those he sees and listens to. The hallyu wave was hitting the world by storm making it one of the trendiest things up to date. What better way to become popular or possibly hit instant success than debuting in an idol group from an already popular entertainment agency? With that, he chose a song, practiced hard, and auditioned at one of the most prestigious entertainment agencies at the same time as he enrolled for his 1^st year in high school. Thankfully, he was accepted and managed to fit the training within his schedule and is still a trainee as of current.

During his 1^st year in Daeghoul Fright Academy, you would think this would be the best time to give a good impression since he would be studying here for a long time, but because of how tunnel visioned he was, he did not make any friends, mostly friendly acquaintances. He was the talk of the campus when he first showed up because of handsome he was, while not being the most handsome, he was pretty high on the scale to get a lot of the students to talk about him for almost a month. This was a big boost in his popularity which allowed him to get enough votes to join the Student Disembody Council as their secretary until his 3^rd year in the academy.

Some of the students were not happy with him for different reasons. Others did not like him for what he was, others were envious of his popularity despite him literally just walking in campus, and others just did not like his demeanor calling him weird. This made him a victim of harassment in the form of pranks and sometimes even bullying. Unphased, like the king he is, continued with his goal in mind. He manages to report these harassers and bullies because he always keeps a recording device on him which easily identifies the offenders. This of course gave him a bad rep with these students, got them off his back temporarily, but resorted to destroying him socially by spreading false rumors about him. The rumors range from him being a robot to him having a sugar mommy. As ridiculous as these claims are, rumors are still rumors and stupid students will be stupid students by believing it and spreading word.

He managed to survive all three years within this school despite all of this and was well-known for being one of the best students both academically and how he contributes greatly in preparation for the events the school holds. Now that he is in his 4^th and, maybe, final year, we’ll see how things go.

In his fully transformed Bakunawa Form he possesses these attributes:

Amphibious nature: Bakunawa possesses a pair of gills that allow him to stay in the water indefinitely, closing them only for when he rarely comes on land. His front limbs allow him to move about on the surface, though his range of motion is limited compared to the water.

Sensory whiskers: The whisker-like appendages on either side of Bakunawa's head serve a similar function to those of a catfish, being able to detect prey and other foreign bodies in the water through electromagnetic detection.

Massive Appetite: Due to their large nature, they need to eat a lot for them to maintain their bodily functions. If a whale consumes 480 million calories and a Bakunawa is larger than a whale, then Hajun eats about 4,726,605,505 calories per day (four billion seven hundred twenty-six million six hundred five thousand five hundred five calories) which leads him to be constantly eating just to maintin his bodily functions

Eyes: Emerald Green eyes that instill fear into those he stares at.

Mouth and Teeth : The mouth is the size big enough to swallow the moon whole. Razor sharp teeth the slice through meat like knife on butter.

Front Limbs / Hands : Long large scaly arm the ends in three-clawed webbed hands.

Height and Length: 260 feet height and 966 feet length. Big boii

Super Strength: The strength he possesses in his Fully Transformed Bakunawa form is still present in both his human form and normal form but are reduced to a tenth of it's original power which, believe me, is still insanely strong. Suppressing his strength was one of the hardest things he had to train for growing up since the Bakunawa could only suppress so much in his other forms. Thankfully, he is in full control of his strength and won't accidentally rip out a door handle.

Enhanced Senses: This is only applicable when he is submerged in water. He is able to detect foreign bodies from miles away.

Water Manipulation : As the first Bakunawa was one of the deities of the sea, their kind has been blessed with the ability to manipulate all forms of water. If you want a reference at how good he is at water bending, he'd be close to how good Katara is during her prime.

Flight: Bakunawas are known for being able to reach the moon with their ability to fly. The first Bakunawa being a deity of the sea passed down this ability to her descendants giving them the ability to fly as well.

Regenerative Healing Factor: This isn't as fast as Wolverine or Deadpool's regeneration but is enough to sustain him in battle. It is also one of the main reasons why he needs to eat so much food as this requires a lot of energy to do so.

Magical Resistance: Being a descendant of one of the deities of the sea, Bakunawas are blessed with the deity's natural resistance to magic. Though not impenetrable, breaking through this resistance is still a taxing job. Resistance doesn't necessarily mean immunity so fire spells against him will still do damage but would not do the expected amount if casted normally. You would need more power to start hurting him.

Combat: An aquatic Titan by nature, Bakunawa uses it to his advantage when battling land-dwelling or airborne Titans who are not at home in the water, and his musculature allows for him to grapple and constrict the enemy with his body length, though this tactic is lost on land. In the event of this, his clawed forelimbs are also viable weapons, though he cannot quite hold his own as well on the surface.

