appearance For her appearance, she first started off with dark brown hair but doesn't mind dying her hair different colors. In fact, she prefers to dye it a little bit more on the lighter side and always loves to add texture to her hair. Her hair is naturally straight, but she usually either styles it in lazy waves or styles it in a bun or double french braid because she doesn't like having her hair in her face. Most of the time you'll see her in comfy but stylish clothes because she's always active in dance or working part-time somewhere, but cares about how she looks. Eunjae also has a tattoo of a small lotus flower in the small area behind her left ear. It's a reminder that even when all odds are against her, she'll be able to rise and bloom again. Both of her ears are pierced with three on each lobe plus a helix piercing on her right ear. Due to dancing most of her life as well, her body is pretty toned and she takes pride in her toned stomach where you can lightly see the outlines of her abs.
fashion She loves street fashion. Leggings and shorts are her favorite things to wear because of how comfortable they are. Her closet usually consists of black, white, grey, and burgundy clothing. The only colorful articles of clothing she owns are her oversized graphic tees, windbreakers, or crewnecks. Every day she wears jerseys of any kind (basketball, hockey, football, etc), crop tops, flannels w/sports bras, or loose v-necks. On a day to day basis, she'll always be seen with a pair of Nikes, Adidas, or whatever is the latest popular shoe out on the market. Her go-to accessories are her collection of snapbacks, dad hats, beanies, and bucket hats. Eunjae also tends to wear a lot of hoodies besides her windbreakers and crewnecks because it's perfect for the weather and comfortable. When she's out buying clothes, she also won't hesitate to buy from the guy section of the store if she sees something she likes or knows she can pull it off. Has a soft spot for getting to dress up once in a while due to the fact that she's always dressed to be comfortable and able to dance in 24/7. Heels and makeup are her lowkey weakness. Since she also wears glasses, she doesn't mind wearing them out but prefers to wear her contacts most of the time. She also doesn't mind experimenting with different colored contacts from time to time as well.

"Life is too short anyways, might as well enjoy everything that comes along right?"

{ optimistic, humble, passionate, mature }

- It's been a long day at the cafe with back to back customers due to students piling in trying to either relax from or focus in on exams. She sighed to herself as she made her way to the back. As a newbie on the crew, Eunjae was assigned with the menial tasks of cleaning up the cafe and leftover dishes. 'I didn't expect there to be this much leftover.' she thought to herself as she scratched the back of her head and eyed the huge leftover mess of cups and plates. As she tied her hair up and began to wash the dishes, Eunjae mutters to herself, "It's the last stretch, you got this. The bests are waiting for you back at the apartment with a glass of wine waiting for you." With that small positive thought, she began humming to herself and got to work.

- "Thank you so much for coming tonight!" Eunjae said as she smiled back at her dance students, wrapping up the weekly hip-hop class she teaches on the side. She walked to her corner by the speaker and began to gather her things. A student tapped her shoulder and Eunjae smiled at the teenager. "Yes, Minhyuk?" "Noona! You're so good at dancing, you should be up there with the pros, not here in a small studio." She laughed and ruffled his hair. "I still got a long way to go kiddo, but I appreciate the compliment. Maybe in a few years, I will be, but let's just see how things go alright? Then again, it's moments like this that remind me why I love doing what I do."

- "Do you ever stop moving?" Eunjae paused midstep of trying to choreograph behind the counter and sheepishly smiled at the manager. "Uh...no...?" The younger girl chuckles and leans against the counter. "I love to dance. It's been with me for as long as I can remember." Her eyes softened as memories flooded her mind and she turned back towards her manager. "I don't know what I would do if I didn't have dance as a part of my life. I would do anything and everything for it."

- Eunjae smiled at her coworkers as they exited the shop. "Does everyone have everything before heading home?" They all checked their things before heading towards the bus stop before they all split ways. "I'm not doing anything right now, so does anyone need company to make sure we all get home safe? I don't mind going out of the way. Or does anyone need some money for the bus?" "Nah we're good Eunjae-ah but, thanks for looking out for us." She laughed and said, "No problem, I always got you guys."

