april martin is an energetic despite her age. she is constantly moving around and doing something to the point where her members have to tell her to settle down for a few minutes. a lot of people think that she may have a.d.d. but april has constantly refuted those rumors with saying that she's just got a lot of energy in her body. april is also very expressive with her body. she's physical in everything. if she's talking, she's doing so with her hands or whole body. when being loving towards a boyfriend, she's one to be pushing for the cuddling and pda. lastly, april is caring. she may be a goofball most of the time but she has a caring side. this is most notable with harmonia. she shows her love and affection for them all the time. when someone speaks ill of her members, she comes to their defense. when one of the members is sick or not feeling it, april will find a way to make them feel better. a lot of the members say that she is practically the mother to all of them even if people don't believe it.

april has her good points and she has her bad points. being talkative is one of them. sometimes april will say something she isn't supposed to or make a fool of herself by not shutting . it has gotten her in trouble with a lot of people in her life but she sometimes she can't control what rolls off her tongue. next, april is oblivious. she sometimes may not realize what's going on in the background until she's told. if you're not someone she's spent a whole lot of time with, she's going to be oblivious to your feelings at times. april focuses on matters that are important to her and so if you're not on that list, she doesn't know what's going on. her final negative side is that april is pretty closed off. she's a hard shell to crack open surprisingly. april may be a goofball and energetic as can be but that's just an exterior. she's been through some things and her silliness is a way to hide all of that away. she's pretty vague when it comes to her personal life and so when you come to think about it, not a lot of people know who april truly is if you haven't been around her for so many years.

born in london to a french mother and english father, april martin grew up a happy child until the age of twelve. after 15 years of marriage, her parents decided to call it quits. the two agreed that april would be better off living with her father as her mother wasn't the best at parenting. her father packed them up and moved to manhattan, new york. her father worked as a doctor at a local clinic. april found herself turning to music for an escape from her crappy reality. april went through life being that funny girl that people thought was always happy when in reality, april struggled coping with coming from a broken home. 

a friend who was close to april recommended she meet another friend of hers. this other friend turned out to be alessia. although younger, the two got along great - especially when it came to music. the two soon found themselves forming a group where they would perform for the first time on america's got talent and getting signed to a record label. not soon after did she realize that she found herself another family; harmonia. from there, the girls shot to stardom to the point where a korean label wanted to sign them.

jiyong is basically april's mentor. she is his counterpart when it comes to her rapping position in harmonia. she isn't amazingly close with him as she can tell he has an interest in alessia but respects him nonetheless. with more practice, jiyong and april grow closer and he becomes an older brother figure to him. when it comes to his apparent interest in alessia, april helps him in figuring out his feelings for her. although he may be her senior, she cares deeply about alessia as she doesn't want to see her leader hurt. 

✩ LABELMATE • lee seunghoon (25) / winner member / funny, sweet / partner in crime
seunghoon is a funny guy. april befriends the winner member not long after meeting him and they become joined at the hip. seunghoon and april pull little pranks together throughout the yg building and so he's her partner in crime. april always tries new pranks on him and they go on an all out war trying to out-prank each other. during interviews, april always mentions her pranking ways with seunghoon. 

✩ LABELMATE • park sandara (29) / 2ne1 member / quirky, energetic / mother
sandara is the mother figure to april (and basically harmonia). she finds sandara to be the purest form of beauty and adores her eonni to bits and pieces. she sees sandara often in the building and when 2ne1 begins to disband, april becomes sandara's distraction to keep her in a good mood. sandara and april become even closer from this and april always finds time for sandara when she asks for it.

although april may be oldest member (or one of the oldest) in harmonia, she keeps up with the younger ones. she loves all the members to death and expresses how grateful she is to have them in her life. when speaking about alessia, april finds her to be an adorable ball of sunshine that should be protected. although she is the designated leader for harmonia, april still has a bit of a protective nature with her. once she sees that alessia is getting criticized, april always comes to her defense. alessia does the same for her and alessia always speaks fondly of april's energetic nature.

LAST COMMENT: i hope you like april. i picked tabi to be her love interest because of the whole military enlistment. if chosen, i would like to mainly see her grow as a person and performer while he's away. i know for tabi's personality it's like all over the place but it's late so i just apologize and i'll re-do it if you want me to. good luck with the story and i can't wait for it to start!

SCENE REQUEST: 

✩ bigbang and harmonia bonding over drinks and possibly getting drunk. this leads to the boys getting ideas as to getting to know them. seunghyun and april are already in a very comfortable position on a couch, cuddling and giggling away at each other. they play some music and everyone is just having a grand ol' time singing horribly and mispronouncing things.

✩ seunghyun going out of his way to help april with her rapping as jiyong may be too busy with alessia. seunghyun teaches her different techniques to help with her rapping. her rewards are good jokes and kisses each time she raps correctly. 

✩ during their first month of debut, harmonia performing 'work from home' and having the bigbang members come out and use them as their men from the music video. seunghyun and april are obviously paired for their height. seunghyun and april show an obvious chemistry but after the performance, seunghyun admits that he's never been more tempted to lose control on stage with a female. this also starts fans shipping them together. 

✩ spending a night together at his place, seunghyun sings his first part of "let's not fall in love" which explicitly states that they should stay friends but contradicts it by leaning in and kissing april. april responds with "guess we're really bad at being friends." 

✩ april attempting to rap one of seunghyun's parts when she goes on weekly idol and epically fails but everyone gets a kick out of it nonetheless. this is after her relationship with his is made public and so she proceeds to say to the camera "tabi, i'm sorry if you see this."