Durability: Bakunawa can take a beating, being able to shrug off most military artillery directed upon him, and able to withstand the attacks of Titans such as the Kraken.

Shapeshifting: Bakunawa's are able to shape shift into their "Normal form", "Human Form", and there Full-sized Bakunawa form at will.

[weaknesses and strengths] 

Weakness:
Loud noise - Basically his most known weakness. This weakness was cursed upon all Bakunawas by Bathala when they saw the first Bakunawa eating all six moons and about to eat the seventh and last one.

1 vs many: He may have a difficult time if a lot of creatures worked together and attacked him. But if he could take on a whole army by himself, the amount of creatures who would want to attempt and defeat him need to be at least 5 times the amount.

Big appetite: If he doesn't meet the required calorie amount per day, he tends to become weaker and even sickly to the point that others would need to assist him in walking.

Fire - Fire is especially helpful against beating a Bakunawa as it drastically slows their regenerative healing factor by a lot.


Strength:

Water Adept - Bakunawas are to be feared in their prime element of water. They are difficult opponents to beat for both land and air creatures. Don't even try fighting him when he has submerged himself in the sea. You either get drowned or eaten. While up against other sea fairing creatures, he has the upper hand even with his large size as he is capable of sensing their every move with his whiskers. Pairing this up with his ability to control water, he can suspend their movement and directly move them into his mouth if he chooses to consume them.

Blessed by the sea goddess - Magical casting creatures might also have a difficult time attacking or influencing the Bakunawa as blessings of one of the deities of the sea protect them from such magic. Though this protection isn't impenetrable, it would just require mastery of such magic, accuracy, and power to affect them.

[elaboration] 
The Bakunawa was actually one deities/goddesses of the sea. Her beauty immaculate and comparable to the radiance of the sun. The legend says that there were seven moons all shining brightly at night. The goddess fell in love with the deities of the moons but her love was rejected by all of them. Angered, she turned herself into the giant sea serpent known as Bakunawa and devoured all 6 moons. Bathala(god), angered by her actions, cursed her with the fear of loud noise. This information was given to the humans by Bathala himself and said that when the night comes, they should bang there pots, shout as loud as they can, and do as much noise as possible. This would cause the Bakunawa to spit out the last Moon and retreat back into the depths of the ocean in fear of the noise. Some say that the reason why the Bakunawa was so angry at the moons was not only because they rejected her love but because their beauty was so much greater than hers.

The Bakunawa, her anger still ever present, would periodically try and devour the moon but would continually fail as the humans remember the words of Bathala and to avoid the world's destruction, they follow those words and keep them to heart. The actions of the Bakunawa are also believed to be the causes of an eclipse.

How do Bakunawas die? Well, there are two ways they can die.
1. They can still be killed even if it is tough to do so.
2. Starvation. 7 days of not consuming the required amount of calories and they are dead. They can live as long as they want as long as they consume the required amount of food.

When a Bakunawa believes that they have lived a good life and are ready to pass on, they would submerge themselves in the bottom of the ocean and lay there for 7 days, not eating anything causing their bodily functions to cease leading to their death.

- With how much he covers himself and the rumor that he eats a lot, people generally assume his chubby.
- Doesn't really have a lot of stuff, just clothes, food, books, planners, and a guitar along with other miscellaneous yet important things like ID.
- Touch-deprived, this doesn't mean he would react positively though. He isn't familiar with this so he himself doesn't know that it is something he needs. Eventually he'll be wanted physical affection.
- He has informed his professors about his condition when it comes to food. They allow him to eat during class but the food he eats must not produce an aroma or make loud sounds when eats them as to not disturbed the class.

[the incident of 2019] 
Initial Reaction: Hajun was shocked by the news as he had no idea that these vicious pranks would get to this level. He thought that, despite the rivalry and prank war between the two schools, no one would ever go this far but it did and to say his was disappointed would be an understatement. "And they say we're the monsters."

Response: "Hello, Jiae. Yeah, it's me. How much for the entirety of DAE? Staff and Students. All of them."
"What the ? What happened?"
"A student at Daeghoul was murdered. The police say the evidence is inconclusive but even would know that these incompetent DAE students did this."
"Sh*t..."
A few seconds pass
"Look kid, I'm not powerful enough to manipulate an entire school but... *sighs* I'll see what I can do. It's gonna cost you."
"I don't care how much it costs. Tell me what your plan is before you do it."
"Alright I'll keep in touch."
And what happens next, oh great author, is entirely up to you.

Current feelings: He still holds a lot of hate for the entirety of DAE but he shifts his focus on his own goals. He's waiting for updates from Jiae to see what she came up with to torture them.

