FACE CLAIM — Seo Yeji (actress)
BACK UP FACE CLAIM — Shin Bora (gugudan's hana)

APPEARANCE
With her clear, pale white skin, straight dark locks, and overall appealing figure; one could say that Jung Jihae definitely fits the standards of the appearance-based country. To elaborate, the girl stands at the height of 5'5" (1.69m) and weighs about 43kg (94 lbs). Her body's fairly proportioned but leans on the thinner side of the spectrum. She does however have a few marks on her, caused by earlier drawings and other blood relatives. Most of the marks have faded and are barely seen, however there are a few that still remains. If you look closely, there are a number of faint, horizontal marks at the back of the Jihae's legs, just a few inches above her ankles. This is where her uncle and other blood relatives would "discipline" her as a child. The beating was so bad that blood would sometimes ooze out of it and would sometimes leave her limping. This is why despite years of not experiencing such iron fist, the marks on her still remains. The rest of the remaining marks on her body (wrists, side arm, stomach, etc.) were caused by uncontrolled drawings and a number of unfortunate events. Still, Jihae would have preferred them over the ones on her legs (and on her mind) any day.

As for other aspects, Jihae has hazel eyes, a high nose, and pink tinted lips. She also has dimples on both sides of her cheeks, which are so deep that the slightest movement of opts them to reveal themselves. This, despite being some people's charming point, is actually one of Jihae's insecurities. To be honest, she just feels as if there's an imbalance in her face or appearance whenever they who up, which is why she tries her best not to talk much or smile. This is also why the girl usually has her hair loose, so as to cover some parts of her face- however, this act of  "disorganization" leaves a bad taste in some of her relatives, who'd rather she keeps her hair up or nicely tucked behind her ears. Moving on, Jihae doesn't have any visible piercings, aside from those on her ears- though she rarely does place anything on them anyway. Finally, the girl actually has freckles spread across her shoulders, reaching some parts of her arms when exposed to heat for a long time, which triggers the little red and brown spots on her upper body.

Now as a long running custom of her family, Jihae was required to get a tattoo of the chinese character for "bear" (), immediately after her powers started to manifest. Much like the chosen generations before her, the girl showed signs of her powers at a young age thus the addition of the tattoo at the age of 10. The black ink is about 2x2 inches, located at the base of her nape. As mentioned, this act of 'branding' has been a tradition for the past 'shins' within the Jung clan who, in their own right, is believed to be one of the "purer" descendants of Dangun Wanggeom. Those who do not bear the shin are then branded with the chinese character for "tiger" () in red ink.

STYLE —
Before it even blew up and became a thing in parts of South Korea, Northern women would style themselves (still) with heavy influences from their traditional clothing as well as styles from the 1950's. Because of this, Jihae's own preference has played along those ideals as well. Growing up in her household meant wearing dresses or skirts almost half of her life- until she reached the age of late middle school. From then, she'd started wearing pants- but never really got into shorts. When the new trend of this "modern hanbok" came into play- Jihae knew that this was the style for her.

So up to now, it'd be long skirts or dresses for Jihae (still). She's moved on from wearing denim pants to slacks, jeggings, and leggings- mostly because she feels better walking around them. As for shoes, anything goes for her from flats to sandals, heels, sneakers- even mountain boots (which she already has a pair of- for when their family decides to hike). Jihae's preference for color on the other hand would land on solid pastel or cooler tones, with some flowar patterns on the side. Accessories aren't really much of an importance but if ever she's going to pair anything with her look, it'd usually be sling or clutch bags, and a norigae. She'd also almost always have her hair loose rather than tied.

— SHARP AS A PENCIL.
PERSONALITY — infj ; cancer ; gryffindor

♚ tenacious, perfectionist, impulsive, altruistic, insightful, determined, loyal, extremely private, (lowkey) suspicious of people, imaginative and creative

Jung Jihae is a woman who's gone through a lot over the course of her life, though that did not hinder the growth of positivity and goodness within her. If anything, she's learned quite a lot through all the difficulties she's had to face at a young age. The female is still pretty much her younger self; tenacious, a perfectionist, altruistic, and sensitive overall. It's also given that she's got quite the imagination and is in fact rather creative from the get go as well. These traits, along with the others she's picked up over the years, is what makes up Jihae as a person (and not what her ability can or can't do).

