Very loving and caring towards her children. She calls them everyday and often goes to the studio to bring them homemade meals.Mina can always count with her mother to give her advice about life when she doesn´t know what to do. Mina gets her nagging and bossyness from her mother.She´s an exceptional lady and Mina´s role model.

When they were kids,despite having a 3 year gasp between them,they were always together.Their parents were afraid that Xiumin would forget Mina as he grew older and started having his own friends,but that never happened. Xiumin always made sure to include her in his activities.

Mina is the type of sis with the ¨You can´t bully my brother,Only I can bully my brother¨ type of mentality. She always calls him when he´s away doing tours to talk and check on him. He´s also very protective of his little sis and he shares her love for coffee and food. They both make the same ¨FIGHT ME!¨ expression .

Life Background: Born and raised in South Korea,Mina is the youngest of two siblings,her parents say that she was born smiling and hasn´t stop since. She grew up in a very loving family. At the age of 15 she was interested in music and art. Her older brother was too and they´re parents both enrolled them in singing lessons.

How you became a trainee: She was scouted by an SM Manager with her brother during a singing contest that they were participating. Soon they became trainees. Mina worked hard and practiced as much as she could.Her brother debuted in 2012 while she was still training and she felt incredibly happy for him and always supported him,never missing a performance,he was living his dream too. Mina is one of the oldest trainees ,with a total of 5 years,but she never lost faith and did her best everyday.

How you met?: They met during one of Xiumin Chinese lessons,Lay was there along with the rest of EXO M and Mina came during the break to deliver food to her brother.She and Xiumin were trying to hold a conversation in Chinese.Lay saw that Mina was getting frustrated with a word and he gently corrected her,which she bowed and thank him.The next lesson,when Mina arrived with lunch,she also invited Lay to eat with them,since then they´ve been great friends. Thanks to him,Mina´s Chinese has improved a lot ,whenever they hang out,they speak Chinese. He usually performs the new dance choreographies that he has in mind and asks for he opinion,or they go eat somewhere and talk about their daily life. Sometimes Lay does sweet gesture like give her piggy back rides when she´s tired after practice,or he carries her bag for her,which has Mina flustered and blushing like a tomatoe.

Your lovers personality?: Lay is the most sweet,respectful and thoughtful person she has ever met.He is always worrying for others and caring for them.He´s the kind of give that goes the extra mile for others and always tries to make others comfortable asking how they feel. How did you guys meet? : During singing lessons when they were trainees,Mina complimented him for his great singing and he then he also complimented her,which resulted in a compliment match taht ended with both of them laughing at their sillyness. Kyungsoo also shares her love for anime and often watch it together. Mina and D.O enjoy teasing EXO members and being savage together.(Mina cracks up whenever EXO get scared by Soo´s glare,to which she is inmune by now and she could probably recreat it too) Kyungsoo also cooks for Mina,because he knows she loves food. He´s also aware of Mina´s feeling towards Lay(the only ones that know this are the After Schock girls and Xiumin) and he tries to make Mina confess whenever he has the opportunity. One time Mina docked Kyungsoo because he was about to spill her secret to Lay himself.