Student Disembody Council:
Position: Secretary
Role: As Student Council Secretary, Hajun is in charge of taking accurate notes, also called minutes of meeting, of the student council meetings. It is his responsibility to ensure that other students and faculty members have access to these notes so there is transparency.

During events, he and the other secretaries discuss workloads and distribute them evenly towards the students who are helping create the event. As he is in his 4th year, he oversees this process more than the others and involves himself directly by assisting and providing updates when necessary.

Not really there role as a secretary but, as part of the student council he is to collect all student concerns and discuss them on the next student council meeting.

Managing and collecting files is what he does best and is exactly one of the requirements for him in this position. He keeps them well documented and organized for them to be easily acessible.

Relationship with other members: He pays close attention to everything discussed during their meetings and holds every opinion tossed seriously. He has no favorites within the team and holds no bias against anyone. As he is the oldest among the secretaries, he is looked upon by the younger ones as they would constantly ask him for advice on different secretarial tasks which he happily discusses with then in detail.

Dance Team:
Position: Member
Role: Follow the captain's instructions. Give own suggestions for choreography, song choice, and concept if necessary. Other than that, just dance.

Relationship with other members: As this is the club that has a lot of popular members and based on what I've described on how some popular kids view him, his relationship with them is non-existant. He knows that some of them are the ones who started the rumors but picking a fight wouldn't lead to anything useful to him so he just ignores them.

As he has his own idol training, he has the upper hand when learning choreography and is usually praised for being a fast-learner to which the other popular students detest.

Just like with tutoring, anyone who wants his help when learning the choreography can go ask him and he'd happily teach them.

There hasn't really been news about a fight breaking out within the team because of how jealous the other popular kids are but there are instances where he was partnered with one of his haters for a dance. The person kept on stepping on his feet on purpose through out time they were practicing to which he called her out by saying "Captain, are our partners supposed to keep stepping on our feet?" The comment earned a lot of laughs from the other students while earning the ire of not only his partner but also his haters. If you're gonna ask, his feet are fine. #Bakunawadurability

Hyunae is this hyper girl who is just the definition of purity and a complete ball of sunshine. She loves talking to people and making friends with those on campus especially those in her class. She is known for that since she basically approached everyone in the room the first day of school. Hyunae is very hardworking when it comes to everything. Once she has a set goal she will work as hard as she can to achieve it and wouldn't give up until she achieves that goal. This girl is shining with confidence and is willing to take risks unlike most people do. This side of her makes her the role model some students look up to since they want to have that kind of confidence to face really hard tasks in their life. Very caring girl who would put your needs first before hers. She'd be willing to take care of you when you are sick, bring you coffee when you are working late at night, and give some advice when you are experiencing a problem.  She never misplaces anything and always gets her work done before the deadline so she can have time to do what she wants.

She can be very immature like a literal child. She'd stick out her tongue to mock you and tease you and even laugh at dirty jokes. Paired up with her potty mouth, she would swear at you like a sailor instead of talking the mature route and talking about it. She does love to talk and does this a lot to the point that others get annoyed. Her constant babbling would never end unless you tell her to stop which she would do for a few seconds or minutes until she goes at it again and you'd be too tired to ask her to shut it again. Hyunae is a very sensitive person who can't handle being criticised or yelled at. She is the type of person who would tear up or cry whenever she gets yelled at or criticised heavily. It has always been like that ever since she was a kid and she never developed out of this and it stuck with her. Ever since her friend was targetted with a very vicious and traumatizing prank, she had sworn to take her revenge. Her friend pleaded that she doesn't do anything drastic in which she promised that she wouldn't. She'd just make those sorry excuses for humans cry and sh*t their pants. Insulting her isn't the best way to go since she is very sensitive to negative and harsh comments. She'd pounce on you and try to beat you up if only there weren't such rules in the school that could get her in trouble for doing so. Instead of physical retaliation, her potty mouth would assault her attacker with some very harsh and dirty words that would completely wreck their confidence. Her blunt nature gives her a bit of a bad rep since she doesn't really hold anything back. If she thinks you're a b*tch, she won't be subtle about it. Sometimes this could be a good thing but usually it isn't especially when people aren't really in the mood to hear her speak bluntly about them and their faults.

[brief background] She was born in a pack of wolves one fine night. Growing up she had realized that her family believed that monsters and humans cannot co-exist together. They don't believe in monsters fitting with the society of humans which is why none of them ever attended any monster academy as they preferred the simple life of living in the woods and hunting prey. Hyunae wasn't all about this though. She was very much interested in the society that humans lived in and wanted to fit in with them. Not that she detests her own kind but she doesn't believe in their beliefs. She believes that monsters and humans can co-exist even if it means hiding the monster's true identity. She expressed her wishes of attending a monster school at a young age and while her parents protested against it, one of her aunt who shared the same values as her said that they were willing to take her in if that would help in their decision-making. After some deliberation, her parents agreed to let her stay with her aunt and attend school but the costs would be shouldered by her aunt.