{ perfectionists, selfless, independent, overthinker }

- Eunjae puffed out her cheeks as she held her breath and concentrated on making sure that the latte art turned out perfectly. 'Now just trace it along...then add a dollop of milk...right...there.' She breathed out a sigh of relief as she put the finishing touches and set everything down. The girl sighed as she eyed the drink and shook her head. "It's still not good enough..." she muttered. "I've seen it done better by others, I need to make sure it's as good as everyone else's...or at least I'm satisfied with how it looks."

- "Are you sure you'll be alright?" Minjung asked as she hurriedly put on her things and rushed towards the door. Eunjae nodded and gave her best friend a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I can watch Jihyo-ah while you go to work." "I know that you have a lot on your plate right now, but are you sure?" Eunjae laughed and nodded as she pushed her best friend out the door. Her daughter was asleep in the crib and she said, "Just go or you'll be late." Once Minjung was out of her sight, Eunjae plopped herself on the couch and stared at the ceiling. "You got this Eunjae-ah. It's Minjung we're talking about. We need to help her." 'Yeah, but you still have a lot to worry about. You still have exams to study for and making choreography for the week before going into the cafe.' her conscience reminded. "It's okay, I signed up for it and I can do my own things later. Right now, I need to be there for Jung-ah." Eunjae replied to herself.

- The girl glared at Jonghyun as he leaned on the cafe counter and went on and on how she's been overloaded with everything since exam season was kicking in. "Just let me be a substitute for you at the studio while you work at the cafe and attend classes." She gave him a look as she prepared his coffee and said, "I got everything under control, Jong." "Yeah right, you've only been getting two to three hours of sleep every night." Eunjae shrugged and said, "It's fine, I'm still functioning, aren't I?" "Why can't you just let Jung-ah and I help you take some load off." "Because I got everything under control, Jong. Don't worry about me, alright? I'll let you guys know if and when I need anything." she pleaded as she met his eyes and sild over his coffee. Jonghyun sighed and gave up knowing she won't back down. "Alright, fine."

- Eunjae sighed to herself as she curled up in bed and mentally went over the day's events. She mentally slapped herself on the forehead as she recalled messing up an order for a group of university students and having to backtrack the system that they had. 'You had one job, Eunjae-ah. Now watch it lead to more mistakes and eventually get fired...Then you'll have to rely on Jonghyun-ah and Minjung-ah until you can get back on your feet again.' She groaned and could feel the negative funk that she's thinking herself into. "Don't overthink Eunjae-ah...Don't do it." she muttered and sat up before dragging her feet to her bathroom. "Maybe a soak in the bath would help." With already negative thoughts filling her mind, she shook her head and tried to distract herself for the rest of the night.

{ mischievous, blunt }

- Eunjae bowed her head and mentally beat herself up as Minjin reprimanded her for a prank that had gone wrong amongst her co-workers. Towards the end of her shift, Eunjae thought of the brilliant idea to start a competition of who could launch a dollop of whipped cream the highest from the top of his/her hand. It was supposed to be all innocent fun where everyone was having a good time until a customer came to the counter undetected when it was her turn. She tapped her wrist and the whipped cream went flying and accidentally landed on the customer's head. Minjin found out from Jikyung and the two were having a talk about the incident, "...Now it's okay to do those type of things because we're a family here. But, just make sure it's during the off hours with the crews, alright?" Minjin said.

- "Jung-ah, I'm going to be real with you. You need to stop all the side activities you're doing because Jong-ah and I cannot continue looking after your child while you decide to live your life. The both of us came here because we've let it slip for too long. Jihyo-ah is almost a year old and we've been around her more than you have." Eunjae said as she and Jonghyun sat across from her in the girl's dining room. She instantly regretted what she said as Minjung's eyes shined with unshed tears but Minjung shook her head. "I-I need some space." Eunjae knew she had gone too far, but she had always believed in getting straight to the point than beating around the bush. Whatever she says always comes from good intentions, but it might come off the wrong way, just like in that moment.

background

Kim Eunjae was born on August 28, 1997, and into a regular family as an only child who lived in Seoul. Her parents run a family restaurant in their neighborhood for as long as she remembers. They made sure that she got that the best that they could give her. Because her parents were well-known within her neighborhood, they knew all of the families that would constantly eat at their restaurant. It was during her weekend childhood where she met her best friend, Park Jonghyun. His family and her family would go to church together then have brunch in their restaurant when they opened up for the day. The two were inseperable and because Eunjae was an only child, Jonghyun was the person she would always go to.

