First workshop and challenge, Bae Kyungmi

Coursework:

a) For the challenge i immediatly thought of a color explosion, an energy and youth exposition. As for the workshop for Jessica museum opening, i was always thinking in making a youth and classy mix, suitable for hew own style.

b) For Crayon i think that every color suits, the point to have a lot of them together and at the time, representing the colorful madness. As for the workshop i think that blue and white is what fits my idea of the outfit (as mentioned, youth + classy).

c) Crayon's Moodboard.

Outfits.

a) Jessica's museum opening workshop.  Here.  and Crayon challenge Outfit there.

b) I'm really happy with my both outfits, for the workshop I'm confident that I made a classy, young and timeless outfit and for the challenge I just let myself fly and I make an outfit like I had never before, because it isn't something I would make for anyone, but thinking in Gdragon I think it works out well.

Outfit talk:

1. For the workshop, I started with the idea of making something that would fit Jessica Jung's style, something that makes her look classy without putting years on her. Something subtle, but with personality. That's how I started with the pouf style navy blue dress. Navy blue always looks elegant, and the pouf gives a subtle tint of youth, of innocence. The texture of the dress , as same as the texture of the clutch is chosen to give personality to the outfit. The Balenciaga clutch, I choose it to give another young-breeze, over a envelope-style bag, for example. White is always welcome and I choose the long white overcoat to be wear over shoulders, considering a night-opening, to make the outfit comfortable and not just pretty. For the shoes, I choose these Louboutin's peep-toe pumps in a shade, to stylize the silhouette. The jewelry is subtle and I didn't considered any necklace, giving the neck of the dress. All the jewelry is in a silver tone, that fits with Jessica's fair skin. My suggestions for the rest of the styling, are loose hair, to give a relaxed look, a subtle bronze eye makeup and matte wine lips, to add a little drama and make the lips the protagonist, I also suggested wine for nails, it looks elegant and matches navy blue.

2. For Crayon's outfit, the first thing I made was rewatch Crayon's video, and the first thing that came to mind was Moschino's latest 2015 collection, a lot of colors and expressive clothes, just like the concept. I studied this clothes and I even choose one of them, but not as a coat, I made it more wearable by making a sporty sweatshirt, conserving the pattern. This sweatshirt is to be used open, over the shirt, which, same as pants, is more subtle, actually because this two clothes, I used them as a "base" for the outfit, so I gone overboard, fitting the concept, in the rest of the pieces. As seen in the moodboard, I was struggling bbetween gold or black sneakers, finally, I decided to have both, using a moschino pair that is black with the moschino signature in gold. In accessories, I followed the video's idea using gold. All the accessories are settled to give a "messy" and abundance look to the outfit. The belt is Moschino, same as the bracelet, personally I don't think that the concept limits me in using gender tagged accessories, so used this one even if it's seller as woman's bracelet. The sunglasses, necklace, ring and cufflinks have a showy pattern and design, specially the cufflinks which recreate designs from the video, all this is finished with another accessory in gold and black, the watch. I personally think that this outfit fits Gdragon a lot, as for the video or an event.
