Today, we mourn a star that shined brightly on stage for ten years,  a human being who embodied the peace and love this world desperately needs, and a tortured soul who bravely showed the utmost compassionate sympathy for even the most lost souls. His undying devotion through every expression of his craft, big or small, touched so many.

     We will not just remember him for the mere glamification of his image as an idol on a pedestal, high above the public, but also as a down-to-earth crusader on the same level as those who had lost their voice and forgotten the feeling of genuine love. Through his talent, he showed us the true meaning of creating art — connecting strangers and the estranged together in harmony as one human family. His sense of humanity will never, ever, be forgotten.

     May your soul receive the best peaceful rest that it has so desired for many long years, Kim Jonghyun.