The two also went to school together and that's where the duo became a trio when Chae Minjung came into the picture. She was a transfer student and became seatmates with Eunjae. They immediately hit it off with each other when they bonded over the mutual liking of gaming, anime, and food. The girls talked non-stop and when it was time for lunch, Eunjae introduced Minjung to Jonghyun and that's how their friendship blossomed. Eunjae was the mood maker, Minjung was the free spirit that did whatever she wanted, and Jonghyun was the mediator between the two girls whenever they got into childish fights.

Eunjae's passion for dance blossomed when she would watch the music shows her parents would put on for customers to watch and enjoy the music in their restaurant. She grew up watching groups like H.O.T, Sechksies, Fin.K.L, and eventually groups and artists towards her taste like BigBang, BoA, SNSD, etcetera. She would spend her extra time mimicking the dance moves she would repeatedly see done throughout the chorus of the song. Eventually, her mother got tired of her disrupting the flow of the kitchen as she tried following along in her small corner if she wasn't helping out and sent her to dance classes. Eunjae enrolled in ballet classes and although she loved it, she easily grew tired of how stiff the dancing was. She moved on towards jazz because her mother thought it was more appropriate and Eunjae enjoyed it but it still felt like it wasn't her style. Eunjae took it upon herself to show her mother a studio she passed by with Jonghyun on the way home from school and they would always talk about the hip-hop classes that they had. She was eventually enrolled in that class and it was the best decision she ever made. Eunjae loved the moves that she learned and the way that the music would take over her, it was like her escape from the stress of school and pressure that her parents would put on her. Ever since that fateful day that both she and Jonghyun enrolled into those classes, dance had become a major part of who she was.

When she was in high school, Eunjae and Jonghyun had built the reputation amongst their fellow peers of being a dynamic dancing duo. They both joined the school's dance team and as the years passed by, the two became captains of the team. During this time, the two began to collaborate and choreograph for the team's set. Going through this experience, it awakened something inside of Eunjae. Choreographing, sharing her art, and being able to inspire others was something that she really enjoyed doing. When it came close to graduating high school, she made the decision of following her dream and focus on making herself known within the dance community with Jonghyun alongside her. They both had the same goal but Jonghyun's main focus was also taking over his father's business. Eunjae decided to go the business route as well, but with the vision of opening up her own dance studio.

Now if Eunjae was not found dancing in a studio, at school studying with her friends, or helping out her parents with the restaurant she could be seen in her room playing online RPGs. Fantasy themed games were her main domain and she loved playing platforms like MapleStory, Runescape, and eventually caving into League of Legends. She loved playing those type of games because it was like jumping into the worlds she always read and dreamed about when she was a kid. Going on party quests and interacting with other players was her favorite past time and would often lead to many sleepless nights. But she didn't care, if time permitted her she would be on her computer all day. Her love for games doesn't stop online either. She would often due game nights at Minjung's house if they all studied together. They would always be seen playing different ones each week like Uno, Scrabble, Candyland, and as they grew older and new games came into the market: Cards Against Humanity, Exploding Kittens, etcetera.

As graduation came to a near, Eunjae finally mustered up the courage to tell them that she got accepted to Yonsei University with a business major. Her parents had always expected her to take over the family business because of how well-known it was and how well she knew the dynamics of everything. When her senior year came around, her parents kept boasting to their customers how they wouldn't have to worry about the place closing down because she would be there to continue on the legacy. It wasn't what Eunjae wanted at all and night before graduation, she told her parents that she wasn't taking over the family business and was focusing on wanting to open up her own dance studio. Her parents were shocked and her father became furious. He called her ungrateful and shameful for going towards the artistic route of life. There was no way she could survive with that kind of career. Her mother didn't know what to do in that situation, but as always just quietly stood by her husband's side. Eunjae was kicked out that night and her relationship with her parents became estranged. She stayed over at Jonghyun's and even with Jonghyun's family's help, her father still wouldn't budge from his decision.