She made friends with a lot of the monsters in school but wanted to see if she could do the same with humans. She quickly learned that humans have this innate prejudice against anything non-human as rocks were thrown at her and she was shooed away by the children's parents. Still holding to her own beliefs, she was positive that she could still make it in this society, even if it means concealing her monster self while in the presence of humans.

Moving to high school, she had made herself decently known but not popular in Daeghoul Fright Academy. She is known for being one of the top pranksters who target the students of DAE. Her pranks ranged from seemingly harmless to submerging your 5000 word hand-written essay in water. The reason for her pranks started when one of her close friends was targetted by the DAE for a vicious and traumatizing prank. Her friend was afraid of spiders and these students from DAE just dumped a bin full of them on her. Not only were the spiders venomous but there was a heck ton of them too. Lucky for her friend, they weren't as physically injured as they should've been if not for their regenerative properties but the trauma of that event scarred her good. She is now afraid to go outside and even dropped out of high school and moved away from the city. This meant war for Hyunae. She is holding nothing back because of what they did not only to her friend but also the student they murdered.

[first meeting] 
Hyunae and a bunch of her friends were pulling this sick prank on some DAE students who were also known pranksters. They caught the students spending their time in a cafe nearby and decided to drop a whole load of whip cream on them as soon as they exit.

Once the DAE students exited the cafe, the ropes were released and the whip cream covered the entire group of DAE students. Hyunae and her group laughing their asses of before beginning to run when they saw that the DAE students were running after them. They split off from each other to keep the DAE students from catching them.

While Hyunae was running, she turned to the right of a building and bumped into something sturdy. Rubbing her eyes she saw that it wasn't something, rather, a someone who looked like he was fine despite her running at her speed. She immediately noticed that his was a student from her school as well. Seeing the students of DAE right across the street and running towards her, she grabbed him and dash towards an alley and hid both of them behind a dumpster.

Once the cost was clear, she turned to him, who she didn't expect to be so close because he himself was also looking if the coast was clear, to tell him that they were gone.

She recognized the student after looking at him as one of her classmates in some of her classes. The ever popular and rumored to be a robot Hajun.

"Oh, wait. You're Hajun right?" she asked as he nodded. "It's me Hyunae from Monster Studies, Language Arts, and choir." she followed up to which he acknowledged by saying "Yes, I've seen you in our classes."

"What exactly were you running away from that you had to drag me behind a dumpster for?" he asked as they started walking.

"Well, you see, me and a bunch of my friends just pulled off a prank on the DAE students using whip cream. The DAE students started running at us like the idiots they were, like how the hell are they gonna catch any of us, I'm fast a hell. Anyways, while I was running, I bumped into you and seeing that they might just grab you and put you in some vicious prank as payback, I lead you to safety. You are welcome." she said ending in a little bow to which Hajun took seriously and bowed the full 90 degrees as well.

"Okay way too formal." she noted. "By the way, what were you doing walking around there? Don't you know that that place is a bit of dangerous territory since a lot of DAE students hang out there. You could've been pranked or even worse, kidnapped." she exclaimed.

"I was just going a for a walk." he replied.

While they were both walking back to the campus, Hyunae talked the whole way talking about all sorts of things and sharing some little stories as Hajun stayed quiet and listened to her ramblings. He was quite impressed at how she spoke to him. Not a lot of people really engage conversation with him and when they do, it's usually just about academics or school-related stuff. She, however, talked to him like they were long time friends. Suprisingly enough, he found himself enjoying her company despite her being all talkative and a little vulgar at times.

Chapter 1
When lunch time came, Hyunae had a plan for a prank but she was one man short for it to work. She figured maybe that robot guy had some spare time and could help them. As she was turning to go see where he was, she saw him heading out the room looking like he was in a hurry.

Curious, Hyunae decided to follow him. After going through a few floors and practically already outside of the building and onto a small field, still within the campus, she found him sitting on one of those picnic blankets taking out insane amounts of food.

She sneaked up behind him and said "That's a lot of food you've got there. Anyone else joining you?". Initially shocked, Hajun couldn't say a word at first. As he was going to explain why he had so much food, a group of students Hajun knows all too well were passing by and saw him and all the food displayed.

"Look at this ing nerd chowing down on all that goods. Hey fatass, you get a yet?"

