yeah. they aren't the best of friends. lucas really can't deal with eunyeong's dumb, really dumb, questions. eunyeong doesn't have anything against lucas, it's just that he thinks he's like, god or something and that irks eunyeong. the two have always been clashing heads, even if it is silent. they're always glaring at each other and generally, eunyeong would still believe there is good in everything. but she finds it hard to believe that with lucas. even if they're in the same friend group, they don't really like each other. not until siyeon and lucas became a thing. eunyeong really didn't have a choice to not despise her best friend's boyfriend as much. the two only put up with each other because of siyeon and the only time they talk in a civil manner is when lucas needs help with his relationship. best friend to the rescue!
THE MONSTER WITHIN !
FAMILY HISTORY. cha eunyeong was born as kim dayeong into the merfolk kingdom ruled by king kim junho and queen heo heeji. she wasn't the only child of the two rulers as she was a twin but also had many older siblings. they were all mermaids, both strong and weak. they all had a quality that made them unique, as no child of the king and queen were ordinary.
but there was no one like eunyeong. there has never been a siren living inside a mermaid, which is really just classified as a siren, which was the reason why what happened to eunyeong to happenend. her disappearance was covered up with an 'unknown sickness' that killed her (but don't worry, it's not contagious!).
ROLE. honestly, eunyeong is really there for moral support half of the time. when the team is feeling down, she will be the person to try to encourage the team and get everyone's brains working. otherwise, eunyeong is probably the person in charge of asking the questions no one wants to ask (they're usually dumb questions but it makes the team reconsider their options before going with a plan). with a memory like hers, eunyeong would also be the one who would try to go back into time through her memories and catch anything the crew might've missed if they are stuck and don't know how to continue solving the issue.
ABILITIES. eunyeong is one of the sirens who's voice wasn't made to sing in order to lure the prey. instead, she can manipulate her voice and mimic others. her control is average as she does not use her voice unless there's a situation that comes up and requires her voice.
yes, sirens are known for their powerful and magical voice that basically lures men to their death. but what isn't talked about is there other abilities. sirens like eunyeong are telepathic. she has the ability to control one's mind and create psychic illusions that make a person see what she wants them to see. eunyeong can also manipulate one's memory and inflict physical pain to whoever is under her control.
eunyeong also has many basic mermaid abilities such as water control, heating and freezing water, super speed, basic shape-shifting, and basic element control. that's why she carries around some water with her for whenever she needs it.
however, her eyes shift back to their true form and take away her sight whenever eunyeong tries to use her powers. she relies solely on her hearing and the guidance of others. and most of the time, she gets confused and will accidentally aim to control an ally rather than one on the opposing side.

ROLE. honestly, eunyeong is really there for moral support half of the time. when the team is feeling down, she will be the person to try to encourage the team and get everyone's brains working. otherwise, eunyeong is probably the person in charge of asking the questions no one wants to ask (they're usually dumb questions but it makes the team reconsider their options before going with a plan). with a memory like hers, eunyeong would also be the one who would try to go back into time through her memories and catch anything the crew might've missed if they are stuck and don't know how to continue solving the issue.
ABILITIES. eunyeong is one of the sirens who's voice wasn't made to sing in order to lure the prey. instead, she can manipulate her voice and mimic others. her control is average as she does not use her voice unless there's a situation that comes up and requires her voice.

growing up, seongwoo got a job as a delivery guy for a nearby restaurant. the restaurant was small but well known within hyeoryam. and seongwoo's family would always go help out if they needed extra money to help pay for expenses which is why seongwoo wanted to take an actual job there. playdates were no longer the highlight of his days, although some of his best friends were made from going over to the supernatural neighbors. they were seeing the happy faces of people when they got their food. and he makes enough to support himself and his family for when times are bad.