Even as a child, the youngest Jung has been known to hold a firm stance when it comes to what and who she believes in. It would take quite a lot of time and effort convincing this woman otherwise, epecially if she knows that she's right. In this respect, she's rather tenacious and once it's paired up with her hardheadedness, then it's game over. If anyone still does want to convince her about changing her mind, Jihae'll make sure to turn the tables around and convince the others of her side. She's rather convincing to say the least, and is actually pretty insipiring once she's in the moment of explaining things she's passionate about. Her way with words and insight over a lot of topics would soon enough find its way into the other's ideals and her determination would get the best of anyone- in the end, the other person would find himself drawn to Jihae and whatever she says more and more. It's a gift really, being able to convince and inspire others (or so Jihae says), which is why if she feels that the other person is the same as herself with their own beliefs, she'd back off and show nothing but respect towards the other for holding their own (unless their own belief is nothing more but bull). That being said, once you've caught the interest and trust of Jihae, you'd earned yourself a lifelong friend- someone who'd be loyal to you no matter what and would definitely bring you back to your senses once you find yourself staying off from the world.

Of course, Jihae has her flaws, something she can't really live without or else she wouldn't be her. Like in ordinary days when the simplest of tasks that would usually take about a minute or two, would last for about 10 when given to the female. This is because aside from the fact that Jihae prefers doing things slow, she gives even the smallest thing her all and with quite the accuracy. This is how much of a perfectionist she is with just about anything. Though there are times when she's placed under pressure and the thing is, if this so happens, she looses it. In a sense that, because of wanting things to become perfect, she looses sense of time but because the girl still has to finish the task- she just gives up and does what needs to be done. [ "Ugh! To hell with it!" ] Although it would come out right eitherway, in the eyes of Jihae, it's a total failure and she'd beat herself up about it. In contrary to this perfectioninsm, the female is quite impulsive. When something catches her eye, she'd immediately want to do and give it her all. This goes the same with the idea that if she wants to rebel and leave the university then and there, for like let's say a newly opened crafts store, she'd immediately drag Jungwon and/or Nabi with her. In connection to this, her feelings or emotions is not safe from this idea as well. In other words, Jihae can be rather sensitive about certain things, but would never openly show it. Despite being one who's easily angered by insults thrown at her and her family, someone who can't stop crying once she's started- Jihae really hates showing any form of negative emotion. She also gets pretty attached to people easily, which is why she hurts just as fast when she feels left out. Which is why she's unconsciously built a wall around herself where she refuses to show unnecessary emotions to someone new. She'd almost always just show the good side of herself, letting maybe a little annoyance out here and there but not full blown. Which is probably why despite seemily having a lot of people being friendly with her, there really aren't a lot who could truly say that they know the female on a personal level. That being said, Jihae is actually quite the person for being rather (too) altruisitc despite her lowkey suspiciousness of others. Once she feels or is aware of anyone that needs her assisstance, she wouldn't think twice with helping the other out- almost too quickly at that. Which although is nice of her to be doing, there are times when she's already being taken advantage of but would still just brush it off when called out by Jungwon and Nabi no less.

— DRAW MY LIFE.
PAST —
Jung Jihae's background has always been a colorful one- with red and black being the dominant of them all. These colours play a huge part in the young girl's life, as well as that of her whole family's history. It starts out with a well known lore of how there are shins, rulers of the sun, moon, harvest and childbirth, and many more- walking amongst humans. However at present, not everyone is aware of who or how many there are left- at least, those who aren't part of the Jungs. You see, from way back when, this particular family has been aware of who- or what they are and have since been honing the "gifts" they were bestowed. Initially, the forefathers of the Jungs resided in the northern most part of North Korea, until they were forced to move further down South as time went on. The moment these "pure bloods" entered South Korea was when Jung Jihae's grandmother, Im Soonja, and her family barely escaped the clutches of the Northerners- with a few remaining of their kind.  Now decades after defecting and settling down in their home at Guri, the Jungs have started making a move towards their current and most important goal- keeping the family line alive and clean. To do that, the family made sure to be careful and cover their tracks- by being as open to people as possible. In their area, the family is known to be very kind and humble; always helping out through medical missions, feeding programs, tree planting, and any form of donation. They never really dabled into politics (themselves) either, but would support some big names in the sidelines, which gained them even more favor as well. Because of that, the Jungs were never really questioned or asked of their history and has since lived peacefully. Though things aren't quite the same from within the four walls of the family's estate.

