APPEARANCE — Elves being fairy-like creatures, they are more beautiful than mortals and other creatures. Bae Aeri, being one of the members of the royal family, she has long silky golden-silver hair. This royal color distinguishes her from other average elves. She is one of the prettiest in the family, her eyes are a warm hazel brown, and oozes a warm calming feeling from her features. She has slightly pointed ears. A small smirk that always adorn the full lusciousness of her lips hinted the deviance in her, the rebellious spirit that is beneath the elegant appearance.
She always wear a green gown (like those in the hobbit). When she is in the fighting ground, she changes to a green combat suit. Her hair is sometimes tied into a long braid or just naturally flowing down to her waist. She has used magic to maintain her hair a warm hazel brown (matching with her eye colour) during the battle for the crown to conceal her identity as a royal family member.

She is studious and smart, often lingering in the library. She is intelligent because she can pick things up real fast. She also have a habit of observing things and people so she imitates them and even improves it. Due to her curious nature, she often creeps out of the huge mansion to take a swim in the vast ocean or stroll in the forest. She is quite a deviant, her high intelligence and the dark magic inside her allowed her to stray from the right path and she tends to cheat to get what she want since she thinks that it's the fatest and effortless way. For the dark magic that she possesses, she would only use it in secret, but what she does not know is that, the dark magic can get fused with the white magic inside her, and after some time, she would not be able to tell which is which.
She believes that actions speak louder than words, and she admire those who are practical. She isn't good with words, so she often show her ideas with actions. This also lead to her not willing to plan beforehand because before she could think of a plan, she is already in action. She is a creature that could change her mind in a split of a second, saving that creature first but then killing it later. She makes rash decisions following her sixth sense. As an elf, other than having high intelligence, she is also emerged in nature, so she depends on her senses a lot. She often goes with the flow instead of sticking to a plan.. She rarely makes plans, even rare for detailed plans. She generally picks ambush over fighting in daylight because she isn't that confident with her strength. As an outcast since born, she lacks acceptance from others and this results in her lack of confidence in herself. Though being in the hunter group helped her build confidence by killing off Wentigo, she is only confident around the group of hunters. When she is alone, she doubts herself quickly.
However, in issues that involve with relationship, she is quite an innocent creature, she easily believes in people. This has its perks. She is trusting but because of this trait, she is also easily deceived and easily tricked. She is an easy target for manipulation.
Due to the lack of social skills, she craves for friends but sometimes, she may come off as too clingy which may throw some people off. She loves being in a team because it makes her feel wanted, and she does everything to ensure that she would gain praises from the team. But whether she is a good team player or not... it depends on whether you'd perceive a cheating time bomb as a good teammate. (Actually is cheating allowed? Are there any rules in the battleground?) She treasures praises and acceptance a lot, so she wouldn't even think of betraying her team. And she hates people who betrays their own team.
She doesn't hide her emotions and is pretty straightforward. For one, its because she doesnt know how to deal with people, so she tend to spill everything out to those that she comes across. She is always like an open book that you can read through, but even the simpliest stories have plot twists, and she has one or two secrets of her own that is buried so deep that you wont know.
She is a rather selfish person. Due to her childhood and the way she was treated, she only has herself. So everything that she does is solely because out of her own desire. She would think twice before helping others, if it means that she can gain another friend or would help with the image of being a princess then she would do it, if not, she would leave the person there to die. In fact, the purpose of entering the battle for the crown was also because of her own personal desire rather than protecting the elf realm or anything that is high-sounding.
She can be scary when she is affected by rage. It wasn't that bad when she was young. But the dark magic that she has learnt was slowly consuming her and when she is angry, the dark magic would control her, making her lose control. Sometimes, she would even lose consciousness when being controlled by the dark magic. When affected by dark magic, her physical body becomes ten times weaker than usual, and she becomes like a blood-thirsty beast, much like a degraded Wendigo but with magic powers and good shooting skills and she wouldn't feel any pain even when attacked so she wouldn't even know that she died.
TRIVIA —
-the way she moves so elegantly and fights as if she was dancing and her smile is the definition of beauty. But the way she thinks so carelessly and he rebellious self is the complete opposite of her calm, collected and perfect appearance.
-she learnt dark magic since she was five. And she has never regretted it.
The ancient books on dark magic can only be found in the basement of the royal family's library. She has felt a pull and it led her wandering to the basement. She was like hypnotized but she moved towards the dark magic section and found herself picking out a book from there and kept it under her bed ever since. She vaguely remembered during her trip to the basement, the door to the basement was unlocked. But usually, the door was locked. But she didn't think much of it and was captivated by the powerful magic in the book she managed to steal.
