Why do you write?

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

I'll actually have to credit parts of this to my best friend Kaiten3693. It started out with LadyTickleBack. But since then I have come out as trans and it sticks with mastress for now during the transition period - which I have to credit to a roleplay friend. It's a combination of Master and Mistress. The tickle back comes from me having an extremely ticklish back.

2. Which is your most subscribed story?

Yoga. A MarkSon story with 3155 subscribers.

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because I've been roleplaying for a few years, and I've created this amazing couple - who has been together for almost 3 years - and I had a wonderful friend who could photoshop Himchan and Jay Park into a kissing picture.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

My AFF bestie.. Without counting my real life friends, I'd have to pick Harlot.

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

The Beast (JongKey - SHINee) - It's incomplete and hasn't been updated for 1.5 years, but I'm crossing my fingers and pray for it to be continued some day. That doesn't do, I'm a huge fan of Beta Tau Sigma (NamJin + SugaMin - BTS)

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

926 stories. And that's not counting the ones on AO3.

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

That varies a lot! Currently, I am working on one with Jimin being rebellious and runs away from home in search of a reason to live. If not that, then I'm good at fantasy AUs.

8. How many friends do you have?

865 souls. I am a very friendly person, and I don't bite.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

I'm planning on writing a story about worth in life. It's going to be ed up, barabric and thought provoking, so I'm not sure I should post it.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

I would like to be more consistent with my writing and updating schedule. Right now it happens as I go with it.

11. How many subscribers do you have?

Unique Subs: 8012

Total Subs: 13869

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

53, many have been drafted and some are roleplays, so those doesn't count. If I count those I have transferred to my AO3, I have 19 works good enough to go there.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

A few hundreds? I don't know. I have 3 serious ones, and like 396 saved promts I'd like to work with when I stop roleplaying and being busy with school.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I write them down. I have notebooks, yellow post-it notes, notes on my phone, word documents, emails to myself and much more with ideas...

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

I've read two stories with a good friend. Aside from that, I co-author when I beta-read.

16. How did you discover AFF?

My friend introduced it to me just as I got into kpop and was like "you need to see this".

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Not really. No one have told me they spazz about talking to me, so no. I am a decent one. Not good nor bad.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Nope. I don't have that many loyal readers that I know of, so why give something that doesn't really exist a name?

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Harlot has been my inspiration for a long time. Kaiten3693 has too. She is my best friend IRL too, so she encourages me a lot just as I do the same to her.

20. How many karma points do you have?

4733, but I have spent a lot on roleplays for buying slaves and stuff.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Write write write and write. And when you're done writing, then you read. Read read read read read read read read and when you're done, you read some more.
That, and read through your story again one more time before you post it to remove the most stupid mistakes. If you at doing that, find yourself a beta reader.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I plan. I plan a lot and plan some more. And many times I have all these 'what if' scenarios because my characters never behave as I want them to. So often I end up having one plan but using another because someone got their in a bunch.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

To me, there are no bad comments as long as they are constructive. So while I have gotten comments about something not being up to par, then the commenter has been nice to tell me how to improve. And once it's constructive, it isn't a bad comment. Someone who say something without telling why those are bad people.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

I can't write angst to save my life. I am trying, though.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

I recently finished my BangHim story, so now I'm focusing on my school assignments while working on these on the side.

Nothing - GOT7 - Various pairings

Ace in the hole - BTS - YoonMin

Post-it love - BTS - NamJin

Hypnotic Poison - GOT7 - MarkSon

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Always. Like mentioned above, I am working on four stories right now, and only two are posted. And that's not to mention the school assignment that I have to write too.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

None. I write when I feel like it. I don't force myself into writing anything. When I force myself, the quality and I don't like that.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

LIKE SO MUCH I CAN'T EVEN FATHOM I DARED POSTING THE FIRST ONES. Oh my ing god. Not only have I learned about how to build a good story that isn't carried solely by , but I've also learned the English language a lot better. I have plenty of information and knowledge on writing now that I've decided to share my information with others (shameless self promo to Jacks' beta-reading, writing tips and grammar lessons).

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Of completed ones: Faceless. Of unfinsihed ones: Hypnotic Poison.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Oh my god, where do I start? Everything that I posted until 2014?

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

I hope I'm still writing by then. I hope to have Hypnotic Poison published too. Aside from that, I wish to teach others how to write their own stories.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

543

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

To say something is easy is to negligence writing. Sometimes it's character development, sometimes it's world building, sometimes it's finding the right words, sometimes it's finding words in general, sometimes it's sticking to a plot. It varies so often and depends on which story I am writing on.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Like mentioned above, those things are the easiest things, but on another day or in another story, those things can be the hardest things to do.

35. Why do you write?

I have a story to share. I love to write and I love to see how seperate, individual words can form into a paragraph that can have the reader at the edge of the chair, hard in their pants, or crying for the characters. To write is to share a story and move people, whether it being one way or another.  Writing is as amazing as it's challenging, and it definitely maps out the development in my own person. I've read one of my first stories and I downright flinched at something I had written. Not because the writing was wrong or horrible in terms of grammar, or the plot was stupid. Actually I liked the plot, but the way I had descriped group dynamics has my teacher alarmbells ring in distress. And to think I once considered that the right reaction. Going back to read something you wrote a while ago will make you realize just how much you've developed and changed as a person. And that realization is scary.