"Save some for the orphanage beluga whale."

"This is the popular guy everyone's been raging about? Pathetic as hell."

To sample a few of there remarks.

Hyunae, not having any of it seeing as Hajun was visibly uncomfortable with them being around as he even stopped munching on his food, stepped in.

"So what if he eats like this? At least he knows what he needs. You know what you guys need? A f*king bath! You guys are stinking up the campus with your stench. And no, axe body spray isn't considered a bath. Use actual soap and shampoo you morons. Now beat it before I whoop your sorry asses. Oh wait, you guys are as flat as plywood." she barked managing to scare off the students.

She looks at Hajun who seems to be more at ease now that they are gone. Hyunae sat down across him and asked "Is that why I never see you eating in the canteen? Cause idiots like them?" to which Hajun nodded as he continued to eat.

She sighed "Well, wait right here. I'm gonna bring my own lunch here." After a few minutes, she came back to see that he had already finished half of his food.

"Damn, talk about being a vacuum cleaner. Why do you need to eat this much anyways?" she asked.

"Bakunawa's need a lot of energy to keep their bodily functions active. If I don't eat the required calorie amount of 4,726,605,505 calories, I would get sick and I don't have time for that." he stated.

"Also, how did you know I was here? Did you follow me?" he asked.

"I was actually gonna ask you to join me and the gang for a prank since we need one more guy to do something but I saw you rushing off and followed you here. Good thing too. You might have not eaten because of those guys." she beamed.

"I'd like to apologize that you had to confront those students like that." he apologized.

"Don't sweat it. Jerks like that deserved to be barked at." she said.

"So about the prank thing. I won't be able to join you or your group. I am busy for the whole day." he announced.

"That's fine. You owe me though." she responded as she munched on her own lunch.

Ever since that encounter, Hyunae would join him for lunch just to scare off anyone who tried to insult him. She tried telling him that it was fine to eat this much since he needed it so why not just eat in the canteen? He said he preferred eating there and wouldn't want to attract any more attention than he already did, mostly in annoyance that he might have to deal with more harassment.

During their little lunch dates, she would still try to get him on the pranking scene each time they meet. Hajun would go and explain to her that he has got a lot of things to do each time she asks.

"So riddle me this, Mr. Moon Eater, what do you do for fun?" she asked. Curious as to what the mysterious person who is known for only his looks and academic standing finds fun.

Hajun couldn't answer the question. He never really considered fun as something necessary which is why he couldn't give her a straight answer. Organizing the files are fun right? Nah...

"See. Well, what I do for fun is..." she goes on about all the things she does for fun like pranks, going on road trips, etc... while Hajun eats and listens closely to her ramble on.

While rambling on, she noticed that Hajun never really interjects or adds anything to the conversation.

"Hey, am I just gonna keep talking or are you gonna add anything any time soon?" she asked.

"I've kinda noticed it too. I'd ramble on about random things and you'd just sit there eating and, well, doing nothing. You could at least interject to say what's on your mind about what I was just talking about." she said.

"I don't feel the need to interject. Besides, it looks like you could carry on and on nonstop." he stated.

"That's boring as hell man." she sighed. 

"Boring?" he questioned.

"Yes, boring. Like straight up talking to nothing. Look if you wanna be less of a robot these rumors about you say you are, then you've got to be a little bit more lively. You know show actual emotions, interest, talk. Smile for goodness sake. I haven't been paying much attention to you for the time I've been here but I swear I have never seen a smile on your face. You should try it." Hyunae articulated.

Hajun has had people criticize him before but most were just plain hate. This was different. Actual constructive criticism about how he behaves. He hadn't really put any thought about how he acts, in fact, he thought that how he acted was already fine. But, according to Hyunae, this doesn't seem to be the case. He took her words to mind and when they met again during lunch, he asked her how to be this more lively character she was talking about.

She'd tell him to loosen up and be a little care-free and less glued to his duties and to not think of everything as a professional work environment.

There was an instance where one of her funny stories actually got to him good and made him snicker a little bit.
"See. You look handsome when you smile like that. I mean you're already good looking but smiling like that boosts up your attractiveness even more." she cheered

After sick, personality-changing training montage, jk. When he was slowly, but surely, developing his personality even more, he would finally engage more in a conversation. He'd learned to start a conversation with an interesting topic and learned how to keep a conversation going. Now he didn't fully change. There's still that OG Hajun quietness he has and he still has to work on his emotions more but progress is progress and Hyunae couldn't be more proud.

Chapter 2
There was a time where he talked about being put in a certain position for the Dance Team, he told her that even when he practiced a lot, he still thought he wasn't good enough for that position so he asked the captain to give it to someone else.

