What is up everyone~? 

To all my friends and non-friends, either or, whatever it is, to those who still check the blog section. Gosh, it's been some time. Last blog I posted was in, April. April, ya'll. And not just any April ya'll, April 2016. That's like... 2 years ago!! And now I'm back, with a blog, on the 24th (could be 23rd or 25th, depending on your country) of April, and I've come, full circle. Actually, I posted up a fic sometime last year if I'm not mistaken. But then promptly took it down, for, issues. I won't disclose em - maybe not in detail, but it's more of a private, personal matter. I might post up something else but that too depends on my mood. 

But enough about that! 

I could go on and on, as to how and why I've been so quiet and missing. In short: college. And booooooyyy is college a whole ride. But I won't go into specifics! No, the more in my title, is related to the first word to my Blog Title. 

PIERCINGS!!!

Okay, so, I wasn't really a big enthusiast on piercings when I was younger. Not to say I'm completely against piercings, I just, never saw the appeal. That was, until, I heard of double helixes. Now, I've seen double helixes, knew what they were called, where they're placed on the ear, only ever called them a cartilage piercing, but never really thought you could have more than 1 on your cartilage so 2 for me is a BIG DEAL, and BoA has THREE. She queen. OKAY! Moving on. Just to give you a better idea if you don't know what helix piercings are.

Now, the reason why I'm bringing this up is because of a certain idol member's double helixes. Now, I did my fair share of research on who's who's piercings and I can tell you this, I have newfound respect to some of em, i.e. Eunji of A Pink, INFINITE's SeungYeol, KARD's JiWoo and NCT's Ten. Not because of their helixes (but more for the conch and rooks I mean, rooks look painful) but more for the number of piercings they have. True I'm limiting myself to ears here. I've yet to see anyone with an eyebrow bar or a snakebite. Mark's was pretty surprising and a little interesting but if I were to get one, it's more of a midline more so a frenulum. 

So yeah, this idol - if you're an ARMY, you would know that Jung Kook got a double helix in, like, what... March? May? Of last year? And... my question is, when had he changed his studs to hoops? Because I saw a post somewhere, Tumblr? Instagram? Mentioning something about him changing it out before the supposed time you give for it to heal? Does that make sense? All I'm asking, is when did he change it to hoops. That's all I'm asking. A few months? 3? 6? Because I am just itching to change mine... 

But I know better. I'm going to have to wait longer than 3 because these babies have their flare ups from time to time. 

If you guys want to know, I currently have 10 piercings, 5 on each ear. Which is a feat, because when I was like, 9, I cried my heart out just watching my sister get her lobes done. I don't know why, I was so scared. So yeah, refrained all these years. And now I'm rocking 10 piercings and wanting more. I wasn't really inspired by Jung Kook so to speak, but they were pretty. But the real, driving force that got me to go to a piercer was when my sister shared with me her friend's little escape journey to a piercers to get double helixes on both ears. It was then my sister and I thought, wow, let's get double helixes on both our ears too. Initially, we were going to get it on our birthdays, but my sister was feeling especially stressed lately and needed an outlet - so we expedited it! 

While my sis got 4 piercings done (2 helixes on each ear); I had 6 done, which was a double helix and 1 lobe, on both ears. Proud of myself, really. Fast forward 2 months later and I added 4 more, another 2 on the upper lobe of my ears, while my sis got 2 on her lobes. She still has 2 piercings lesser than me. I never thought I'd be here today, but here I am now, 10 piercings and counting. In the future I hope to get a conch in each ear and a tragus as well as a rook in my other ear. It won't be symmetrical anymore. Till then, gotta save some money because I'm broke af. 

BACK TO THE QUESTION AT HAND. Do you guys know when Jung Kook changed out his double helix studs for hoops?