In order to survive and not burden the Park family, Eunjae found a cheap apartment that could fit within her budget that her mother would send her. She was aware that her mother still cared for her, but Eunjae refused to interact with the woman who not only brought her into this world but couldn't even protect/stand up for her when Eunjae pleaded her to say something when everything went down between her family. She became a part-time student with two classes a week as she juggled two to three jobs throughout the years. Eunjae landed a couple of good paying gigs within the dance community two to three times a year with her reputation with Jonghyun. She would get the full commission for hosting workshops at studios or become a coach for her old high school team. During her sophomore year in university, Eunjae applied to be one of the instructors at 1Million and landed the job, first as a substitute teacher and eventually made her way up to teaching beginning or intermediate classes.

Eunjae was doing fine until she quit the bartending job she did. The tip was amazing and helped her get through the days, but she was sick and tired of being overly ualized and also her boss wouldn't take the hint that she refused to date him. Struggling to find a job, she took a break from job searching and opened up her Youtube feed where she saw one of her favorite gamers, upload a new video a while ago, but with her schedule, she hadn't had time to catch up with all her subscriptions. With excitement, she clicked on the video and watched as he raves about the preparations about the cafe he's opening up. It was going through its soft opening stages and Eunjae needed to find time check out the place. A notification could be heard on her phone and she picked it up to see that Minjung was spamming her. Eunjae's eyes widened as she skimmed through the contents and pictures she sent. Immediately, the girl called her best friend and said, "Yah, you're not playing with me, right? MP! is hiring?!" Minjung confirmed and Eunjae smiled widely. "Guess that's going to be the next place I'll be applying at. Oh Jung-ah I don't know what I'd do without you, I freaking love you, hoe!" They ended the call and she smiled in amusement as she continued watching the video. "Who wouldn't want to work there? Great coffee and food, endless games, AND Doogi runs the place? It's perfect."

Best Friend / Park Jonghyun / 21, Apri 30, 1997 / FC: Kai (EXO)
Traits: protective, goofball, hard-working, rational
"You always need to remember to put yourself first. As selfish as that sounds, people will understand if they really care about you."

Park Jonghyun has been in Eunjae's life for as long as she could remember. They learned how to ride skateboards together. Their moms always paired them up to do their first couple of errands as young kids. He was there for her when girls from their class would bully her because of having parents who waited on other people. He was the one that motivated her when all she wanted to do was stay in bed and play games all day, not talking to anyone. As much as she hates it whenever he teases her (which is any time or given moment he has with her), it would feel weird without having him bother her. He's her partner in crime when they try to pull pranks on their family members or Minjung and Jihyo.

He's the closest thing she has to an actual sibling. Although they're the same age, she sees him as an older brother (since he is older by four months). He's the only person that can read her easily despite the independent image she has for herself. Besides Minjung, Jonghyun is the person she can let her walls down whenever they spend time together. He's there as a shoulder to try on as well as the one to help keep her in check.

Best Friend / Chae Minjung / 21, November 15, 1997 / FC: Heize (Soloist)
Traits: fearless, reckless, direct, motivated
"You know what? Forget it. I'm just gonna go and do my own thing. I don't need this right now. Text me whenever you need me."
Godchild / Chae Jihyo / 4, September 15, 2014 / FC: Park Naeun (Return of Superman)
Traits: innocent, playful, cheeky, adventurous
"Auntie Jae! What's ? I heard Uncle Jonghyun talking about it to one of his friends we ran into when we went to go get ice cream."

Chae Minjung is Eunjae's ride or die. Sure Jonghyun would always be there for the both of them, but both can agree that they are each other's soul sisters. The two girls go to each other for everything about being a girl from gossip, to guys, to anything really. They understand each other easily and Minjung could always be seen as the person who's on top of what's the latest and hottest things to do. She's out and about doing whatever she feels like on a whim: trying and successfully running a food, fashion, and lifestyle blog. She can easily get swept up in her work and the constant feeling of needing to have a change in her life.

Although she still has that youthful and spirited personality, her daughter Jihyo, is her motivation. From a reckless mistake made in her freshman year of university, the best blessing in her life came into the world. She refused to let the father into her daughter's life because he wouldn't own up to it, but will forever be thankful that she had Eunjae and Jonghyun by her side. She feels guilty for always leaving Jihyo with her best friends, but she has to do what she believes in right by working constantly, picking up multiple media jobs, in order to provide for her little angel.

