— Seolbin has long dark brown hair, pale skin and a sharp nose. Forthe most part her teeth are straight and they are very white. She is thin and works very hard to keep her figure. She doesnt have any tattoos or scars. She has worked very hard to have perfect posture, even when walkinging heels.

— Seolbin has a very basic fashion sense. She does make sure her colthing looks nice but she doesnt spend time or money making sure she looks , she has more importat things to do. She usually just wears a basic, plain shirt and shorts or pants. Her dancing clothes is a pair of sweatpants and another plain shirt. Most of her wardrobe is pastels and whites

Seolbin is the kindest, most compationate person you will ever meet. Her entinre aura is all about kindness, acceptance and love. It is hard to be around her and be in a sour mood, she is just good at making people happy. She speaks softly and treats people softly. She hardly ever raises her voice, walks softly and never gets angry. She should have been a teacher with how good she is at helping people and taking her time with them.She never tries to rush people and is always encuraging them to do their best. Seolbin will sit and help the other trainees until they can get what ever they are working towards. 
People tend to walk all over Seolbin. She is a soft, kind person who doesnt stand up to people so it's easy for people to take advantage of her and it happens often. She will beat herself up for not getting dances or songs down the first try. She expect more of herself than she ever would of others and often the others can see that. She is just a quiet person, she often gets left out because she doesn't speak up. Sometimes the leader will have to remind them that she is there. She has been left behind more than once but she doesn't complain, just start walking back. People often think she is cold from a distance because she just donesn't speak up about herself. She isnt actuall a cold person, people just dont see her warm personality come through when they dont know her, she doesnt always try her hardest to try to get to know new people. 

background. As long as she can remember Seolbin has wanted to be a singer. There a videos of her as a small child using hairbrushes or spoons as microphones and singing along to any music that was on. Her parents always encuraged her to continue and to make sure that she never gave up. 
She had her first singing lession when she was eleven and even her teacher was impressed with the dirve in the young girl. She spent half the day at school and the other half training with her vocal coach, she didn't mind it, she wanted to be a singer anyhow. 
On her thirteenth birthday her parents suprised her by taking her into Seoul to take her to an audition for SM Entertainment. She was accepted almost instantly and was able to start training a few days later.

Ever since Jinki met Seolbin he liked her. He took her under his wing and has been acting like her older brother now. People often mistake them as siblings they act like it so often.

Seolbin and her mother are incredibly close. They talk all the time and she is Seolbin's biggest fan, she knows all the girls, often makes them food to bring by the dorm and is known for going to fan signings.

Seolbin demands that Keiko helps her learn and practice Japanese. The younger didn't want to at first but Seolbin kept pushing her to help and even tually Keiko got frustrated with Seolbin's terrible pronounciation that she just started helping.

trainee life.