"Did the Captain say you were bad at it or did you decide that for yourself?" she inquired.

"I did." Hajun stated

"You idiot that's not how you should do things. You're being too hard on yourself. I may not be on the Dance Team but I know that the captain would be the most knowledgeable when it comes to dance and if you've practiced right in front of  them and they say nothing critical about you, then that means you're doing a good job. What the hell gave you the idea that you weren't good enough for the part?" she scolded.

"I guess the other popular students also made it clear that they wanted and could do my part better." Hajun mentioned.

"Screw that! The only thing that matters is the decision of the Captain. Don't let anyone tell you that you aren't good enough. As long as you know you can do it and the Captain has no problem with it, then you're good." Hyunae said reassuringly.

"You honestly worry like those grade conscious students." Hyunae yammered.

This was the kickstarter for him to believe in himself more and stop worrying about his self-critical thoughts. #characterdevelopment
 

Spending time with Hyunae had definitely impacted Hajun. He didn't really have any friends and with continually breaking him out of shell, he had never been happier. He really enjoyed her company and because of her help, people have been commenting that he is acting different than he usually does but in a good way.

She cashed in a favor he owed her as she knew that he was in that academic club and asked if he could tutor her in some subjects she was having difficulty with. He agreed and scheduled it during one of their class-free periods. 

While Hyunae was working on a problem, Hajun decided to send his father one of the usual text messages about how is day was going. Seeing as his father was not responding, he just placed his phone down at the table.

Hyunae managed to catch a glimpse of his phone and the messages seeing that the person he was contacting was his father.

"Is your dad busy? Kinda looks like your text messaging a ghost." she chuckled.

"If only that was the case." Hajun had explained to her his situation with his father and how he had been putting in effort to contact him but never gets any messages from him.

"Well that , He's missing out on an incredible son like you." she exclaimed grinning to try and put a smile on this man's face but to no avail.

"Yeah, well we can't do anything about that so let's move on to your next problem. So you're next problem is all abo-." Hajun stopped mid-sentence as the heavy raining outside emitted a loud thunderous noise. The rain turning into a thunderous storm with a chorus of lightning strikes flashing around followed by loud crackling thunder.

Hyunae noticed he stopped talking and saw the expression of pure fear on his face. "Hey, what's wrong?" He didn't respond.

It took her a few seconds to register the connection between the loud thunderous crackles and how Hajun would flinch whenever one sounded off. She quickly brought him to a part of the library where the thunder isn't as loud. Hyunae placed his hands over his ears to help reduce the sound.

She crouched down beside him and patted him trying to calm him down to the best of her ability. "It's fine Hajun. The thunders gonna go away soon so just stay put." she said with a reassuring smile. She stayed by his side until the thunder finally stopped and it was all just rain.

"Are you ok now? I learned that patting people on the head helps them calm down from my grandma." she smiled

"Yeah, I'm fine thanks." he reassured her.

"Damn if thunder comes out like that what do you usually do?" she asked.

"I have ear buds in my bag." he admitted.

"Oh sh*t I should've taken those out." she cursed.

"No, it's fine. You didn't know about them." Hajun reassured her.

While still riled up from the sudden surge of emotions, Hajun confessed "I'm really grateful that you still choose to hang out with me even if I don't really have much to offer. I mean I eat a lot and am afraid of loud things and that's about it. Nothing really interesting here."

Initially shocked by the sudden expression of feelings, Hyunae was unable to respond immediately but managed to regain her composure and say "What are you talking about? You're a great person. I don't care about those flaws because they are part of what you  are and can't be helped. Aside from that, you're still someone worth knowing. Don't be so hard on yourself."

She was really proud of him for what he said. This was the first time she had actually heard him talk about how he really feels. What makes it even better is the amount of emotion he had put in articulating those words. Less of a robot, more of a sentient being.

"Then can you promise me something? I really like spending time with you so please don't disappear on me." Hajun uttered. He had grown attached to her and was afraid of what would happen if she were to go away.

Hyunae isn't the best person when it came to being insightful but even she knows this promise was all because of how his father treated him or the lack thereof.

"Where the hell am I gonna disappear to anyways?" she chuckled as she held her hand up as a sign of promise.

Chapter 3 
Panning the camera to a man all the way acroos the world typing at his laptop like a mad man, we go to Hajun's father, Seojun.

Seojun was conducting business as usual, creating forms, responding to his employees, when he just got a message from his assistant with a video link, his assistant urging him to watch it.

The clip showcased students, one of which was his own son, dropping water balloons the students of DAE. The clip had gone viral on social media and his assistant had adviced that this may be bad rep for the company since people know that the two are related.

