BACKGROUND. She is the second child of her, now, broken family. She is closer to her mom and is practically a younger version of her, but way less charming. When Kyungmi was a baby, she was already surrounded by money and success and this made her grow up full of confidence and big ambitions. When she was younger her life
LIFESTYLE. As she is pretty metodic, she wakes up at 5:30 am everyday, takes a shower that lasts exactly 15 minutes, gets dressed and goes downstairs to prepare her breakfast, while on it she would turn on the tv and catch up with the morning news. After that she washes her dishes and goes upstairs to tidy her room and prepare her school stuff, lastly she brushes her teeth and puts make up on. When she's back from school, always changes her clothes and takes a shower, she watches tv, reads or go on SNS until dinner. In her room again she irons her school uniform, do her homework and gets some tea, sometimes she facetimes Yoojung before bed.
On some days she assists to students council reunions or stays at school working on different projects or training with the tenis team, she should be assisting to her italian class too, but she never goes.

Eunjung is a lady boss by nature, she attended to the best economic and bussiness university of the country and she is now the owner and CEO of the biggest hotel chain in Asia and Oceania, while planning to top the rankings on Europe and America too. She travels a lot and having children does not stop her. Kyungmi is her second child and only daughter, this making them extremely close, since kyungmi was a baby, they travel around together at every bussiness trip that Eunjung had. She is almost never at home during weekends, but during school days, she always waits for her children to come home and has dinner with them. She is clever and always knows what's going on, even if she's not there. She isn't really strict with Kyungmi, and even if she knows that her daughter has some flaws, she's totally convinced that Kyungmi will grow up to be as respectable and successfull as her. Bae Byunghyun or "The rooster" as he is called on TV, is a successfull sports reporter, he's well known by appearing on the news at 10 pm, his entire life is his job and his reputation. Since young, he was an outstading student with skills in communication. He and Eunjung divorced when they were 32 years old, their younger child had just born and Kyungmi was 2 years old, they ended in good terms but now that the kids are older they don't talk that much. When they split up he left the house, but remained in Seoul and tried to keep a close relationship with his kids, but given the fact that Kyungmi was inseparable of her mom, she never stayed with him at his house, keeping distance with him, and even nowadays, not calling him or visiting him frequently. He isn't the kind of guy to sit down and have an emotional talk, so he kind of accepts it and remains thankful for the close relationship with his other two children. Seokmin and Sejun are always at his home, even though they live with Eunjung and Kyungmi at gangnam, but Kyungmi just visits her dad during father's day, his birthday, or after christmas, and always in company of her brothers.

He doesn't talk much about his feeling to the family because he feels that everyone is busy all the time, both of his parent are workaholic, and his brother and sister are usually in their own thing, feeling left out since he was young, he isn't super close to anyone in the family, even like that, he -secretly- admires his sister a lot, as he didn't feel his parent being protective or giving him attention, he sees his sister (being really confident and having a strong personality) as someone who would defend him on anything. He spends most of his time at school, and when he is at home he is all day in his room or the studio, as any other teenager.

She is one of the few people that can stand Kyungmi heavy comments. Both have an inmense trust in each other and share everything. While they are at school, they have lunch together and Kyungmi always goes to her class to pick her during breaks, plus they usually left the school together since they live near. When they are alone Yoojung brings out the hidden childis,sensitive and carefree part of Kyungmi, a side of Koko than only she knows.

STUDY HABITS. To be honest Kyungmi doesn't study really often, her efforts are enough to place her at the diamond class, but she's definitely one of the "mediocre" students here, mostly because she sees highschool only as a step in her life, making her way more conscious of her future than the present, same goes to homework and projects, she always work but never demands much of herself. PERSONALITY.
▸ Mingyu is a smart but troublemaker kid, who acts causing ruckus everywhere because he's afraid of not being considered or known. He is inside pretty insecure about him, mostly because in his family he's always treated like he isn't good enough, being immature he express this fear acting like everyone expects him to act, this made him really popular, and being accepted by most people in the school is his comfort zone. He almost never talks in a serious way and he tries to conceal his feelings with loud jokes that are accepted by his friends and minions. Being comfortable only in groups, is normal to see him in all the parties and events of the school.
Out of that he is a really caring and sensitive guy, even if he doesn't give himself space to show it, he is grateful to anyone who helps him or gives him a nice comment.

