ardene is really a boyish girl. maybe because of growing up with a dad and a twin brother. she's always down for anything and loves the thrill. bungee jumping, sky diving, you name it. she's pretty relaxed with herself and around people and doesn't mind ruining her image. she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty but well she is afraid of cockroaches and spiders. she likes skateboarding with her brother and other friends.

a typical pisces trait. she is a pretty emotional and sensitive person. she is easily touched or easily hurt by things or people. she cries easily and is labeled a cry baby by some. but her emotions are genuine and real. she will most likely be the first one to cry in a sad drama or movie. she is also pretty good hiding her real emotions though, especially if she doesn't want to cause worry to people.

everything she does is really extra and unpredictable. from her reactions to her imitations and all. she's like a living meme and people can't help but laugh and enjoy. but sometimes it can be cringeworthy but still funny. she does stuff out of the box and out of the norm. it's no surprise if one of her antics trends and becomes viral. she also has a weird way of explaining her thoughts and stuff. she basically doesn't care about her image, which gets her scolded. she also out of nowhere asks senseless and nonsense questions that makes you go wtf at her.

she speaks fluent sarcasm. she gets irritated when she says something that is the furthest thing from serious, but the person she's talking to just doesn’t understand her sarcasm. when she meets someone and she instantly hates them, she has a super hard time hiding it. she kinda got the habit of ending sentences with 'just kidding' or 'it was a joke' to lighten things up when everyone got silet or something. since she's known to be mischievous and funny, people don't get when she's being sarcastic or being funny and it irritates her a lot, which draws out her sarcasm even more.

ardene is arrogant. growing up and getting used to being labelled as perfect by people got in her head. she has that overbearing pride and thinks she knows things more than she actually does. she loves displaying her elevated opinion and will act high and mighty. she just loves to be the center of attention and hates it when someone steals her spotlight. she diminishes others to make herself feel more superior. she kinda has a superiority complex. she is also aggressive.
"wtf is happening over here?"
ardene tends to intrude in other people's business. this trait links to her high mindedness. she thinks that she can help by meddling with other people's problems. though she has a good mindset about it, it comes off as annoying and irrelevant to many. she's always curious about what other people are talking or whispering about and can't help but want to know.

she is a living example of brutal yet awesome. she speaks her mind, thoughts and opinions freely, without holding back. if she knows you're at fault, she will no doubt confront you about it. she doesn't mind you disliking her or think of her negatively. she's the person who did or said something nobody else had the guts to. she doesn't care about the consequences of her actions. her words can be really harsh to the point of making the other party cry.

background her family moved to los angeles when she was a year old. ardene grew up in a household where music and performing arts exist. her father, though a marine biologist, loves music and enjoyed playing the piano. her older brother was into dancing and took up dance class since he was young. (parents are divorced, reasons are unknown to the siblings. her mom was a housewife so her dad won custody over the siblings since he has a high paying and stable job) ardene learned to love both by heart. she learned piano at the age of four and continued to do so. she also learned to love singing after experiencing her first worship service in their church. she became an active member of their church choir when she was in 3rd grade. singing and music has been part of her life since then. dancing on the other hand, she was always fascinated when her brother would practice in their living room and because of this, her brother took her to a dance class one time. she was only supposed to watch but the dance instructor encouraged her to try it out. and well she had a lot of fun and asked her dad to let her take dance class as well. she started during fourth grade as well. she has been in a number of dance competitions with her brother after being assessed that her skills were good enough of course. but music was still a big factor in her life. at age 11, she started taking interest in learning the guitar. at first, she only learned by herself but seeing his daughter struggling, her dad had her take guitar lessons from one of their churchmates who was part of the choir. 