Instead of calling, he sent his son a text message saying that he'd be going to the country for a short vacation, the time his flight lands and where they would meet.

Hajun was a little excited at this and even prepared a lot for meeting his father. Could this be it? Could this be the moment he had been yearning for his entire life? Lol nope.

When his father arrived, Hajun's sense could already detect that he wasn't in a good mood. They were both driven to their home back in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do.

Seojun spent no time dilly dallying as when they entered their home, he immediately reprimanded his son for the video and how it could ruin not only his reputation but als othe reputation of the company he and his forefathers worked so hard to build.

"You are prohibited from interacting with these people. Once you're done with this year, I'm moving you to America. Focus on your studies and not this shennanigans." Seojun reprimanded.

"No." Hajun exclaimed

"What? What do you mean no?" his father fumed.

"What gives you the right to tell me how to live my life when you weren't even there for me when I needed you. You wouldn't acknowledge my calls, my achievements, can I even call you my father? When I needed a father to guide me, who was there? No one. So you have no right to dictate how I live my life." Hajun growled.

"You can enjoy your temporary stay here but I don't wanna see you for the remainder of that." Hajun stomped out of that house practically in tears. This was the absolute height of his emotional explosion and he doesn't regret a single word said.

And oh how the turn tables. Seojun is now the one trying to contact his son while Hajun ignores every single message and call.

He told Hyunae all about it and to say she was proud on how he handled it was an understatement. Though she is proud of how she handled the situation, she does also tell him that he could still possibly fix things with his father. You know, a little heart to heart. 

Hajun denies that his father would have the time of day to have that and continues to ignore him.

A few days pass and while they were both walking back to the dorm, Hajun spots his father waiting by the entrance practically dozzing off for how long he has probably been waiting.

As Hajun was about to turn to walk away, Hyunae tells him that he should probably talk to him now.

"It's been a few days Hajun. Maybe you can talk to him now." she said nudging him forward.

With a bit of hesitation, he began approaching his father. His primary conclusion was right, Seojun was asleep sitting down.

Hajun tapped on his shoulder to wake him up and so Seojun did.

"Why are you here?" Hajun asked.

"My flight is tomorrow. I didn't want to leave without fixing things with you." Seojun explained.

"Go on." Hajun said waiting to hear what his father was going to say.

"You were right. I wasn't there for you and I should've done so much more to be a father to you. I missed out on so much of your life because I was way too focused on work. I know I could never get those moments back and I wants to apologize for everything I have done. I can't guarantee that I could make trips like this often as my work is very demanding of my time but I will do my very best to at least respond to your calls and message him as often as he can." Seojun apologized.

"I promise that as soon as this last project is finished, I'll step down from my position and place myself in a job that doesn't demand a lot of time from me." he said.

Hajun could only embrace his father after hearing his heartfelt words. Both of them crying into each other's shoulder apologizing for their actions.

Meanwhile, Hyunae in the background, hearing everything with her werewolf sense, is slightly tearing up from all the emotion and drama. "That was so damn beautiful." she muttered under breath.

Hajun said his good byes to his father at the airport and awaits for his return.

Chapter 4
By now you may be asking "Aaron, where the is the romance? Isn't this the love interest section? Where exactly is the 'love' part?"

Well, during the events mentioned above, you'd be happy to hear that feelings were developed between the two. Its just a matter of understanding and accepting these feelings is what comes next.

For Hyunae, she had been the quicker of the two to understand her feelings for guy. Why did she start hanging out with him? Was the reason only for her to reel him in on the pranking business or was it something more? To her, Hajun wasn't just some attractive dude in the campus, no. He was a genuinely good person when she spent her time with him and wanted to know more about him. Her intentions at first were purely for friendship but, through a series of convoluted events, those intentions of friendship blossomed into something even more. She is known for being physically affectionate(skinship) amongst her friends but with him she does it a little bit more than with others. I mean at this point even her friends can see what's going on with her and they fully support it and are just waiting for the moment these two finally get together.

For Hajun, to be honest, it was really difficult for him to comprehend his own feelings for her. He himself grew up without a lot of love in his life so knowing exactly that his feelings for her was actually love was more difficult than solving the hardest math question. It had gone through his head when a fellow student in the academic club mentioned how much time he spent with Chuu and even asked if they were dating. Initially shocked by the student's question, he said that they weren't. "Shame, you two look good together." said the student. That was the little nudge he needed to start thinking about his own feelings for her. He had been grateful that she was the one who broke him out of his shell and that she had helped him immensely with a lot of his insecurities and problems but there were always these feelings he had for her that he couldn't explain. If these feelings weren't gratitude, then what were they?

