HE'S UNDENIABLY FUNNY—WITH HIS SURPRISINGLY HILARIOUS REACTIONS ( WHO KNEW THAT HANDSOME FACE OF HIS COULD EASILY CONTORT TO SOMETHING SO HIDEOUSLY AMUSING ) REFRESHING BLUNT COMMENTS, WITTY REMARKS, lack of academic intelligence, DAD JOKES, AND MISFORTUNE. THERE'S NEVER A TIME THAT HE didn't FAIL IN ANY LUCK-BASED GAMES, AND MANY HAD SAID THAT HE WAS SIMPLY BLESSED BY THE VARIETY GODS. WITH HIS HUMOR, HE LOVED TO BRING THE LAUGHS OUT OF PEOPLE OR AMUSING REACTIONS ( LIKE THAT ONE TIME EVERY ONE FROZE DUE TO THIS LAME PUN HE MADe ).

DESPITE HIS CLOWNISH capabilities, HE'S SURPRISINGLY MATURE—ALWAYS SO RELIABLE, POLITE, WISE BEYOND HIS YEARS AND OPEN-MINDED. IT'S NO WONDER PEOPLE CALLED HIM 'FATHER' WITH HOW HE CAN COME OFF AS A MUCH OLDER MAN WITH MO RE EXPERIENCE IN FE THAN OTHERS. HE'S THE KIND OF GUY YOU GO TO WHEN YOU NEED HELP OR TO BRIGHTEN UP. THE FACT HE ALSO TOOK CARE OF OTHERS ON HIS OWN ACCORD just CEMENTED THOSE IDEAS EVEN MORE. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT HE S KNOWN TO BE VERY MANNERLY AS HE CONSTANTLY GREETED HIS SENIORS AND BOWED An NINETY-DEGREE BOW TO ALL ON ANY OCCASION THAT REQUIRED GREETINGS. it's what happens when you learn how to serve people to the best of your abilities whilst being honest about it.

HE'S ALSO VERY DILIGENT ALWAYS WORKING WITH ALL HIS EFFORT PUT INTO IT. HE WORKED HARD AND WOULD DO HIS BEST TO SATISFY OTHERS AND NOT DISAPPOINT ANYONE. HE HAD GONE FROM BEING A LESS THAN DECENT DANCER TO THAT OF A DANCER WHO COULD SUCCESSFULLY DANCE TO THE PROVIDED CHOREOGRAPHY. PLUS, THE TIME HE HAD DONE MULTIPLE JOBS AND TOOK CARE OF HIS SIBLINGS FROM A YOUNG AGE. HE'S A BELIEVER and the definition OF THE FACT THAT HARD WORK PAYS OFF well.

A very charismatic individual who would draw the eyes of the audience onto him due to his great stage presence. despite not being the official leader, he did have strong leadership. his confidence and social nature made him able to create connections and charm others. his humor, maturity, and diligence also made him all the more attractive. he may not be the most attractive in terms of looks for others, buT there's an undeniable force ( or a sort of vibe ) that really made him stand out.

like any other.
SELFLESS to the core, he would try to help all even if it would sacrifice himself in some sort of way. he would try his best to make the others feel comfortable and to take care of them. sometimes, he even didn't want them to be disappointed or the sort and that's why you would find him diligently dancing to the provided choreography without even sleeping for the whole day. another example would be when he was willing to throw away his dreams as an idol, never went to high school, and worked multiple jobs for his family. being kind is good, but do limit yourself or else you might end up hurting yourself.

he's very frugal, you see. it's what happened when you live a life where you weren't the richest of families. most trainees didn't know how to handle eating cheap meals that would be filling initially—but he had been an expert. he showed an expertise in finding good meals of a very limited price. not only that, but he would rather walk than taking subways or buses or the sort. he had woke up at a very early time just to walk to school. plus, his tendencies to stray away from branded clothing in order to gain cheaper options showed. some thought he was stingy, and most times he didn't want to bother with expensive items. overall, he's the know-how to live a decent life despite a limited amount of cash.

with its thorns. 
he's so loquacious—talking non-stop and striking endless conversations much too easily. he's got a list of experiences and various friends made through his many jobs. and whilst conversations were good and all, sometimes he talked a bit too much. it did make him more striking on variety shows, and his easy-going attitude really lets him talk with ease. but there were many times people commented he talked too much and have cut off the others due to that. he's trying to tone it down, but he definitely still had the capability to chatter the whole day.

a zany man he was, with too many trivial skills and facts to back him up. his ridiculous faces, uncanny luck and more have made the man in charge of gags in the group, the fact that he didn't care much about his image helped a lot too. sometimes his comments throw people off because the more they watched him, the less of an idol he seemed. some even asked him jokingly on what he's going to do if they can't take him seriously as he sang but he always replied that it's all fine and he was just staying true to himself.

sometimes, he wished he had gone to school so he wouldn't be so dense. he admits that he lacked the knowledge you gained from academics, such as english, history, science and the sort. it's not rare to see someone give him a question that required knowledge with him answering with a witty and rather dumb answer. he laughed it off, but he did felt it was a bit unfair to be insulted about it. he did, after all, sacrificed that kind of intellect for his family. but at least he was good with basic mental calculations and counting money. 

so very erratic, was he. no one knew what he was thinking most times, with a tendency to want to the most random of things during random times. he could even switch topics whilst conversing so quickly yet in such a way you would just go along with it. but most times, these topics would not even relate. he tends to do what he felt like and only maintained a predictable attitude when being professional in a job. on shows or the sort, well, he just went with whatever came to mind first and shock everyone else with the sudden wish of his.

