GROUP

"We're an oddball group, but that's also our greatest charm."
In the beginning, Haena was rather awkward around most of the members. She had no idea who the other members could be, and she was honestly a little stressed about it. Still, she kept a cool head and tried her best to remain professional. the girls were a lot to handle with such different personalities in the same group, but it became a strange cohesion that allowed her to grow closer to and care for them all. Some of them were old news, others brand new. It was a new experience with each new addition.

It's not easy for Haena at times. She's far from the strongest personality around, and it shows in her inability to keep order in the way some of the others can. She doesn't wield that need for order and respect, and prefers others to do it. Still, she looks out for the members and tries her best to make sure they're not feeling ignored. If a member is sitting alone, she'll join them if the others are busy. A group requires team work, and she wants everyone to feel included in and like a part of the group's success.

Minho

"Oppa, that joke was bad, even for you."
Like all members of Astral, she has a good amount of respect for their manager slash producer. He is a hard-working soul, which is something Haena can appreciate in a person. Minho made an impression on her from the moment he chose to acknowledge her work, which few of the company's employees had done in the past. Their relationship is one built on mutual trust and respect. She believes in his capabilities as their manager and looks to him for advice regarding her work. his caring nature and love for jokes sometimes bring back memories of haena's father, so she looks at him as a bit of a paternal figure or a second brother, considering he is but a year from Joonhee's age.

Yoonji

"The flow of your rap is amazing, unnie."
yoonji is the oldest member in Astral as well as the main rapper. Haena is definitely intimidated by her confidence, which proves somewhat overwhelming, and she did keep her distance at first. It changed, however, when Yoonji helped her in an encounter with a rather hostile trainee. they even bonded over a common dislike for Park Mina for a time, and She began to look up to yoonji as more of a source of confidence. One would think such differing personalities wouldn't get along, and it's somewhat true, but more lies beneath the surface, after all. Sure, it's often awkward between them if they're left on their own. However, They do share a similar work ethic and passion as well as struggles, feeling underestimated and underappreciated for what they do. They often end up hurting each other because of their tactlessness, but it hasn't escalated into a full-blown fight yet.

misaki

"Unnie, Your lyrics with my choregprahy might just 'slay the world', as they say."
Misaki is astral's leader, main vocalist and composer, which are a lot of roles for one person to carry. Haena didn't really know anyone from the songwriters, but she did encounter her around on occasion prior to joining the group. Haena admires her personal strength and abilities to lead. Neither of them are particularly loud or sociable people, WHO PREFER THE COMPANY OF A FEW OVER A CROWD ANY DAY. It has lead to them being known as the quiet ones, Both have lost their fathers, which they bonded slightly over at the start. Haena is like that daring younger sister or daughter, which can cause Misaki to keep a closer eye on her, but she doesn't restrain her, knowing that would just upset her. They are sometimes the other's source of sanity in a group of crazies, but when Haena joins in on the fun, poor Misaki will have to keep the rowdy children under control. They spend a lot of time together to coordinate lyrics with choreography, which she also does with other composers in the group.

yOONHEE

"Yoonhee, please teach me the art of selca."
Yoonhee is one of Astral's official visuals. She is also a model, meaning Haena did not have much contact with her pre-astral days. As they are only millimeters apart in height, they are often referred to as the giants in the group, much to Haena's dismay. Still, the fact that they are the same age has allowed them to overcome the barrier of formality and truly get to know each other as friends. It's no secret that Yoonhee is drop-dead gorgeous, and Haena is a little envious of that, but she knows they have their individual charms. Yoonhee struggles with her own demons, and Haena hopes she can be someone for her to trust and lean on if needed. Both of them are fashionistas in the group, which they bond greatly over. Haena hopes to learn more about the art of talking from Yoonhee, who in return may find more confidence in performing and letting loose from the former. The two aren't exactly friends yet, but they got along quite decently.

jIEUN

"I suddenly feel like skydiving. What about you?"
Jieun is one of the younger members in Astral and the group's lead vocalist. This is definitely one of the members that Haena spends the most time with. Both are adventurous girls with a need for independence and preferance for harmony over violence. Haena is definitely the calmer of the two, but she is more emotional and easily affected as well. Jieun can sometimes prove to be a bit too dramatic for her taste, and they are bound to fight when they're stressed as their controlling sides come out, but the atmosphere is generally good between them. A common occurence between them would be Jieun suggesting something new and interesting, and Haena would be among the first to try it with her, perhaps dragging other members or even their manager along for the ride. Haena is also on good terms with Jieun's sister, Jaeun, because their parents are friends. They weren't really close growing up, but reconnected later in life and got along a lot better as a result.

sEJIN

"Sejin, I need help reorganizing my hats--which I should've done three weeks ago..."
Sejin is not among the original trainees and was actually trained as an actress. She is definitely among the group's brightest stars, which Haena will not hesitate to point out. Her optimism and soft-spoken nature reminds Haena of herself pre-2009. She does feel somewhat protective of Sejin considering her naive nature, trying to keep an extra eye on her just in case. Sejin often finds herself frustrated with Haena's constant mess and her apparent reluctance to cleaning it, mostly because it's not her priority at the moment. Haena finds Sejin to be among one of the more intense members and finds herself having to step back from her at times. Her meddlesome nature does irk Haena, but it's generally not an issue. The two of them tend to get along, but they don't have much in common aside from being avid collectors. Sejin has her acting, her games and her pusheens, while Haena has her dancing, her baking and her reading. As a team, they work well, but their priorities vary and can cause some issues. Haena applauds her for sticking with her interests despite their busy schedule, even though she doesn't understand much of it and isn't much of a gamer.

kyungmi

"Your stories get more outrageous by the day! Tell me another one."
Kyungmi is the group's youngest member. She is another member that Haena gets along with, but doesn't spend too much time with. They are both creative souls who don't understand video games, and Haena sometimes joins in on Kyungmi's DIY projects. Haena knows how vulnerable teenagers can be and is protective of her, similarly to Sejin, but it differs because it is due to that vulnerability instead of a naive and overly honest nature. Kyungmi is polite and respectful of the other members, including Haena, which she appreciates. She works well and has a good sense of humor who can break up the mundane routine and add a bit of flavor to it through jokes and stories. Haena acts like an older sister to Kyungmi, feeling protective of her in the same vein as Sejin, but for another reason entirely. She knows how vulnerable teens can be, and the public scrutiny will be a lot to handle. She has a slight soft spot for Kyungmi - she's too cute! - but her doting is more quiet and action-oriented. Most of their issues stem from two things: Kyungmi's outbursts and Haena's perfectionism. Haena doesn't know how to handle her vicious words and get a hold on her, which can result in her slinking back to allow a stronger personality to handle it, or she fires back with equally insensitive comments, depending on her own stress levels. And Kyungmi may not be the biggest fan of Haena's overly obsessive and controlling attitude during practice, although how much she reacts to the feedback varies.