It was when every thought of her invaded his mind, when physical affection from her made his heart feel like a bomb about to explode at any moment, and when he felt even more confident in himself when she was around did he realize that this was something else. Through a long debate with himself, he concluded that love would be the only answer. When he concluded with that answer, he found himself smiling like an idiot and his heart beating at intense speeds to affirm that his conclusion was correct. But now that he had realized what his feelings were, what was he going to do with it? Was he going to confess immediately? What if she didn't feel the same way? What if this causes her to step away from him? A lot of negative thoughts flooded his mind on what he was supposed to do with his feelings. But before he was fully consumed with pessimism, he thought to himself that he'd be missing all the shots he doesn't take. After all, he isn't the same insecure person he was before, all thanks to her. So after thinking of the best way to deliver his feelings to her, he finally set a date on when he was going to do it. His anxious self constantly battling with his newly formed confident side as the date gets closer.

[interactions] 
-At first, they didn't really interact a lot since they weren't close back then. They just knew each other existed and that was about it.
-When Hyunae started joining him for lunch, she'd blabber to him all about everything like she is an open book holds no bars just goes all out to which Hajun would continue with his meal and listen to all her rants.

-At first he doesn't interject nor does he say anything about it but after spending a lot of time with her, he opened up more and started interjecting with her stories, telling her what he thought, asking questions, and generally being more interactive within the conversation.
-Hyunae was the one pushing and unlocking all his hidden emotions as well as helping him be better at socializing so he doesn't look or feel like an empty shell of a person.
-Hyunae, the very physically affectionate one, was wary of skinship with him since she didn't know him that much and didn't know how he would react if she did.

-Eventually when they became closer, she would start leaning on him, back hugging, side hugging, all the hugs tbh and became just more physically affectionate.

-Hajun, even before discovering his feelings for her, would have his heart beat like it was gonna pop out of his chest. He'd freeze because he didn't know how to reciprocate what he was experiencing.

-After confessing, he'd still have some trouble with skinship but eventually would get used to it and enjoy every moment they'd be close to each other.-They aren't glued to each other though, both pre and post relationship. They give each other space and usually meet only during lunch and when Hyunae invites him for either pranks or maybe to do something fun with her friends.
-While he progresses in expressing more of his emotions, he'd show some signs of it with her like being worried whenever she were to talk to him about a high-stakes prank she was gonna do with the gang asking "Are you gonna be alright?" to which she'd say "Look whose finally getting worried. I've got this. If it fails, I can run anyways."
-Literally just have fun writing out how a guy who had just started understanding and expressing his emotions would fall in love with her. Am thinking of a lot of fluffy moments between the two and some heartwarming scenes too lmao.

When the time came, he poured out exactly what he had been keeping in his heart all this time while Hyunae stood there doing her best to contain her excitement. Finishing his confession, he awaited her response. "Took you long enough. I swear if you took longer, I might have been the one in your position confessing to you right now." she said as if she had already known that he had grown feelings for as well. p.s. she wasn't really sure but had some suspicion that he did based on how he acted when he was around her. Not quite sure what that meant, he shot her a little confused look in which she finally said "That means I like you too idiot." immediately wrapping her arms around him and Hajun doing the same.

With the two finally expressing their feelings towards each other through the confession, they begin this new journey of love together hand in hand with the same promise of not disappearing from one another.

Pre-confession
-Joining him while during lunch.

-She'd try to get a munch on some of his food but he'd tell her to stop since he brought just enough for a portion of his required amount.

-Sometimes she'd even bring some more food for him while they eat lunch, to which he is grateful for but, this was before he was good at expressing his emotions so a little thank you was all she got.

-Literally Hyunae being the fiercest bodyguard. "You wanna go b*tch!"

-Kinda funny how Hajun is literally stronger than Hyunae but she's the one protecting him.


Post-confession

-Hajun is very awkward with the romance as he has no idea what he should be doing in a relationship.

-You already know that Hajun would get her some expensive sh*t and she'd either scold him saying he didn't need to splurge just for her and to save that money for food or thank him.
-She goes grocery shopping with him just so he doesn't look like a hoarder of food. She'd take the two full carts while he takes the one.

-She's still trying to get it into his head that grocery shopping for 3 full carts of food isn't something to be ashamed of.

-Will they go to the same college if ever Daeghoul Fright Academy doesn't expand to a university? Well, the thing is, Hyunae would be the only one going to College. Hajun's still got his idol thing going on so he'd stop his education by then.

-How frequent will they go out on dates? Once a week on weekends would be optimal but if ever they have more time, they might spend another day or two.

-Expect rich as hell fancy dates that make us commoners feel so poor.