— 2007- 
When Seolbin stared training she felt strange. She didnt feel any connection with anyone there but she wanted to. It took three weeks of being there before someone even asked her name. One of the bolder boys, Jinki, stopped one day to see how she was doing and how she liked training. She felt a connection to him right away and would always greet him when she would see him in the halls. When the other trainees saw him talking to her they also started talking to her. 
During the first year of training Seolbin was still attending school and she was constantly on the run. She asked her parents if she could take her high school graduation test and be done with school. They were in total support of her, what ever she wanted to do. She took it the end of the school year and just barely passed but she did pass. 
2008-
When SHINee debut Seolbin made sure that she was there and that she got to be in the front row, she knew all five of them and wanted to support them. She hoped they would notice her but she was just another face in the crowd, she understood totally. 
Some of the other trainees started picking on Seoulbin for being a megafan but she didnt mind, she would joke along with them. She did spend her extra tim elearning all of the SHINee dances. 
2009-
When rumors were circulating around that a new girl group was going to form everyone was buzzing. Seolbin didn't expect to be brought in with another group of girls but she was there with five others. They started training together and learning their song but Seolbin had to drop out. 
Her family found out that her father was in stage 4 colon cancer and she dropped everything to go be with him. She was told that if she didnt come back that she wouldn't be able to debut and she said that was fine, she was not going to miss the last few days of her father being around for anything. SM was angry and almost made her leave the company but in the end she was allowed to remain as a trainee when she came back. 
She ended up taking a 9 month break, only coming back over a month after the funeral but her father made her promise that she wouldn't stop training, not for anything. She had to debut and make it big. 
2010-
Seolbin threw herself into training, she only wanted to focus on that and nothing else, that way she didn't have to think about her father being gone. 
2011- 
Finally, Seolbin got back into SM's good graces. She was selected for a position as a backup dancer for SHINee and she jumped on the chance. She spent months with the group practicing and dancing with them.
2012- 
Seolbin can admit that she got swept up in the EXO craze. She loved that she got to interact with most of them all the time but she was still more of a SHINee fan than EXO. 
2013-
In order to make herself seem like a better candidate she started learning English. She started watching all kinds of American and British tv shows and streaming podcasts in English while she was working out. She would force English speaking trainees to talk to her in only English to force her to speak English too. 
2014- 
Seolbin honeslty started getting bored with English. She kept watching the same things and wanted something new. She knew that SM was starting to do more with China so Manderine was next on her list. For some reason she took to Manderine easier than English. She did the same thing, made Chinese trainees speak to her and make her speak Manderine. 
2015- 
Seolbin's Manderine started getting better and better. There was plenty of people around for her to speak to and she spent a good amount of her time not speaking any Korean at all. She even caught herself speaking it at home with her mother. 
It took years but Sheolbin's mother was finally ready to leave their home and find a new place. She wanted to move to Jeju and activly helped Seolbin find a good apartment that was close to the building for training. She moved in, got a cat but refused to let it mess with her training. 
2016-
Seolbin set a new schedule for herself. She would wake early, 430 am, and start her day. She spent over and hour at the gym befor going into train at 7 am. She got short naps on the bus heading into town and back home so through out the day she got sufficient sleep. She would train until aroudn 2 pm when she would take a break and study Manderine. Often this is when she would eat as well, she was on the sweet potato diet, only eating sweet potatoes and nothing else, she had to keep her figure. Days when she was really tired she cold get a nap in this time too. She would always go back to train by 5 pm and continue to train until around 9 pm, some times later. She slept on the bus on the way home, got home around 1030, showered ate and gave Tomato some attention before going to be by 11. 
Seolbin started working with f(x) on their comeback as a back up dancer. She and Victoria had been friends before debut and the two of them started becoming friends again. She was still one of their backup dancers when they went on hiatus 
2017- 
Seolbin dabbled with making her own music. She wrote a few songs and started rehersing them. She would record them on her phone and uploaded a few online but didn't get much attention. She didnt stop putting down lyrics and some of hers even ended up being some of TCG's songs. 
She wanted to start learning something more but she didn't know what. She ended up deciding on learning Japanese. Out of all the language she started to learn this was the hardest and the most slow going. 
2018- 
Once in her training period Seolbin doubted herself. She vocalised her frustrations to her mother and her mother reminded her of the promise she made to her dad, that she wasn't going to quit ever, it didn't matter how long it took, she would end up debuting, she couldnt quit. 
2019- 
Seolbin was brought together with a group of girls for a second time, some of which had already debut. They were told to start prepairing for TCG's next comeback and that there would be more members this time, Seolbin included.

how do you feel about debuting?

— I am so excited, I've been wanting this for years. It wasmy fathers final wish that I get to be on stage and now he can look down and see me there

what do you want to achieve with tcg?

— I want someone who has a dream like me will be able to become an idol and get to their dream

Do you have any personal goals as well?

— I just want to make my father proud

what do you think about the group's concept?

— It's interesting, I dont fully understand why they cant be set members but it works so far

how are you going to survive living with a bunch of other girls?

— I'm not sure, I've only ever lived with my family or myself so we will see how it goes

what do you think about nct? do you get along with your counterpart?

— I havn't had a lot of interaction with them, most of them seem so young... I don't think I would have any problems with them
