Applyfics are where you basically get to create a character for a story and if the author likes your character, it will be a character in there story. There are also certain requirements that very from each applyfic that you have to fulfill. There are reviews where the author will tell you if they see anything wrong with your app and you have to fix them so you and be under consideration.

For as long as I have been on this site, there is one thing that had eluded my mental grasp, and that is ducking Applyfics.

I guess its this; the author creates the setting/environment of the story, and readers "apply" to create the characters, to which the author will use to develop in the story plot. Whether character creators have a say to what happens to their characters after creation in the story is something I don't know.

I guess its something you either understand and love or just don't. But there's a hella large following, so I guess its cool?