growing up, ardene loved the ocean. their father would take them to the beach and sometimes they would accompany him at his work when they go by boat to the sea. they would also go hiking, camping and fishing during the their summer breaks. ardene grew up pretty adventurous and boyish. then she came across an ad about kpop star 2 holding auditions to foreign countries. she was unsure if she should pursue her love for music, but with her dad's and brother's encouragement, she decided to apply for the survival show. and suprisingly she made through the preliminary auditions. her family flew to seoul to support her as well. she made it through until she was eliminated and placed 8th. she got love calls from several companies but none from the big three, though she wanted to join yg. she decided to join music k entertainment as they were the ones who reached out to her first. her brother and dad went back to the states but soon decided they would permanently move to seoul since they can't leave their only girl alone in a country far from them. ardene trained under music k and improved her vocals and dancing skills a lot. she continued learning the guitar as well. on the year 2014, she made her solo debut with 'good bye rain' but it didn't blow up like they expected. she was later teamed up with four other girls that debuted the following year. they gained attention when they uploaded a cover of bts' boy in luv and also thanks to bts who reacted to their cover. but the hype soon died down and well the company considered their debut a flop. their main vocalist had to leave due to vocal nodules and since they weren't able to find a replacement, decided to disband, much to their surprise. ardene also decided to leave the company. her brother became a choreographer for 1million the year before. she sometimes joined dance classes but focused more on her studies to get into a music college since she didn't take college entrance examinations after graduation last year.

it was all good until kpop star announced their final season and that anyone can audition from new faces to debuted artists. she knew all too well that she wanted to sing and perform than anything. she mustered her courage and joined the last season of kpop star. she drew attention when she rejoined the program. she advanced until the top 4 with her two other groupmates but was eliminated. this was when fnc decided to reach out to her. so she decided to take the opportunity.

she's a daddy little girl despite being all boyish and all. she looks up to her dad a lot especially since he raised the twins alone. she would call him to check up on him and if they're eating well and all that. her dad would sends goods from la to her and will never forget to send gifts to her on her birthdays, christmas and even valentines. (the university her dad teaches at is located in busan, she used to live with her brother until she joined fnc where she was moved into a dorm)

ardene was sprawled over her bed with phone in hand. she felt her phone vibrate and looked at the screen. a beaming expression took over her once blank face. she tapped the answer button. "hey dad!" she waved at the camera. her dad smiled. "hey kitten. how are you?" "doing good, tired but you know me. i can handle myself." she smiled softly at her dad. they continued catching up, a usual thing they do twice a week is to video call each other. "oh and dad." "yes kitten?" "happy birthday!" she positioned her phone on the table and took out her guitar. she started to play a short composition for her dad as a gift. when she was done, her dad clapped and said his thanks. "love you dad." "love you too kitten."

her older brother is her most trusted best friend and they practically don't hide any secrets with each other. despite being younger, ardebe takes care of her brother really well. back when she still lived with him, she made sure he had proper meals during the proper time. he's protective of her and always has her back. they also have a bit of sibling rivarly but it's all good fun. she calls him whenever she needs advise from time to time and to check up on him too.

ardene felt her phone vibrating on the sofa while she was watching tv. she grabbed her phone and checked who the caller was. she lowered the volume of the tv and tapped the answer button. "what do you want muggle?" "stop calling me that." "nah, you a muggle. how can someone not be into harry potter?" "not my cup of tea." "blah blah blah." "hear me out. i need your amazing sister skills." "is it about a girl?" before aiden could answer, ardene cut him off. "again?" "what do you mean again?" "coz um you're a playboy." she said in a matter of fact tone. "first, i am not a playboy. second, it's the same girl halfling." "don't call me that you stick tower." they treated ardene like she's one of them. they grew pretty close within the two years she been with them. they supported her all through out. ardene would occasionally visit the 1m studio and they would welcome her with big and warm hugs. she's like the baby among them being the youngest as well. they would joke that if she didn't become and fnc trainee, she would be a full time choregrapher for 1m and replace her brother. other then meeting in the 1m studio, they would also go out to eat or shop or go to places.