-To obtain dark magic powers, she has sacrificed her singing ability. She used to love to sing and though her parents don't favor her, at times when they need to brag about her, they would say that her singing is beautiful. She likes singing and humming to songs. Before, her singing can heal plants, revive withered flowers, but now her voice changed and when she sings, it's like a painful scream, or a screech, so unpleasant that the plants start to wither. She still embraces her voice and still loves it but for other reason. She sings to torture others and to make eerie sounds to annoy others.
-she loves playing with water. She sometimes walks on water and uses water to transport her.
-though she likes water, she doesn't like rain. She likes the sun more because it's warm.
-she loves stargazing.
-she is easily scared and would become a total crying mess when someone pull horrible pranks on her, like poking her at the back then waving a chopped of Wentigo's arm at her

-she likes to cling onto friends 24/7, she would show all sorts of skinship with her friends, and would ask incessant questions whenever you are happy, sad, or just want to be alone; and she always fantasize living with her frinds and creep into their beds at night and sleep beside them
-she likes spicy things, pepper and kimchi, and the colour red is her favourite
-she has a scar. She got that scar from a fight with a wentigo. She was alone at that time. The male wentigo was way too strong and she was frightened to the max, so the dark magic oozed out of her and due to her weakened body during the times when she was taken over by dark magic, his nails (long nails?) made sharp and deep scratches on her upper left arm. Those scratches look as if it's a pair of antlers, but it also looks like thorns at the same time. The scractch wouldn't heal even when she gained back her consciousness.

FAMILY —
The royal family never paid attention to her. Her father was the King while her mother was a concubine who has died from giving birth to her. Because she was the youngest and because of the priests foreseeing that she is able to possess both power to manipulate magic and her healing powers, they see her as a weirdo and a creature that is even weaker than an average elf. They granted her all the materialistic desires and just hope that she would not cause a ruckus and stay hidden. She brought shame to the family. The royal family wasn't a fan of the four year system since it doesn't concern them (as long as the new king doesn't bother with the elf realm). They still encourage youngsters to participate though, since it'd be great to have the elves reign over all realms but they don't really mind even if the elves lost the battle.
FRIENDS —
For elves, they do not interact with other races. However, as a lonely creature, Aeri makes friends with any person that she comes across.
But even so, she has few friends, the maid who serves her, Wendy, her brother, Bae Seojun and the hunters.
Her maid, was the mother figure for her and has been protective of her since the day she was born. However, they don't talk much since a maid shouldn't be really chatting with a princess. They do sometimes exchange words for a short while and Aeri trusts her maid enough to sometimes talk about her adventures in the forests.
Her brother, the second prince was the only blood-related sibling she has in the royal family. He is the only royal family member that supported her in no matter what she did. He felt bad for her to have two abilities, but she didn't know if he was jealous or genuinely sorry for her. But anyways, her brother is kind enough to spend time with her and stays by her side during big banquets, which she thanked him a lot.
The Wentigo hunters are a bunch of people that she hangs out with so she treats them as more than acquaintances. They meet up almost every night but they rarely have the chance to have a proper chat since they are always out to kill and planning the next hunt. The hunters were the first group of people that she met outside of the big mansion and she treasures them a lot . They enjoy the company and the thrill of hunting and that's what enough to make her stay with the group. She has learnt a lot of fighting skills from the group and the group treated as if she was one of them even though they know she is an elf princess. They have hunted together for almost a year now and she trusted the leader enough to tell her about her own insecurities. The leader's kind words was what encouraged her to join this battle.
Leader - Jennie: Human, with the 'brain technology". She is the best unnie Aeri has ever had. Jennie is the cool-headed leader that always come up with the plans. She is a detailed and careful person, always caring for the team and is always there whenever they needed her. Being a wentigo hunter is not a hobby for her, it's a tradition that's passed from her ancestors so she doesn't really have a say in her job. But she loves the thrill of the job, the thrill of planning and the success after each hunt made her accept her fate. She always think that every person has their own fate and if the wentigo is to die in her hands, it's its doomed fate, and therefore, she'd make it quick and painless for it. She especially cared for Bambam and Aeri not only because they are the maknaes, but also because she knows that they have gone through a lot. She is always patient towards them.
