Shin Eunyeon has, like her brother Hyunwook, pale skin that seems to have never seen the sunlight, almond eyes that are mostly seen to be dancing with mischief, but confidence. Her long chestnut coloured hair (dyed, of course) has streaks of orange in it, and if she wears it in front, it goes down to her chest. She has a generally slim build, with graceful limbs that makes her dancing even more beautiful. While she might seem fragile, don't be fooled by her exterior. She knows hapkido, so watch out.
⟪ FASHION STYLE ⟫
Eunyeon doesn't really care about what she wears. When she goes out, she prefers boyish clothes like jeans, hoodies, and plaid shirts. One outfit that she likes is a white shirt with a red checkered plaid shirt thrown on top, sometimes a hoodie over that if she feels cold, jeans, and trainers, or combat boots. She likes wearing jewellry too, but really subtle ones like a small necklace with a tiny charm.
However, she does like wearing skirts once in a while, and shows her girlish side by letting her hair down (as she often wears it up, or ties it loosely and throw it over her shoulder). She wears a shirt, like always, but a small skirt that goes down to her knees, or if she's feeling daring, above it, and her trademark combat boots, and lastly, a cardigan on top.
Oh, and she likes stealing her brothers' clothes, so sometimes you can see Hyunwook's fashion on her.

⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫
The first thing people generally notices about Eunyeon is her confidence on stage, because she particularly oozes it, even if she's not a rapper. Most of the audience's eyes are fixated on her when she dances, and she knows it. And she loves it too, because she knows that she can show off her best qualities on stage. To her, it's a huge achievement, and while she's proud of it, she's thankful too.
She knows how to have fun, and constantly is the first to suggest different games or to do things that the hosts on variety shows asks. Because of this, she appears to others as easy-going in her group, because she also often has a smile on her face whenever she agrees to playing. However, once she starts an activity, her personality develops a 180 degree change. Eunyeon becomes extremely competitive, and can do anything to win, even 'accidentally' (alright, sometimes it wasn't on purpose) using her hapkido skills to stop her teammates. She always apologises or makes up with them later though, so the manager isn't worried. Too much.
Even though she knows her own skills and how to use them, she is still hard-working and determined, never failing to hit the practice rooms late at night to train, and fixes her eyes on her goals constantly. Being so determined, Eunyeon can be seen to break her body due to her wanting to achieve her goals, and getting fustrated over injuries or sicknesses.
She's also friendly, always seen to introduce herself to others she'd never met, or taking the initiative to talk to those who might be uncomfortable in a situation. Being helpful, Eunyeon is quite busy helping those in need, and always is willing to offer a willing ear to those who need to rant.
Being so competitive and determined, it won't come to a surprise to those around her that she's really passionate in everything she does. However, what others don't see is her constant swearing or annoyance in not able to achieve something, such as not getting a dance move perfect despite it actually being right, or her generally short temper. She's also sarcastic just like the rest of her family, never failing to shoot a sarcastic remark at her members, and sometimes, being particularly foul-tempered, hurtful to her new members, whom she secretly had harbored hate for.
Eunyeon is also stubborn, as she generally wants her way with everything. Being the youngest in the family, as well as the younger sister of two extremely doting brothers, it's no wonder that she's slightly spoiled. That's why she wants her way with quite a lot of things, but being one of the older members in the group, she tries to play down this side, and only lets it to show when she's around her family or Jaehwan.
⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫
Shin Eunyeon was born in Shanghai, China, in a particularly breezy spring afternoon. When she arrived in the world, she was immediately received with smiles and hugs by the rest of her family. However, she instead had let out a blood-curdling scream that jolted the eardrums of her sensitive grandmother.
She went through the rest of her childhood pretty much sheltered, since Hoseok is a force to reckon with, not to mention Hyunwook, that sneaky little . The rest of the boys in her class who dared to bully her were all frightened away by her two brothers, so she was pretty loved by the rest of her classmates.
However, once she graduated from primary school, she realised that there are a lot of things she had to learn about being a responsible and sensible person after a particularly nasty run-in with one of the upperclassmen that she admired, so she distanced herself from the others, particularly her brothers, and spoke only when needed to, and generally became withdrawn.
From then on, the teasings of her classmates became more severe, especially when it comes to her brothers defending her from others. She was also excelling in class, so her classmates started calling her 'teacher's pet', on top of the other horrible nicknames that she was subject to. Both Hoseok and Hyunwook knew, and Hoseok was ready to kill someone for Eunyeon, but being the more sensible of the two, Hyunwook told his brother to wait, and simply watch on, because what could they do?
Due to this, Eunyeon started to fall in depression, causing her grades to slip. Hyunwook, seeing how his sister was falling, told her to go to 1Million with him once, and immediately she fell in love with dancing, and kpop. Since then, she was able to express herself via dance, and generally became more and more confident.
It wasn't until the age of 16 that she decided to go and try her luck at the auditions held by different entertainment companies, because heck, why not? So she dragged Hyunwook along, and tried for YG. And surprise, instead of her, Hyunwook got chosen. Instead of being discouraged, however, Eunyeon decided to continue training by herself, and ignore the fact that both of her brothers already belonged to different entertainment companies; Hoseok to Starship, while Hyunwook to YG.
At the age of 17, she felt that she was once more, ready, and so tried for JYP. To her delight, she got in, and has been training to debut ever since.

