⭐ace | growing up, grace was pretty good in sports. though she may not be the best, she gave it her all. on top of that, she had a knack of picking up on sports quickly (no thanks to mom). eventually, she earned the nickname 'ace' since an ace is a person who is fairly good in the task given. but you know that already ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) | her close friends

⭐standard gyeonggi dialect | unlike her mom, her dad wasn't to worry nor strict on letting grace learn korean. he felt like if his daughter wanted to learn it then he will teach it. there is no reason to force it, right? although, there was a part of him that wanted to teach his daughter korean so he could lowkey brag to his family and friends.however, grace never showed interest, making her father worry. by the grace of god, during her eight year, grace came to her father and asked him if he could teach her korean. obviously the old man was happy so he taught her. sadly, grace struggled as she was learning chinese and english. none the less, she tried her best and made sure she could get every last drop of korean she could to a certain extent. ironically, when she was scouted, she was forced to take korean classes as the staff could see that she was weak in korean. all in a day's work, right? | semi-fluent

grace always had this energy that seems to never die. she was always upbeat and full of energy when doing something. it gave off postive vibes to everyone around her. it gives her a good perspective on life along with giving her the good ability to convince others on her view. also, she is always the party or she finds a party (if that makes sense). it's kinda like a beagle, always energetic. sometimes, it does it get annoying but it's needed because we can't have negativity ruin lives, right? moving on, with all that energy she has, she makes sure (or tries to at least) that it's used for a good use. this is why she is hard working. she is dedicated and driven once she set her heart and mind to it. she believes that if she gives it her all that she will be able to suceed. in some ways, that view is probably one of the things why people see her as innocent. heck, she is innocence as the white snow. she doesn't get alot of inappropiate things or dirty slangs or anything that someone who has already dirtied the water would know. it's a good thing since it perserves her mind but it makes her look dumb and slow at the same time. no matter, she really doesn't care about that. she cares more for others, seeing that she feels like one of the things she can do well in live is care for others. it's nice because grace tends to watch others and care for them in their own special ways and needs. it's kind of like a mother who works as a doctor. they are keen and do things that help you physically and mentally. sadly, it seems like she forgets to care about her self. humble of her right? grace was never one to hog the spotlight or take credit for something she took little part in. she doesn't even really like it when all the attention is on her. she tends to make sure that everyone shines. the reason being is that grace thinks that she couldn't have achieved a lot of things with others. this is why she is so humble and can never take credit for anything. such a nice kiddo. actually, the kiddo is pretty obediant. it may be the way she was raised but hey, it's better than no obediance, right? grace was hammered down the importance of obediance, which resulted her into a good listener and doer (if this makes any sense at all). she will do what she is asked to do with the no complaints. that doesn't mean she doesn't have her moments of disobediance though.

to every good, there is a bad. grace has those bads along with those goods. she is emotionally sensitive, prone to getting her feelings hurt more quicker than an average being. she doesn't take critique and hate well since she feels like she isn't good enough. grace hates it because it makes her seem like a person who refuses to face reality. she willing to face it but it stings. rather then getting angery, grace tends to get upset over things that pertain to her in a negative view. when she criticized or has hate towards her, it's her natural response to get upset and hurt. she hates it and tries to do something about it but she can't. it's quite childish as critism is good for the soul. grace knows this but she can't help herself. she can come of a bit immature and foolish, seeing that she has't fully matured yet. she has a lot of things she needs to learn but for now, grace is in her own little kiddy world. someone needs to burst that bubble soon since grace doesn't know how to take a hint. she is pretty dense to things that pertain to her. it's really irritating as she is oblivious to it and always needs the 411 update. it's also ironic how she's aware of others but when it comes to her, she is a goner. just make sure when you burst the bubble you are cautious. grace is quick to anger and will not be afraid to have her anger bubble up. it's really ugly, being a lady and all. on top of that, it makes her seems like she has anger issues due to the fact she can get angered real quick. thankfully grace is aware of this and is trying to curb it but she can't help it sometimes. in general, it could be hormones, grace has a lot of emotional problems. however, there is nothing bad as depression. in some ways it is your stereotypical depression but not at the same time. you see, grace grew up in a twisted mind set home. she faced a lot of harshness in the world. growing up and creating her own thoughts, grace came to the conclusion that she was broken and not needed. you know the saying that people with the brightest smiles are the ones who are the saddest. that is grace right there. she doesn't know why she is like this but she just loses everything to hold on to and wants to drown in lonelyness. ironically, this is common in teenagers, trainees, idols, and well the most of the human population. last but not least is that grace is mawkish. there isn't much to say but that she get's sick pretty often and it has to do with her weak immune system.