The trio can agree that Jihyo brings an innocent light into their lives. Whenever Jihyo is with them, she brings this energetic energy and helps them forget about their worries. Her innocent and playful charm melts their daily stress and worries. She's not afraid to try new things and the adults around her find it so amusing how she's curious about the world around her. Jihyo tends to venture off around by herself under adult supervision. She has this natural aura that has people naturally gravitate towards her and easily makes friends. Laughing and joking around with her favorite people is what she loves to do.

Older Sister Figure / Sori Na / 23, November 08, 1995 / FC: {as herself}
Traits: level-headed, sharp, calm
"Just calm down. Everything will fall back into its place. You just need to concentrate on how you're feeling on the inside."

Sori was the person that helped her get the job at 1Million. The two of them had grown close to each other during their high school days. Sori was the captain of their school's dance team when she and Jonghyun first joined and everyone around them claimed Eunjae as the 'mini' version of Sori. Both of them naturally grew close with their passion and goals for dancing and similar tastes in fashion. When Eunjae had left the Park's household, she went to Sori for help and the older girl was the person that helped her get back onto her feet.

The two's relationship is just how anyone could see it: Sori was a mother figure to Eunjae and would do anything for the girl in a heartbeat. Sori saw herself in Eunjae and the two of them have this unbreakable bond. They claim each other as their dance "soulmates" and Eunjae can always rely on her whenever she isn't ready to talk to either Minjung or Jonghyun. Sori is like a mother hen towards Eunjae and Eunjae admires the older girl very much. Eunjae also sometimes lists Sori as her guardian because that's how much she considers Sori as family.

Older Brother Figure / Song Minseok  / 26, February 20, 1993 / FC: {kim jisoo}
Traits: cheeky, playful, optimist, naive
"Looks like you need to let loose for a bit, tell Jiho that all your drinks are on me tonight, alright? Enjoy yourself."

When Eunjae first met Minseok at the club she previously worked at, he tried flirting with her. He was a b-boy that retired after a leg injury and decided to pursue DJing instead and had a residency at the club. Although she declined, the way that she easily flushed made him want to whenever he got the chance to. It's a love-hate relationship between the two of them with his constant teasing and her responding back with her sarcastic, blunt remarks. It's what got the two of them to grow close with each other. He's grown protective over her throughout the times the she would go to him for advice when they'd drink together on the rooftop of her apartment and after she opened up about what their boss had been trying to do with her. If anyone were to try and cross her, he'd be right by her side, ready to punch whoever she wanted him to.

It's also his fault that her tolerance for alcohol is so high as well. When she had first started off as a service girl that served the drinks at 18 before moving to bartending, he toook her up on her claims at being a heavyweight in drinking. Minseok easily caught her bluff and she admitted defeat. The two enjoyed each other's company and eventually made it a bi-weekly thing to just hang out and let off the steam. Occasionally Sori or her best friends would join them as well, but as time passed no one could keep up with how much the two of them drank.

icon icon icon

Favorite Co-Worker / Hwang Hanyeon / 17, November 28, 2000 / FC: Shin Ryujin
Traits: protective, open-minded, aloof, passive aggressive
"I guess this is my life now."

Hanyeon is the younger sister that Eunjae had always wanted. Once she started working at MP! Hanyeon was one of the first people she met and the two hit it off once they immediately talking about fantasy themed games along with the fact that on their break on her first shift, Eunjae offered her some almond coated chocolate pepero that she had in her bag. Whenever they're together, Eunjae always has this urge to tease and joke around with her because she finds it so easy with the younger girl. Their sarcasm is on the same wavelength and the two are also cussing under their breaths to each other about how they hate how slow time is passing or teaming up together to defeat another party in a game.

Eunjae also tends to be the devil's advocate when it comes to Hanyeon and her brother. As much as she looks up to Minjin, she can't help but help Hanyeon out whenever she wants to join in on the drinking games that the crew has on occasion at the cafe or if she simply wants to get turnt up for the hell of it because Eunjae is always down for a drink. For some reason despite refusing in the end, Hanyeon ends up being her partner in crime when Eunjae has another little prank or awesome idea to do to their coworkers. The two can talk about anything and Eunjae tries to be there for her as much as the girl lets her.

love story

Son Junhyung.

