her confidence is one of her strongest traits. she always has her head held high and doesn't let others pull her down. she has no problem voicing out her thoughts and opinions. she believes strongly in herself and she knows she can do a good job.

she's also really observant. she likes watching people, her surroundings, everything. from the smell of the morning dew, the coldness of a winter night, how the sun shines through the trees. she can see the good in the bad and the bad in the good. because she’s observant, she can predict what other people are thinking or what they feel as of that moment by just their facial expressions and body language. this side of her shows that she's a real softie and is very caring towards everything and everyone.

she is a perfect example of a mischief maker. she projects an aura of freshness and enthusiasm. she likes to cause trouble and prank people in a playful way, all with good intentions of course. she likes to liven up the atmosphere with her humorous stories and jokes and sometimes lame ones as well. she'll laugh at her lames ones which makes the whole room laugh with her. she's also always down for new experiences and anything that can give her a smile or laugh when reminiscing about it. she enjoys making people smile and laugh and it calms her and she doesn't know why. she is a master of communication and is a very amusing and gifted entertainer. fun and variety are guaranteed when she is around. have her as a friend, you will never be bored; with her, you can enjoy life to the full and celebrate the best parties.

ardene is a person who accepts a person as they are. she doesn't really care about what other people label them, as long as she knows what kind of person they are, she wouldn't take other people's judgment. she's willing to embrace change and and try new things. she gets bored when things are repetitive. she respects each person's difference and encourages them to be proud of themselves. she doesn't label people other than those b*stards who are worthless and all that.

ardene is really a boyish girl. maybe because of growing up with a dad and a twin brother. she's always down for anything and loves the thrill. bungee jumping, sky diving, you name it. she's pretty relaxed with herself and around people and doesn't mind ruining her image. she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty but well she is afraid of cockroaches and spiders. she likes skateboarding with her brother and other friends.

a typical pisces trait. she is a pretty emotional and sensitive person. she is easily touched or easily hurt by things or people. she cries easily and is labeled a cry baby by some. but her emotions are genuine and real. she will most likely be the first one to cry in a sad drama or movie. she is also pretty good hiding her real emotions though, especially if she doesn't want to cause worry to people.

everything she does is really extra and unpredictable. from her reactions to her imitations and all. she's like a living meme and people can't help but laugh and enjoy. but sometimes it can be cringeworthy but still funny. she does stuff out of the box and out of the norm. it's no surprise if one of her antics trends and becomes viral. she also has a weird way of explaining her thoughts and stuff. she basically doesn't care about her image, which gets her scolded. she also out of nowhere asks senseless and nonsense questions that makes you go wtf at her.

she speaks fluent sarcasm. she gets irritated when she says something that is the furthest thing from serious, but the person she's talking to just doesn’t understand her sarcasm. when she meets someone and she instantly hates them, she has a super hard time hiding it. she kinda got the habit of ending sentences with 'just kidding' or 'it was a joke' to lighten things up when everyone got silet or something. since she's known to be mischievous and funny, people don't get when she's being sarcastic or being funny and it irritates her a lot, which draws out her sarcasm even more.

ardene is arrogant. growing up and getting used to being labelled as perfect by people got in her head. she has that overbearing pride and thinks she knows things more than she actually does. she loves displaying her elevated opinion and will act high and mighty. she just loves to be the center of attention and hates it when someone steals her spotlight. she diminishes others to make herself feel more superior. she kinda has a superiority complex. she is also aggressive.
"wtf is happening over here?"
ardene tends to intrude in other people's business. this trait links to her high mindedness. she thinks that she can help by meddling with other people's problems. though she has a good mindset about it, it comes off as annoying and irrelevant to many. she's always curious about what other people are talking or whispering about and can't help but want to know.

she is a living example of brutal yet awesome. she speaks her mind, thoughts and opinions freely, without holding back. if she knows you're at fault, she will no doubt confront you about it. she doesn't mind you disliking her or think of her negatively. she's the person who did or said something nobody else had the guts to. she doesn't care about the consequences of her actions. her words can be really harsh to the point of making the other party cry.

ardene was born in sydney, australia to korean parents. she also has an older brother of 3 years. growing up, ardene loved the ocean. their father would take them to the beach and sometimes they would accompany him at his work when they go by boat to the sea. they would also go hiking, camping and fishing during the their summer breaks. ardene grew up pretty adventurous and boyish. still she never had taken a liking to insects though. she took up piano since she was four years old well just because she has an asian mom and asian mom's usually enroll their kids in stuff. she took a liking to it though but she can't seem to fully love it. she was more of a 'fun and active' kind of girl.

