APPEARANCE : 

✧ Hyejin is a petite girl, standing 164cm and only weighs 48kg. She originally has a brown straight hair, but she loves to dye her hair with different colors and is currently sporting a rose gold hue. Hyejin usually curls her hair as she thought having a bouncy hair really suits her, compared the straight one. She also has shadow bangs that reaches just above her eyebrows. Tying her hair to different styles is also known with Hyejin. She likes to watch videos on Youtube, teaching people how to do different ones. She has porcelain-like complexion and a flawless skin because ever since she was a kid, she took care of her skin religiously to the point that thrice a week, after bathing, she pours milk to her face and body and leaves it for 5 minutes before rinsing again. This routine was taught by her mother as well. Hyejin has hazel brown eyes which turns to crescents whenever she smiles. Her lips are shaped like a heart and sometimes has a gummy smile too.

FASHION STYLE :

✧ Outside school, Hyejin loves to wear clothes that shades vary and is always seen wearing dresses or a skirt; different kinds of skirt at that. Ever since she was young, she thought that skirts exude classy femininity and doesn’t really likes wearing pants, well, except for winter time. She even likes to pair these with sneakers, boots, oxfords, or Mary Janes. Hyejin is like the epitome of a girly girl and she is proud of that. She loves hats too and has a collection of berets and wide brim hats.

“I am so happy today!!! We should all eat cheesecake!” Extremely talkative and sociable. Meet the blithesome, Do Hyejin. The kind of girl who people always love approaching because of her always sunny and friendly aura. She loves meeting new friends and she's actually ecstatic upon joining the Ghost Club. Hyejin is very easy to talk to as she is always simple. She likes it whenever people approach her as it makes her feel that she is a reliable person. If another member of the club would go to their main room and it’s super quiet, he or she would quickly ask where’s Hyejin. That’s how loud she can be. Hyejin is an adventurous person as well and she doesn't get scared to try out new things or to take risks. She really is a venturous young woman that's why other people would rely on her. The girl doesn't mind as she always love to try stuff that are quite new to her. Even when she usually vlogs in an abandoned place, it excites her more and doesn’t look scared even just a little. At first glance, she really looks fragile and delicate. But once people get to know her, she's actually a courageous person who's not afraid of anything. Hyejin is extremely a vivacious person as it seems like she doesn't run out of energy. She's very lively that others question if she really didn't come out from a comics. She's always enthusiastic and little things would even bring joy to her. Hyejin is also an intelligent girl. She can quickly think of things and weigh the situations accurately so that she could help in solving problems. She's alert and attentive that she can also contribute in recruiting potential members for the club. She loves to think and because her brain can produce a lot of crazy ideas, she's not afraid to tell her co-members what she thinks. Hyejin's imagination is beyond comprehension and she can go crazy with these ideas of hers. She's a visionary and a creative person. She likes to think about her future and plan ahead so she would have a guide on what she will do if problems come her way. Being such, it helps her to have more original ideas about her life or for others. She believes that being creative doesn't always mean about artworks but also one can simple connect it on how they can survive their everyday lives.  A true child at heart, despite her age.