LOVE STORY.
▸ Mingyu and Kyungmi have known each other for a long time, since Mingyu's father is the owner of the restaurants that works in Kyungmi's mother hotels. They collide since young in coctels, parties and some meetings of both franchises, but they have never say hi or anything, since they are not close and aren't interested on it anyway. They are nowhere close to be friends or anything but their "relationship" starts last summer.
Even if Mingyu's father and Eunjung (KM's mom) has been working together for a long time, their relationship is pure job. Mingyu's family is really conservative, and his father does not see the "dynamic" of Kyungmi's family as a good thing, that's why Mingyu has always heard that they are unscrupulous and that his father "does not know how Raelis has come so far with a WOMAN ceo".
During a coctel in Raelis, that Mingyu did not want to assist, in the first month of summer, he and his father were having a typical fight in the reception, in a low voice, the older one was judging him because he wasn't looking very happy there even if "he was going to be the future ceo of the restaurants, being the older brother", Mingyu was looking defeated, and suddenly Kyungmi (who noticed the situation and was never really happy with Mingyu's father existence) approached them, with a polite-fake smile, asking if everything was okay, this made Mingyu's father really embarrased. Of course this gave way to Mr. Kim to be talking non-stop about how "insolent" Eunjung daughter was, but Mingyu inside was really impressed with her actions, for the first time he was conscious of Kyungmi existence, before that she was just some random and vain girl that was entering the diamond class.
Next month during a new mall opening, both families were present, everything was normal until Bae Byunghyun (KM's dad) appeared at the party, no one was really aware of the family difficult situation, but Mingyu always heard his dad gossiping about it at home. Later the same night, he saw from some meters away, how Byunghyun went to say hi to his daughter and ex-wife, he could see how Eunjung was being extremely polite with him, and some minutes after Byunghyun started a conversation with Kyungmi everything went bad and she walked fast outside the room, with an illegible expression in her face, after that Eunjung and Byunghyun started an argument that wasn't being noticeable for anyone else. Mingyu wasn't really sure of what he was doing when he grabbed a drink and went outside. He found himself facing Kyungmi's back, she was quiet and in complete silence, he didn't really remember her name so he just called her with a soft "hey", she faced him, with a calm and serious expression in her face and didn't say anything, waiting for him to continue. "Are you... fine?" he doubted while talking, becoming aware that they didn't knew each other. It looked like she was about to tell him to go and get into his own stuff when she said "He actually asked me how old i was" she creepily chuckled, not showing any real emotion and not making eye contact with him. "Uh, that " he said really feeling it, but he got embarrased when she slightly laughed at his childish comment, in response he offered her his drink, and after she accepted he went back inside. Some nights after that Mingyu actually questioned if she knew who he was and almost hit himself when he discovered that she was part of the student council, clearly, she knew almost every student in the academy (especially him, who was known for being a troublemaker). As for Kyungmi, she didn't think about it that night, probably because she was too hurt and angry to realize how open she had been with the muscle head of the academy (that probably was such a stupid guy like his dad).
It wasn't until they started the school year that Kyungmi was conscious of him, in fact he was a typical high school kid, handsome, popular, a player, muscle head, arrogant, etc. they were not even near each other in the academy, they had completely different social circles and they did completely different stuff, but Kyungmi couldn't help but feel a little simpathy for him, but she didn't do anything, as if wasn't good for her to be seen with such a loser.
Surprisingly for both, they find themselves being really aware of each other right now, and both hate themselves (being both arrogant) for being a little too desperate of calling each other attention or trying to catch the other one looking at them.
For Kyungmi (who sees all the guys in highschool just as some immature kids) her interest in this guy is hard to understand, also given that she never has liked someone before. For Mingyu, to like such a correct girl would be a juicy gossip around school, so he rejects to accept it out loud.
Sadly for Mingyu, being drunk in a party, he admits to one of his bestfriends Yoon Jeonghan, that he thinks Kyungmi is really pretty, a younger student hears it and spreads the gossip all over the academy. People talks a lot about it, but they see it just as a gossip, because to be honest, Mingyu and Kyungmi are totally opposites, and probably the only time they exchange words is in the detention room, being Kyungmi in charge of watching the students.
Kyungmi gets really embarrased about it, but acts like nothing happened, since she notices is clear to everyone that is "fake", she only tells Yoojung about these weird feelings and she ends the topic.
Mingyu gets daily jokes about it, but just laughs of it and refuses to give explanations.
Even if they act like nothing is happening, their few interactions gets them more and more nervous.

INTERACTION.
▸ They were never close (actually Kyungmi isn't really close with anyone at the diamond class) and they never interacted before. Now that they are the school gossip, they clearly try to avoid each other, not making eye contact if they collide at the door of the room or sitting really far at the cafeteria (but always looking for each other). But now that they actually feel "something" for each other, they have a lot of indirect interactions, for example, Kyungmi is always the dissident opinion in class, and now she sometimes agrees with Mingyu's opinion (that leaves everyone shocked.), also, since Kyungmi is part of the student council and Mingyu usually gets detention, she tries to get him out it when she can. As for Mingyu, who has a larger social circle, that makes him receive more comments about the rumour of him liking Kyungmi, he tries to have minimal to none interaction with her, but to himself, he now pays attention for the first time to the stuff she says or does, also, in the attempt to give a better impression of himself, he speaks differently, trying to look like an educated person and he also tries to get less detentions.

Sadly, she is still kind of immature and way too naive, what made her unable to handle such a hate from the girls that were jealous of her relationship
LOVE STORY.
Momo was the first ever girlfriend that Mingyu actually cared about, they were together for about six months and broke up just before summer, because Momo was tired and sad about all the rumors about him and other girls, which were never truth, but even if she knew, it got way too hard for her to handle. Both were really sad for it, and actually, after their break up, none of them had another girlfriend/boyfriend.
Both took time for themselves during summer, but Mingyu's plan was always to get back with her, and it was still his plan when they entered school, even if he is kinda doing it, Kyungmi existence (and their lame and indirect relationship) is seriously distracting him of it. He is really mad of himself because such a platonic love is taking him away of a real goal, but he starts to question himself about his aim. Does he really still love Momo? Or is he just grateful for the fact that she made him land on earth?.
While Momo is aware of his intentions, she realizes that she still likes him, but somehow, she sees his interest slowing down, and even when she just laughs about the stupid rumour of him liking this weird girl from the students council, she actually starts to worry, and tries to grab his attention back, but fails deeply, when he ends confessing her that he might like someone else now.
Kyungmi didn't know about their relationship until Yoojung comes with the gossip when the rumour about Mingyu liking Kyungmi spreads out. She doesn't really know much about Momo, but knows she is part of the school newspaper, since sometimes they had to coordinate some stuff with the students council. Kyungmi feels a little bit insecure of her, since she has some "advantange" with Mingyu, but she knows Momo is a really sweet girl and wouldn't deserve a bad trait of her.
