PERSONALITY: 
+: Jangmi was raised to be a go-getter. She didn't come from a well-off family, so if she wanted something she had to work hard for it, no matter how tired she would get, she always pushes forward. Whatever she does, she does it with a hundred percent of effort and genuine feelings, nothing more and nothing less of perfection. Despite, Jangmi having an intimidating look, she does exude a calm demeanour. She was never one to say much and has always been a person to believe that actions speak louder than words. She also doesn't like to stress on things, because having too many negative feelings, will give negative results. Some people can't live a life without troubles and Jangmi was one of those people. Of course, back in the 90s, to make hateful comments towards an idol would take a LOT more work cause we all know connecting to the internet wasn't as great as today. So, Jangmi would get hateful comments in person or other indirect ways such as hearing booing in the crowd or hate mail that was sent to her company building. However, Jangmi has no time for that BS, so if the boos were getting louder she would just smile brighter and hate mail meet the recycling bin (cause we still care about the worlds), she just didn't care because she knows she's smart to not let negative feelings from others affect her. Also, onstage, she does become charismatic. Due to her confidence in stage presence, she does make herself shine on stage. Also because she's a rapper, in a girl group, from the 90s, she didn't have many lines, so when she does have a solo part to rap, you believe that you'll remember her parts.

-: The downside of Yoon Jangmi is that she can be a stubborn lady. *cough* stan Yubin *cough*. Once she had her mind set on something it's hard for her to rethink twice about the other options she had. There was one instance where she was training and when the others were telling her to take a break, she refused and kept practising to the point where she accidentally twisted her ankle and had to be off from performing for a couple of weeks. Being confident can come with a downside such as Jangmi can be haughty. She does have an arrogant air to her because she believes that she works harder than most people and because of that, she does act a bit arrogant. Despite, Jangmi being an averagely calm person when she does get angry or annoyed, she does let people know. She's not afraid to get up in someone's face to defend herself and/or her friends and family. Plus, yelling is not something that she does a lot, but she is also no stranger to it at all. It does take some time for her to calm down as well and she doesn't like to be comforted when she's in such a sensitive state. She calms herself down by just isolating herself in her room or takes a walk by herself. Also, Jangmi is also very critical of herself and even other people around her. Such as if they're rehearsing and she sees a member slacking she would most call them out (ex. Hanbin from IKon) and tells the group to start over again. But she would always back it up by saying that she's only doing this to better the team.

=: Jangmi doesn't really think logical on the logical side. She's someone who would always listen to her gut feeling instead of her brain. Because you can always think you're wrong, but having the feeling of regret right in the pit of your stomach is harder to deal with than a minor headache. However, due to not thinking rationally there can be some consequences. Which will be explained later in her story. Jangmi is also an honest person, and she doesn't like to sugarcoat things with her words. She'd rather be totally upront blunt about it because that's the best way to get your message to the person you're talking to. She also depends on her self a lot due to being an only child and didn't want to bother her fther who would be busy working. So she learnt how to do things on her such as walk to school, cooking for herself and her father and learning how to do trigonomotry. When she was trainee her being dependednt on herself paid off in the ending, thus she got to debut with Angel, but in the beginning of their career, Jangmi would be often seen as cold. However, because she's used to doing things by herself it was hard for her to open up, but gradually she learn how to open to her memebers.
 

YOON JANGMI'S BACKGROUND: Jangmi was born in Busan in 1980 and was raised by her father after her parents divroced when she was five years old. Jangmi's father worked at food tent near the beach and she would help him out whenever she can. To pass some time helping out her father, she woul watch the box television that was in the corner of the tent. When the day dramas were done airing and there weren't much customer's Jangmi would change the channel to Music Camp to watch her favourite idols. She wasn't interested into pop, but she tended to lean on the hip-hop side of the charts. Her favourite group was Deux. She bought all the CD's she can and would always listen to them on her portable walkman. Her father, wasn't the type to disregard the music his daughter was listening to because he never heard it before, but he would rather listen and try to understand why his daughter liked it so much. Jangmi would even teach him some of the dance moves, but they would always laught at how silly he looked.

Before Jangmi had a love for hip-hop, she was a tad introverted in school and would only speak when she had group work or when the teacher wanted her to answer the question. However, when she started to play her CD's on her walkman, she attracted some of her classmates who shared the common love for music. However, she didn't attend school scotch free, she did get teased by some of her peers, mostly female, due to her dark tanned skin. Jangmi paid no attention to them, because it's the skin that she's in that she gets from her father, who always told her she's beautiful no matter what. Yet, becase she cooly brushed them off, she would often get called cold and rude. But you can't win every battle.

Jangmi started to dream to become an idol after she started learning poetry and rapping along with the lyrics from her favourite groups. She also noticed that there were not a lot of female hip-hop artists and she wanted to be one of the first ones. Her father supported her dreams as long as she finished her schooling while balancing chasing her dreams.

