Seoyeon is an adventurous soul. No joke she's up for literally anything, bungee jumping? She'll race you up the stairs. Eating weird food? She'll be the first to try it without hesitiation. If one thing is certian it's never boring when Park Seoyeon is around. . She's emmensely dedicated and once she sets her mind on something nothing will get her to change. She practices almost 24/7 to make sure that in no way will she bring down the other girls and is determined to make her idol dream a sucess. She's constantly working on improving herself not ashamed of asking others, even those younger than her, for tips if she feels the need for it. Seoyeon screams energy, no seriously the girl wakes up ready to face the day. She can irritate others who aren't morning people like herself, coughcoughyeowoolunniecoughcough, and can get into some trouble by being so loud first thing in the morning going off about doing yoga with the rise of the sun. However its that bright nature that also helps lighten the mood of everyone around her, so it works out in the end. 

"What's wrong? Did someone hurt you? Should I go and beat them up? I can do it.... why are you laughing at me?"
This girl is genuine almost to a fault. The girl couldn't lie even if she tried because her face would give it away completely. so she's stopped herself from ever trying. She's always sincere in what she does or who she talks to and is true to herself 100 percent of the time and others can deal with that how they please. She's also loyal to everyone she calls her friend, and who's she's close to. No matter if the person is right or wrong she will be on their side and defend them to the ends of the Earth. Why does she do this? Well to Seoyeon it's not a matter of hoping that others will do the same but that she treasures the trust that someone puts in her and she will protect that trust no matter what happens. She's quite the casual girl and doesn't let much get to her. Of course because she doesn't really react to the comments people can never tell if she's actually listening to them and has gotten scolded for it from instructors on more than one occassion. Now even though she's always running around and getting herself into stuff she's actually very easy to predict. If there's something daring everyone knows she's going to run in line for it. The sun just rose so that means Seoyeon's about to wake everyone up in the dorms because it's in her nature. 

"I know you think that's the best thing to do right now but wouldnn't you agree this is better?"
Despite being told time and time again Seoyeon is outspoken and tends to stick her sense in at the worst possible times. This has also gotten her into some trouble with the instructors since she just can't seem to help herself from opening and saying her opinion, and though she has tried to correct this particular trait nothing seems to work as she'll do it to the older bandmates as well from time to time. Along with being outspoken Seoyeon has a lot of questions and has absolutely no problem asking them right out of the blue. "Why do they have a move like that? There's better ones out there." She'll say while watching a performance usually having covered by one of the other members in horror as if their sunbaes could hear them. The reaction would only cause more questions to come out. "What? I'm right aren't I? I don't understand why you're acting like this unnie".  She is however stupidly childish and has no problem pouting in the corner or throwing a mini fit if she's not given the answer she wanted. She's not at all mature, and has no problem letting out her inner pettiness when the time calls for it. 

"Huh? No I didn't leave my workout clothes in the corner. Are you sure they're mine? Oh yeah those are mine sorry!"
If it wasn't obvious this girl is about as foolish as they come. She can never tell if someone is full of it or is sincere and ends up looking like an idiot for falling for something so obvious all because she was too happy to notice. Seoyeon has a hard time taking anything but dance practice seriously and tends to need a little slap upside the head to be brought back to reality, and will just smile and bow her head in apology only to do the same thing two days later. She has the patience of a flea and cannot sit still for longer than a half an hour before she starts to squirm and fidget in her seat. The same is said about surprises, if there is one don't tell her because one she cannot keep a secret to save her life but she'll also go and bother the person until they finally give in and tell her what's going on. If asked to describe Seoyeon in one word those closest to her would probably say obnoxious. This girl has one level, loud. Everything she says or does is over the top and when told to tone it down a few notches she won't and just continues doing things her way. It's unsettling and tends to push people away from her because she can't really control herself, and though it upsets her when they choose to not be close she can't stop them. She's also super sloppy and will just throw her stuff all over the dorm, and then forget where she put it. It's more of a problem for the person who she shares a room with than anything since she cannot control the mess that she is. 
 

background

Park Seoyeon was born early in the morning on May 29, 1998 in Gumi South Korea. Ever since she was young she knew that the only way to get what you wanted you had to work hard for it. Her parents own a restuarant, and worked hard to give it the great reputation in their city. Seoyeon had always been a girl with high energy and never stopped running around so her mother thought that it would be a good idea to have her start dance classes at the young age of five to try and use up all of that energy so she didn't end up running everyone up the wall. Seoyeon took to it immediately and loved every minute of it. She would wake up ready to go, only to pout and whine about having to go to school not wanting to go but would eventually give in because her parents threatened to take her dance lessons away. 