He loves his sister and is extremely protective over her, yet at the same time he constantly gets into fights with her, be it physical or verbal, so their apartment doesn't have anything valuable or easily broken in plain sight because when they get into a fight they're serious. However, when Eunyeon started dating he became very protective, and gives her advice about the guy because well, he's gay. While he's the more sensible of the two brothers, when something happen to her, he'll raise hell for her.
→ Older brother #2, Shin Hoseok ⋮ 28 ⋮ member of Monsta X ⋮ protective, confident, a ho(e) ⋮ Shin Hoseok is another idiot because it runs in the family. Due to his age difference with Eunyeon, he couldn't stick by her side much when she's at school, so they're less close than Eunyeon is with Hyunwook. However, he still cares a lot for his sister, though admittingly not as obsessed as Hyunwook. While Hyunwook is more concerned about her love life and her wellbeing generally, Hoseok is more concerned about her health, both mentally and physically. Still, the two are really close.

However, when the two goes out, Eunyeon tends to rant about her older brother because of how protective he is to Jineul, while he listens and offers advice as to how she can stop him from over-mothering her.

Anyways, in the dorms, they have quite a change in personality as they constantly argue with each other and tend to sass each other out.

Since Eunyeon debuted earlier than Jiae did, she likes offering advice to the younger, and somewhat likes to take care of her too, in the slightest of ways. Because of Hyunwook's persuading and stubborn nature, Eunyeon is dragged to E2W's showcase, and lo and behold, the girls were amazing.

However, she still loves Jinheo, but due to her bubbly personality, she sometimes doesn't know how to deal with her, and thus has somewhat of a withdrawn front with the younger.
→ Mother, Huang Lian ⋮ 52 ⋮ housewife ⋮ supporting, kind, caring ⋮ At first she opposed to Eunyeon's dream of becoming an idol because their family already had enough of those. However, she saw how determined and passionate her daughter is, and caved in, and ultimately supported her as well, always dressing her wounds and telling Eunyeon to drink the traditional Chinese concoctions like ginger tea she makes so her daughter could be healthy.
→ Father, Shin Jongki ⋮ 55 ⋮ university professor ⋮ protective, caring, somewhat distant ⋮ Due to his job, he is frequently away from home, so he doesn't interact with his children much. Despite that though, he still loves them, and is the one who bought Eunyeon her pet, as well the person who influenced Hyunwook and Eunyeon with their love of mythology, as he himself is a professor in that field.

→ Best friend, Lee Suhyo ⋮ 24 ⋮ trainee at YG ⋮ sarcastic, confident, insecure ⋮ Suhyo and Eunyeon are like two peas in a pod. The two are so similar that they were often mistaken for sisters, however, only in personality. Because Eunyeon debuted first, Suhyo relies on her advice to help her, and the two often like to go window shopping and drinking bubble tea because diets. Even before the two were successful in their respective auditions, they were extremely close friends, with either of them heading to the other's house to play. Thus they are close, if not best, friends.
→ Best friend's brother, Lee Seungwoo ⋮ 26 ⋮ school teacher ⋮ cold, sarcastic, caring ⋮ Because of their age difference, Hyunwook and Seungwoo are noticeably more closer than Eunyeon and Seungwoo are. However, living in a house full of her brothers made Eunyeon not even awkward around guys, and so they get along well. Even though they aren't close, Seungwoo treats Eunyeon as his own little sister.

