Amaterasu, despite her  intimidating  name,  is  one  of the  most kindhearted and sweet girls  you will ever meet. She finds  happiness  and peace in helping others and in other's happiness. She values with a humble heart, the things  she has, specially her family and  friends' bonds. Those  are the most important aspects  in her life. She 's  soft spoken and doesn't like to raise her voice(at least ,most of the time).Whenever you need help you can count with  Amaterasu. She  is a shoulder you can cry  into,someone that  will dry  your  tears  and try  to make you smile.  She tries  to see the  bright  side of each situation, mind  you  ,she  is not 24/7 smiles  and giggles,  Amaterasu has  her gloomy days too(She gets really grumpy).  She is  a total  sweetheart , with a  sould made of flames  and steel . Ameterasu  may  seem  like a fragile  porcelain doll  and her heart may be fragile too,but  there is a fire in  her soul  that keeps  her going. ,that makes her capable of fending for herself.. She fights  for what she believes  and she protects others  with all her might.
 
Amaterasu 's shyness   always  kicks   in ,but  she  is shy  mostly  around strangers .Among her group,she  tries  to  be more  outgoing  ,but  more often than not,  she  is prefectly content  with  letting others (*cough cough  The Vivacious Ember* cough cough )  talk and practically carry the whole conversation themselves while she  listens.  Amaterasu doesn't mind being shy,infact,  sometimes  is good when  you  are ignored,she  can get a hold of many secrets by standing there and  no one notices her. Of course this also bothers her sometimes,but she  has learned to live with it.,and besides,she makes the most of the information  she acquires.  She is a very  ingenious  girl,she is  quick with words  as she is with  a sword,and her tonghue can just as sharp. Landing on her negative traits.. Her shyness  comes  into  the picture again.  Because  she is   so shy, Amaterasu  stays quiet  when  she  should  speak . People take  advantage  of this  and  of her good  heart.  It's not that  Amaterasu is  inmature,because  she's not,but  she can be  naive  and  innocent  for  certain topics  ,like  dating   and dirty jokes..   Those  absolutely fly over her head and  most  of the  time she  doesn't get them.  Another  negative trait  is  Amaterasu's clingyness  .  She  gets  attached to  things or  people easily  and when  it's  time to let go. It  hurts  so  bad.  Like a hole  in  her heart,which   is  very fragile.

-Amaterasu's companion or familiar(in terms  of creatures or mosnters,he is like her "helper " or   "guardian")  is  "No Face" or "Kaonashi" or  as  Amy  calls  him "Kao".  He is  a  spirit/monster that  mirrors  others emotions  when he eats  them (don't worry,he spits thme out,well,most of them anyways) . He  likes to show up uninveted.  Amaterasu doesn't even have to summon him ,he just shows up  whenever he likes.  He is pretty harmless,unless  Amaterasu  orders him to attack or if  he is really hungry,that's why  Amaterasu  carries  snacks with her all the time.He also loves gold ,so beware if you have anything that  looks like it. Can  also turn  into  a  boy  if he wishes  too or if Amaterasu orders him. (The Warrior gets  jealouse of Kao whenever he is   in   his human form because he always acts cheeky and sneaky with Amaterasu).

Family Background/History: Her family dates from generations back in Japan. The Hamada clan is a merchant clan ,but that is only a cover for the real story. Amaterasu belongs to a secret assassin clan. Her entire family(from her father's side at least) is trained in every martial art possible.Since she was a baby ,the basics of her family were engraved in her :  "With Stealth and Caution,Be One With the Shadows". 
Her family originally comes from Japan as stated before.Now they're residing in Korea because Amaterasu's father fell in love with her mother during one merchant trip to Korea,after her mother became pregnant with her,her father as Clan leader took the decision to move to Korea for safety and they've been there during 20 years. Saying that her family is made of Assassins ,makes it seem as if her family was full of cruel and heartless killers ,which is wrong,it is just a prejudice. Her family is the most united and loving people you could find. They only kill when it's necesary. 
In her family,there is a propehecy that has been present since generations back. The prophecy spoke about  a "Whisperer" ,one so powerful that would call those hidden in the shadows to their aid. Turns out,Amaterasu was the one. Hence her name. When she was only a 3 year old baby,an enemy clan attacked her family.During the attack they were coming for her, and it seems that  Amaterasu's  fear called someone or rather something that protuded from the gound,like lava. I guess you know who it was (Kao). He protected her and her family. The elders declared that she was the "Whisperer" after that incident,her father named her "Amaterasu" (in her family,the parents wait until the children are old enough with their own personality to name the child according to how she or he is). 
Amaterasu became something precious and valuable for the family.

Love Interest's Plotline:  The Warrior
Once upon a love story:  When  Amaterasu was  little,  her father enrolled her in Martial Arts  Contests  (he still does though)  . There Amaterasu demostrated her  abilites  and practiced with others  around her age.  On one particular contest.  The  Warrior  won the  junior   male category  and  Amaterasu won her's . Out of respect, Amaterasu went to him to congratulate him ,both were equally flustered. The next contest,he was there. She approached him and  since that moment they became great friends.  Until now,Amaterasu  still holds her crush  for him  and she gets easily flustered becasue of him. He always tries to  protect her,even though he know s  she can kick perfectly(his own has  been kicked many times before).I picture their relationship like this.

Plotline: The Hidden Summoner
Ability: Amaterasu knows several  Martial  Arts ,she is very  agile and  stealth  is her speciality,she's like a shadow.  You need to be in constant vigilance  because she will strike at any moment. Her real  ability,resides in her power  to summon monsters/spirits/creatures  by her own will.  Through the course of the years,Amaterasu  has learned to control it (most of the time she's  in control,as a child she use to have random outbursts).Depending on how much  stamina she has,the faster she will summon monsters   and  in a greater quantity.If  she's spent up, it will be  harder for her to summon creatures.  Even if she helds a great power,it  represents a  big  weakness,because the moment she is summoning  is when she's the most exposed,because she needs to be full focused on her summon and in her hand movements(picture it  as Naruto's jutsus'hand's movements or maybe as Card  Capture Sakura and the  Clow cards summonings,which ever you prefer).  If she's not fast enough,she can be seriously injured,another weakness is her back,specialy the lower spine,that is one of her weakest points.. Her most  fatal techniques  require a lot of strenght in her hands,specifically in her palms because she strikes pressure points and internal organs. She's also powerful with her kicks. Her short stature provides her a better center of gravity because  she's closer to the floor.She loves using her spear (I totally picture Amaterasu as Mina,she's girly and small,easy to underestimate until she trikes and shows you  how powerful she is) because she prefers long range fighting than close contact,that way if she's far from her oponent,she can summon faster.
How & when did you discovered them: Her powers revealed after an enemy clan attack her family.  Her fear summoned  a "No Face" to protect her.  According to her clan elders ,her powers comes from the Japanese Kamis  Izanagi and Izanami from the Shinto myths. She was born with it.  (hehe,I just imagines Amaterasu in a gown dress all proper and sheet  like this,but then she has to fight.)