Jisoo: Human, a writer. She may look like a quiet girl and that her job hints that she isn't physically strong, she actually knows karate. She has joined the group because of Jennie. Jennie saved her once when she was brainstorming in the forest when an unexpected wentigo tried to attack her. From then on, she always waited for Jennie at the edge of the forest, begging her to accept her into the group. And after she got in, she always throw crazy ideas that annoys Jennie and Jennie has to dismiss them before those ideas got the whole group killed. Jisoo has fantastic ideas on how to trap wentigos and is always researching for new ways to kill them. O.o She prefer using guns because she felt safer to use guns and Aeri has taught her how to aim at targets and she always thought that Aeri was sooooo cool when she shoots. She was also working on a story about their gang.
Rosé: Goblin. She is a newbie among the knights of the palace. She hides her identity as a goblin. She is actually in the group because she is sent by the king to take note of the illegal activities happening around and when she stumbled upon this group of hunters, she was going to report them but then Ken stopped her. Ken told her to wait and observe before making rash decisions, and she was upset about this because she couldn't mess up her first mission and strongly believes that she would have merit if she reported them. During her stay with the group, she has found out that this group is pretty fun to be with. She prefers to trick the wentigos into the traps. She was rather quiet in this group and doesn't have a good relationship with the members except for Bambam because of his cuteness. She always unconsciously give in to him when he calls her 'flower noona'.
Lisa: Goblin, chemist. She is good with making bombs and poison. She is pretty famous for her work and the royalties tried hiring her but she didn't accept the offer because she doesn't want others to use her creation. Her creation is only for her own use. She often jokes around and mess around with Bambam, and sometimes leave a few smelly gas bombs for Bambam. When she saw that there was another goblin in their group, hiding her own identity, she kept the secret to herself but she tried confronting Rose. Rose didn't spill the reason so she was suspicious of her and would sometimes blame her if something goes wrong with the group. Lisa was pretty chill with Aeri, and when she found out about Aeri's weapon, she modified it and added bomb arrows and poisoned arrows.
Shin Wonho: Werewolf, heir to a trading business. Comes from a pretty wealthy family, and he is the last to join the gang. He is in a pack and he is often the member that disappears into thin air. He only come when he is free from pack business, which everyone understands after Wonho and Jaebum's lengthy explanations, so the group accepted his ghost-like existence. He has volunteered to join the group because he wants to act as a rebel. He doesn't like the trading business much and sometimes wishes to have some fresh air before returning to his pack, a pack that accepted him because he was rich and they use him as a bargain to claim larger lands. He was a fighter, along with Jaebum, and he likes Jaebum and treats him like his hyung.
Im Jaebum: Werewolf, second in command in the group, a rogue. The fact that he doesn't belong to a pack has caused a few changes in his personality, that he knows but he couldn't help it. Without a group, he's more prone to being emotional and he has anger issues. That was why when he saw that Aeri was being unreasonable angry, he thought that she too, had a problem like him. He joined this group because of his mate, Jennie. Jennie is oblivious to this fact, because Jaebum tried to hide it, but sometimes, Jaebum would show signs to her, hoping she would catch onto it. The groupmates all think that they are cute together and ship them~ Jaebum is a skilled fighter, and being a werewolf with heightened strength, he is one of the favourite useful members that Jennie likes. He is a practical person and unlike Bambam, he couldn't do aegyo. He views himself as a real man and acts as the fatherly figure for the members.
Mark (Tuan Yi En): a mix of elf and human, revolutionist, a gardener at the palace. He has slight pointed ears and the ability to heal which distinguished him from normal humans. His father was an elf and his mother was a human, so he got the powers from his father but he is a mortal because of his mom. He hid his ability from other humans so that he wouldn't be treated as a weirdo, and he hates wentigo. He joined the group beause of his hatred and he has always wanted to revolutionize the entire world. He wants to abolish the crown system and is busy with his revolutionary work. He is wary of Ken and Rose because he could feel that something was off with those two. Otherwise, he is good with the rest of the members, and he is always taking care of Aeri, because they are of the same race. He learnt how to use bows and arrows to fight, thanks to Aeri, but most of the time, he won't fight, and he would rather use his healing powers to heal the group.
Bambam (Kunpimook Bhuwakul): Wentigo, a student in school. His family has been ambushed by the wentigo hunters (NOT Jennie's family) when he was around five and was left alone in the woods in the human realm. At that time, Jennie was ten and they met in the woods, Jennie thought that he was a cute baby and didn't know he was a wentigo so she treated him like friends. After two years, she was sent to kill Bambam and it was then that both of them realized each others' identities. Jennie was sure that Bambam was innocent and she loved him as if he was her own dongsaeng so she took him under her wing and offered him to take refuge in one of the shelters that was her secret hangout place. Bambam admired Jennie a lot because she was the one who saved him, helped him through everthing. He was the loud chatterbox and the mood-maker in the group. He was pretty much at ease with everyone. He often pull pranks on Aeri and others, and if others seek revenge on him, he would compalin them to either Jennie or Jaebum. He also didn't think much about hunting his own race, in fact he was disgusted by his own race killing innocent people. For his perferred killing method, he ate his targets. It was his best strategy and his best skill. Nowadays, Jennie and Jaebum are trying to persuade him not to eat them and are scared that his habit of eating them would lead to bad consequences, he obeys them but sometimes would still steal a finger or two as his snack.