Eunjae rolled her eyes and laughed to herself as she overheard a couple of girls fangirl over him. She's familiar with the well-known dancer/DJ within the community because they often bumped into each other at events. Casual conversations have been stricken up between them but both considered each other as acquaintances for a while. As she weaved through the crowd, Eunjae ended in the center of the dance cipher that was happening in the club she decided to go to with Minjung. The girl disappeared from her side as soon as they got past security and curiosity got the better of Eunjae as she wanted to see what was happening on the dance floor. Junhyung could be seen up at the DJ booth bobbing his head with the music that was playing and cheering on the dancer. They met eyes and the smirk that she hates but won't admit she loves crept onto his face as a teasing glint could be seen in his eyes as the person in the center finished up his round.

"Alright, alright, alright y'all. Give it up for Ren! You guys are in a special treat for tonight because we got Athena in the house! Is she down for a little showcase?"

Attention was now on her and Eunjae playfully flipped off the guy. "I hate you, Junhyung-ah. How could you put me on the spot like that?!" she exclaimed. He smiled cheekily back and laughed. "So what's it gonna be, missy?" She raised an eyebrow at him and smiled back. "Can't say no, now can I?" The girl stepped into the circle as Junhyung and the crowd cheered her on. Music started to play and Eunjae let the music take over her, letting her body move. As she danced, Eunjae met eyes with Junhyung at some point and they held gazes for a moment before he winked at her. Eunjae laughed before finishing up and bowing to the crowd. "Give it up one more time for Athena y'all! With that being said, I'm wrapping up for the night, so sit tight for my homie Jongkook to come up!"

Eunjae breathlessly made her way towards the bar and ordered a rum and coke to relieve her dry throat. Her attention turned towards the crowd of people dancing as an attempt to find Minjung, but from the corner of her eye, she noticed Junhyung pull up next to her. He ordered his drink and she could already feel him smirking at her. Eunjae rested her elbows on the bar's counter and gave him a side-eye. "What do you want Son?"

He laughed and shrugged as she grabbed her drink and finished it in one go. "You were great out there. I didn't expect to find you here tonight, where are your friends?"

"Minjung-ah is somewhere here while Jong-ah couldn't make it because he has work in the morning," she replied and turned to look at him.

He nodded and looked at the bartender, "One more for the lady and put it on my tab, Hyuk-ah."

She raised an eyebrow at this and said, "What's this? The Son Junhyung is buying a lady a drink? Imagine the scandal that would arise in the community when they found out the number one sought after bachelor is paying attention to me?"

Junhyung tilted his head back and let out a laugh. "That's a good one, Athena. You did great tonight, as always. I thought you deserve a little reward."

"Yeah? And how would you know that?" Eunjae snorted as she crossed her ankles and grabbed the drink Junhyung offered.

"Because I pay attention to you."

"Pfft, yeah right."

"I'm serious."

She turned towards him and looked at him. Eunjae admits that he lives up to his reputation as a handsome bachelor within their community. She couldn't believe that he was trying to flirt with her.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever floats your boat, Son. If you're serious, prove it."

Eunjae didn't know that after saying that, Junhyung would have a huge impact on her life. The two exchanged numbers that night and she was surprised to find that they had the same common interests when it came to music and passion for dance. His soft side was what surprised her because he seemed like the type of guy that had girls always wrapped around his fingers, but he remembered the little things that she would talk to him about. At the moment, because of how busy the two of them are at the moment, they agreed that they're both attracted to each other. I mean who wouldn't when they ended up hooking up with each other after their third time going to a bar together. Junhyung constantly shows that all he wants is her, but Eunjae still has her guard up. Due to her past with exes and being cheated on or broken up with which led to her thinking she was incompetent with satisfying anyone, Eunjae wants to see if Junhyung would still be willing to pursue her when she has her lowest of low days. When they were casually hanging out one day, Eunjae mentioned how she got the job at MP! and Junhyung took it to his advantage. Whenever she has to work there, he tries to visit whenever his schedule permits him to. Or if she ends up getting a closing shift and didn't drive, Junhyung waits until she's done to her home or get dinner together.

