background.
 earliest memories are of a small orphanage with a single underpaid, overworked cartaker who cared for each orphan like her own child. he became who he was because they had so little and he helped by being a good example (and eventually, a secondary caretaker, especially for the younger boys who looked up to him and wanted to be him).
 grew up at the top of his class and fell in love with kpop in middle school when his classmates showed it to him. enjoyed singing along to the music and thought the lights and make-up were magical. entertained other children at the orphanage by performing for them and contemplated auditioning at one point but couldn't bring himself to with how hard the orphanage was doing.
 his fifteenth birthday, the kids and caretaker surprised him, telling him they secretly sent in an application for him to audition for high:class entertainment. he went with their blessing and passed.

 is one of the few members who is able to get up on his own without inseong's "alarm" job but occasionally pretends to be asleep still because inseong pouts and hanshik is not-so-secretly weak for s
 cooks for s and whoever comes to the dorm when inseong isn't able to; has breakfast duty; especially talented at cooking good chinese food
 always down to cuddle but will only initiate if you're clearly having a bad day and telegraph that you need a hug; accepts all of inseong's affection with amusement and gets thrown to the wolf boy when the other members are tired of inseong's kiss attacks
 s once told an interviewer that his hands were the iest part of his body and ever since, fans make compilation videos / collages of whenever he does something with his hands and his groupmates (reference bottom of personality)
works out daily, but especially pushes himself hard when he's stressed or frustrated or something of the like; leads to his surprisingly strong stature and keeps him healthy overall; could probably benchpress one of s, but doesn't see why he should
 has his birthday as his phone password, which all of his groupmates (and labelmates) know. leads to some fun on his phone like: people taking selfies, both pretty and ugly; changing his phone background to whatever they like; changing his kakaotalk name (hanshik, ma, #fakekorean to name a few); making fake texts to each other pretending to be hanshik (though it's usually really obvious it isn't him)
 absolutely loves movies, but is especially weak for romantic movies. doesn't cry, but is a complete a bit of a sap. laughs in the face of horror movies, much to the relief and confusion of his groupmates who cling to him during those times. enjoys a good action or adventure movie but also critiques them heavily and will point out differences to the book if based off of one and if he's read it. tries to solve mystery movies before the ending and somehow does relatively well.

this is just a simple questionnaire, so you don't have to answer it like answering an interview. although, you may include explanations if necessary!
i. when i sleep, i keep the lights off.
 is light sensitive and will wake up the second anyone turns on a light aka will wake up with the sunrise.
ii. i go to school by walking.
 considers a mile to be a "warm-up walk."

 doesn't post much on it himself. lets s post on his behalf, which is high-key hilarious and low-key a roasting war between his groupmates and cheat:codes (who also has complete access to it).

v. in the squad, i am the (older) brother.
 when double:zero is asked, answers vary from mom to platonic soulmate; when suggested, they all agree to "the boy i'd date if i was a girl. or if i was gay."
vi. i am the one who enjoys the chaos food at meals.
 introducing the amused spectator and, if necessary, the impartial judge to double:zero (occasionally vs cheat:code) food fights / bets / other craziness.

 does it for health purposes than for weight though.

 just wants to try and see if he can pull it off because he doesn't think it will suit him well. (reality: it becomes his most popular concept to the point they question if he really is the prince of heaven or not.)
ix. my spirit animal is a wolf.
 a bit cliche, but in a way, it's true. takes care of his "pack" and protects them fiercely when threatened.
x. to me, cheat:code is my rivals.
 sees them as motivation to improve in a respectful manner. still friends, but also competitors reaching for same goal with any trashtalking seen as teasing.
xi. my ideal type is someone with a big heart.
 in other words, someone who is selfless and caring, like a mother or older sister. but wants to spoil them instead of being spoiled by them. him acting as the protector of the protector. in other words, wants to love someone who loves others more than herself.
xii. i'm the normal one when using the bathroom every morning.
 isn't the longest or shortest in using the bathroom.
xiii. i am usually the one being teased in the squad.
 thinking back on it, double:zero can probably count the number of times hanshik is the one to tease them.
xiv. i post in the squad's instagram account occasionally.
 his posts are usually the factual and informative updates on the group like having a comeback or wishing other celebrities happy birthday. (within the group, another member usually posts fun videos of surprising groupmates on their birthdays, complete with cake fights and pranks and all that fun stuff.)
xv. if one of the squad member is feeling down, i would comfort them (and ask who to kill if it is applicable).
 tends to be more on the side of emotional comfort than cheering them up because he thinks it's best to vent; asks who to kill because no one messes with his loved ones. (if it's from a good movie / book, he oft asks if he should watch / read it and usually does.)

trainee life.
 picked up a gym membership and several part-time jobs to better keep up with the physical training and the housing / eating / etc for his trainee life.
 improved his skills all around during these three years. had the most trouble with dancing, but was decent, another thing that led to his wannam image.
 wrote (and continues to write) letters to the orphanage kids and the caretaker, sending what money he doesn't need / use back to them in busan.