In 1995, she auditioned at BY Entertainment by performing her favourite song, Deux's "Turn Me Back" and after a week of waiting for a call back she got accepted. Her trainee was hard, and she describes that time one of the hardest period of her life. Because as we all know that the trainee process is havry hinderous to one's health emotionally, mentally, and physically. She struggled the most with her appearence, Jangmi stood out a lot because of her skin colour and for the first time she felt concious about her looks. When the company was planning to launch their first girl group, Angel, Jangmi was not a trainee that was on their mind due to her strong aura. However, she knew that she can't be the visual member of the group, she can still be one of the talented ones. She tried her best to fit the image they were looking for, but to also not stray away from who she is. Such as during evaluations she would do girl group songs, but she would wear comfortable clothing that wasn't considered feminine, but still managed to look cute with her facial expressions and dancing. Jangmi's hard work paid off, and she was able to debut as a member of Angel.

When Jangmi was active as an Angel member, she stood out because of her dark skin and deep voice that was heard much from females. Yet, despite some fans saying that she doesn't fit the group, her fans would say that she brings something new. Her dark skin would be considered something that made her seem more ier than her members and those comments gave Jangmi a confident boost. Plus her deep voice could sound off putting to some netizens, but others found it charming and unique. All in all, during her Angel period you could love to hate her or hate to love her or just love to love her. 
 

PARK GIDO'S BACKGROUND: Park Gido was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea to a family that consisted of both parents and an older brother. You could say that Gido lived a well off life considering she attended private schools through elementary and high school. However, despite Gido benefitting of continuing to a higher education and landing a good job, she decided to become an idol after being a fan of Jay Park and Zico. Her parents didn't immediately take a liking to Gido's career decision they slowly, but surely accepted her dreams. She got picked up by BY Ent. when she auditioned for SMTM4 and recieved attention for her innocent looks, but her deep voice that contrasted her appearence. After the show she recieved an offer to become a trainee at BY Entertainment and acceptted. She has been training for 4 years. 

When Jangmi suddenly woke up in Gido's body she was nonetheless dumbfounded and could only remember the car crash before blacking out. When she got out of bed and saw her reflection in the mirror she was shocked, but did not scream. However when she saw Gido's brother tell her to get up she was shocked. Then she saw the family pictures in the house and made the assumption that she's this Gido girl. She felt happy that she had a complete family, but is soon disappointed to see how uninvolved her parents was, but was happy to know she has a sibling. Also she heard the former name Angel on the TV because it was the anniversay of the accident, she was relieved to know that they weren't forgotten. However, remembering her old life such as her group members, father, and her love interest, she knew she needed to come back. As much as other people would kill to have a second chance at life, she already had her time and this isn't it chief.

Lee Hyori / 39 / Idol

Despite the spotlight gravitated towards Angel and SES, Finkl has always bely en threre and slowly rose to the top. Ecspecially after the accident of 2000 with Angel. However before that, Lee Hyori and Jangmi got to know each other behind the scenes of music shows. Despite Hyori being older than Jangmi the two got along greatly. Hyori had said before that she has a lot of mood swings and Jangmi was one who consistently stays calm and that she was a good person to be around. After she heard about the accident, she was deeply affected because she lost a good friend

Former Angel Member

Julia KIm / 23 (time of the accident) / idol.

These girls did not get along well at first. Both of them were alpha females and did not shy away from confrontation. However, they saw their similarities with each other and bonded over that. Such as they have similar personalities, they didn't care about their appearence in the public eye. When there was arguments with the company on Julia's bluntness, Jangmi defended her because she was already charming. When Jangmi got critized for her dark Jangmi encouraged her that it was what makes her attractive and unique. They both aren't on the affectionate side, but their friendship did show in kind, encouraging words and a simple nod of encouragement and respect to one another. However when the Angel members were thinking about disbandment, there was a riff between their friendship that caused them to be on the rocks right now.

Bang Youngsik / 45 / Creative Director @ By Entertainment

Youngsik is a kind man that likes to help others. Thus, he created BY Entertainment to help others pursue their dreams. Youngsik remembers fondly of the Angel girls because they were his first group, and you could just imagine the pain he felt when they were about to disband and then the accident happens. Yet, he remembers Jangmi. He was one of the people who disregarded Jangmi when selecting which members to debut as Angel. However, he saw the effort she made and respected her confidence and embracing her uniqueness. When Jangmi saw him again, she could see how he aged and despite not being the CEO anymore he is still involved with the artists and continues to help him despite his new position. She has no other feelings other and respect and gratitude to see how his company came to be.

Father.

Yoon Jongmin / 45 / Food tent owner/runner

Her father is the one Jangmi would describe as the person who means the most to her due to her dad raised her on his own. He tried to be involved as he could when he was raising Jangmi such as helping her with schoolwork or mking her lunch. Her father was also very supporting of her dreams to become an idol and you can bet that when Angel had their debut stage he didn't care what drama was on and who was watching he changed the channel to cheer her on and her group members.

