PERSONALITY 

It's always intimadating to meet Alex because she's so fierce and she resembles her mother so much. Her loyalty is honorable and she knows who to call enemies. Alex is known as a fighter, a warrior, a protector, a natural-born leader. Her stern attitude earns a lot of her brothers and sister's respect. It's also true that she can be a little over-protective. She is quick-witted and is always seeking to learn, never forgetting she always have room for improvement. Her weapons does not only consist of swords and fists but her tongue as well. Once someone starts something, she won't hold back for no one. It's pretty hard to get her to lose her temper but it's easy to trigger her. And because she's so clever, she'll know which strings to pull in order to get you to shut up.  Although she is very clever, she can also be very arrogant. Being skilled in many activities, it's hard for her stay humble. She very much enjoys competitions and is willing to take anyone on. She'll let wonder into something her  can't handle. Alex can sometimes be brutal with her words, she can't sugar-coat anything with her blunt mouth. When it comes to her showing affection, it's a tough-love kind of thing. Too much affection can make you soft, she'll say. She has a weird way of showing intimacy. Truth is, it's probably the way she saw how miserable her father was growing up. She just doesn't want to end up hurt. She's wary of love and doesn't know how to cope with jealousy well. The thing she's most petty about is her intentional ability of making sure someone's interested in her doesn't last. She has had a few flings but they weren't real and it never fazed her. It also never lasts because she doesn't have the "game" and she nevers wants to keep a guy on her for long. It's like catching a fish, reeling it in, but the moment she takes it off the hook she let's it swim away. She makes a lot of friends but her intelligence only goes as far as wars and books, love is something  Alex Smith is unwilling to conquer.

    "I'm pretty, smart, and strong. If I were nice-- wouldn't that be too good to be true?"

 

BACKGROUND  

Alex lived a normal life despite the fact that her mother was Athena. She never met the women before, only times she even seen her was paintings and photographs of how humans percieved her to be. Alex read all different kinds of books to try to get a glimpse of her mother personality. "That's your mom" her dad would say while pointing at an old painting of Athena, the Greek Goddess. When she was young she witnessed her father out on the balcony praying to her mother. It would always end with an "I still love you" or an "I miss you". She didn't understand at first, but after growing up she realized Athena doesn't love her father the way he loved her. Nonetheless, her mother was never part of her life. And she wants to keep it that way. So ever since she made the assumption of her mother not loving her father, she never opened another book to read about her. 

Her father tried his best to let Alex grow up with a normal life but always wanted her to stick to her roots so he encouraged her to read all the Greek Gods and Goddesses books for her own protection. They were wealthy and lived a healthy life style. Only problem was, Alex always had a hard time "blending in". Her strength was hard to tame and she always picked fights at schools. She had quite a lot on her school record which didn't make it any easier to be spotted because she took first place in all the sports. Besides always getting into fights and breaking things in the house, she took part in a lot of extra curricular activities and even took martial arts. She quickly climbed up the belt levels but was taken out of martial arts during her brown belt season to go to "camp" instead. She was originally suppose to attend camp at the age of thirteen but she convinced her father that she can handle her skills on her own. After three years, the media started to shine their light on her. Many people tried to get her to join the olympics, sponsor after sponsor. her father realized that his daughter was too ambitious to learn and compete and he need to send her off to that camp whether he liked it or not.  

 

LIFESTYLE  

Alex stays year round and sometimes goes back home to visit for winter break and spring break. She always goes back home on her father's birthday though. She can't miss that. When she started her first year at camp, she didn't know anyone besides her half siblings but the moment she enganged more, she made friends easily. She hangs out with everyone and anyone.  You would probably find her at the sword fighting area most of the time. She enjoys watching and taking part in mock battling. She's always down to do out door activities and play around in the sun. Of course she always took part in capture the flag, her siblings and her have quite a reputation. Alex likes to be productive, so if she has nothing to do then she'll be in the library or her room reading scrolls and just about anything she can get her hands on. They're a lot of nymphs and satyrs that she befriended and visit because she feels like they're all very knowledgable and they can tell her stories. She's always down for a good story telling.

John is the backbone of Alex. They have a very close relationship, they were all each other had. John is an orphan, his parents died when he was 19. He was off studying in the US for business and his parents got into an car accident back in Australia. John is a wise man and is very passionate. He's down to earth and has a very steady and calming personality. John and Alex went and did father and daughter things. They went to the movies, the ball games, they would often go to the park and play football. He always went to all of her school games and witness how his lovely daughter grew up to be as ambitious as her mother. 

 

There isn't much to go here because Alex pretty much hates her mother. When they first met, Alex didn't didn't show a shread of interest. Maybe the 6 year old her would scream and cry of joy but her now? Nah. The women who gives you life doesn't deserve the title of a mother if she didn't play her role. 

Mark Tuan is Alex's number one rival.  It all started with a mock battle. Mark made ist joke during Alex's mock battle with one of the Ares sons. Alex then challenged Mark to a mock battle after defeating his brother. Alex won the battle by accidently "pushing" Mark into the lake with her sword. She reached her hand out to help him out of the water but he pulls her down and she falls in too. And ever since, Alex and Mark's bickering never seem to cease. However, it only took one activity to actually get them off of each other's back. They were both paired to work for each other instead of against and Mark had to admit although he was extremely annoyed, she was really strategic and her plan brought them to victory. Mark on the other had was surprisingly cooperative during the activity. After that, the bickering came to a hault. Of course, their competitiveness was still lingering but it was more of an allie and friendly play. It didn't take long for everyone to realize that the two "rivals" were clearly interested in each other. Alex was oblivious to the whole situation but Mark made it clear he was interested in her.  

