Textbook-girl - Before everyone called her "Hei", no one knew who she was. They knew of her but never took interest to getting to know her. She dropped her textbook on the floor in class once during a lesson and was scolded by the teacher. They kinda just referred to her as "Oh, the textbook-girl?"

Heiryung isn't one to sit and wait to be told. She knows that she can be helpful and she utilize her time and effort well. Although she can be a bit picky and nit picks at every little detail, she's a team player. She works well with others. She's reliable and would rather much just do what she is told in order to get the job done. She's knowledgable in a lot of things and comes in handy when needed. Very analytical and always knows the right answer to questions.
Perfectionist + Unsympathetic + Uncaring + Impatient; Heiryung has an attitude and isn't very friendly at first. She's sarcastic and can really care less about others. She has this arrogant appearance at first because well-- she's quite judgemental. But that's not the case. She walks through life very seriously as a witch and see's herself as unimportant because everyone else doesn't matter to her so why would she matter to anyone? Heiryung doesn't strive to be the best witch or the most powerful, but she strives to be the most useful. Everything she does has to be perfectly done, especially her magic. Although she's very timid and laid back, don't be fooled. If anyone intends to hurt Heiryung, she'll bite back. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty, for a good cause of course.

Both her parents are witches. Her mother uses garden magic, purely worshipping the earth for what it has created. Her father on the other hand is very powerful witch. He practices and uses death and spirits. It's quite weird how those two fall in love, but in the end they only wanted the best for their daugther. Her mother's family is Christian and her father's is.... well-- dead. They died in a car accident. The accident drove her father to studying witch craft, the only way to speak to his parents again. Everyone in the town hated him, for they knew what he did. When her mother's family found out that she was pregnant by her father, she was disowned for carrying the town's most cursed man's child and for practicing what her family called "Satan worshipping". It's sad to say that her mother's parents locked up her mother and insisted on killing the child after birth. Heiryung was born in the basement and before the family was able to harm her and her her mom, her father came to the rescue. They fled from KwangJu to Seoul hoping for a better and safer upbringing for their daughter. They never returned.
Heiryung had an easy childhood because she always stayed away from large crowds. Her parents were never worried about her causing trouble with the family secret and all because she liked being a loner and always strayed away from the popular kids. She made small connections here and there but for the most part, she was pretty secretive. It wasn't until Highschool when she actually started wanting to join extra curricular activities and after school clubs. Her parents were a little worried. Why is it now that their daughter is beginning to want to come out? They guess maybe she was maturing and started picking up random interests, like tennis. She wasn't great at tennis but she enjoyed playing with others. High school was probably the only time she actually made real friends. Where she actually felt like she belonged and welcomed.

i am a witch
Heiryung does a lot of reading so sometimes she just studies and looks into the type of magic, find out it's history, where it originates from, how to use it and that's about it. She practices just about anything. She's mastered areokinesis and agility but she mainly works with sigils. She just enjoys learning about different types of magic and how to use it. She does, however, practice the most with sigil magic. She learned different sigils and memorized them like they're at the back of her hand. There are so many different sigils in the witch world, they things she can do. Open doors, banish evil, call forth forces, everything about sigils just amazes her. It's a very tedious job but it useful so she bares with it. She knows where to find ingredients to do certain spells. Heiryung has a very powerful memorization. She can remember sigils, spells, just about anything she reads. She just doesn't think she's capable to practice all the spells on her own. Her mother and father teaches her often. They teach her anything the know and surprisingly, their daughter never complain a word if it's too difficult. Heiryung keeps a low profile, so there's not even a chance that her friends know she's a witch-- unless they are a witch themselves.

Celestial
Although Celestial is just a cat, she was her first friend. Uriel found Celestial in 7th grade, right around the time she was getting her witch powers. Maybe Celestial sensed the powers dripping from Heiryung, maybe she was just hungry. Heiryung was waiting at the bus stop from school to go home when the milk carton she saved from lunch fell out of her backpack bursting on the floor. She quickly picked it up before noticing a small kitten eyeing and inching it's way up to the spilt milk. It softly rubbed on against the young girl's leg before taking a of the milk off the ground. The kitten followed Heiryung home that night. -- Celestial makes Heiryung feel safe and calm. They're quite fond of each other.
Cho NARI
Cho Nari is special to Heiryung. Although she's younger than Nari, she likes to think that she can take care of her. With Heiryung's dull personality, Nari is her perfect half. Uriel usually doesn't get along with others easily because she always has her guard up. But with Nari, she can put down that wall she created. They met through school of course. Heiryung went to an after scool club to "try it out" when in reality, she only went because Mark Tuan was the one who invited her. Nari is the captain of the club and made sure Heiryung felt comfortable and welcomed. She went to thank Nari after the club, "Of course. I gotta make my fellow witches at school here feel welcomed." She winked at Heiryung before leaving her in awe. Ever since, Heiryung hung around Nari often. She convinced herself that she hangs out with Nari because she's a witch too but truth is, Heiryung just genuinely enjoys her company.
mARK tUAN
Mark Tuan. The popular boy, the tennis player, the school's volleyball libero, and Lee Heiryung's all time crush. Heiryung wanted to try out tennis and when she came to the first day of practice, she was the only person with no experience. Mark insisted on showing her the form and how to hit the ball. Something about him charmed her. He was kind and made Heiryung melt. After their little encounter she thought that she'd probably never talk to Mark again. One of the popular boys actually remembering a nobody like her? Nah. But there was not a single day where Mark didn't say hello when passing by. He'd occasionally invite Heiryung to hang outs with his friends. Of course, she'd kindly decline. Nari on the other hand, purposely drags Heiryung to all the hang outs Mark are attending to knowing of their little interest in each other.

Heiryung prefers to do her face in the morning. She calls it "putting on her identity" because she thinks she looks different without make-up. She always has bandaids on her fingers and hand because of she practices sigils and spells with her family. If anyone asks then it's just because of tennis, "blisters" she'll say. She has long dark brown hair that she likes to soft wave once in a while. Most of the time she just leaves her hair straight. She's 167 cm and 50 kg. Heiryung goes to the gym to stay fit and in shape. She likes to gain muscles because she personally like the physical ability to protect herself. She has a tattoo of an anti-possession sigil on her right abdomin and she has another sigil to ward off evil righ below her ankle. Her parents too have them in the same place. It's a family thing.

She likes to wear comfy knitted sweatshirts when it's chilly out, but if it's warm and sunny she'll wear an tight crop top with a pair of shorts or leggings with any overall on top (bomber jacket, jean jacket, leather jacket, sweatshirt, plain zip-up, cardigan). She likes to look nice every day. (It really depends on the color of the uniform and what's allowed but if it were for me to explain what I would like--) Heiryung wears a white dress shirt underneath her school jacket. She wears a loose tie and knee high socks with her school shoes. (First one)

the quiet girl who either always does what she's told or off somewhere on her own. she doesn't speak much but when she does, it's either she comes off as snobby or she's uninteresting. there's no in between.

Nari waited a few seconds before asking, "You're not coming are yo-" "Nope." She replied without a hesitation. "Uri!" The older girl whines while the younger one ignored. Nari sighed before walking away. Her dear friend, Heiryung, is helpless. -- Just as Heiryung thought she was off the clock, she recieved a text message from her only friend-- Nari. It read, [ IF YOU DON'T COME, I'M TELLING EVERYONE THAT YOU LIKE MARK TUAN! ;) see ya there love <3 ]. Heiryung rolled her eyes in annoyance before angerily texting back, [You're the worst].
