official hiatus (シ_ _)シ

hi, friends.

i'm pretty sure the title gives it away, but i'm officially going on hiatus. (to be explicit, all of my stories will be considered on hiatus as well - apply fics too.)

i am sorry.

(special apology to all my applicants in particular. in opening the fic, i was implicitly promising to deliver a story that i failed to even start. my fault entirely, and i wish each and every one of you beautiful layouts, amazing fandom merch, and talented authors with a lot more dedication.)

the rest of this is going to be a brief explanation / excuse and some well wishes, so no need to read further unless you are curious / upset / bored / etc:

for those unaware, i haven't been active for months as is; not only on this site, but pretty much all my accounts across platforms. i kept telling myself i'd just acclimate to my job and then jump back in...

well, it's been months, and my job is still kicking my .

(for those who are scared about adulthood: yes, it . no, it's not usually this bad. i just happened to grab my first job at the same time as covid and in a field that i have no actual talent in, so double whammy.)

it actually wasn't too bad at first, but it just went downhill one day and didn't stop.

i'll still open the site now and then to check my messages, but unless they're directly sent to me, i will not be answering them.

if you want to keep in contact more regularly (whether to talk, vent, bounce ideas, fan-spazz, etc), i am open to sharing my discord with the explicit agreement to not share any specific personal info. just pm me, and i can send you my user / number thing.

special thanks to the hoe squad for welcoming me and making my time here so enjoyable. i think about you guys while working and miss when things were simpler.

(i realize that makes me sound like i'm dying, but i'm basically just going to barely be in the chat so apologies in advance. i'll still be here to comment on your beautiful layouts and love your stories every so often. so basically i am a ghost? just not a dead one?)

anyways, thank you all for your patience and understanding, and thanks to aff too for being motivation for me to become a more balanced adult (and hopefully coming back soon).