Eunyeon admired Hyuna at first because of her charisma on stage, and sought her advice, but after realising how much the two had in common, they instead became close friends. Eunyeon had said to want to do a collaboration with her friend, but due to the difference in years in the entertainment industry, plus Hyuna's extremely busy schedule, they could rarely find the time to do so.

They like to talk about music whenever they meet, so Eunyeon really likes her.
→ Close friend #3, Kim Jongdae ⋮ 25 ⋮ member of EXO ⋮ fun, punderful, passionate ⋮ They got to know each other after a survival show made by both JYP and SM, which was really just a fun spin-off to 'choose' idols from both companies to collab for a single that would be composed by both JYP and SM members, and composers and whoevers. Since it was set for groups debuting after or on 2012, BTW and EXO were automatically included. Since the two were both lead vocals of their groups, and Eunyeon complimenting Jongdae's vocals during a break, they got closer and became friends.
→ Close friend #4, Mina Myoung ⋮ 23 ⋮ choreographer ⋮ confident, tomboyish, cool ⋮ Originally, again, just a dancer that she admired, the two became somewhat close after Mina was asked to do Suzy's choreograph for Yes, No, Maybe. Mina was training Suzy in her dancing when she saw Eunyeon trying her hand out in choreographing, and was immediately entranced.
→ Friend, Kim Wonshik ⋮ 23 ⋮ member of VIXX ⋮ shy, charismatic, caring ⋮ They got to know each other when Heize was working on the collaboration with Eunyeon, and she needed another rapper who could do a few lines for her. Mina recommended Microdot, who worked with 1Million once, but since he was busy, he recommended Wonshik instead. At first, the two were a bit awkward around an idol, and Wonshik was Eunyeon's sunbae anyways, so...yeah. However, after the song was released, and they performed it together, as well as those times working in the studio, they got to somewhat know each other.
→ Partners-in-crime, Wang Jackson ⋮ 23 ⋮ member of GOT7 ⋮ outrageous, confident, friendly⋮ After realising that Eunyeon isn't really interested in making friends with the female idols in her own agency, she shifted the focus to trying to know the male idols. Jackson was the one that she hit off with quite quickly, one because of their mutual understanding of the Chinese language, and two, because of their mischevious nature. They like pranking people, Eunyeon due to the sheer fun of it, Jackson because of his, well, personality.

She first tried for an audition at the age of 16, at YG, failed, went back to training and auditioned for JYP, and got chosen. Eunyeon was ecstatic over it, but then she quickly realised that she had to get her game up or else. Due to her constant sessions at 1Million, she had no difficulties in dancing, and likes to use her dancing skills to wow her audience. However, her singing and rapping skills needed work, but due to her thankfully having natural talent in singing, her singing soon improved rapidly, and she rose to becoming the main vocal of her group.