Growing up hearing the words, "You must be lucky being born into your family!" and "What a nice life you must have!" has never been less annoying to Jihae despite the number of times she's heard that in her lifetime. Truth be told, the life she's living isn't as ideal as others may think. Honestly speaking, there are only a few instances that comes to mind when talking about 'fun' memories in her household- specifically the ones before her powers manifested itself. There really was not easy way in 'awakening' one's power, and that goes the same with every shin in the Jung's bloodline. For Jihae, it came to her when she witnessed something she shouldn't have when she was about ten years old. [ The sky was darker than usual that night as rain continually poured. It was well past midnight when the youngest Jung awoke from a loud thud, the source she was not sure of. She tried turning on her bedside lamp, but the storm had caused a power shortage. Another thud echoed through and being the curious child that she is, Jihae tossed all rationale out the window and followed her gut instinct. Quietly getting out of her room, the young girl waited for any more noises and immediately followed a couple more three minutes later. The sound led the dark haired girl in front of her eldest sister's room. Knocking before she entered, Jihae peeked her head over the little gap that she's made before noticing a figure on the floor. She opens the door wider to get a closer look, when a bright light shone over her eyes so suddenly, it stuns her. Over a minute later, Jihae enters her sister's room and finds the young woman on the floor, unconscious. She approaches the unmoving figure and bends down towards her when suddenly, she steps on what seemed to be warm liquid on the carpet. Reaching down to make out what she had felt, Jihae freezes on the spot, unable to comprehend what she just held. ]  Things went by fast after that. The young girl let out screams of help before being found by the adults silent and in deep shock. Jihae hadn't spoken for about three months after that incident and had since been required to have a bodyguard following her around at all times. Her sister didn't make it. Since then, the female would have inexplainable nightmares of a shady figure following her around, and every time she finally gets the courage to face that stalker- she sees nothing but pitch black- save for a wicked smile and a flash of light, before feeling her body being engulfed in darkness completely. Everytime this happens, she'd always wake up to the worried face of her bodyguard, maids, or her grandmother- and every time, she'd breakdown. It took about a year and a couple therapy sessions for Jihae to 'move on' from what happened that night but the nightmares stayed with her. Not only that but every time she was asked about the incident, she would freeze and it would take her back to that exact moment, leaving her in a state of panic. The trauma would come back and have her temporarily blinded (because of the flash) until she's gotten herself together or at least feeling remotely safe agian.

Noticing the shift in the little girl's moods and movement, as well as accepting her sister's passing as a sign of "maturity", Jihae's uncle has taken it upon himself to take the youngest Jung under his wing. As mentioned earlier, the family strongly believes in the ink and greatly relies on its power for their survival. He gives Jihae all the facts that she needs as preparation for her training, which she initially did not understand considering her so called "power" has not presented itself to her. [ "Have you been having nightmares since that day?" Jihae freezes at the question but before she gets taken back into that moment agian, her uncle continues speaking. "The maids have told me that you've been spilling a lot of ink lately around your room too." He says matter-of-factly as he approached his niece with his hands behind his back. The female couldn't help but look down on the floor, not wanting to see the wicked smile forming on her uncle's lips- he was enjoying this little game too much. "Jihae, dear. Should I even question what those marks-" The female instinctively hid her arms and fidgeted with her, which only made her uncle laugh. A few seconds later, all teasing went away and the tall male bent down to be at eyelevel with the girl before him. "Look at me." At his command, the young girl raised her head and stared straight at her uncles dark orbs, fighting back the chill that ran up her smile when the latter gave her what was supposed to be a 'friendly' smile. "Don't worry. I'll make it go away, just let me help you." ] Since then, the girl has been training with her uncle to hone her skills. It started out with mental control, to which she was told she needed the most. This followed by actual drawing skill sets and other practices that helped her with "clearing her mind". It may sound and look easy but it really isn't. Over the years of prepping herself, Jihae's drawings turned out cleaner and tamer than the year before. Ink manifestations rarely showed themselves to her unless created by other shins (in this case her uncle) but despite all these, the nightmares never fully went away.

PRESENT
Jihae is currently living the life of a "free" person. She isn't usually home in Guri due to it being her last year in university at a school in Seoul. Although she does return at least twice a month, the female is still required to have a guard around her almost all the time- two of whom she's actually sharing a flat with. As for her daily schedule, Jihae would usually wake up at about 6am and do her morning stretches before catering to her succulents and eating breakfast after. She'd then laze around if there's no class for the day, or get ready for her (earliest) class that starts by 9am. Due to the fact that her class schedule almost mirrors each other with (MW and TTH), as per wish of her uncle as well, Jihae would almost always be back at the flat by 6pm- just in time for dinner. Despite the seemingly tight schedule however, this female has always found a way around her uncle's strict orders. Because she's quite close with one of her guards, the two would usually just hang out till late at the university library or a coffee shop close there. Going on some movie dates and shopping sprees are rare but quite fun events for Jihae, to which she shares with her ever trusty guard, Hwang Jungwon. That being said, Jihae does not have any other thing going on for her at the university like extra curriculars nor a side job. Instead, she takes weekend classes to relieve her of stress through art. No, the female does not partake in any drawing related activity but instead has enrolled herself at a nearby crafts school where she makes ceramic animals and little pots for her dear succulents. Jihae is also required to meet her therapist once a month, mostly on a friday. Additionally, if her schedule permits it, the female would be seen accompanying her uncle in various events that includes their annual medical missions, feeding programs, tree planting, and any form of donation.

