had tanned skin during her years in los angeles from surfing and being under the sun but her skin got whiter during her trainee years. her body figure is a bit of a pear shape, a tiny waist, slightly bigger and slightly wider hips than her shoulders. through dancing her body got a bit lean and muscular but she still has visible baby fats. her hair is a natural dark brown color. she has a natural resting face that a lot would misinterpret her being cold and all but she's not. a lot has said she resembles a cat because of her eyes. she has multiple piercings on each ear and still counting, she kind of have a thing with piercing her ears ever since she started.she got a tattoo when she turned of legal age. a cross tattoo on the back of her ear and a french dance quote which means 'to dance is to live' on the nape of her neck. she has her motto "overcome and conquer" tattooed on her inner wrists, overcome on her left and concquer on her right (the position is here on both wrists) she also wears graded colored contacts coz she's blind. usually wears natural colored contacts that only enlargen the pupils by a tiny bit. wears light browns and grays a lot.

her fashion style is the typical korean streetwear style which kinda looks a bit 90s grunge sometimes. she likes wearing clothes for comfort at the same time looks good on her and makes her feel confident. she doesn't care about brands really and really likes thrift shops too since they're vintage and all. she basically wears sneakers all the time coz sneakers are her bae. other than sneakers, she likes boots like timberland, dr. martens and the like. she usually wears jeans or shorts, but occasionally wears skirts as well. she likes to accessorize with a pair of statement earrings like hoops, chokers and a cap. she puts more effort in her airport fashion since she knows there will be people taking pictures. at home/dorm, she likes to wear oversized t-shirts or sweaters and shorts or leggings. plus comfy socks. for formal events, the stylists would mostly choose clothes that would make her look tall like panel dresses or clothes that would show her legs plus of course heels (which she despises) or tall platform shoes or boots, she prefers the platform shoes really. for practice, she likes to wear loose clothes like oversized shirts or sweaters with shorts, jeans or leggings. plus sneakers or running shoes. her everyday make up consists of mascara, on both her upper and lower lashes, bb cream, eyebrows should be on point, dark red lip tint (color) and a bit of blush. she also needs to have her nivea cherry lip balm. she likes to get her nails done with designs mostly in dark colors.

the story
Background:
ardene was born in los angeles, california to a korean parents. she also has an older brother of 3 years. growing up, ardene loved the ocean. their father would take them to the beach and sometimes they would accompany him at his work when they go by boat to the sea. they would also go hiking, camping and fishing during the their summer breaks. ardene grew up pretty adventurous and boyish. still she never had taken a liking to insects though. she took up piano since she was four years old well just because she has an asian mom and asian mom's usually enroll their kids in stuff. she took a liking to it though but she can't seem to fully love it. she was more of a 'fun and active' kind of girl.
when she was 6, she confessed this to her brother. her brother then invited her to watch him in his dance classes (he took up hip hop classes the same year ardene started piano as well, since he already started with his taekwondo lessons before, which is like a common thing for sons to learn if you're korean lol). while watching him, she can't help but bob her head to the rhythm. seeing this, the dance instructor encouraged her to try it out. surprisingly she had a natural talent as said by the instructor and well she had a lot of fun and asked her parents to let her take dance class as well with much pleading towards her mom since her dad wants what his daughter wants. so since she was 6, she started hip hop classes at boogiezone utopia. she gradually started branching out towards other dance genres such as popping, locking and even break dancing. though she considered hip hop as her forte. she still focused on her piano, because her mom wanted her to at least learn the piano to contrast with her hip hop. when she was 8, her parents got divorced, reason still unknown to the siblings and her dad won custody over the two siblings because he a high paying job, her mother was only a housewife. it affected her relationship with her dad, but he reasoned out that he'll explain once they get older. they were also active members of the church and is part of the choir. ardene enjoyed singing a lot since she was a kid. even though she didn't focus much on her singing, she still had a decent voice to be part of the church choir. academic wise, she does really well in school being an all a student with an average gpa of 3.21. at the age of 13, her brother and her stopped attending classes at boogiezone and joined movement lifestyle. in 2011, because of the two's skills, shaun evaristo included them in ml's promotional dance video for their 2012 tour. she also participated in a number of dance competitions with her brother and they won several awards.
in 2014, her family moved to seoul. the reason is because her dad was offered a job as a professer for oceanography at seoul national university. when they moved, ardene enrolled at yongsan international school of seoul to finish senior high school. her brother stopped his schooling to help with their granddad's restaurant but he looked for a dance studio and ended up taking classes at 1million. ardene also joined. ardene was acknowledged by the choreographers since she diligently attends classes everyday after classes until 10pm. since then you would be able to see the siblings in a number of 1million dance videos. aiden became an official 1million choreographer as well.
in 2015, after ardene and aiden lost to eunho and junsun in a game of dance dance revolution, they were dared to dance on the streets of hongdae. they looked for street performers who could play a song via a device. they found five street dancers with a speaker. the siblings talked to them and they allowed them to use their speaker. the siblings talked a bit on what they're gonna dance to before turning towards the audience, more like a group of people that won't exceed fifteen. ardene introduced them with humor, explaining that they're beloved friends have decided to torture them which earned laughs from the people. once she was done, she went into position beside her brother. they did a cover of keone and mari madrid's choreography of happy by c2c (link). during their performance, more people started to gather and this hyped ardene by a lot. her facial expressions were so on point, the people can't help but cheer for them. when their dance ended, a huge applause was given to them by the audience. they bowed and thanked everyone before thanking the five street dancers for their kindness. they reunited with eunho and junsun. while they were talking among themselves, a man approached them. he introduced himself as a nh media representative scout. he explained that he wants to scout ardene because he sees star material in her. ardene looked at her brother unsure. the man gave her his calling card and he can wait for her decision. she went and talked to her family regarding the matter and they actually encouraged her since they know she has always dreamed of performing on a big stage. after a few days of elaborating and analyzing the odds and stuff, she finally called the man and told her she's accepting his offer. they set up a private audition for her and since then, she's been an nh media trainee.

