ROGUE. SHIN HYUNWOOK
nickname(s)
+ Hyunnie; the most often-used nickname by his friends, family, and fans
+ Japanese; being his mother's language, the Shin family often speaks it in the house. Fluent.
An outfit that he really likes is a white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, one shirt tail untucked, black belt holding up tight black pants with a pair of laced-up combat boots (image). He often forgoes a jacket, though if necessary would grudgingly wear a long wool jacket that does nothing against the cold. On colder days, he wears a dark-coloured sweater that is slightly too large, or sometimes white turtlenecks with tight black pants, and again, his combat boots. In the summer, he likes to wear a dress shirt too, though short-sleeved ones and a hoodie which he often loves to draw over his messy and tousled black locks.
— Neutral: a bit of a drama queen (but only very very very tiny)
— Negative: impatient, sarcastic, blunt, somewhat rude (but is actually just blunt, and swears a lot)
personality
He's somewhat outgoing as well, always likes to introduce himself to people whom he has taken an interest in and doesn't shy away from te companion of people, or is he shy himself.
He's also a teensy bit of a drama queen, and somewhat like his fellow triple threat idol Kim Kibum. Hyunwook, however does not show this side of him when he throws a fit - meaning, he doesn't use it to get something he wants. This side usually shows during variety shows, and is mostly for humour purposes.
However, Hyunwook's flaw is his short temper and impatience. He doesn't really like waiting for something, and can be seen getting more and more frustrated when s dawdle over something that doesn't need to take such a long time. He's also sarcastic, and this is constantly on show, though it's mostly an endearing sense of sarcasm instead of really hurting - but it can sometimes unconsciously hurt someone. His mouth doesn't have a filter either, and he likes speaking his mind, which of course includes his constant swearing, and which people find offensive as well.

Shin Jineul, in Hyunwook's opinion, is the most annoying and mischievous family member in his entire family (which is saying something). While the two don't see each other that often, when they meet, they become something akin to a pack of troublemakers who constantly prank Jineul's classmates (because pranking Hyunwook's colleagues is a very dangerous and risky action). Jineul likes takng Hyunwook out, to drink bubble tea, to go window shopping, basically just to take him out and talk and prank people. Even though Jineul appears to have the mentality of a three year-old, he's mature when he has to be, and often offers a ear and shoulder to rant to and cry on.
After Hyunwook managed to get himself in YG, he started to be nervous due to his role model being in the same agency. He doesn't really see much of Jiyong due to the other's extremely hectic schedule, but when he does, he takes most of the chance to try and introduce himself or something so JIyong could slightly notice him. He's sort of a fanboy around the idol, but vows to one day catch up with him and stand on the same stage because Jiyong's words had inspired him; Work until your idols become your rivals.
Jung Daehyun is generally a charismatic person onstage, never failing to show his best side and his amazing vocals in front of an audience. He is also caring, as he goes out of his way to check on Hyunwook and his own friends, and likes to show affection to his closer friends, which is mostly displayed in the forms of bone-crushing hugs or kisses to the cheek that others, especially Hyunwook cringes at.
He's also sarcastic, and likes to play and tease others a lot, as shown from him playfully hitting s, and dissing them on stage in front of the fans as well. Of course, the members know he doesn't mean it, so they're generally fine with it. This playful side can be seen when the two plays video games together, as they can become overly excited and hit each other. They ultimately make up though, so it's fine.
Due to him also having a sarcastic side, Daehyun and Hyunwook can be seen arguing about the most stupidest of things, and fighting with each other, though it's often in a playful way. However, he also has his own pride, and thus, when the two truly fights or argues, it's definitely not pretty.
Hyunwook first met Daehyun when he was visiting his brother during training. Hoseok had quite a lot of friends, including Jongup who was at TS. One day, Jongup invited him over to practice dancing, and being bored and having nothing better to do, Hyunwook went along and watched. There, he met Daehyun and Youngjae, both of which left quite an impression on him due to their vocal skills and his needing improvement. He then asks them for advice, but since he ended up being assigned the rapper role, he soon dropped it and went back to being friends.
After BAP's debut, they still kept in touch, yet not as frequent because the newly-debuted idols are quite busy. Youngjae, being wrapped up in a lot of other things soon ceased contact with Hyunwook, but Daehyun didn't, and continued to communicate with him. They became closer throughout the years, even though they don't see a lot of each other. Whenever Hyunwook goes back to Korea, he always visits Daehyun, and the two likes to hang out.
They both knew that their feelings aren't just simply feelings of friends, but both are afraid to confess due to them being afraid of the friendship between them being broken, so they're still friends, yet not quite. Daehyun likes making advances to Hyunwook, which are always received positively, and also likes taking care of him, which Hyunwook likes to say that I do not need your goddamn mothering thank you very much.
Despite that, they're quite close in terms of mentally and physically, with both not ashamed of displaying skinship in public, yet, it's a playful sort of skinship. So everything is really just playful between them, for now, until one of them takes the initiative to do something further. They're friends, yet not quite ;).
— daehyun loves Persephone, and likes cuddling her whenever Hyunwook brings her.
— Hyunwook, whenever they cuddle, have a habit of burying his nose into his boyfriend's neck and inhale his scent
— If and when they have the chance to sleep together, Hyunwook would most probably steal all the covers and Jaebum would most probably just roll over and cuddle the other so they can be warm together.
— Hyunwook has a habit of hitting his boyfriend (affectionately) and daehyun has a habit of kicking him back in return
— daehyun likes calling Hyunwook 'fluffball', and likes teasing him [warning: do not do this or you would be murdered]
— daehyun vowed to be at Hyunwook's debut stage
— JIneul swore, in front of daehyun that if he ever makes Hyunwook cry anything except tears of joy he would brutally maul him to death
Hyunwook, with the training of following his mother's footsteps (literally, you know, in dancing) and his father's music, agonised over his career choices, consulted his older brother and even cousin, who was a trainee at YG, and finally decided to audition for both JYP and yg. He got accepted by both, but went to yg and he found out that this was the place he really belonged to. While not enjoying himself most of the time, he liked YG due to the style of music. Even though he was quite young at the time he started training,
When the debut of iKon came, he was excited because he knew he would be in the lineup - until he wasn't. Disappointed, Hyunwook continued to train, harder than ever in order to let Yang Hyunsuk know just how good he is - and for him to finally choose him for the next debut lineup.
Once rogue was announced, Hyunwook didn't dare get his hopes too high up due to his emotions being quite messed up the time prior. This time, he got chosen, and was relieved that his hard work paid off. But after that, he quickly forced his emotions down - because debut is only the beginning, and what lies in the future ahead is way difficult than just training.
