Dear EXOLs,

From the moment I watched our boys' ridiculous debut showcase, it had never occurred to me how much attachment will grow in me as I stay updated and close to this world EXO has created for us. I saw our steady rise from the hallyu, witnessed the downfall and suffering we felt during the 2014, and the pain we all felt that made us stronger, better, and tightly-knitted - like a real family.

At first, we were all individuals who had nothing to do with each other - we were quite immature. We got ourselves into petty arguments from different fandoms left and right, had ourselves look disrespectful as we childishly challenged old fandoms, made the world brand us "the worst fandom" because of our immaturity and impulsive acts. Let's be honest, 2014, somehow, woke us up from those things. 2014, became the turning point of this family.

Slowly but surely, each and everyone of us started acknowledging each other - I-EXOLS, K-EXOLS, J-EXOLS, and C-EXOLS - it was awkward and timid for we didn't exactly knew and understood one another. But just as how time worked, we ended up being closely knitted to the point of being indestructible.

Fast foward to this present day, I am still here, standing with you guys as an international EXOL. Through the course of EXO and EXOL for 5 years, no hate or bash has ever brought us down. Our light shined brighter, our wings soared higher, our chants turned louder, and our boys finally hold power.

All these because of you, my fellow exol, for uniting with us.

The real life red force hasn't ended yet, they seem to have taken a liking to catapulting hate in our family. Now, they have turned so aggressive our beloved K-EXOLS decided to step up the defense and halt this. We, international EXOLS know nothing about it - we were not gifted to understand their language. But with our bond, I know that our fam will do the right thing.

We have been through so much, but the journey is not yet over. It is only up to us what the world would perceive of the fandom our boys have created. Indeed, EXO only has EXOLS and EXOLS only has EXO - the eye of the snake never changes its perspective. This is why, my beloved family, to always do the right thing.

Avoid getting into any fanwars that could further trigger the already-serious-situation in K-EXOLS' world. If possible, help them; let's help them get the justice our boys truthfully deserves. 5 years of unending hate... it's time we eliminate those who dare hurt our boys' names. Disregard any petty insults/mockings/bash from any social media accounts - they were never worthy of your time in the first place. Instead, prepare for the upcoming winter album. Prepare yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically. Buy the pre-orders as much as possible, and once released, stream it on melon, naver, etc. as much as possible. The boys deserve the success after all their hard work.

Above all, stay humble. Through the course of 5 years, our boys together with this fandom never failed to express humility amongst the hallyu industry. Despite the immaturity and lack of respect we all had before, now we are blooming with a better image. Stay humble and quiet, attack silently - for silence can be as deadly, deadlier than a noise one could make. Keep the flame of determination burning, fam. EXO will need it. EXOL will need it.

Lastly, never forget the sufferings we all had endured. Because without it, we wouldn't be who we are today.

Let's walk this flower path together with the boys, fam. Danger or safety, it doesn't matter as long as we have each other.