when she was 6, she confessed this to her brother. her brother then invited her to watch him in his dance classes (he took up hip hop classes the same year ardene started piano as well, since he already started with his taekwondo lessons before, which is like a common thing for sons to learn if you're korean lol). while watching him, she can't help but bob her head to the rhythm. seeing this, the dance instructor encouraged her to try it out. surprisingly she had a natural talent as said by the instructor and well she had a lot of fun and asked her parents to let her take dance class as well with much pleading towards her mom since her dad wants what his daughter wants. so since she was 6, she started hip hop classes. she gradually started branching out towards other dance genres such as popping, locking and even break dancing. though she considered hip hop as her forte. she still focused on her piano, because her mom wanted her to at least learn the piano to contrast with her hip hop. when she was 8, her parents got divorced, reason still unknown to the siblings and her dad won custody over the two siblings because he has a high paying job (he's a medical oncologist, granddad died from cancer, he wanted to be a person that can cure cancer, random fact lol) her mother was only a housewife. it affected her relationship with her dad, but he reasoned out that he'll explain once they get older. academic wise, she does really well in school being an all a student with an average gpa of 3.21. her family was also active members of the church as well as its choir. she's a pretty good singer and enjoyed singing as well, but still prefered dancing.

in 2012, her brother came across an article about yg entertainment having auditions in sydney. ardene was lying on his bed, eating cereal while having a harry potter marathon (for the umpteenth time). he took his stress ball that was on his desk and threw it at her, and successfully hit her cheek, which made the spoon full of cereal almost spill on her. after ardene spitted fire on her brother, he showed her the article. he jokingly said she should try it out. ardene looked at the article and then at her brother with a serious expression. then with a smirk, she told him she was down. so for the remaining weeks before the actual audition, ardene practiced a dance routine and chose a song that fits her vocal range.

+ LIKES /
- food ; she is a huge foodie and loves to stuff herself real good
- purple ; she would literally go gaga over any shade of purple, her spirit color
- shoes ; she loves them and buying them and just displaying them in her room. has a big collection and treats every pair like her baby
- cool places/weather ; she just likes the feeling of the cool air brushing against her skin
- cereal ; she loves all kinds of cereal, every week she buys a new flavor because one cereal box can only last a week for her. always brings a container with cereal anywhere. then she buys milk at convenience stores. she can eat it in the morning, afternoon and evening
- caffeine ; if not cereal, then coffee. especially iced americano and hot cafe latte.
- harry potter ; she is an avid potterhead.
- dogs & cats ; she loves animals in general but loves dogs and cats a whole lot more. planning on owning a shiba inu or a russian blue cat or a beagle or a siamese or a golden retriever or a bengal or *continuous blabbling*
- cute animal videos ; she'll be watching these videos anytime anywhere coz they so cute and they're her stress reliever

- tomatoes ; she hates them just no. she can't eat them nor smell them, or else she might puke
- hot places/weather ; she loves the outdoors but the heat she can't love

- garlic ; it tastes bitter for her. doesn't add it in her samgyeopsal wrap
- wasting food ; she would rather finish everything on the table even though her stomach's gonna burst than waste food

- horror stuff ; don't take her to watch horror movies coz she'll mostly likely waste the ticket money by hiding her face behind her popcorn all through out the movie
- rules ; she's a girl who doesn't like to feel restricted because she likes to be creative and to be herself all the time

- rudeness ; this is a definite no no for her. she's a girl who respects everyone and shows kindness to whoever, be rude to her and well just be ready to run and escape

- joints ; she cracks her joints when she's stressed or nervous, she can crack her neck, back, knuckles, wrists and ankles.
- eye contact ; she stares at people's eyes when they are talking or when they're talking to her. never averts her eye sight, some people gets caught of guard to see her stare so intensely

- dance ; she likes to practice dancing on her own or choreograph, attends 1million classes when she has time
- snooze ; she likes to sleep when she's got nothing better to do, let's her catch up with much needed sleep and rest due to busy schedules
- shoe shopping ; loves this be it online or the real deal. it's like her stress reliever other than music and cute animal videos. mostly shops vans, puma, adidas, dr. martens, timberland, converse
- sea stuff ; whenever she's at the beach or near the sea, she looks for shells, glass and trinkets that she'll add to her collection. her collection started back in sydney
- photography and videography ; she likes to take photos and videos of everything. she usually uses instax for picture taking and she would compile it in an album
- thrift shopping ; she likes to go to different thrift shops and well just look through the clothes and leave the place with a lot of bags

- athlete ; she's naturally sporty and does good in any sports but she hates running
- meme queen ; she's a walking meme and everybody knows it. she doesn't care about her image and can easily throw her idol reputation just to bring laughter

- chef ; mainly because she used to be the cook of their household back in sydney, if she wasn't scouted she'll be a chef, still trying to pursue as a side line job maybe
- special talents ; she can imitate stitch, jimin's part and expression in blood, sweat, tears, and pucca's theme song, she covers kpop group dances really accurately as well (common talent tho), knows how to fix cars and motorbikes, plus skateboards as well, know hot to upgrade them (all thanks to her dad's love of cars and motorbikes and her brother's skating hobby)
- at home/dorm ; at home she likes wearing oversized shirts or sweaters with boxer shorts, she wears her prescription glasses too
- cry baby ; she easily cries at sad stories, movies or videos. especially watching her favorite shows. she cries at anime episodes too even when there's no sad scene, it's because her feels are over flowing
- merchandises ; she has harry potter merchandises in her side of the room, and her shelves are full of them, walls are full of posters too
- collection ; she has a harry potter collection, mugs, shirts, merch, you name it, she loves harry potter and the fans know it