Jihae and her uncle aren't exactly close as they lead on. In fact, there's that awkwardness whenever the two are together- at least in the girl's perspective. Ever since she was a child, she hadn't been at ease with her uncle for some reason. It's not that he treats her badly, it's just that even at such a young age, the female has somehow felt like the older male has been hiding something from their family for a while. Though she still tries to be civil with him and would more or less cooperate with whatever the older man would ask her to do. Mr. Jung Daesuk on the otherhand treats his niece oddly. He wouldn't say that he loves her as his own daughter, but he does feel some sort of responsibility towards her. This is considering that he stuck around the family (after claiming that he'd never return) once he learned of his niece's death, basically raising Jihae when his older brother was away and when he passed, and that obviously-not-obvious fact that he used to be madly in love with his sister-in-law. He is strict to say the least, making sure that Jihae is watched over 24/7 and that he is informed of every move or place his niece would go to.

PS: Mr. Daesuk is a shin, but because of issues of not being able to contribute to the family line, he wasn't able to marry Mijoo.

Between Jihae's parents, her mother is by far the strictest- even amongst her other relatives. The young girl figures that it's because her mom can't really distinguish the difference between work and family- or that the whole idea of "family" to her just never really existed and that the woman merely regards her and her late sister as "products" of the family. She doesn't really wanna sound that harsh while talking about her mother but it's true. Though during her eldest daughter's passing, something in the woman shifted, although she wouldn't admit it herself- but she honestly looked devasted and hurt over the matter. Now Hong Mijoo isn't exactly mother material but is nonetheless a rather dutiful daughter and great believer of the ink and its powers. As a result, despite her growing affection for somebody else, she decides to marry her late husband out of family tradition. The two women wouldn't really speak to each other unless necessary, and by that meaning family meetings or by force of habit (like during dinners or when Jihae's at home for vacation). Even then, the conversation would merely by about Jihae's powers and not exactly how she's doing at school- even if the girl tries to squeeze in some stories, her mother would just forcebly smile and nod before getting back to her earlier question.

PS: If you're wondering, yes, Ms. Mijoo had feelings for Mr. Daesuk but it's now gone or at least dormant.

Probably the only person who Jihae feels the safest and most comfortable around. The two woman's relationship can be compared to a mother and daughter, as well as between two friends. They love telling each others stories, from life back at 'home' and some about university. The duo also tells each other of their hardships, to which they both find solutions to. Jihae would more or less find herself dialing her grandmother's phone number almost every night, telling the older woman about her day and ask about some homework (about history at least). The girl would also make sure to take pictures of wherever she heads to and send them to the older woman as well. Ms. Im Soonja on the otherhand would more or less wait for her granddaughter's adventures to be sent to her, something she'd always look forward to in the day. What more since there's pretty much nothing else to do in the residence rather than to tend to her garden and continue living- but even that is hard for the woman lately. If not those, she'd also randomly give her granddaughter a call, sometimes nagging at her to do the usual eat+sleep+find a boyfriend combo. She'd also be the one to remind Jihae that the younger does not necessarily have to follow tradition- if it doesn't make her happy, and would usually give her side of the family as an example per se. The younger would most definitely find comfort in her words and at some point, would take this into consideration.

PS: Ms. Im Soonja is not a shin, though her family is one of the other descendants which is how she married into the Jung clan back in North Korea.

father / Jung, Chongsik / 40 (48) / Witty, Indecisive, Compassionate, Idealistic [deceased]
This father and daughter duo had a fairly good relationship with each other. Between the parents, it's Mr. Jung Chongsik who'd been closer to his children and was rather linient with them as the girls grew up. They'd be seen running around and playing around the Jung estate; they'd even be going out and getting icecream after looking at toys and dresses. And even if the girls were already of age, Mr. Jung would personally be the one to fetch his grild to school. When his eldest daughter passed due to the unfortunate event however, his personality had changed and he'd suddenly become cold towards his youngest child. It must've been the shock but since then, he couldn't bring himself to look Jihae in the eye with a smile, knowing that he wasn't able to protect his daughter. This caused a strain in the relationship up until Mr. Jung's passing. Jihae on the otherhand loved her father to bits, even if she barely got to see him after her the accident. She'd still be really excited to meet up with him when he is home after overseas meetings, even if it were just for a few minutes. So it was really hard on Jihae when her father passed in his sleep a few year after her sister left as well. Currently, Jihae would more or less visit her father's grave during anniversaries and occassions, as well as when she's feeling down and just needs some time to herself.