ardene entered the 1m studio with iced americano drinks on both of her hands. today's classes was with eunho, minyoung, yoojung, ara and hyojin. she made sure she brought enough americanos for them. since the classes have ended, there were only a few students left. she made way to the dance studio and saw eunho, yoojung and minyoung there. "annyeonghaseyo!" she greeted as she entered. the three choreographers turned their heads and immediately smiled when they saw her. "yeon-ah!" eunho was the first to hug her. she hugged the two girls as well. "i bought you guys these." she smiled as she gestured towards the drinks. "that's two cups too many though." ardene arched her brows in confusion. "ara and hyojin already left." ardene made an o with but smiled soon after and turned her head towards eunho. "eunho oppa will finish them." "what!??" the three girls laughed and later joined by eunho.

julianne and ardene relate to each other since they didn't expect that frontman would take the spotlight. the usually converse with each other in english. julianne actually took care of ardene when she joined the band since she was new and all. she toured her around the fnc building and showed her good places to eat nearby.

"i discovered this cafe that's near here! i bet you'll love it! wanna go?" julianne smiled and nodded. when they arrived at the cafe, ardene gestured towards it. "tadah~!" julianne looked at the cafe then turned towards ardene. "ummm, yeon-ah, i ugh actually already knew of this place hehe" ardene blinked. kim eunho

personality eunho is very very very 4d. he's really outgoing and is the life of the party. he's fun to be with and will make you really comfortable around him. he is pretty unpredictable and is a prankster. he's kinda like a magnet where people are drawn to him because of his charming personality. he's not afraid to do anything and is always up for it. he's devoted to the things he loves as well as to the people he loves and respects. he's pretty sensitive as well but will hide the pain with a smile as to not worry others and cause a nuisance. he's down-to-earth but sometimes he can be pretty bossy and opinionated. he's pretty stubborn too and will not back down without a fight. though he's an outgoing person, he can be pretty secretive especially when it comes to himself. he also has a shy side to him, which is pretty surprising. he gets shy when he's put to a spot that he didn't expect. people wouldn't see what he really is thinking behind his bright smile.

love story basically they first met at the 1million studio. ardene went to her brother's first ever dance class. coincidentally eunho was also teaching that day. the 1million family decided to welcome jay with a party so ardene also joined in. jay introduced the 1million family to her. eunho approached her and told her that he was a fan of the ark and was sorry that they disbanded. ardene told him that it was okay and reassured him that she's perfectly fine. eunho knew that she wasn't though but decided not to rub salt on her wounds any further. during the welcome party, a dance off started among the them. ardene was just sitting and watching them, enjoying the hype when eunho took the floor and then pointed towards her after his dance. when she declined while laughing, he pulled her towards the center and gestured towards the floor. ardene ran a hand through her hair, feeling the music before she danced which wowed everyone coz they didn't expect for her to be really good. when she ended her dance, she went beside her brother. the 1million dancers cheered. she looked at eunho who had a wow and amused expression on his face then she stuck her tongue out at him before laughing. 

ardene would sometimes join the dance classes and if not, she would just hang out there after classes and since then eunho and her relationship improved. their relationship started off as two people who had the similar love of dancing. but gradually they learned more about each other whenever they grab something to eat after dance classes. slowly but surely romantic feelings started to sprout between the two. since ardene was still adjusting to the music college life, eunho decided to wait. though their friendship then turned into a flirtationship. when he thought that it was the right time, eunho decided to confess to her. he asked her to help him choreograph a dance for his next class. without knowing anything, ardene agreed. so they browsed some songs but eunho already had a song in mind and suggested luv by tory lanez. after listening to the song, ardene agreed on using it. they stayed up late at nights coming up with the choreography. the night they finished the dance, eunho confessed to her. ardene was fixing her things, getting ready to go home when eunho suddenly wrapped something on her neck. she looked down on it and it was a necklace with a sun pendant on it. she turned around and saw eunho with a nervous smile. she looked up at him expectantly. then he held up another necklace but it had a moon pendant instead. ardene smiled knowing full well what he wanted to say. she gestured towards the necklace. confused, eunho gave it to her. she took the necklace, tiptoed and wrapped the necklace around eunho's neck. she fixed the necklace on his neck before looking up at him with a very warm smile. they just stood there with a very comforting silence between them before they left the studio, holding hands.