PERSONALITY  

Mark loses his temper easily. He's a very loyal person to his seniors and takes pride in his cabin. To be quite honest, he doesn't have any other friends besides all his "half siblings". They're all quite a like and take interest in the same things. He's a daredevil and is always up for getting dirty. He's despicable and loves to drown  himself in his pool of pettiness and savagery. Mark's sarcasm has no chill.  Alex would have a sword to his head and he'd somehow make a joke out of the enitire situation. It's kind of how he runs from things;  Mark is a bag full of memes and funny jokes to mask his insecurities and fears in life.  He is known for his excellence in combat. Mark is very strong and knows the anatomy of many different beings. He knows where to hit to kill something. Although he is somewhat a bully, he is very respectful to all the people he see's fit as leaders at camp. He seems untamable but he actually comes off as very obedient and always follows orders if he knows it's just. He's known for being ruthless, sly, sarcastic, negative, impulsive, inconsiderate, polite to his seniors, and erted. If Mark were a "7 deadly sins" trait, Lust would probably come second after Greed. 

Scene Requests: 

- ALOT OF BICKERING OVER DUMB LIKE THE LAST KETCHUP PACKET OR WHO GETS TO GO FIRST IN LINE. They'll fight and duel over the dumbest things because Mark would push Alex to the edge and Alex can't stand knowing Mark is on her .

> "Dude, I got it first." Alex said pulling on one end of the ketchup packet as Mark pulled the other. "You don't even eat ketchup, Smith." Mark rolled his eyes. She knew that he was toying with her, and Alex really doesn't have the patience to be affiliating herself with this guy. "Whatever just take it, you're so childish." Mark smirked, he wanted to see how he could tick her off. Alex promised she'd get her friend, sitting back at the table, some ketchup but guess she'd have to return to the table empty handed. "Geez, why so cold today,  Alex? Can't handle a little Tuan today?" She turned around to walk away not giving him a single word. "Mm, like mother like daughter. Quess you're too good to talk to me now?" She turned back to face him, "Shut. Up." Her eyes twitched from erupting anger. "What? You don't like it when I talk about your mama? Aww, baby Alexgator miss riding her mama's head everywhere she went" He talked in this sicken baby-like voice. The entire cafeteria roared in laughter. He walked her and patted her cheek, "Aw, did I hurt your feelings Pallex?" He said smothering her with his sarcasm. She quickly flipped him unto the table of dirty dishes and landed a punch right next to his head. "Look, I really don't have the time today so get off my , why don't ya? Or do you want to take this outside so I can really beat you to a pulp?" Mark smirked, "Mm, feisty. Markie likes." Just as Mark's siblings stood up from their table, Alex's sibling stood up as well. This was war.

- When Alex and Mark began developing feelings for each other, Alex makes him a necklace with a sword pendant. Of course it looked wonky, but he kept it around his neck at all times because it's the thought that counts-- right?

- Mark takes care of Alex when she's sick and accidently falls asleep in her cabin. Mark need to pee so they almost get caught by the Harpies. They ended up being okay.

- Alex gets jealous of a girl from the Aphrodite cabin because she has a huge crush on Mark, and Alex doesn't know what to do when she gets jealous. So she takes it out on Mark. Alex is jealous of how beautiful she is and how everything she does looks like art. Her beauty is nothing compared to the girl and she feels like a total for being so envious. 

- They had to hide the fact they liked each other because they legit started a war between cabins. So they were times their cabins would pick fights and they'd have to act like they hated eachother. This one time Mark's "older brother" was bullying one of the sons from Hebe's cabin and Mark stopped him from hitting him and totally changed the atmosphere. This just showed that his relationship with Alex was changing him to be a nicer and more patient person. 

- At first Mark was shamed for hooking up with Alex, but he made it clear that he really did like Alex and he didn't care if it offended anyone. To prove that he didn't care, he calls out his haters and kisses Alex in front of everyone. 

 

 

 

"WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF CAMP?"  At first it was quite difficult, I knew no one and my entire cabin was apparently my half-siblings. I can't lie when it comes to blendin' in though, my first impression was "Now I don't need to hold back. My powers are appreciated here." *Slightly smiles*

 

"WHAT POWER(S) HAVE YOU INHERITED FROM YOUR IMMORTAL PARENT?"  I inherited the wisdom and strength of Athena. I believe that I have a great sense of leadership, maybe I got that from her too? I really don't know-- I can't craft anythin' though. I'm not really good at makin'  stuff. 

 

"WHAT IS YOUR FATAL FLAW?"  Fatal flaw? Haha, I do tend to think highly of myself. And I suppose I do challenge people without thinkin' I can possibly fail. I highly doubt I will though. *Smirks* 

 

"WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT THE CAMP?"  Learnin' and participatin' in activities. 

 

"APOLLO IS HOT, FACT OR OPINION?"  Well, it's definitely a fact, that's because he's the sun god. My opinion though? He ain't all that.