PS: Mr. Chongsik wasn't a shin, it had always been his younger brother. The reason why he was married off to his wife, despite not believing in traditions himself, was because Daesuk was belatedly diagnosed as infertile- thus not being able to continue the family line.

older sister / Jung, Jaehee / 15 (28) / Hardworking, Intuitive, Determined, Formal [deceased]
Despite not being together for as long as they've wanted, the two sisters spent their time together lovingly. As the older sibling, Jaehee would always watch over Jihae when they were playing out and about. She'll also be the one to reprimand and explain things to her younger sister when the latter makes any mistake or is curious about things. Jaehee's pretty much the 'ideal' eldest sister, and would always be there for her sister when she was still living. Jihae on the otherhand was the typical younger sister- rather rebellious and would almost always act cute to get her way. She loved pulling pranks on her sister but never one that would get the older really mad at her. She's also responsible for consoling the eldest when she's reprimanded by their parents or any elder from the family. Jihae sticks by her sister no matter what, even in their last day together. Currently, Jihae would visit her sister (along with her father) every now and then, and whenever she feels conflicted about something. The young shin taking comfort in the idea that  she's atleast in the presence of the two most important people in her life.

PS: Jaehee wasn't a shin, although she was thought to be one because she'd had gotten into an accident (that the elders thought would have her abilities awaken) a few months before her death. The female always had a feeling that it was her younger sister however, which is why she tried her best to protect and teach Jihae about their world.

Ms. Ok Chanji was the first person who was assigned to the little Jihae after the accident. Although it would have fitted for a male to do the job- because of the girl's trauma from back then, it was rather hard for any male to approach her- thus the decision of having the older woman taking charge. She stood as Jihae's nanny, tutor, and protector all at the same time, which helped with the two to get fairly close with each other. She currently stays with Jihae and her nephew at their shared apartment near the two younger's university. Once the two youngins are in school, she'd socialize with the people around the apartment and is known as the resident plant expert. Jihae pretty much sees Ms. Ok has her own blood relative and would confide in her at times. Though there are also moments where she sees the older too much as a relative that it may get awkward to talk about certain stuff- especially knowing that Ms. Ok has to report to her uncle almost every day. Also, the older woman doesn't always know that Jihae usually stays out late for the heck of it, especially not the fact that she's actually had a 'some' with the woman's nephew.

PS: Ms. Ok Chanji is a non-shin but is a great granddaughter of one. This is also one reason as to why she's working with the Jung family.

Nabi and Jihae met back in middle school but didn't become close until their late years in highschool. It started out with them getting in trouble together but ending up with them getting closer instead of the other way. Through that, the girl started getting to know each other and confiding with one another- considering that they've already seen the other's 'unpleasant' side. Their friendship grew and is still felt up to the present despite them choosing different paths. Although Jihae may have chosen education as her course, and Nabi under journalism- the two share an interest in Korean history so great that the latter is the only 'outsider' aware of Jihae's abilities. It hadn't been easy to be honest, but Nabi's always had the feeling that the younger was hiding something from her- and everyone else, even back in middle school so she wasn't as surprised as Jihae expected. Currently, the two would meet up at the university or outside during their free time- along with Jungwon.

PS: Nabi is not a shin nor is she a descendant of any- not that she's aware of at least.

can be 1 or 2 other applicant(s). preferably someone curious and bright to approach Jihae first (and/or) another being rather brooding for Jihae to get curious about and be the one asking.

The two would initially start off on the wrong foot- mostly because of how curious and rather nosy the other is in regards to the "target's" personal life. This proding will lead to slight bickering here and there but at the end, have the target wondering about the other when they suddenly experience peace and quiet. Of course, there are times where a line is crossed and the two would get into a really bad fight, but once the misunderstanding has been cleared, it'll only strengthen their bond and affection/trust for each other.

