Since I'm propably not publishing anymore fanfics this year I'll do this now lol.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Hmm I didn't expect to take that big break after December last year. I just came back to writing fanfictions recently in September because I was beginning to enjoy OC stories more. As in coming up with my own character and really getting to play with my imagination. I came back because I mean I remember all my left over stories how much love they deserve LOL.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?
AHAHA JENO X HAECHAN.
I never guessed it but Bad Acts came to me all of the sudden and I think it's so beautiful honestly but it's sooo ugh um unexpected(?) Lol I didn't see myself writing something so emotional and touching and like forbidden between Haechan and Jeno. Suddenly I felt the feeling and I made it happen. I think it's a good read though.

What's your own favorite story of the year? 
Haha I didn't write much this year, lol. I mean I wish I could incorporate my OC stories in here since I have five million of those but, for now I'd have to say Eight Gems and the Messengers. It's such a light and pretty read, I love the comedy with the angst and the hard romance? It's just so pretty as a story and makes me warm.

Bad Acts was such a mystery honestly I was so scared to upload not knowing what people would think XD. But it's personally a really good story that I enjoy re-reading.

Make The Problematic Lees better, yes that I must do.

My best story of this year: 
Best hmmmm.
I think it's "butterfly in my stomach". It's such a heart warming and angsty read I almost cry, lol. But I think it's beautiful and has a lot of expression. Not best but one of my favorites. 
Or "dollhouse" ugh it has like two chapters but it honestly probably the best plot I've ever come up with and I enjoy it SO MUCH. The second chapter is just beautiful and I love it asdfghjkl.

My most popular story of this year: 
"The Problematic Lees" which I mean I get that story is so iconic honestly smh I wonder how I did that. 

The story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: 
Ofc it has to be "dollhouse" that story was so beautiful and legit NO ONE reads it somehow. It deserves so much more personally I think it's one of my best writes and if you love mystery then you will love this. I personally love the flow and edgy vibe of this story.

The most fun story to write: 
Hmm HAHA "Eight Gems and the Messengers" is so much fun to write and it's a lot of fun to read too lol. I just love every characters personality and the way Taeil plays around in that story. Taeyong is honestly iconic and I love that so much.

The story with the single iest moment:  
WOW kk lol. Um idk I don't write rated m. My OC stories were a little rated but...let me check. I mean I guess "bad acts"(?) JENO WAS SO LOWKEY THIRSTY FOR HAECHAN IN THAT BOY CALM DOWN. I mean it didn't mention that they you know slept together in the story but you could just asume because that was their bad act LOL. Jeno legit this boy was too much so I get it. 

The most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
Um idk probably "bad acts". Because I wa so unsure about writing it yet the words spilled out of my mouth even so. I really didn't feel the vibe of writing it but I couldn't stop myself. I don't ship Jeno and Haechan but "bad acts" ugh it just gets me.

The hardest story to write: 
Good question..."dollhouse"
Probably because the plot is so complex and I honestly love it so much but it's just a pain trying to write it when you kind of are unsure how to make a scene that intense. Like I imagine that story as a movie, meaning I want all the scenes to have suspense and that horror music in the back, but unfortunately I can't have that. So I have to try to write it in a sense so that the scene will turn out just that intense. 

The biggest disappointment: 
Hmm I don't know. I don't publish if I don't like it. 

The biggest surprise: 
Getting like almost 200 subs on "The Problematic Lees". That probably my worst story but LOL.

Favorite Opening Line(s)

Summer was coming to a halt, the leaves were falling to the ground in different colors. The scent of fresh summer air dimmed, as the odd scent of perfume on Mark became stronger every night.

- "The Problematic Lees" Ugh I love how every opening line in every chapter relates to a season. It's just beautiful.

Favorite Closing Line(s):

“I think we were mistaken. I think we started seeing each other's friendship form into diamonds of love. In reality, our hearts are two big bricks of coal; we’ll never be in love. But still, there’s nothing that makes me happier than our bad acts."

- "bad acts" This story made me cry wtf. 

Honorable Mention:

Remembering how the corners of lifted into a bright smile and the little sparkle in her eyes. He remembers everything and although it had been a few months since she'd last spoken to him, he remembers everything.

Especially the moment he ripped the wings off of her back and watched the tears fall from her eyes.

- "butterfly in my stomach" ugh Jisung in this story kills me so much.

 

Favorite 5 Lines from Anywhere:

1. The fact that you trust me is so pathetic. Jeno thought to himself as he won again, with Mark of course. The one person he couldn't get his way with was Haechan.

2. "You are not the moon, you are the sun. You do not reflect light, you emit it."

- "butterfly in my stomach" Ugh Jisung loved Haechan so much in this story.

3.  Tears were the only thing that left Haechan's dull eyes while his friends worked hard to fill up the dark hole Jeno had created inside of his heart.

4. Jeno eyes felt like they were covered with a black cloth as he wondered what Haechan and him could have been if Jisung and Mark weren’t in the picture.

5. The night was a silent one, but Jeno's and Haechan's coal hearts only beat because they were forced by their peers love to keep living. Or else, they were sure that they would’ve ended their lives a long time ago.

Fic-writing goals for 2019:
hmm I mean don't pressure yourself to write fanfic if you aren't in the mood but keep up with it for sure.
Try to finish your old stories but mainly focus on improving your writing and not updates.
