WELCOME TO MY WORLD. 

personality — Chaerin is a very caring person, always thinking of others before herself. She's very compassionate and tends to show a lot of kindness towards those around her, even though they may be strangers. When it comes to those closest to her, Chaerin is  very understanding and shows a lot of affection towards them and their wellbeing. Overall, Chaerin is a friendly person. She gets along with other people easily, not being the type to struggle when it comes to social interactions. Most people find her easy to approach due to her bright smile and bubbly personality. Growing up, Chaerin has always been very athletic. She cares about her health and likes to be and stay active. Often times, Chaerin will try and help those around her to also be active like she is.

When nervous, Chaerin can be very talkative. It can often be annoying to those around her as she can generally just apeak utter gibberish. She often just says random things which also tends to confuse many people. Chaerin is a quirky person, appearing odd to those around her. Again, when nervous, she does things that don't make sense. Like, for example, stating random health facts and benefits even if those around her didn't ask for them. As you can tell, Chaerin is generally a nervous person. She worries for those she cares about, mostly due to her overly caring personality. She can come off as high strung, which can often make it hard to be around her.

STRENGTHS — tri-lingual, a health major, active, healthy, strong.

WEAKNESSes — cares for others before herself, impulsive, doesn't handle conflict well, tends to be bossy when in a panic. 

plotline — The Surprising Girlfriend - Chaerin is headed to Australia to surprise Jackson for his birthday since he will be away for it. Jackson has no idea she is on the plane or that she is going to surprise him for his birthday.

background — Yoo Chaerin was born on April 4th, 1994 to her parents Yoo Jaebum and Yoo Hayeon. She is the second out of three children, her older sister being 6 years older than her and her younger sister being 5 years younger than her. Growing up, Chaerin spent a lot of time with her older sister and with her fatther whenever he was able to be there. From a young age, Chaerin has always been active and healthy. She enjoyed the outings her father would take her family on. When she was 18, her sister begged her to audition for JK Entertainment to become idol trainees. Her sister failed but Chaerin was accepted and became a trainee. Under the agency, Chaerin met Kim Jongkook. After only a few conversations, they became friends. It was Jongkook who convinced her to end her idol trainee career and to go to school for health. He saw how pasionate she was about it and wanted her to do something that actually made her happy. After leaving the trainee life behind, Chaerin decided to study abroad in Hong Kong for health. Here she learned Chinese and made a lot of friends, eventually meeting her future boyfriend, Jackson. After finding it hard to maintain her relationship with Jackson, Chaerin transferred schools and came to Seoul. Currently Chaerin is studying at Seoul University while dating the ever busy Wang Jackson.

▪ Yoo Jaebum | 49 | Father - Delivery Driver

▪ Chaerin is very close with her father. He raised her and her siblings by teaching them how to stay active, fish, camp, and enjoy life to the fullest. Even though he was usually busy with work he made it a point to always be there for them and to be supportive of his children no matter what they were doing.

▪ Yoo Hayeon | 48  | Mother - Seamstress 

▪ Chaerin is also close to her mother. Her mother raised her children with a lot of compassion and support. Her mother didn't have a very supportive family so she knew that when she had children that she wanted them to have a better life. She taught Chaerin how to sow and knit and some basic cooking skills.

▪ Lee Hye-rin | 30  | Older Sister - Coffee Shop Manager

▪ Haerin and Chaerin were pretty close growing up. They did a lot of things together and even audtioned to become idols together. Even though their idol dreams didn't come true they continue to be close today.

▪ Yoo Bo-rin  | 19  | Younger Sister - High School Student 

▪ These two aren't very close. Borin is very head strong and intependant. She never really wants to hang out with her siblings or her family, she always wants to be out with friends. She's a bit of a rebel and tends to be in trouble a lot.

▪ Lee Donghyuk  | 2  | Nephew

▪ Chaerin absolutley loves Donghyuk! She watches him all the time and buys him cute things. She enjoys watching him play and grow.

▪ Lee Jinyoung | 33  | Brother-In-Law - Head Manager at Lotte Mall 

▪ Is the husband of Hye-rin. Chaerin isn't very close to him but when she comes to visit her sister she enjoys having conversations and spending time with him.

▪ Kim Jong Kook | 41 | Friend and Role Model

▪ These two met at Jongkook's entertainment agency and became friends after learning they had a lot in common. They sometimes go to the gym together and he gives her pointers on health and exercises.

▪ Zhang Shufen | 24  | Friend from University

▪ These two had many classes together and studied together. They became close because of school and still talk a lot even though Chaerin no longer attends the same University as her. 

▪ Gao Xiuying | 29  | Friend

▪ Xiuying was Chaerin's first friend in Hong Kong. They shared a dorm and became very close. Xiuying was the one who set Jackson and Chaerin up at her wedding.

▪ Kim Minah | 23  | Best Friend

▪ Chaerin and Minah have been friends since grade school. They are very close and tell eachother everything.

relationship  — Jackson and Chaerin have been dating for almost a year now. They met in Hong Kong at a mutual friends wedding. They ended up sticking together for the whole wedding and spent the night together. After that they kept in contact for a month and occasionaly met up for dates when finally Jackson asked her to be his girlfriend. Though it is difficult for them to date because of Jackson being famous, they have a very strong relationship. They find whatever time they can to be with each other. Their friends and family call them newly weds because they act so lovey dovey just like a newly wed couple would.