— PAPER HEART
STRENGTHJihae is a rather experienced shin, being that she's already showed signs at the age of 10 and has started formally training by the age of 11. The training begins with mental control, where the user (Jihae in this case) is required to do exercises that requires "mind over matter". Because of her traumatic experience, this was rather hard to overcome- but when the female finally found her inner 'peace' she was able to continue with her training smoothly. Next step is developing the girl's drawing skills, to which isn't as hard as it was considering that the girl has always been fond of this aspect. Although after becoming a shin, she's been seen drawing less as each day passed- only doing so when she is required to. That being said, Jihae would only ever draw around her family's estate and if she feels like the power within her is too overwhelming, would muster drawing a few illustrations away from people- even if they were tame enough not to hurt a fly. Finally- and something the female is trying to polish on up till now, is physical training. She isn't as physically fit as the rest of the people her age but she's trying her best to bulk/size up. Although she's knowledgable with taekwondo, there are still times when her nerves gets in the way of her mind and body, which ends up with her loosing concentration and body control. Eitherway, if she does well enough, she's able to take down a person twice her physical size.

All this is being considered when Jihae herself is in control of her mind. What if she's in the state of trauma or panic? Then it shows in her creations as well, something she would rather not experience at all. This has happened about two times since her training began, and the whole time, it's lucky that her uncle has always been around to stop and dispell the raving creatures. Since then, she's tried her best to take better control of her mind and ability.

The thing is, isn't it bad to hold something too tightly? In fear that the container holding it would finally break out of the pressure?

STABILITY Jihae is as stable as she can ever be under normal circumstances. She is in control of her ability thus far and is able to do great things when she puts her mind to it. However, there are still loopholes to this power of hers, especially so if she's placed in a traumatic state (as mentioned earlier).

— ANOTHER APPLICANT.
hwang jungwon, 24[ 'some' and bodyguard] FC: SF9'S ROWOON

SUMMARY —  **For this part, I'll be explaining more about Jungwon

Sharp as a Pencil.  entp ; virgo ; hufflepuff

♚ knowledgeable, senseless, charismatic, adaptable, righteous, easily annoyed, arguementative, intolerant

Jungwon is honestly everything a bodyguard should be. He's knowledgeble in a lot of areas regarding combat, defense, and even current affairs. All these, but he still doesn't get it when someone's actually trying to make a move on him. Yes, he's pretty senseless in that aspect- some could say insensitive, but it's just that the idea itself has never really crossed his mind up until he's gotten into university. Hey, he was homeschool all his life so interacting with other peers his age was new. Despite this, he's quite adapatable and quick witted. When faced in a difficult position, Jungwon would be able to think of ways to get out of the tight spot, or at least ease the punishment of being caught afterwards. These, along with his charismatic pressence, has anyone in the tip of his fingers- when he so chooses. Well, maybe except his Aunt, Jihae, Nabi, and some skilled professors. Other than those, everyone else falls for this man's charms. Okay, so maybe Jungwon isn't totally that bodyguard image as you'd imagined but hey, he's doing his best.

Though he isn't always in best shape, physically and emotionally. For a supposed bodyguard, he lets his emotions run wild, something he has yet to learn to contain. This shows whenever he's in the mood to defend what's right. Not only that, but he's also slightly hot headed. He wouldn't blow up over anything but he gets annoyed quite easily. In addition to that, he loves to argue with others- intellectually at least. Debating is his forte and exchanging and developing ideas and information excites him to the core. What's more is that- he hates to lose and is rather intolerant of unjustifiable of things. Maybe in this aspect, he lets his pride take over but in most situations, he does what's needed to be done.

Draw My Life.
Much like the Jung clan, the Hwangs are known to hold the same blood as Dangun Wanggeom. The thing is, it's been quite a while since any shin has been produced by this line. Which is why as they're waiting for another (prominent) member, the Hwangs stay loyal to one of their greatest allies. So for as long as he'd remembered, Hwang Jungwon's family has always been around Jung Jihae's- protecting and serving them with everything they've got. In turn, what's left of their surviving clan is given certain priveledges and other opportunities that they could only image.

As a child, Jungwon has always had great respect for Jihae's family and at some point has even dreamed of being part of them. Of course, that was rather impossoble- unless he himself was a shin or is married off to an heir. For now, being part of the family's "protection squad" was enough for the hopeful male. That's all he ever knew doing anyway, being trained to protect the other family as he tried to survive the harshness of training and the real world. So when he finally was given the chance to break free of that system, Jungwon was both excited and scared.

Turns out, the young male was assigned to move in with his Aunt- as well as the Jung's precious daughter. He was in doubt at first, considering that he had to be around the female almosto 24/7 and the fact that it was odd for him- as a male, to be the one doing the job. But his doubts were later burried when he finally got to hang with Jihae around college. They clicked quite well and shared the same sentiments in a lot of things- maybe that's why he loved teasing the younger every now and then.