Ken (Lee Jaehwan): Human, experienced knight at the palace. He is a calm and collected person. He is best with setting traps and planning. Rose and his abilities complimented each other, but they were not in a good relationship. That was why their leader put them together on this mission, hoping that they would show team spirit. Ken has a certain sympanthy and care for humans, since it's his own race and in his years of being a knight, he felt that humans were weaker than most creatures. When he first met the group, he also wanted to turn them in, but when he saw the leader and her tough demeanor, he changed his mind and wanted to oberseve before turning his own race in. He has grown to like the group, and felt the special bond between the members.
ENEMIES —She doesn't hate a particular race because she is always alone and without interacting with many people, she doesn't have an opinion towards them. However, due to her second identity as a Wentigo hunter, she feels somehow annoyed by Wentigo, especially when they resist and just wouldn't die peacefully.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT EPHEMERUS' FOUR YEARS RULING SYSTEM?
The ruling system? It's none of our business. Elves do not question issues outside our own realm, and it doesn't affect us as long as the ruler does not attack us. But seriously, four years per round? That's like half a second, why would someone wants to rule a world for only half a second? It'd be way better to reign over the elves' realm, your reign can last for your whole life, basically, till forever.
WHAT WAS YOUR PAST LIKE?
She is a child that craved for love and acceptance since young. Being the maknae in the whole royal family and having two abilities which make people feel uneasy about her, she has been neglected and therefore, she is always isolated. She has never complained once until someone actually told her off in the face and that's when she realize that she has to prove to the people that she is worth it. She decides that instead of hiding away, she has to show everyone that she is not weak, and that she is fit for the title as a princess.
She is a special case since she is both a healer and a fighter. This is also what makes the king and queen unfavour her because the Elves believe that taking life interferes with the ability to preserve life. Those who hunted would not specialize in healing, and those who healed would refrain from hunting and only fight when absolutely necessary. Being able to do both… Is unheard of and the elves believed that this weaken their abilities.
She has faced depression before. When she was young, she grew afraid of her abilities. Not that she thought she was way more powerful but she thought the exact opposite. “What if I am much lessfa powerful than an average female elf?” The views of other elves and old wise elves crept into her mind and so she skipped most magic classes and combat classes. This made the royal family and all elves think that she is a really as weak as the rumours say. However, after she has joined the hunters, she felt more at ease with using both healing powers and the power to manipulate water when fighting, but is still always doubting herself.
She has knowledge of dark magic since a very young age and nobody knows about it. She was fascinated by it and how dark magic could allow her to use water to create another being, cause torture by heating up the blood in someone's body (I forgot which anime was it but the character was able to manipulate the water inside someone's body), and using it in so many different ways. The dark magic was influencing her bit by bit, and she knew it, the first time when she used dark magic on a Wentigo and felt good about it, and there's another time when she just left a wolf cub to die even though she has the power to heal.
She has been neglected for all her life by most of the elves but still she has some friends and acquaintances that support her. She held hope because of those few precious people. She couldn't imagine what would she do if she was left completely alone. She sometimes thought that she might go mad if she was really left alone.WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE BATTLE AND COMPETE FOR THE EPHEMERAL CROWN?
Four years are just a blink of an eye. If changing one's image only takes such a short period of time, I'd gladly seize the opportunity to show everyone that I'm an elf, a proud elf that is strong enough to lead the four realms. I have been hiding in the library for far too long that nobody seems to remember my existence anymore. I want to gain the aceptance from my family and other elves, and I have to win the epermeral crown to show that I am fit for the title 'princess'.
(the thing about her entering the battle is that it wasn't a plan. She decided at the last moment, just a day before the deadline, so she didn't plan about how to rule after she wins or anything about being the ruler. Maybe someone from the battle would attack her mentally by bashing her and saying that she wouldn't be able to rule well even if she wins? She didn't even consider the elves royal family feelings and the other elves' opinions. She solely entered in hopes of getting praised by others and to finally be recognized. )
WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTH AND WEAKNESSES?