CHAPTER 01.
a taxi driver for a father, a small, a waitress for a mother, it's not a surprise that they had to work hard so that there could live under a roof. they're barely surviving, and it's difficult to take care of him when they had to work so much. he's actually growing up with his aunt ( who lived nearby ) more so than them. but thanks to his aunt, he didn't feel all that depressed.

but when he started to go to school and saw the many parents sent their children there, giving them hugs and kisses, he did felt quite envious. even so, his aunt would always tell him that he shouldn't throw tantrums and he knew his parents would try their hardest to come back home at an early time to be able to shower him with love and care.

CHAPTER 02.
he's been a huge fan of sechskies ever since they debuted ( even if he had been only around five at the time ). his aunt always blasts their music whenever she could and he would be absolutely excited when their music played. he had also cried with the woman when they disbanded ( during the year he turned eight/nine ). but even so, they left an impact on him and he would find himself listening to several k-pop idol groups and singing along to it.

k-pop idol bands aside, he even gained siblings throughout those years. he gained a sister younger than him by three years and twin brothers younger than him by five years. somehow they managed to be spawned despite his parent's busy schedule, but he did not complain. instead, he doted on them all and took care of them excitedly. his aunt would teach him gently how to handle them and soon, he'd be able to take care of them on his own.

CHAPTER 03.
despite there being new groups in k-pop, he preferred to search for the ones from the older times. as his aunt was a huge k-pop fan when she was younger, he found himself listening to groups like turbo, dj doc and the sort.  still, that made him love music and to want to sing and dance on stage.

unfortunately, he couldn't really apply for proper lessons to be a better singer or dancer, however, he still sang and danced whenever he could. he also tried to imitate multiple techniques from what he's heard and through that, he learned how to sing.it's become a hobby at first, but everyone knew that he wanted to be an idol.

despite that, he still managed to chores, help take care of his siblings, and he could even cook a decent meal for them by the age of ten. by twelve, his parents and aunt could actually leave him to deal with the rest on his own. he's got a knack for taking care of them and that's most likely why one of the twins called him 'dad' rather than 'brother'. unfortunately, this caused a short time for him to focus on his studies and he would frequently pass his class by only a slim margin due to having to focus on his family.

in all honesty, he didn't mind what he's doing. and watching his stressed out classmates, he made it his goal to make everything much easier for them by bringing some ease to the tension through causing laughter. he's the class clown and many tend to depend on him due to how responsible he was. lacking in intelligence he may be, but he definitely was a good person that everyone could rely on.

it's also thanks to his classmates that he got so into anime. honestly, the effects and stories interested him so much that he would frequently marathon it with his siblings ( albeit, the kid friendly ones of course ).

CHAPTER 04.
during the last year of junior high school, his father had died due to an accident during driving. it's because of this that he had decided to drop out from school to work instead ( he constantly hid his age, thanking for his height and mature features to let that work ). so he did a variety of jobs such as waiter, convenience store cashier, the person who grilled the meat, janitor, busboy, catalog model and the list goes on. 

his family had initially been against this, but he pointed out that right now, his mother had been having difficult times even when with their father around. his siblings were far too young too and his aunt had already done too much for them ( heck, she's letting them stay together with her so they wouldn't have as much as money need to gain ). he also mentioned that there would be one fewer school funds to pay for and wouldn't mind doing this for his family.

so, for almost the entirety of what his high school was supposed to be, he had been doing as many jobs as he could possibly handle. but when his mother had managed to find a better job for her that had a higher income, he worked less and less. he's also become even more of a father figure to his siblings even though he was only some years older than them. 

he's also thankful for the many people he managed to become close with through his jobs who helped him out during such hard times. of course, his age was eventually found out on occasions but he managed to find new jobs to indulge in if he was kicked out of the job due to that.

CHAPTER 05.
after his mother managed to find a more stable job ( and with more assistance from his aunt too ), he actually didn't really need to work so hard anymore. plus, his siblings had studied hard in order to gain a scholarship so that there would be even less to worry about for the adults ( and him ).

that's why his whole family decided that this was his chance to pursue the dreams he had pushed away during his days working non-stop. sure, there was a high chance of many things going wrong but they wanted to give him something for once rather than him giving something for them. so by the age when he would have graduated from high school, he searched for agencies to enter.

but first, he had to go busking with a friend of his ( who was dreaming to be a solo singer rather than an idol ). they had met each other at one of his jobs and bonded together through their love of music. they also promised to do busking once and he took this moment as the chance.

it's almost as if fate brought them together actually. not him and his friend, though—rather, him and eclipse.

you see, during the busking performance, there had been a woman in search for talent to recruit them into eclipse. when she saw him showcase his singing skills ( and his looks were simply a bonus ), she had come to him with a business card and an offer to audition. ecstatic and rather a naive man, he had instantly decided to apply for eclipse first. even if certain, more notable, other people of the same job but from different companies ( there was one sm worker and that just made him nostalgic about the sechskies fans raging against h.o.t ) he would put them second to eclipse ( and reject them if eclipse was to take him in first ). 

and yes, eclipse took him in. when he told that to his family they had wondered if it was better for him to work on the more famous companies, but he had been innocent and stated that he believed in this and would return if he thought it was too much.

Trivia
