on june 23, eighteen years ago, after 9 long hours in labor, a young greek-korean girl was born in seoul, south korea. she was born to a korean mother, lim hayoon, and greek-korean father, han alec. it wasn't long after her birth that she was named, and that alone had been a struggle for months. but once she was there, in her mother's arms, she knew the perfect name.
aero.
but alas, not long after aero was born another one arrived, her brother ares. the rascal he was (and still is) made aero quake in her expensive little booties. she was perfectly content for a year until he was born. although aero claimed to hate her little brother, she actually loved him... surprisingly. and a whole year later, another girl came home, aero's baby sister aune. they were a happy family, at least for a few years.
she learned joy.
aero's father, alec, started focusing more on his fashion brand, the one he formed years before her birth. HANALEC was still small, only known in korea. he would be in his home studio all day, he'd leave home for days at a time, and would hardly ever see his kids. when he would, he would be irritable and would only criticize his family.
she learned pain.
aero started school at the most expensive primary school in seoul, the yeong gwang private primary school, thanks to her father's wealth. she grew up in the yeong gwang schools, going to the elementary as well. he only sent her because he wanted to show off the growth of his brand. in school aero did well, excelling in most of her subjects; she wanted to show her father that she was worthy, but according to her father, that wasn't good enough. she needed to do a billion times better if she was going to become the head of alec's business.

aero worked harder through elementary school, coming in 2nd in her class. her father was finally proud of her, her siblings both to follow. she found that working hours on end to study all of her material was the way she would rise in ranking. she would rewrite her notes over and over until the information stuck, or at least until the muscle memory sunk in.

HANALEC is a luxury fashion brand formed in 1995 by designer han alec and wife lim hayoon. the brand produces clothing, denim, eyewear, accessories, and handbags. the brand is geared towards fashionable men and women no matter the age, creating timeless yet modern pieces for anyone. throughout the past 30 years of the brand, they've lead the korean style scene by starting trends and always making new innovations.
on the 15th birthday of designer han alec's eldest daughter, aero, the fashion brand announced the subsudiary HANAERO, a brand that would focus more on young adult and adolescent fashion that is based on han aero's personal fashion sense. with the creation of HANAERO, aero was placed in the position of ceo of the subsidiary, her parents as as major members of the board of directors. she, along with her father, design and curate the brand's style, which is often seen in high-fashion magazines and on celebrities.
the following year, on the 15th birthday of han alec's only son, han ares, the subsidiary HANARES was opened. the brand's focus is young and adolescent men, based off ares's personal style. he too is the ceo of his subsidiary with his parents as major members of the board of directors. along with the help of his father, he designs the brand's clothing and maintains a certain style, one that is seen on the runway and on the stage.
finally, a year later, on the 15th birthday of han alec's youngest daughter and child, han aune, the subsidiary HANAUNE was formed. aune's focus was the adolescent fashion of young girls, wanting to give more fashionable options to younger children while still catering to her own fashion style. like the brands of her older siblings, she is the ceo and her parents are the main members of the board of directors. PERSONALITY kiyeon has the personality of a puppy in almost every way. she's always excited, being the happier of the pair. she has a somewhat short attention span, especially short when she's excited, and tends to lose her train of thought. kiyeon is extremely loyal to her family and close friends, and extremely supporting of them as well. however, kiyeon tends to be loud, she doesn't really know how to control her volume all of the time, so aero tends to have to shush her, especially in class. kiyeon also tends to be overbearing and clingy, following aero around as if she were literally a lost puppy.
LOVE STORY aero and kiyeon first meet in middle school at yeong gwang. it was kiyeon had come to this school at the start of the first middle school year, and immediately took a liking to aero. kiyeon soon became close friends as aero didn't have many other friends and kiyeon seemed as if she wasn't ever going to leave. the two stay close friends all throughout high school, and eventually kiyeon develops a crush on aero, to which she is completely oblivious. they remain good friends and hang out almost constantly outside of school, kiyeon even being around while aero is working for her brand.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS kiyeon has a huge crush on aero, while aero is completely unaware.
INTERACTIONS they act as any best friends do, save for kiyeon being somewhat overbearing. around other friends and in school, they act as they normally do. kiyeon tries to hide her feelings for aero around others, and only is very flirty when she is alone with aero. when aero is working, kiyeon tends to stay quietly by her side and provide support, such as fetching water and being a shoulder to lean on in stressful times.

(from here, the rest is up to you, but i have 2 proposed scenarios that i cant decide between. either:

INTERACTIONS the two really only see each other these days when aero is at eunjoo's house, which is becoming more rare with the increading popularity of aero's brand. whenever they do see each other, they tend to stick close together, sitting next to each other for movies and typically sharing a bag of popcorn between themselves. it's a weird friendship, where they're physically close, but emotionally know very little about each other, but they're learning about each other slowly as they have small conversations while they're together. they just seem like really close friends, and a few people can see what's happening between the lines.
ENDING so the ending here depends on the ending with kiyeon. if aero chooses kiyeon, eunhyuk moves on from aero and they stay good but distant friends. if aero rejects kiyeon, the two end up together and living in the united states. despite aero's feelings for kiyeon, she eventually gets over the other girl and falls in love with eunhyuk, the two eventually marrying and eunjoo becomes aero's sister in law.

COMMENTS ahaha, this took like 6 years to finish. some fun notes right quick tho: okay so im kinda crazy and i planned out her entire day by timestamps so i kinda just placed classes wherever i thought they would work and i also made an a/b/c day system so if yall wanna ignore that section please do lmao. i am well aware that the fc i used for aune (yuju form cherry bullet), aero's younger sister, is a 97 liner and older than kim lip, but it's the closest "sibling" i could find visually so deal with it lmao. also, i didn't put many relationships for aero because she's kinda anti-social, but she hangs out with kiyeon constantly and kiyeon is friends with everyone, so that's how she meets and interacts with the rest of the class, other than eunjoo. if the authors wanna give her more friends for herself, be my guest, but to fit with the character, they shouldn't be all that close starting out! i really couldnt decide what ending to give aero and kiyeon because they both have their pros and cons and drama to throw into the story so the writers can really take the liberty to choose, i'll be happy with pretty much anything yall do :) also i personally took the meaning of love rival as someone who wanted to keep you from being with your love interest, so eunhyuk is interested in aero, not kiyeon. does that make sense ? i hope lmao. i also don't know much about eunhyuk so i just filled in his stuff from aero's perspective and feel free to correct me on anything i got wrong.