"oi. what on earth are you doing here?" she asked as she stood up from the floor then approached felix. "as of today, i'm a jyp trainee." felix said smiling at ardene playfully. ardene had open from shock before shoving felix lightly. "well why didn't you tell me you bloke." felix laughed at her. "i wanted to suprise you is all." felix calmed down and opened up his arms. ardene smiled warmly before wrapping her arms around felix. "missed you so bloody much lixie." ardene said through felix's chest. "missed you too arie." when they parted. ardene scanned felix. "how the bloody hell did you grow so fast. you were just this small last time i saw you." she put up to her eye level. "puberty." felix said amused at ardene's reaction. "puberty my rump. you're still a baby in my eyes lixie." she said as she ruffled his hair.

even though they're from different companies, they usually go eat together and ardene showed him around when she wasn't busy. she also helped him in his korean through face time, though she wasn't a very good teacher since she also has a hard time in korean. she also critiqued his dancing, rapping and singing which he sends through videos to her. when they aren't training, they would go out and catch up with each other. felix would share his burdens and ardene would help him with encouraging words and advises. since their families are not in korea, they stick to each other a lot. 

felix often calls her to recieve strength and energy. when he told ardene about the debuting survival show by jyp, she made sure that he wasn't overstressing himself. she treated him to whatever he wanted the night before the trainee showcase. they ended it with hot choco by the han river. when felix told her that stray kids will be having a battle against yg trainees, ardene started praising the yg boys telling felix that there's this trainee with tremendous talent in singing (bang yedam) and told felix that the trainee's voice is the tone she liked. felix got irritated and told her to meet him at the yg building before ending the call much to ardene's amusement. the day of the battle arrived and ardene waited by the lobby of the building. she saw jyp and stray kids enter and bowed to them asa greeting. felix quickly went towards her with open arms. which ardene gladly did too and hugged him.

"hey arie." felix greeted before letting ardene go. "hey." she smiled up at him. then she greeted the other again. jyp approached them. "you must be the childhood friend felix mentioned." ardene nodded and bowed. "nice to meet you." jyp smiled offering his hand, ardene politely shook his hand while bowing. jyp walked away and she was face to face with the stray kids members. "so this is ardene, the reason i'm a trainee now." felix explained while resting his arm on ardene's head. ardene scrunched her nose in amusement then looked up at felix. "ew." felix turned to her. "what do you mean ew?" "have you been telling people that? that's just embarrassing lixie, please stop with that." ardene chuckled while patting felix's back. everyone laughed and then she wished them good luck.

when felix got eliminated from stray kids, he immediately called ardene and confessed his struggles and pain. they went out together, felix in a cap and mask, and just hung out by han river. ardene stayed with felix until she was sure he was okay.

being childhood friends, they know everything about each other from the other's favorite food to each other's quirks. they went through each other's problems and achievements and always had each other's backs. they both seen the best and the worst of each other and they don't think less of each other because of it. they're like each other's conscience, they would always tell the other off from doing something they might regret. they're both pros at knowing what each other is feeling. they're honest with each other and tell each other everything. even if they don't talk for days, or years for that fact, when they meet, there's no stopping their conversations. they can do anything with each other, from skateboarding or even shopping (much to felix's dismay lol, he'll have to carry ardene's stuff hahaha). they always have an amazing time together. felix also knows of ardene's past relationships and went through her break ups with her, even if it was only via calls and messages, he always looked out for her. and ardene would do the same for him, even though he has never had a girlfriend before.

the first to develop feelings for the other was felix. you can say it started when he saw her after years of separation. her hair was a mess from dancing and had a funny shocked expression but he didn't care and was seriously ecstatic to see her. ardene on the other hand was awestruck at felix's growth and she admitted that he looked bloody good from the little wimpy kid she knew before (though felix also took taekwondo lessons). their relationship stayed the same but then felix became a bit flirty with ardene. she shrugs off his advances and will act as if it was a joke. she keeps on emphasizing that he's a baby brother to her and will forever be a baby in her eyes. this irritated felix and well he wanted for her to see him as a man. ardene realized this but still didn't take his advances seriously.

singing and rapping twin kassy (link) ;  her voice has a unique vocal tone that sounds drunk-like and has a laid back kind of vibe, sounds a bit lazy but attractive to the ears. when she sings or raps, she still has that accent. her second best skill, she's a pretty strong vocal tho not near the level of a main vocal, she's still considered better than some group's main vocals. tho she sometimes forces notes, she promised herself to get proper vocal training outside yg. her rapping is the opposite of her singing, stronger and with force tho she has a problem with her pronounciation sometimes. tho not her best skills, she has improved drastically from when she first started training

dance twin girin jang (link) dancing for her is like breathing. she is quick at learning and can easily follow the choreography and can get it down immediately. she's pretty versatile and can adapt to different genres of dance. though she finds it hard to do cute dances, she doesn't show it and will still act professionally. her facial expressions when dancing is considered to be one of the best. ardene's dance style is more powerful, hard-hitting and hip hop style that shows natural swag and sharpness.