She did just about anything, but she was always best at tap and hiphop. She didn't just want to foucs on one but a variety since it's more fun that way. She moved to Seoul to live with her aunt to go to Seoul Performing Arts High School. It was a lot to get her parents to let her leave the quiet city they lived in but gave in because it's basically impossible to tell their baby no, especially when she begged and pleaded promising this and that to let her go. It was with several conditions however. She had to do well in her regular classes, and had to listen to and tell her aunt where she was going no exception. It was there that she met and became close to Choi Yewon or Arin from Oh My Girl. Seoyeon didn't really bother with the whole one year age difference treating her as she is her best friend. Arin wasn't much of a dancer but always got roped into practicing with Seoyeon but they worked well to motivate each other. 

The reason she wanted to go to Seoul Performing Arts was because she was obsessed with idols and how awesome they were and was touched by the dedication they had. Seoyeon wanted to show that she could be just like them and prove to herself that she had what it takes to survive in the industry. She wasn't all that great at singing or rapping, but it was obvious that her dancing was above and beyond so she used that to her advantage. She auditioned for SM two times before hand and was shot down because her singing still wasn't good enough, but instead of being discouraged it pushed her more and did her best to try and improve. It took her a long time to figure out what she was doing wrong and went about fixing it. She still wasn't the best vocalist out there but it was obviously an improvement along with her working on some rapping (because they're all so freaking cool) the third time proved to be the charm as she passed and became a trainee at one of the biggest entertainment companies, and she was beyond stoked to start.

Seoyeon loves her aunt and they get along so well, which is good considering she spent the past four years living with her in her apartment in Seoul. If asked she'll go on and on about how much fun and how cool her aunt Jieun is even if sometimes she'll forget to make food so its take out for dinner, but to Seoyeon that's just part of the fun!

They've been friends for a couple of years now and Seoyeon can happily say that she is her best friend, and loves the girl like the sister she's never had. Arin doesn't seem to have a problem with her friends loudness and they somehow balance each other out since Arin is usually quiet. They're always messaging each other and trying to meet up for yoga when the other isn't too busy.

She's not really close with Dohee, but she admires her hard work and thinks that she's just the prettiest thing since cotton candy (the pink fluffy perfection that it is). And if anyone tries to deny the beauty that is her unnie there will be a fight, because seriously look at that face and Seoyeon will not accept someone saying she isn't

Its a known fact that Yeowool doesn't like being woken up in the morning but does that stop Seoyeon? What's not to love her fun personality and sharp words are refreshing and she appreciates the honesty the girl has. Not to mention her jokes are to die for. Two thumbs up for this unnie!

To Seoyeon Minyoung is an adorable girl with a lot of skill that she openly admires as a fellow dancer. She doesn't mind asking her opinion if she feels one of her moves are off, and hopes that the other feels the same way. She loves having a friend who'll dance with her and not groan about it every step of the way. It's probably a good thing these two don't room together or it'd be a literal disaster.

Jisung is literally Seoyeon's baby, no seriously there's no if ands or buts about it. She's always there with some kind of treat to give him when she crosses his path, and tends to make others a little suspicious of their relationship until she calls him her baby brother. They have the same last name so it's totally legit.

If you ask Seoyeon she'll say they're the best of friends, even if he tries to hide from her most of the time. She doesn't want to be lonely and has dubbed him her best guy friend, since Arin is her gal pal, and he can't seem to shake her loose. At one point he started accepting her presence and gives her decafinated coffee as gifts after school or practice.

Trainee Life

Trainee life for Seoyeon was definitely a challenge, but she loved every minute of it. Sure there were rough parts and frustrating moments as she was behind when it came to vocals but she did her best to work her way up. However making friends was a different story and it wasn't because of lack of trying. She was way too loud and spoke out of turn that a lot of the older trainees spent more time scolding her and the younger ones didn't want to be in the same boat so they avoided her. The main thing that got her through it besides sheer determination was her aunt Jieun who was supportive every step of the way and her bestie Arin who kept reminding her how much it'll all be worth it in the end when she would be given the chance at debuting.

"FOF Seoyeon caught being rude to a fan?" True. She didnt mean to of course but when she was leaving a fansign event she didnt even see the poor girl. The pictures popped up all over the Internet and everyone went crazy about it calling Seoyeon names and leaving nasty comments where ever they could. She made a public apology to the fan because she did honestly feel horrible but it only seemed to fuel the fire as netizens called it a simple publicity stunt from SM.

And I seriously struggled with finding a faceclaim for the app no joke I've probably changed it four different times just when writing the app and thought about it for a week before actually starting it otl.