⟪ RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER MEMBERS ⟫
She doesn't like the new members, period. At first, she was the star of the group, always shining on stage and having the audience's eyes fixated only on her. She honestly didn't think there was anything wrong about the group, but JYP insisted, and so suddenly there were three other girls in the group, stealing the spotlight away from her, especially [hurt locker]. Eunyeon is fustrated on a daily basis about the other girls, but what could she do? If she does anything that involved the new 'precious babies' of the group as JYP calls them, she'll be expelled immediately, so she holds her tongue. And fists. But secretly, inside, she's boiling with jealousy and anger.
⟪ FUTURE SCANDALS ⟫
– Suspected to be dating Kim Jongdae. Oh boy, how wrong could the reporters and fans be. At first, Eunyeon was only looking to discuss with Jongdae about the single she and Heize both collaborated on, so the two could do a duet, but since they were seen to be together in the coffee shop, talking passionately, and later holding hands (because the floor was goddamn slippery and Eunyeon is clumsy on ice/snow, so she needed Jongdae's support. The two of them were close enough to not have anything weird brewing from that), and also, somehow sasaengs spotted the two of them wearing similar accessories (Jongdae: bracelet and Eunyeon: necklace), they were immediately suspected to be dating. Due to this, EXO had quite a few fans leaving, and some EXO-Ls started leaving hate comments on BTW's instagram, twitter, whatever. It wasn't until the two clarified on a show that they are, in fact, not dating, and that they are only close friends, that it calmed down a bit, though some fans still remember and hate Eunyeon for it.
– She was seen to argue with her bandmates behind stage, as well as 'accidentally' trips or hits her bandmates (the new additions) onstage during games and stuff, so fans wonder whether they're hostile to each other. Of course they are, but Eunyeon has to hide that, so thankfully, when they appeared on Weekly Idol, when the two hosts made them make up, the rumours soon cleared up. However, she is still annoyed, and hides her hatred towards the new members better.
⟪ PERSONAL ISSUE ⟫ Abusive boyfriend
⟪ HOW DID IT START? WHEN? ⟫
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell. Before she dated Jaehwan, and got involved in the scandal with Jongdae, she was secretly seeing an actor, named Lee Joohyun (OC, faceclaim Nam Joohyuk). No one knew of their relationship, except of course Hyunwook, who somehow could find out everything, Hoseok, Suhyo, and Jineul. It was before debut that they dated, but shortly after debut, they agreed mutually to break up due to their respective careers.
However, just after BTW's first single, Joohyun somehow came back, and started to linger around her. At first, she thought that he had came back to apologize (as he'd treated her badly before, like cheating on her, and lying), but when she realised that he wanted them to get back together, Eunyeon started to become afraid, because the emotional trauma was still there.
Every Wednesday (as they'd broken up on a Wednesday), there will be a bouquet of flowers and a letter in her room, on the bed, with always red roses and the letter about him being sorry, and wishing them to be together. That was every first and third week. On the second and fourth weeks, the flowers would be black roses instead, and the letter full of a list of things that he wanted to do to and with her (both ually and physically), until these things haunt her in her dreams.
She soon became so afraid that she couldn't go out without looking behind her, in case Joohyun was stalking her (Joohyun was facing a drop in his career as he had been involved in a scandal with an actress, and he was denied acting roles). Eunyeon knew that she had to get rid of him, but she just can't, because telling anyone at her agency would mean her relationship coming to light.
⟪ EMOTIONAL EFFECTS ⟫
She became withdrawn, and constantly scared. Eunyeon would become insecure about herself (as Joohyun had constantly berated her about her looks and weight), as she had before, and she would be haunted by her past relationship and Joohyun's sweet and loving words, yet emotional abuse. She wouldn't be able to sleep at night due to her dreams being filled with falling petals suddenly stabbed with knives, and she herself would wake up panting at night and drenched in cold sweat. Hence, insonmia.
⟪ WHO'S AT YOUR SIDE? ⟫
Eunyeon knew Hoseok and Hyunwook will kill someone for her, and will raise hell as well, so she kept shut about it. Jiwon somehow found out, since she shared the room with her, and she was thankful because Jiwon never blabbers to the other members. As for Suhyo, well, being her best friend, Eunyeon shares nearly everything with her, so she talks about this to Suhyo as well. However, being the slightly violent person Suhyo is, she suggests using Eunyeon's hapkido skills, which didn't help much. Still, Suhyo did give some useful advice, such as telling the police etc. Eventually, Hyunwook confronted Eunyeon about it, and then dragged her to the guy and gave Joohyun a lecture. When it didn't work, Hyunwook knocked him out with a swift chop to the neck, and gave him a warning. However, Joohyun still lingers.
⟪ ELABORATE FURTHER ⟫
Bit of a background; Lee Joohyun was a rising actor whose career had a swift knockdown when he got into a scandal with an actress, and so was denied acting roles for a long time. He was known to suffer from mental disorders such as bipolar disorders and depression, but he took medication so it wasn't as visible to the public. However, he was known to mistreat Eunyeon, and emotionally abuses her by hiding the knives in between the sweet words he says. He had also tried physical abuse, but stopped after he saw Hyunwook and Eunyeon playfully sparring, even though Eunyeon would never dream of fighting back.
She tries her best to hide it from the members, and thankfully, with Jineul's help, she did. Under Suhyo''s insistence, she went to the police, but quickly withdrew the case due to both of their reputations at stake, and she doesn't want to be in another scandal and causing her group trouble.
She also became prone to depression spells, and will shut herself out from the outside world, and curl into a ball to let the darkness take over her, and wouldn't get up until Jineul goes into their shared room and wakes her up.