interaction #1 (august 2016)
ardene and eunho were on they way towards the venue where the show with kris will be filmed. ardene watched behind the cameras while kris interviewed eunho. to ardene's surprise, kris kept saying eunho is y and all that. eunho kept saying kris was weird while nervously looking at ardene. she had a unreadable expression on her face that made him nervous two times more. after the filming, eunho approached ardene first and asked her if she was okay. she raised an eyebrow at him and said of course. eunho spent the remaining time consoling the jealous ardene.

interaction #2 (october 2016)
eunho asked ardene to accompany him to the gym. he was waiting outside the gym then ardene arrived in casual clothing. he asked her if she brought clothes to change, she said no. she told him she'll just accompany him and not gonna work out. she smiled up at him innocently. during eunho's work out, ardene went out and returned with food. she started eating them in front of eunho. she knew all too well that eunho was also a food fighter like her. she enjoyed the struggle he had when she started taking big bites of her food in front of him. she kept teasing him until he couldn't take anymore. before she could take a bit again on her corndog, he took her hand and tried to take a bite. ardene didn't back down without a fight but lost because of strength differences. but she still considered herself the winner.

interaction #3 (october 2016)
the day before the casting audition for kpop star 6, ardene was at the 1million for her last practice. she was clearly stressing out. she was thinking to herself, earphones on her ears that she didn't notice eunho enter the room. he saw her stressed out and snuck behind her before he grabbed her by the waist and spun her around. when he put down ardene, she looked at him with a haggard expression. eunho laughed at her and fixed her hair. he reassured her that she's talented and amazing and that she'll be recognized for her talents.
the next day, eunho accompanied ardene along with her brother and dad. he stayed behind the scenes tho and didn't participate in the broadcast for the sake of not causing any rumors. when ardene finished her performance, she was criticized by the judges really harshly. eunho can tell that she was fighting back her tears especially because she was running her hand through her hair like a lot of times. when yg used his wild card to save ardene, he immediately waited for her to return backstage. she cried when she saw them and her brother hugged her. when they were out of filming site, eunho hugged ardene and her head to comfort her.

interaction #4 (march 12, 2017)
eunho planned to take ardene to his hometown jeonju for her birthday. they went to several places where eunho used to frequent during his childhood. they ended up eating at his favorite food stalls in jeonju market and shopped at his favorite stores as well. they ended the date at deokjin park where eunho gave her his gift which was a lavender instax camera. he told her he wants to share more memories with her and the polaroids will serve as mementos of those moments they're together. they took their very first polaroid then. (this is the reason ardene gained interest in taking pictures)

interaction #5 (may 2017)
eunho's family invited ardene to join them in jeju. when they arrived, they booked three rooms which meant eunho and ardene in one room. when ardene was changing, eunho snuck up behind her and poked her belly fat (she was dieting because she got a bit plump during her break from idol training), she got mad and started to chase him around the room.

ardene arrived at the 1million studio because of eunho's call. when she entered the office, she saw eunho with a skateboard. turns out he needed to use the skateboard in his choreography for his mission for 1million tv. she taught him how to balance himself and would laugh at him when he loses his balance.
the day of the mv filming for the mission, ardene arrived at the venue to see eunho dressed as a girl. they stared for two seconds before ardene bursted out laughing at him. she made fun of him and (kinda like what bobby did lol, link) she helped fix eunho's wig but when she looks at his face, she would laugh which made eunho playfully try to kiss her but would be pushed away by ardene saying it was so weird.

ardene was in the practice room, practicing her guitar. her phone rang and she reached for it. she saw the caller id and it read eunho. "wae?" "were you practicing?" "yeah, practicing my guitar." "is it a bad time to call?" "nah, what's up?" "nothing, just wanted to hear your voice. it's been a while since we've seen each other." ardene smiled.