“I’m reading a book about anti-gravity... It’s impossible to put down. /chuckles/ Get it? Get it???” Give her a task, then she'll do it with 100% determination. She always like to see the endings or outcomes of all things she does that's why she would always do her best. She had always been like this ever since she was young and Giving up is not in her dictionary. Nothing can faze this lass as she believes that anything is possible. Hyejin loves to daydream especially when she's free and she has nothing to do. She likes to imagine things and sometimes she's stuck in her own world that other people are becoming curious on what's happening inside her otherworldly mind. She thinks that this is her way to relax herself despite all the things that she has yet to accomplish. Daydreaming is one of her favourite past time and sometimes when she's in this state, no one could actually talk to her or could make her snap out of it except for Sanghyuk; her happy crush, but no one needs to know that of course. Teehee.  Hyejin can be emotional at times too. She can easily cry with whatever reasons she has. She would cry if she felt touched or moved because someone had done something good to others or to her. Hyejin is just like that, she's really weird. But the good kind. Hyejin would cry if she feels really sad about something even though she doesn't have to feel to. Even though she's like that, Hyejin can be amicable too. She likes to listen to other people. When she feels that someone is sad, she'd gladly lend her ears to listen to others, lend her shoulders for others to lean on, and lend a helping hand for them to feel better and be guided. She doesn't like the feeling of being abandoned, so as much as possible, she doesn't do that to other people as well. Hyejin would love to offer anyone a hug when they need it. That benefits her too though since she really love warm hugs~! Oh, Hyejin is a very unpredictable person as well. Whenever people try to talk to her, sometimes she can't help herself but blurt out things that are weird that others would freak out for life. But other times, she would be really sweet and understanding. She can be kind now but later she'd do something mischievous that others might actually hate her for life. For her, it's all about fun and happiness but she knows when to get serious and when she is, she is really formal and won't joke around that bothers other people as she is not normally like that.

“Your pain is my joy... Kidding!!!” On the negative side of all the rainbows and smiles, there’s still an inner evil that a lot of people doesn't find amusing. Hyejin can be such a difficult person. She will not stop nagging until others would do what she wants to happen. For her, she always expects other people to do their best as well as she does hers too. She expects them to meet high standards as being contented over little things, as she believes, will bring you nowhere. She would insist on something and would not allow refusal. Others would just love to staple shut whenever she's like this because it's really exasperating. She can think fast and would argue without even stopping but she's always at point that they would just give up and do what she wants. Logic is her best friend when placed in this kind of situation and she likes doing the slippery slope on anyone. Hyejin can be too inquisitive at most times. She will not get what you mean when you ignore her but you just got to tell her what you really feel. She will continue to pester others; ask them a lot of questions if she feels really intrigued and won't stop until she's satisfied with what she had gathered. New inofrmation always make her happy. She's sort of forceful and meddlesome as she is admittedly a prying girl. Despite the fact that she's sort of smart, Hyejin can be really immature at times too. She could be like this whenever she wants and would cause others to feel so annoyed at her. She's not afraid of judgements and so she would just freely express herself. She doesn't care if other people would call her childish or extremely annoying, she'd just act more childish just for the sake of having fun and irritating others. But she doesn't mean harm. She just finds contentment with it. Hyejin can be very obstinate as well. She wouldn't change her mind when most especially she thinks she's right. She'd be very headstrong with her opinions and as much as she tries her best to become more open-minded, she'd just agree but deep inside her mind didn't change at all. For other people, she can be very hard-headed and at the same time influential as she would try to talk others out with her ideals and principles. With this, Hyejin can be a stubborn person as well. She will not change her opinion as she truly believes that what she knows are far better than other ideals but she would do this to other people. She knows that she has this weird personality but as much as she wants to change it, she doesn't know how to. Hyejin is an extremely opinionated person. She is not afraid to voice out her thoughts because she usually thinks that she's always right and her opinions are better than the others. She loves to insist on her opinions as if they were facts. Hyejin is just thankful that despite having a lot of shortcomings and flaws, her friends had accepted her of who she really is.

      

BACKGROUND :

Hyejin was born and raised in England to Oh Yena and Do Haneul who both worked as nurses in one of the hospitals in London. They were a happy and pretty much well-off family that was why Hyejin was able to grow up in an environment where her parents had provided everything that she needs.

When she was 13 years old, her parents started having heated arguments everyday and every night. They were working on different shifts and barely saw each other that was why their communication and intimacy started drifting apart and more fights happened. Around this time, Hyejin seek comfort with watching videos over the internet and even started trying out filming her own. She started with recording herself doing some covers of her favorite songs from her favorite K-pop groups and became famous in her school because she had a sweet, yet powerful voice. She was mostly more popular with her fellow Koreans, still she kind of felt alone despite having a lot of friends. She just felt like she doesn’t have a real constant.