her older brother is her most trusted best friend and they practically don't hide any secrets with each other. despite being younger, ardebe takes care of her brother really well. back when she still lived with him, she made sure he had proper meals during the proper time. he's protective of her and always has her back. they also have a bit of sibling rivarly but it's all good fun. she calls him whenever she needs advise from time to time and to check up on him too.
ardene felt her phone vibrating on the sofa while she was watching tv. she grabbed her phone and checked who the caller was. she lowered the volume of the tv and tapped the answer button. "what do you want muggle?" "stop calling me that." "nah, you a muggle. how can someone not be into harry potter?" "not my cup of tea." "blah blah blah." "hear me out. i need your amazing sister skills." "is it about a girl?" before aiden could answer, ardene cut him off. "again?" "what do you mean again?" "coz um you're a playboy." she said in a matter of fact tone. "first, i am not a playboy. second, it's the same girl halfling." "don't call me that you stick tower." "fyi, i've been going to the gym, i'm perfectly lean now." "please, i didn't ask and i don't care muggle." cousin ๑ kim go eun ๑ 26 ๑ actress ๑ 7 out of 10 ๑ ardene and her cousin first met when they had a family reunion dinner. when go eun arrived at the venue, their family members were so amused at their resemblance. they became close and ardene would jokingly imitate go eun's parts in her dramas. because of go eun's schedules, they rarely meet. but when they do, there are no awkward atmosphere, just two cousins catching up, making up the years they didn't get to know each. so they had a lot to share.
go eun and ardene decided to go to the karaoke when they met up. they were having fun, dancing to the music and singing their hearts out. ardene suddenly chose goblin's ost 'beautiful' as the next song. as she was singing the song, she playfully started acting as well. go eun rode ardene's humor and they started reenacting scenes from goblin and when the song ended, they laughed real hard at their silliness.

they treated ardene like she's one of them. they grew pretty close within the two years she been with them. they supported her all through out. ardene would occasionally visit the 1m studio and they would welcome her with big and warm hugs. she's like the baby among them being the youngest as well. they would joke that if she didn't become and fnc trainee, she would be a full time choregrapher for 1m and replace her brother. other then meeting in the 1m studio, they would also go out to eat or shop or go to places.
ardene entered the 1m studio with iced americano drinks on both of her hands. today's classes was with eunho, minyoung, yoojung, ara and hyojin. she made sure she brought enough americanos for them. since the classes have ended, there were only a few students left. she made way to the dance studio and saw eunho, yoojung and minyoung there. "annyeonghaseyo!" she greeted as she entered. the three choreographers turned their heads and immediately smiled when they saw her. "yeon-ah!" eunho was the first to hug her. she hugged the two girls as well. "i bought you guys these." she smiled as she gestured towards the drinks. "that's two cups too many though." ardene arched her brows in confusion. "ara and hyojin already left." ardene made an o with but smiled soon after and turned her head towards eunho. "eunho oppa will finish them." "what!??" the three girls laughed and later joined by eunho.
