BOYS24 - Hwayoung

So guys, I just read an article that said that Boys24 member, Hwayoung's contract has been terminated.

Now, I know he said some pretty rude stuff.

But is everyone forgetting that he said it to someone in private? HE WAS VENTING! He is young. He was under stress. He was most probably frustrated.

Seriously, have you all never vented? Never ranted? Never complained to your friends?

Whoever leaked that conversation is a rude and all the people celebrating the fact that his contract has been terminated are absolute jerks!

Imagine the young lad, scarred for life, and confidence probably reduced to ashes, dreams he had probably crumbling because of immature lil s.

Why do people forget that idols are also humans? They aren't your friggin toys for you to play with them all the ing time. They don't HAVE to maintain an "image" all the friggin time for their "fans".

Honestly, just let them live.

I hope Hwayoung gets to sign a contract with a better agency, one that doesn't abandon him for merely voicing out his feelings for once.

I don't even follow BOYS24 and I don't even know Hwayoung. But people are just being downright mean and he doesn't deserve that.

it is harsh. but at the end of the day, no matter how much he dislikes his fans, they're what keep him and his team afloat. maybe he didn't mean what he said, maybe he regretted saying what he did, but he shouldn't have bitten the hand that fed him. he should've known that.

I heard he's one of the popular member who is talented and have a good voice. Is someone unhappy or jealous that they decide to do this to him? I believe they're having a private conversation so why is someone recording the conversation in the first place?

The person who uploaded it supposedly admittedly that they edited the audio and made it so Hwayoung was badmouthing his fans. A cover-up? Who knows, but it's strange to me his company immediately cuts him off when other idols have done worse than him, but whatever.
Honestly, he's not the first or last idol who will be complaining. We don't know what happens behind the curtains or how idols really feel about something. All they do is go to the camera, look pretty, and do their thing as they are told and move onto other projects, but in terms of how they REALLY feel we don't know and that goes with what you said. Idols are humans too. They're imperfect and have flaws. Yes, come at me. Hahaha but in seriousness, I can't be on either side entirely because we will never have clear answers. My guess is that maybe Hwayoung cracked under pressure? We say things we don't mean in a fit of anger. Who knows if he was talking about ALL his fans as well. But what it's been done it's done. I feel sorry for those all affected but especially Hwayoung because despite of what he did, young and full of energy he might not get a chance to be another idol thanks to his broken reputation.

i read somewhere that the person who posted it claimed it was fake
i don't know how true that is, but if that is the case, the company should do something about it
if it isn't, then i think the course of action is justified and understandable
there is no way to justify what he said; even if you are frustrated
these people give you all their love and support despite the boys not having debuted
and you say these kind of ungrateful crap, if i was their fan, i wouldn't stand for it
boys24 isn't very popular and the fact that they have people who love them so much
they should be very grateful for it; instead, he goes about spitting crap about these fans?
if it really is true, he should just stick to being a regular citizen

i get how a person can get overly stressed and just rant/vent it out but then again look at this view: say you're stressed out cause your mom kept on pressuring you to do something, you're not gonna say mean things about your mom, right? i mean, it's completely horrible like she has raised you and carried you for 9 months in her belly only for you to call her mean names?

now lets look at it at hwayoung's point of view: yes, he's stressed as an idol because he's been training for years and has to compete with a lot of other guys for stardom but that doesn't mean he has to talk bad about his fans? i mean, fans are usually the reason why you're in the spotlight! they support you and cherish you.

and finally, let's look at the fans' point of view: they love you so so so much and is willing to do anything for you. the fans are willing to stay out under the cold or hot weather just to see you for a few minutes. even in those few minutes, they'd still cherish that moment. why? cause they saw you. and especially during hi-touch events. they'd think to themselves: "ahhh. i met my idol and even got to high five with him" and they'd think those were one of the best moments of their lives but only to realise... the idol that they love and cherish said that he doesn't like hi-touch events cause his "fans' breath smells." it's saddening for the fan. all those moments they thought of those moments as happy memories only to end up knowing that for their idol, it's a bad bad memory because of bad breath.

i'm not hating on hwayoung though. i get he was stressed. i just kinda pity the fans that actually loved him :/ too bad this news appeared and he hasn't even debuted. i wish him all the best for his future though!

Yeah (I didn't know who they where till I heard about what he said) I fell bad that his career is over (or might) and plus I'm sure a few (at least)idols feel the same way! It's just that he got caught sadly:(

I partially agree that the person who leaked it out is bad. but I also agree with the other comment below. Who can become an idol without any fans?
