ANOTHER SHAMELESS THING TO DO

This is part two of the shameless plugging of my story, "Breathing Easy". Again, it's a Monsta X x Red Velvet (MonstaVelvet) fanfiction with Seulgi, Wonho, Kihyun, and Minhyuk as the main characters. It's going to be an LGBT story, and I'll try to stick with realities as much as possible. I'm actually basing it on my life, and the lives of people that I know. I want to give justice to the struggles of women and the LGBT.

Technically, there are two chapters that have been uploaded, but they're both Chapter 1 that's split in two so it won't be dragging for the readers. I'm the kind of writer who wants things organized, so I created an outline for this story. I will stick to it unless, of course, a new idea possesses me. To tell you the truth, I'm also working on a different story (but I'm still at the conceptualizing part) which will be a GOT7 fan fiction with JB as the main character.

So, umm, hit me up. Check it out. Leave me a feedback. Throw your constructive criticisms at me. I'd really appreciate it.

Here's the synopsis:

No one could have predicted what would happen when Minhyuk started an unexpected livestream on Facebook. The beginning of the video showed Minhyuk holding a bond paper that had three sentences in the middle written with a bold, red marker. His eyes were glassy and he had the widest smile on his face. He had less than 30 viewers, but they increased with every few seconds that passed.

The world is cruel and it discriminates. It scorns and it is damning. It is bleak and it is sad.

They were all equally curious about what the video would be about. Some were surprised with the paradox between the message on his hands and the way he looked. A few remained skeptical and thought that it might be another one of those schemes to gain attention for an organization's event.

It was officially the start of the semestral break. The holidays would soon be kicking in and everyone was distracted with planning their three weeks' worth of vacation. Since the deadline of requirements for all the colleges in Polaris University was a couple of days ago, it was normal for the students to skip classes. The usual tumultuous crowds in the halls of every building had thinned down to two types: the nerds and the delinquents. Even the professors wouldn't take it against the students if they took an early leave, because they themselves already had. So if the generally unknown gay student who was a no-show decided to pop out online like a jack-in-a-box, nobody would think too much about it.

They all waited for him to say something and ten seconds had passed but he was as still as a caricature of Pieta. Once he began receiving angry reactions, he flipped the paper he was holding to a different statement.

I am tired and humiliated. I want all of this to end.

And know that it is your fault for condoning violence.

Everyone became alarmed when they were suddenly gripped by the seriousness of the situation. It was then that they saw clearly the dark circles under his eyes and the sad determination in them. He was flooded with simultaneous messages from various people. A minute into the video, with Seulgi, Wonho, Kihyun, and the rest of the world helplessly watching, Minhyuk stood up and climbed to the banister

The livestream ran for exactly five minutes and 31 seconds with Minhyuk's lower body flailing like a paper doll. Someone must have called the emergency hotline because an ambulance could be heard distinctly in the background, and their screens turned to black, leaving them stupefied. They all wanted to believe that no one could have predicted what happened. No one could have known that he would commit suicide by hanging himself. Except, when it ended, they were left with the impression that they were all responsible, somehow.