She is obvious not a scheming person and she is rather a team player than the team leader. She can follow rules pretty well. She uses her power to manipulate water during battles, which is quite useful. If she doesn't want to use her power, she can always use her agility and her great aiming skills. She is actually extremely good at using bows and arrows and she can utilize everything takes the form of a bow and arrow.
She is a Wentigo hunter so she is much more familiar with the methods that can effectively kill Wentigo. She would go for the Wentigo before other races.
She would lose in a hand to hand combat as she doesn't have that much strength in her. She can only resort to fleeing from the scene.
She also lacks confidence, so if the opponent succeeds in scaring her or making her feel overwhelmed, she would become a mess and so nervous that she wouldn't be able to think through her actions.
When the dark magic takes over her when she is angry, she is really weak and her healing powers stops. So she'd easily die if she was attacked at that time.
She manipulates water, and uses dark magic to kill her opponents (as stated as above). And she knows how to use bows and arrows. She also has the power of healing, when she wants to hide the trace of killing, she may also fuse dark magic with the power of healing, so that the opponent thought she was healing, but actually she was poisoning him or her, and the opponent wouldn't know the reason behind his or her own death.

SUMMARY —
He is a determined and careful person, he makes sure nothing is wrong with his plan and he will make his plan work no matter what. He has the strength of an average human male, physically weaker than other races so he goes for setting traps and luring others with his sweet words rather than doing the practical work himself. His words work like magic and his sweet tongue has never called him.
He knows how to play the piano and sometimes play at the tavern or somewhere in town when he feels like it.
He was forced to join this battle because there are officials who doesn't like him. The officials persuaded the king that the crown prince has to show his ability and skills before becoming the king. It's the official's cunning way of killing him but the king falls for it and he has no other choice and to accept the challenge.
FIRST MEETING —
The first time they met was during a banquet where all royal families from all races attended. Aeri was accompanied with her brother then, and Yoongi spotted an unfamiliar gorgeous and elegant elf beside the second prince but then he shrugged it off. While Aeri was amazed by him when he gave a short speech at the banquet.
The first time they really interacted though, was when the king of the human realm wanted Yoongi to pay a visit to the Elf realm, just a regular visit to maintain the relationship between the two realms. Yoongi was offered to stay in the elf realm for two days and one night. During the night, Aeri was gazing at the stars in the garden, sitting dangerously on a tree branch high up in the air when Yoongi randomly passed by the garden and saw the beautiful elf that he has met before in the banquet, and he thought she was about to do something stupid. While Yoongi was still thinking of methods to get her down but not making a scene and not attracting any attention to him, Aeri already noticed him and jumped from the branch and landed on the ground gracefully. Yoongi was surprised but kept a straight face on and Aeri was so happy that there was a handsome intruder into her garden and she started off a conversation with the crown prince from the huamn realm, surprised that he actually replied her with yes or no instead of completely shutting her out. They didn't have the chance to meet each other after that night until the battle.
During their first meeting, they chatted briefly about their lives. Yoongi was cautious not to give out too much information about himself and he doesn't trust the innocent-looking elf entirely. While Aeri feels tiny in his presence and always twirled with her hair, showing that she was nervous. She too, didn't talk too much about herself, trying to keep her happy self on display. So Yoongi thought that she was a happy-go-lucky ordinary girl who has a crush on him. Yes, he has seen far too many girls to know that this little elf has a crush on him but Aeri naively thought that she hid her blush well.
RELATIONSHIP — They aren't a couple but they both feel something between in them. Their relationship doesn't bloom until they met in the battleground, fighting together as allies.
Yoongi is attracted by her beauty and her mysteriousness. He felt the need to unravel the secrets of the girl and with his own ways, he soon found out her weaknesses and funny enough, he didn't eliminate her but helped her through, he didn't spill out her identity as a princess either. Perhaps it's because he knows she is the only one who trusted him wholeheartedly and wouldn't leave his side no matter what.
While Aeri was completely smitten by Yoongi. Even though Yoongi often acted as if he was annoyed by her, she wouldn't acknoledge his frowns and continue to pester him. She likes him from his looks to the way he speaks. She dislikes his lost gazes but at the same time, she likes it because she could stare at him longer before he realizes. She knows he is completely out of her league, and her being a coward made her felt self-conscious. She is always conflicted between leaving him and staying with him, but because her heart keeps on urging her to stay with him, she stayed.

The appearance of the elf is based off of those in the Lord of the Rings, because those elves are just gorgeoussss~ especially Thranduil and his antlers <333 So damn hot~ <3333
