"I um Dohee-san do you... nevermind I'm sorry."
Umi really admires Dohee for a lot of things her confidence, patience, and how she's not afraid to speak her mind. However she just can't bring herself to muster the courage and talk to her without someone else being there with her, because she'll get to flustered otherwise, worried that she'll say something or she's bothering the older girl. She often wants to ask Dohee about singing, since she thinks that she has a great voice, while her own is so inconsistant despite being a main vocal and about how to gain more confidence but just can't bring herself to do it.

 

Kang Dalyul ; Dalyul ; 12.27.1994 ; Taeil ; 
"I'm sorry if I've bothered you..."
Umi is rather awkward around Dalyul a little intimitated by her sarcasm never sure whether or not she was joking or being serious. She tries not to bother her too much scared that she will get lectured by something that she did. Umi is grateful that Dalyul will try to help her when she's having a really hard time and usually thanks her silently with little goodie bags she'll put on her bed. 

 

Yoo Jaemi ; Jaemi ; 05.16.1996 ; Jaemin ; 
"Jaemi-san should smile more. You're even prettier when you smile."
Umi at first was a little intimitated by Jaemi, because honestly everyone intimitates her when she first meets them, but when she first saw Jaemi smile she thought she was just the prettiest person ever and that she had to be nice becaues no one could be that pretty and kind looking without being kind hearted as well. She feels bad that Jaemi doesn't get along with a few of the members, since she wants everyone to get along and is usually pointing out all of her good points when someone complains about her being bossy. 

 

Dam YeoWool ; YeoWool ; 10.27.1996 ; Jaehyun ; 
*laughs quietly at Yeowool's joke*
Umi really likes Yeowool even if most of the time it doesn't look it because she's super quiet. Even though she doesn't really laugh out loud she still finds her jokes really funny and applauds them in the background, very supportive of her. Sometimes she tries to tell Yeowool how much she likes them but always chickens out in a flurry of apologies. 

 

Park Seoyeon ; Seoyeon ; 05.29.1998 ; Jisung ; 
"Seoyeon-san.... I really don't think that's a good idea..."
Umi can't handle Seoyeon's endless energy and super hyper personality, and usually tries to stay out of the way so she doesn't become collateral damage when the Seoyeon hurricane comes through the dorm. She does admire how bright and happy the other girl always is since she wishes that she could just be a little bit more like that. 

 

Zheng Mei Li ; Mei Li ; 05.30.1998 ; Winwin ; 
"Yes, I think unicorns are amazing too.."
Umi thinks that Mei Li is very interesting and thinks that her way of thinking is unique and likes trying to figure out what she means when she says something a certian way. It's usual to think that these two would get along since Mei Li is very much like Seoyeon, and Seoyeon is forever salty about this, but its only because Mei Li know when to back off when Umi is feeling uncomfortable and Umi loves being of use and if that means listening to her unnies troubles than she'll do it happily.

 

Kim Nari ; Nari ; 07/01.1998; Yuta
"Oh um thank you Nari-san."
Umi really enjoys Nari's company and appreaciates that she's always on her side no matter what. So if Nari wants to learn Japanese than Umi is more than happy to oblige because honestly it's the least she could do for her. 

 

Chae PaeSeon ; PaeSeon ; 07.15.1998 ; Renjun ; 
"Do you think I could watch that with you? Maybe.... It's okay if not I'm sorry."
Umi likes how bright and positive that Paeseon is and is attracted to it, so she tries to get closer to the girl by trying to talk about things that she likes. It does help that Umi is also a er for romantic stories and get a little more talkative when she gets into daydreaming about it. 

 

Lee Sumin ; Rosie ; 02.06.1999 ; Mark
"Oh um Rosie-san hello."
Umi isn't close to Rosie but she wants to, its just she isnt too sure how to go about doing it. She admires Rosie for a similar reason as she admires Seoyeon because she's not scared to be her happy and meme like self and Umi wishes she could be more like that. 

 

Lee Minyoung ; Minyoung ; 07.11.2000 ; Taeyong ; 
*smiles* "Hey Minyoung-san thanks for saving me from Jaemin-san again."
Umi is closest to Minyoung in FoF and is forever grateful to her for helping her make a few more friends and always has her back no matter what. She's often hiding behind her when something frightens her, which is often, but is also there to make sure the girl doesn't say anything too bad that will get herself in trouble with their unnies. They're a great combo and have their exclusive 160cm and under club because they're surrounded by crazy amazons and it's not fair in the slightest. 

 

Kang YooBean ; Beanie ; 12.25.2000 ; Johnny ; 
"I'm glad I got to meet you..."
Umi isn't super close to Yoobean however the two of them being the exact same height makes Umi feel a lot better that someon understands the struggles of being just so tiny. She likes how the other girl walks to the beat of her own drum, and although they may not be the closest of friends Umi forever accepts her as a honorary member of her and Minyoung's 160cm and under club.

"What's your favorite genre to read? I um I really like mysteries."
Umi is probably second closest to Jade, after Minyoung of course, and really feels comfortable being around her since they have very similar personalities. Since she's quiet for the most part Umi can sit next to her and not feel uncomfortable or like she's a bother. They both like reading but it is an adjustment to all the skinship since Umi hasn't really been around people who enjoy it but she's gotten a little more used to the clinging. 

 

Lee Yohee ; Yoey ; 12.30.2002 ; Ten ; 
"Oh uh do you want to watch this mystery movie with me?"
A lot of the time Umi can't get the younger girl to slow down to make sure she's taking care of herself and eating properly. However she's learned that Yohee is really into mysterys and thrillers, and though Umi doesn't care for thrillers she does love a good mystery and has bonded with Yohee over them, so every once in a while they'll sit together and watch a good one or talk about their favorite books and then watches as the hyper active girl goes back to running around and dancing.

 

Lee Taeyeon ; Sebin ; 12.31.2002 ; Haechan ;

Umi actually likes Hyebin. First of she's cute as can be, and second she really wishes that she had just an ounce of the confidence that Hyebin does. Umi isn't usually the one talking in the relationship and mostly listens to the maknae speak about whatever she wants and will smile and nod just letting her get it all out since she doesn't mind it in the slightest.
