real/fiction.

it was only at the beginning of last year that i found out what fanfiction is all about. personally i think it is a totally different genre altogether. i also learn that some write about fictional characters in movies/dramas/comics and some write about their favourite pair of people/actor/singers/entertainers/celebrities. over the past months, i have come across several school of thoughts when it comes to writing fanfictions, especially in a certain fandom. at first i was surprised and intrigued by the discussions/discourse but that slowly turned into utter dismay, even disgust at times. right now, i am slowly becoming unfeeling and unaffected by anything that i read, with regards to fanfiction - unless its positive comments, healthy discussions, respectful feedback. i just want to enjoy reading, appreciating and maybe, writing them. two things i always try to remember - one, we can choose what to read or not to read and two, they are all fiction.

ps : the worst thing about being unfeeling/unaffected is, it affects the ability to emote and express in written form. sigh.