In the end, the two eventually end up becoming a couple. Their honeymoon phase is just as she imagined. They go on cute dates like going to the beach, cooking together, making a dance piece together, etcetera. But, Eunjae begins to doubt their relationship when Junhyung grows distant with her and pushing her to the side. She hears from Jonghyun that he spotted Junhyung with his ex-girlfriend, Jia at multiple places while Eunjae was at work. Eunjae felt her heartbreak after opening up to him about her past relationships and him promising her that he wasn't like them. She confronted him about it and his rationality didn't make sense to her. Turns out Junhyung didn't want her to get involved with his ex back in town because it was his baggage. She reached out to him because she was trying to find a place to stay after being kicked out by her family for getting pregnant at an early age. He was helping her find a place with one of their old friends from high school and was making sure that she was settled in. Eunjae's guard immediately went back up and told him that he broke her trust because of not confiding in her. They were supposed to be a team and help one another if a problem arose but he didn't. She began doubting him if he was actually serious about their relationship and asked for some space. Eunjae refused to see him and talk to him and Junhyung tried to get through her by seeking out her best friends. He knew how protective Minjung and Jonghyun were of her but Junhyung did all he could to convince them otherwise. Minjung was more understanding, but Jonghyun was much harder. It took more time and Jonghyun snooping around more to clarify the ex's story. Once Junhyung receives the approval of both of them, they help him make amends with Eunjae. It takes a while because of how hurt she was and she hates how much of her heart already belonged to him. They agreed to start from square one again and he's willing to be patient and continuously show how much he loves Eunjae.

"hello, eunjae! i'm jikyung, one of the managers at mp! gaming cafe. tell me a little about yourself!"

"Hey! Jikyung it's nice to meet you. I'm Eunjae." she laughs before smiling at the women before her. "I'm currently an aspiring choreographer and part-time university student. I'm also in my fourth year of college as a business major in hopes of opening up my own dance studio one day. In my free time, I like to relax by playing PC games like MapleStory or league of legends. Not opposed to table games because I tend to have one every weekend with my best friends."

"what made you apply for a job here? any experience?"

"To be honest I got lucky with the timing I suppose." Eunjae smiles sheepishly and scratches her head. "I recently quit my previous job as a bartender and was looking for a new job. My friend told me that you guys were hiring and I thought why not? This place has been on my radar ever since Doogi made his announcement about this place. I think it's a great place with the combination of games and food." She pauses for a moment as she bites her lip while thinking about her experience. "Well, I currently teach a weekly hip-hop class at 1Million every Wednesday night. All throughout my high school life, I helped out at my family's restaurant doing all the works like washing dishes, food prep or cooking, serving/setting tables, and ringing up customers. I've done food delivery service for a little bit and most recently worked as a bartender."

"know how to play any of the games here? we do tend to teach and facilitate some games!"

Eunjae perks up at the mention of games and she grows excited. "I love games. It's the one thing I love besides food and dancing. PC games helped me a lot through middle school and high school with the online community and such. But I'm a er for classics like Codenames, Monopoly, Cards Against Humanity and even card games." She smiles and finishes, "I love games, not only are they fun, but it's a great way to bond with others."

"any events you want to suggest for the cafe? WE'RE OPEN TO IDEAS!"

She looks up in thought and taps her chin. "Hmm...Maybe weekly meetings for those that play games like Dungeons and Dragons? I know it's a pretty fun and engaging game that a lot of people gather for. But in general, maybe themed months for different online or board games? Not sure if it's really an event but, I think it'd be a cute idea for new seasonal drinks and pastries. I could help out with baking and such if possible because I do like to cook and bake in my free time as well." Eunjae smiles and nods. "I hope these are some ideas that you may take into consideration."

you have reached the end!

last words Ahhhh I hope everything is okay! Sorry if it's not so aesthetically pleasing or if the color hasn't changed from the OG, not really good at that haha ;-; ALSO! If you want to use Jonghyun as a love interest for Eunjae too, I'm all for it. Throw in a little love triangle or have Eunjae pick Jonghyun after Junhyung s up his chances with her hahaha
