So it has ultimately come to this...

Hey guys,

I've not been very active lately, neither with reading nor writing. I think it's kinda time for me to go off radar from AFF.

I graduated Med school and now I'm an intern. And I'd thought that during this time I'd have time for my stories but it has only got more hectic and I literally have no time for anything. Because you see, now I'm working and man working ain't easy!

So, I was considering deactivating my account. Or maybe not cuz I might come back to read occasionally. But I'll not be writing for a very very very long time and I guess this is kinda goodbye.

Y'all have been amazing friends! Lots of love!  💖💗💕💞

Wow :) I enjoyed reading your story so far, and good luck! Med school is tough but you graduated and that's amazing. I hope life treats you we'll and that maybe sometime in the future you can continue your writing hobby even if it isn't on here.

Congratulations on graduating! Med school is one tough journey and it only gets tougher along the way. Best of luck and presence of mind is always the best weapon. :)

Just to share, we have this Junior Resident who would always say 'what a good day to save lives!' enthusiastically whenever he walks into our unit, and we already know he was just being sarcastic because everytime he comes in that way, there's a toxic patient being wheeled in behind him. That's basically our cue to die. Hell yeah, we could be dying but all the hard work's worth it whenever we see a patient wake up to full recovery. They even come back to our unit just to thank us for saving his life.

There will be days when you will want to cry and just wish for a break. More accurately put, you will wish that you're the patient instead of the doctor. But hey, it's okay to cry. Remember you are not alone and will never be. At the end of the day, the healthcare team is totally #squadgoals even if it was actually #suicidesquad the whole shift and more shifts to come. Lately, I realized that I had a childhood dream of becoming a superhero. Indeed, God has granted me my wish for hospital life is where we feel and become actual heroes.