How the two met was truly a mystery, even until today. After Joohyun and Eunyeon broke up, she obviously wasn't ready for any more dating due to the emotional trauma. Besides, Hyunwook would've scared any other guy away, so none of them dared to approach her.
They 'met' during an award show, where VIXX's Shangri La took the win against Twice. BTW doing one of their stages, and because they had performed, they were standing behind all the artists. Because of her knowing Wonshik, she went over and greeted them, and appeared to be friendly with Wonshik. Since he was generally a secluded and shy person around girls, the rest of s, particularly Jaehwan who was nosy, asked him about their relationship. Later, Mnet was going around and doing interviews, about friends of idols. Eunyeon, because of her scandal with Jongdae, mentioned only Jackson and Wonshik, so Wonshik was forced to interact with BTW during another stage together.
Somehow, VIXX and BTW were placed together during an interview/variety show. They were asked to group up with the girls (one of them were absent due to personal reasons), and Jaehwan, being the most friendly and fun-loving, also mischevious, spotted Eunyeon and immediately picked her as his partner. Of course, being so competitive, they won the game, and the host teased them about their compatibility.
Anyways, after that, Eunyeon wanted to know him better, and they exchanged phone numbers backstage.

They act like best friends on stage, flirt like first loves, and argue like a married couple. Basically, they were just perfect for each other. Most of the time though, they are just like best friends, arguing over the most stupidest of things, and then playing games, both video and physically. With them, the house is never quiet, except when they argue, which is not pretty.
⟪ RELATIONSHIP ⟫
Dating. Hyunwook doesn't like him, but then had he ever. Anyways, being Hyunwook's sunbae he has to respect him (hA). Besides, Jaehwan won't lay a finger on Eunyeon anyways. Eunyeon is always happy around him, so Hyunwook had let him be...for now. Jaehwan also likes spoiling his girlfriend, so they can be seen together, with their faces always shining.
⟪ HOW WELL DOES HE OR SHE TRULY KNOW HER? ⟫
Jaehwan knows about Joohyun and Eunyeon's feelings about him. He thought that the creep would off after seeing that Eunyeon has new boyfriend, but it only agitated Joohyun, and caused him to be more determined, so Jaehwan, not wanting to cause her any more trouble, tends to shy away from being seen in public with her.
When the nightmares hit, however, he is always there for her, and makes her hot chocolate at night when she suffered from insonmia, or when they weren't in the same room, always respond to her texts as he sleeps late anyways. Eunyeon is thankful for that, because Jaehwan isn't normally a person who likes to talk about his real feelings underneath the jokester facade, so whenever he does small gestures as such, she's thankful because she knows that he does care for her genuinely.
Likewise, when Jaehwan is feeling down, or when he is in need of the company of others, he normally goes to find Eunyeon, and just likes to hold her close, cuddling and taking in her warmth without saying anything. When this happens, Eunyeon knows that he needs her support, and so just let him be without saying anything. The two are so close that they do not need words to communicate.

- When Eunyeon first started communicating with Jaehwan, she felt slightly burdened because he was such a cheerful person, and she doesn't know how to respond to that as she had lost some of her own energy after the scandal with Jongdae and Joohyun.
- When Jaehwan confessed to her she was afraid, because of what had happened to her when she was in a relationship with Joohyun, so he patiently waited, and still remained her friend, giving her space, but at the same time just generally taking care of her.
- You will love their relationship it's different from 2Hyun (Hyunwook x Daehyun), Xingwoo, Suhyo x whoever and Hyunshik (jk but please - they're a really good couple aye)
- Eunyeon likes drinking the chocolate Jaehwan makes for her
- Sometimes she gets annoyed because the house is extremely noisy, what with the dog and the man-child she dates, but it's a good kind of annoyed
- Hyunwook is pissed but he can't do anything about it so he gets even more pissed
- Jaehwan likes the dog, and likes to 'compete' with the dog for Eunyeon's attention
- Eunyeon face-palms whenever Jaehwan makes a pun
- When they argue it's up to poor Jineul, Wonshik or Suhyo to patch it up because Jineul helps Eunyeon out with her relationship
- In fact Jiwon knows a lot, about the same amount as Suhyo because Eunyeon's second rant-dumping-trashcan is Jiwon