As mentioned, Jungwon is currently studying in the same university as Jihae and is taking up the same course and almost the same subjects as well. It has nothing to do with the fact that he has to be with the girl almost all the time but because of his own desire in becoming an educator in the future. Once their class is over, the two would usually go to a nearby cafe or the library- or some place else when they're feeling rebellious. Of course Jungwon wouldn't really put Jihae in a dangerous situation, he'd still make sure to take precautions when they do venture out in a different route. Also, he does go with Jihae in her pottery classes but would almost always just sit in a corner and observe everyone else rather than joining in.

Trivias.
- [likes] soju and beer, tomatoes, sports, korean history, styling his hair (but Jihae prefers it down), jajangmyeon, train rides, afternoons and setting suns, debates and any mental game, Jihae smiling
- [dislikes] any type of tea (yes, even milktea),  getting wet under the rain, people reaching for his shoulders (except Aunt or Jihae), ants, physical fights, homework, nosy people, complicated technology, anything bright or neon
- [habits] unconsciously bites his lips every now and then; brings his hands together in front of him when he's trying to think, scratches his head when he's unsure about something, has his lips in a tight line when he's trying to concentrate
- writes and eats with his left hand but does everything else using his right hand
- is slightly scared or uncomfortable with dogs but it up for the sake of Jihae (still, he wouldn't exactly go near them, let alone pet their heads)
- knows how to cook and would volunteer to make breakfast and dinner whenever he feels like it
- is not fond of fall and winter seasons because they're cold and Jungwon can't tolerate the cold (also, this is mostly when Jihae is the least herself)
- has never drank in front of Jihae but has done a number of times with Nabi and a number of his classmates- to which Jihae is unaware
- [school] currently studying at Korea University, Majoring in Education and Minoring in Korean History
- [hobby] loves playing target practice with just about anything (shooting, archery, baseball- as long there's a target he's game)
- [fear] learning later in life that he's actually a shin (since he is a descendant of one)

— LOOK OUT.
FIRST MEETING — Jihae and her love interest would more or less meet once every other shin- not those known by the girl and her family, has been gathered together. Of course the female's initial reaction was to immediately become defensive and doubtful of the other shins but as time passed by, she'd know that the others weren't as suspicious as they initially looked.

**Jihae and Jungwon first saw each other once the Jungs moved to Guri a few months after the accident. Jungwon had been living with his Aunt's friend before moving in with the older woman in the Jung estate. The two children, then 11 and 12 respectively, had first met at the estate's gates for a brief moment before they got to see each other properly face to face a little over 2 weeks after. It wasn't love at first sight for either of the two, more like a little over curiosity and anxiousness as how the two would be able to adapt with being around each other, since they are technically the only people of the same age group living in the Jung estate.

RELATIONSHIP — Although they may have started off of the wrong foot, because they do share the sentiments of being a shin, the two starts to get closer. They would usually check up on each other every now and then. They'd also talk about themselves in the most random places and moments- mostly when they're alone together, and the two would more or less unknowingly do little (sweet) gestures for the other. Of course their "teammates" and those close to them sees this as something nice, but there are still others against it. Eitherway, the two hasn't really thought of actually becoming a pair other than teammates so there really isn't anything to worry about there- well save for some jealousy moments with Jihae and Jungwon as well as (the other applicant and his close female friend).

**Because Jungwon has always seen Jihae from afar, he hasn't realized it until late but he has actually grown feelings for the woman he's supposed to be watching over. Before that realization, the two would mostly see each other back at Guri and wouldn't really talk much- not until they moved in together at Seoul for college. It was awkward at the beginning for both Jihae and Jungwon. What it being the first time Jihae had to actually live with a guy her age, and for Jungwon having to live with the Jung heir. This went on at the beggining of their year in college as well. They'd try their best not to associate with each other whilst still trying to keep a close distance between themselves for security purposes. Of course, their impeding closeness wouldn't be hidden for long due to their classmate's keen eye- and of course, because the two unknowingly gravitated towards each other. It started out from being rows apart to a few seats, to finally sitting beside each other every time they're in the same class. At first they'd not attend class together but would later enter the room side by side, either bickering or talking about their unfinished homework. Before, one of them would stay in class for a few minutes before leaving then going home together (with a distance) but lately, they were comfortable enough to bid their classmates farewell together with a smile or again- bickering over where they'd eat. Finally, no one would even suggest cutting subjects or not going home immediately after class but one thing led to another (with the help of Nabi too) and they'd freely drag each other out for something cool to do when one of them feels like it (mostly Jihae). Of course outside the university, the two were especially awkward with each other. There'll be quite a distance when they're outside, where some people even accused Jungwon as Jihae stalker. Later on in the relationship, they'd stay side by side for a while, keep a distance a few minutes later, and go on with that cycle. During Jihae's weekend classes, she'd be participating well while Jungwon would more or less stay in a corner, observing everyone else. Back at home, the two would work on themselves, their homework and own hobbies, but later meet up at the dining table to eat. Everything else stayed the same, other than the fact that they'd more or less meet up at the living room and do their work there instead in their separate rooms. They don't really need to talk to each other all the time, but they somehow feel much at ease when they're in the same room together.

