Author / Reader Tag :D

Taken from MissMinew, as usual.

As a writer...

I like:

  1. Starting a story.
  2. Doing research on settings, characters, names. It's interesting and I usually learn a lot.
  3. Developing my characters.
  4. Dialogue. If I could write a story solely in dialogue, I would...Maybe I will. One day :D
  5. Listening to my music while I write.
  6. Getting feedback of any kind. I find you guys are too nice here btw XD <3

I dislike:

  1. Finding spelling/punctuation/grammar mistakes after I've posted a story/chapter. It's one of my greatest pet peeves!!
  2. Repeating the same word over and over again. I *always* have a thesaurus open when I write.
  3. Not finding the right word.
  4. Not being able to write descriptions. Settings or people or situations or emotions.
  5. Losing the personality of my character. I find I do that sometimes (read "a lot"). But maybe that's a good thing, for the reader.
  6. Silent readers/subscribers. SAY SOMETHING, ANYTHING! Did you like it/not like it? Did you stop reading mid-way through? Why? What annoyed you? What made you giddy? Did I misspell something, or did I make a grammar mistake? Tell me!!! :P
  7. Having to sleep when I'm on a roll. I can literally knock out like 10 chapters when I'm inspired, but then sleep hits me and I have to stop. WHY DX
  8. (Going with #7) Starting from where I left off. I probably had an idea of where I wanted to go with the rest of the story, however because of having to take a break, I don't remember. I need to start leaving notes for myself...
  9. On AFF, subscribers who unsubscribe. Well, I don't dislike it, it's just weird. None of my stories requires you to subscribe (you just have to be a member), so why did you subscribe if you were going to unsubscribe anyway?
  10. Being unable to write celeb/celeb fics. I've written a couple, but I want to write more...I find it's hard to find inspiration for them, to my frustration.
  11. Ending a story. As in I tend to create it quite suddenly; the flow isn't that good. I found conclusions very hard to write in school essays too T_T

[Woooow I have a lot of dislikes as a writer haha :\ ]

As a reader...

I like:

  1. Good grammar. Like REALLY GOOD grammar.
  2. TopBom. Side stories about Big Bang and 2NE1 are fine too, but TopBom as a central pairing is a must ^^
  3. Song Ji Hyo and anyone other than Running Man members and Lee Dong Wook paired with her. Even though I am a fan of Spartace, Monday Couple, and her with Lee Dong Wook; I just need more variety people!
  4. Creativity and comprehensiveness. Sure, the plot could be amazing and original and different, but it has to make sense!
  5. . #noshame ;)

I dislike:

  1. Spelling and punctuation mistakes. Have none or as little as possible please!
  2. /yuri. I don't mind it when it's not in a fan fiction context, but in a fan fiction context...I usually don't go out of my way to read it. Maybe it's because I can't imagine any of these celebrities being homoual, even though they could be. Meh. Just not my thing ^^ (I can read threesomes though lol, mmf of ffm.)
  3. Anything to do with Girls' Generation/SNSD and/or f(x). This is a weird one, but I just can't do it for some reason.
  4. EXO. Not the group itself, just the stories about them. There are so many on AFF and I don't feel like filtering through them to find one I want to read.
  5. OCs, which is horrible but true. They tend to be modelled after the author herself (tends to be female which is why I used that pronoun) and I want to be able to put myself in her shoes. BUT that's why I write, so my OCs are modelled after me ;D