When she was 16 years old, she saw her father kissing another co-worker in the hospital where her parents worked at. Her mom was at home and asked Hyejin to go to the hospital to give him his lunch as a surprise gift for his birthday, but sadly, the surprise was on her. This caused her strained relationship with her father. Eventually, she told her mother about this and quickly, Yena filed for a divorce. She always knew and felt that Haneul had the hots for a different woman now since their relationship weren’t that as bonded as before. Hyejin was devastated with all that was happening to her family, that’s why the more she turned to the comfort of social media. She still continued do song covers, but also started doing mukbangs. She claimed to love food and eating, but somehow it was her way to cope up and probably, stress eating. Hyejin never gained weight though. She has that ability /hahaha.

A few months after, the divorce was granted and Yena and Hyejin flew to Seoul, South Korea to start a new life. Her mother was employed in a hospital in Gangnam and since then they started anew. Hyejin developed a deeper respect for her mother as she was very brave in facing the whole divorce while raising her alone. This was also the time where Hyejin met her new best friend and partner in crime, Choi Eunha, who happened to be a vlogger herself. This was why they instantly clicked. Hyejin had always felt alone despite having a lot of friends, but ever since she met Eunha, she knew she had met her real best friend for life. Eunha and Hyejin did a lot of collaborations as well and one of which was visiting an abandoned hotel in Seoul. Since then, they got a lot of requests on visiting different abandoned places, some they were allowed to enter, and some they weren’t because they still weren’t of legal age at that time. Hyejin started feeling curious about the supernatural and was very interested to learn more about it. She would even watch different kinds of horror movies or dramas and would also read horror stories online. Some people would even tell her that the supernatural world was far darker for her since she shines brightly like the sun, but she never thought of those judgments that much. She was curious and this was her interest, no one can change that or take it away from her.

When she turned 18, her mother was promoted in becoming a Head Nurse, but was based in Busan. This caused another heartbreak for Hyejin, she loved her classmates and new found friends in Seoul. For her, it felt like she was just starting to live a new life, and yet they had to move. Eunha and Hyejin even made a special episode where they visited an abandoned school, and there Hyejin had told to their viewers that she was moving to Busan, but she will still continue her channel.

On her first day on Moon High School, Hyejin accidentally bumped to a pretty girl /ehem probably Eun /ehem who was holding a yellow flyer and Hyejin happened to catch it before the paper could fly away. When she was about to return it to the owner, she couldn’t find her anymore and decided to check out the flyer so she could know how to return it. It turned out to be a flyer for the Ghost Club and Hyejin smiled inwardly. ”Maybe moving here isn’t that bad of an idea at all.” She was determined to join the club and was looking forward to meet new friends with same interests with her as well. So, she did c: Hyejin didn’t find it difficult to adjust once more in a new school and was even surprised that other students know her because of her vlogs. She believed she will have a fantastic last year in high school in Moon High.

TRIVIA :

✧ Hyejin loves horror. Anything horror and it contrasts her bright personality, but it’s very fine for her.
✧ She’s a leftie.
✧ She plans on joining the Broadcasting club as well since she loves to vlog and act like a VJ (in front of the mirror) :)))
✧ Her appetite is beyond comprehension and can eat tons and tons of food. Hyejin’s favorites are jjajangmyeon, tteokbokki, spicy ramyeon, cheesy samgyupsal, chicken (particularly the leg part), flavored french fries, chips, yogurts, cheesecakes, sodas, and bubble teas. She also loves anything cheese-flavored and spicy food.
✧ Hyejin received a pet goldfish from her mother on her 18th birthday and named her ‘Cheddar’. She sometimes brings Cheddar to school secretly and lets the other members of the Ghost Club to take care of Cheddar or even ‘pet’ her.
✧ She has a beautiful singing voice (imagine Solar) and would sometimes even perform a short musical in the Ghost Club’s room, in front of other members, especially when they’re bored and nothing to do yet. Other times, she’d do a skit just for the sake of entertainment. Her co-members’ laughters are music to her ears.
✧ Whenever she feels angry or frustrated, she would talk and pour her heart out and wouldn’t even notice that she’s shifting to English. She also has a habit of finger-combing her fringes.
✧ She has a lovely scent of strawberry milkshake.
✧ Hyejin loves the color pink so much.
✧ After high school, she plans to go to college in Seoul and take up any film major. She also plans to always go back in Busan to meet up with the different members of Ghost Club and catch up. She wants to be a future mentor of the club as well c:

The Important People!

CONNECTIONS : 

      

OH YENA is Hyejin’s 53-year old mother working as a Head Nurse in a major hospital in Busan. Like her daughter, she is kind-hearted, understanding, approachable, and yet strict mother. Compared to her father, Hyejin is closer to Yena since they get to talk more and her mother would even take her out on weekends so that they could bond. Sometimes, Hyejin would open up to Yena about her feelings especially with the whole divorce of her parents, but oftentimes, she doesn’t because she doesn’t want to add more stress to her mother. Yena works nightshift in the hospital, so the two of them gets the chance to eat dinner together because Hyejin would usually visit the hospital so that they could eat and have deep or even funny conversations. Hyejin loves her mother so much, she thinks that she deserves all the happiness in the world. This is why Hyejin wants to be successful in the future so she could give back to her mother.

CHOI EUNHA is a student and vlogger like Hyejin and just turned 18 last June. She’s very eccentric, impulsive, charismatic, moody, and an unpredictable girl. The two are almost alike and sometimes would even finish each other’s sentences because they’re that close /haha. Both are only child that’s why they were able to click in almost an instant. They turn to each other whenever they’re feeling down and they both could cheer each other up c: Even when Hyejin moved to Busan, the two are still in contact and would usually video call each other just to update themselves with their latest news. Eunha plans on visiting Hyejin someday and wishes to meet the other members of the Ghost Club too. They could all do some collaborations.

LEE SANGHYUK caught Hyejin’s eye when they became classmates and since then, she developed a happy crush for him. She thinks that he’s very cute and awkwardly funny too. When Hyejin visited the Ghost Club’s room, she was surprised to see him there and thought that joining the club would be more interesting because he was there as well. Sanghyuk thinks that Hyejin’s kind of weird and extremely loud, and yet they immediately became friends. Hyejin would even challenge him to eat spicy foods and record him on a video just for the sake of having fun and while Sanghyuk hated that so much (both the spicy food and video recording), he would still do it because there’s no harm in doing something out of his comfort zone sometimes /hahaha. They’re friends, just sometimes, she would get to his nerves and he wouldn’t even let her know that because he’s a gentleman. :))

“Hi /waves frantically/!! My name is Do Hyejin and has been a supernatural enthusiast for quite some time now.” /chuckles and finger combs her fringes/ “I think it was destiny who had brought me here. No kidding. Sweet serendipity decided me to try to apply here in Ghost Club and I am beyond ecstatic. My previous schools didn’t have this kind of organization, so I’m really looking forward to this.”

/smiles/ “New found family. And of course, actually seeing them ghosts and paranormal stuff. Be more selfless and courageous and be able to help more people in terms of the supernatural.”

/eyes brighten like those in animes/ “Let’s go to Jeju Island and investigate about the vampires there and!!!! Have a barbecue party.”/shrugs and smiles/ “Come on, we can’t let that pass. Plus that would be totally awesome and perfect for an end of the year.”

SCENES REQUESTS : 

✧ The group will receive a request for investigation for a murder mystery and they didn’t know that the one who requested from them was actually a ghost; the victim of the murder.
✧They will visit an abandoned hotel that Hyejin will cover for her vlog.
✧ A scary ghost haunts the students of their school and sometimes would possess those who are weak and the group decided to take on that case and investigate more about it to prevent the ghost to do more dangerous damage.