Cindy Min / 21 / Trainee.

Turns out Gido is not always likeable. Cindy and Gido were both the top picks for Gemini's main rapper position. Cindy trained longer for a total of six years, and she thought that she would be a shoe-in for the position. However, against all odds the company decided to choose Gido to debut because the public already had a general knowledge of her and will help generate attention for Gemini's debut. Cindy did not sit well in that position, and she makes her jealousy known. When Gido runs in Cindy, she would tell her that she's not good enough. However the old Gido would just tolerate it because she's too scared of confrontation. Jangmi is not one to back down from such words and is trying to show an improved Gido by being more confident onstage and by telling Cindy what's good. 

Older brother.

Park Giyoung/ 25 / College student

Gido and Giyoung have a really healthy relationship with each other. You could say that they were close and depended on each other most of the time. Both of their parents were always busy with work so they were together most of the time. When Gido was younger she was doted on her brother such as he would buy her food when she was younger, walk together in school, help with homework, etc. Jangmi is not used to have someone who is willing to do things for her on hand, it even made her feel uncomfortable at first because she is used to having things done by herself. Giyoung can see that Gido is acting off these days, but thinks it's the upcoming debut of Gemini is causing her stress

Despite Gido's parents accepting their daughter's dream, they are not whole heartedly involved. Even when Gido told them that she was going to debut, they simply congratulated her and when back to work. Jangmi is not used to this cold shoulder from her parents, even despite her father working most of the time, he still made time for her and let her know that he is proud of her. This family relationship with them, makes her want to go back even more

+: Hyunjae is a gentleman and is very courtious around people and is what most people comment as his best point. When he was together with Jangmi of course he had to patient because it takes time to form a relationship in general. Of course, they were both celebrities and to wait to announce their relationship to go public, this requires a good amount of patience. He also understands that he isn't the only person in the world and that the univers doesn't revolve around him. Therefore he takes into consideration of what others think and their feelings. When he does work he gets very charismatic, because he's doing what he loves and thrives off of praise that he gets from viewers and fans.

-: When Hyunjae is by himself he tends to be very quiet and keeps things to himself which causes him to become aloof. He doesn't interact much with others that he doesn't work with, so most of his friends are his colleagues. But when he hears negative comments he does get hurt and is adament about them. He works hard and crumbles from pressure from being under negative comments. He acts on impulse most times based on his situations. Such as defending a friend or work. Also after Angel's car crash, he started to become vulnerable. Which works together with being aloof. He doesn't want to become to close with anybody because losing someone who is close to you is one of the worst feeliings to live with.

STORY: Hyunjae and Jangmi met each other on the show, A Match Made in Heaven. Hyunjae is on the shy side so he was a bit uncomfortable being on a dating show that was televised. He didn't have a lot of presence as the other guy, but Jangmi being the boss lady that she is, she made the first move. She could tell that Hyunjae was uncomfortable so when she wanted to become partners with him, she told him that they shouldn't think of this as a date, but more as hanging out with friends. That made Hyunjae warm-up to her and during the show it was evident that they grew the closest amongst the others. After the show ended, more so their episode, they exchanged contacts with each other, (without their managers knowing).

Rather than flirting with each other off the bat, they exchanged friendly banter, bonded on their shared love of manga. As they continue to talk, Jangmi started to grow feelinsg. Not one to stray away from what she feels, Jangmi was the one who confessed first, and obviously Hyunjae reciprocated them. Thus, they started to date secretly. They had a pet name they calll each other such as he would call her tteok and she would call him ttabong, because he always gives thumbs up.

The managed to hide their relationship under the noses of their company by having overlapping schedules and secret meetings with each other away from the actual city. For three years they kept their relationship study and because 1st generation idols didn't have long contracts they were both thinking about leaving the industry to be together. So when Angel was discussing their disbandment, Jangmi made it known that she wanted to leave and revealed she had a boyfriend. Both Hyunjae and Jang were both anticipating Angel's press conference to finally be a normal couple, however the crash happened.

Hyunjae was deeply affected because they did love one another and had so much plans. However he had to push through with his life. Rather than retiring from the whole industry he became a well-known actor. Yet, he still misses Jangmi and would often mention Angel as his favourite group in interviews. Of course, when asked about his relationship status, he explained that he's not looking for one because he doesn't want to get hurt in case it doesn't work out.

With Jangmi playing life as Gido of course when she meets Hyunjae there is no recollection of who she was. I feel like they might on a variety show or acting together in a drama and he notices some of her similarities such as the leg shaking, the way she walks, but he started to really think when she wanted to tell him a good job was when she called him ttabong which he found stranged because it's an old phrase and he thought of Jangmi when he said that.