As for how people would see them, no one in their class would have expected the two would become close, let alone that they're actually living together- though that part's still unknown any way. They were just different with each other and rather awkward too. Though there were signs that Jungwon and Jihae may have known each other from the start, they two would immediately deny it- until they were "caught". Of course, their classmates let it slide, considering that the two complements well with each other- once they actually started doing things more naturally. To be honest, they would have been voted their course's best couple- if the two hadn't strongly denied that they'd had any romantic relationship going on with each other. The people around them, like in the apartment building and Jihae's class, sees the two as a cute pair, a little odd and unconventional, but cute non the less.

Their 'some' relationship actually began in the middle of their university, when Jungwon and Jihae's classmates started teasing them more after they started going and leaving class together. Not like they didn't before but, as their classmates would say, "something felt different". And as you'd know, words gravitate and affects people in a lot of ways, so the two was unconsciously placed in a small bubble of "what if"? So they did try it out- that 'some' relationship. It worked for a while but after feeling a series of negativity and unwanted distractions (like jealousy, doubt, fear, etc.) the two decided to stay as friends. That's how they are up to the present, keeping a distance to themselves but still being there for each other when the times calls for it. However, due to situations uncalled for, the two's feelings for each other are tested once again- especially now that there seems to be chaos brewing within Seoul.

CONCLUSION — I'm honestly up for anything really, and if it's alright, I'll let you decide for both JihaexApplicant and JihaexJungwon. Thank you!

— LOOK NOW.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS —
- I'M FINALLY DONE WOOH! And just in the nick of time! Though I'd still like to apologize for how late this app is despite the multiple extensions you've given. Anyway, I tried my best to stick to my original plan since I found it really cool to have a character who's one of the "purebloods" and who could actually control her power at such an age. Of course, Jihae isn't as strict as her family- to whom I kinda modeled after the Malfoys. lol
- I'd also like to add a little more to Jihae's family history. (1) The incident happened in Paju when Jihae was about 10 years old and prompted the Jungs to move to Guri a few months after. The family suspected a break in and possible theft but it's later revealed to Jihae that her eldest sister was killed because she was suspected as the shin of their generation when it turns out to be Jihae instead. (2) Jihae's father passed away when she was 15 years old. (3) As mentioned, the Jungs are descendants from the great Dangun and have since been manually branded with tattoos to differentiate the shins and non-shins. That being said, it was easier for each family to have maximum of two children, to keep track of who between them could be a possible shin + the fact that they believed that the lesser they are, the "purer" and more potent the blood and power is. So yeah, Jihae is a "pure blood" because her family's goal really is to keep the lineage alive and clean. (4) Strictly speaking, Jihae should've married and had kids by the age of 18 but because of what happened to her eldest sister, and because she wanted to finish her studies first, the female was spared of that specific tradition. Though of course, there's still talks of marriage proposals going around.
- Will the shins be living under the same roof or just continue on with their normal lives while doing their thing (protecting people) on the sides lines?

SCENE SUGGESTIONS —
- I've added a few scene suggestions around my app, most are in her history and there's one by the trivia as well
- A scene that's almost something like in the walking dead, where one or a few of the members are stuck in a building or room while there are creations outside to get them?
- some arguments within the group that later leads to them unleashing some ink here and there without noticing until another member brings them back to their senses
-  One of the other shins getting a crush on another member or at least their friend lol
- What about Jihae's family getting involved in this? I mean like, they (or at least her uncle-- for character development! huhu) try to help and stop/control the shin that's loosing control but only later into the story because Jihae doesn't really want her family to get more complicated than it already is << this may also end up in an argument within the group cause like "Why didn't you tell us sooner? Do you really wanna see one of us dying first before speaking up?!"
- Dude, plot twist if it turns out that Nabi's actually na "newborn" shin (and/or) if another person close to one of the other applicants are. Like, there isn't only one shin out there on the loose but there's just one mastermind trying to wake their powers up for his/her gain and to expose the shins. So the true enemy here is unknown to be an actual shin or a non-shin.