 

Background;  
april 24, 1998 in chesire, north west england, manchester, england, united kingdom, a girl was born. she was a buddle of joy, seeing that her parents were happy to have been blessed with such a feat. however, would the girl think the same as she grew up in the twisted minds of the family? in some way she she did think the same way but in other ways, she thought different. growing up, she didn't think too much of life. she didn't know that the world was cruel and that she was just another chess piece to this endless game life plays. her childhood was okay, seeing that she made so life long friends along with enjoying the advantages of being a child. heck, she was smothered in love and care as she went on in life. but life started to change when she became of the age of learning and understanding. oh how she wished that she didn't have to grow up. as soon as grace hit the age of 5, her life changed big time. she no longer lived her nice life, but rather was forced to work for it. during the ages of 5 -8, her parents became strict and no longer the warm smiling parents grace knew. no, her parents became monsters who cared too much about image and pleasing themselves. they demanded alot of grace, signing her up for a lot of extra curricular and even put her in private academy along with letting her attend tutoring. grace wasn't sure on how to react with this new change in life. she assumed it was normal and tried her best to do well in what her parents asked her to do along with gave her to do. however, slowly did she realize that this was wrong. it was berating on her soul along with energy. was life really filled with competition? it didn't help that she wasn't living up to her parents expectation as that only brought on harsh words and slaps. slowly over time, the girl developed self-esteem issues along with depression growing. but she didn't know as no one told her it was okay to feel that way. she was told that she only felt like that because of guilt of not doing well. it didn't help that everything she did and enjoyed was supressed as quickly as they came up. grace slowly found herself drifiting away from the world because of this. also, all those extra curriculum where dropped and were replaced with everything academical. this crushed her due to the fact that grace danced from a young age and the extra currilucum that her parents cut out was dance. my life was grace's thoughts.

finally, grace reached 9. she thought her world would change and that she would break free from the horrid reality she lived in. yet, nothing seemed to change and she was still bound to this cruel world. during this time period, grace started to eat less and would cry easily. she couldn't enjoy life anymore, her parents had one. she was washed away in pleasing her parents and doing well. it didn't matter who got in the way, as long as she did well, that kept her parents at bay. poot thing, no one knew she suffered so much. that she was hurting so much because the girl would put up a front and give a smile that one would believe was oh-so natural. however, her older brother could see that his little sister wasn't his little sister. on the night she turned 10, he confronted her. he told her that the way she was holding herself would one day break and that she would lose herself. he told her that he was there for her and that it was okay to feel the things she felt. it was okay to cry and to release everything she held in. that night, grace broke down and cried the hardest she would ever cry. ever since that night, grace decided to reaproach life in a different light. around the age of 11-13, grace and her brother became closer. during that time, they bonded and her brother showed her his escape key from everything : music. because of him, grace learned music along with the sensations it brought to her body. the sensations that felt so familar. it was dance, grace had began dancing again. also, grace realized that she shouldn't try to keep everything in. thanks to her brother, grace started to lighten up but it was a shame he didn't anything quicker as grace's mind and soul have been tainted with bitterness and remorse. oh well, at least grace got a chance to revive herself in some way because it's better to be alive than dead in a world of pain. the reason being is that pain is outiside but beauty is inside

 

Likes; 
⭐okay ladies, let's get in formation : grace alway is dancing no matter what she doing. sometimes it's obvious while it may be lowkey moves she does. no matter what, dance is in her blood. that's why you will see her watching dance videos on youtube. she is eager to try and learn new moves along with creating her own moves
⭐yum yum : she doesn't like bitter foods but she likes sweets. having a sweet tooth, grace is a er for anything with sugar. it's pretty bad since she doesn't know when to stop herself. that is probably why everyone is has to hide sweets from her. i find this funny because grace is honey senpai and her members along with company is mori senpai when it came to honey's cavity. ⭐i don't know :  aware that she doesn't have the best vocals, she tends to have the main vocalist of the group sing to her along with helping her develop her own skills. in other words, grace is a er for main vocalists in idol groups.
⭐i can show you the world : grace barely traveled, which caused the typical yearning of wanting to travel. she honestly doesn't have a specific place she wants to go to but where ever it is, she will enjoy it with her hearts content.
⭐feel the rain on your skin : the feeling of nature is a wonderful feeling. the thing this, manchester is quite a crowded city so noise pollution along with trash pollution fills the air. she hates the smell and feeling as it makes her feel sickly and icky inside. the fresh air of healthy nature is what makes her feel relieved
⭐people keep asking me what you like the hip hip sh*t : music has many genres to it, in which grace tries to indulge herself in. however, hip hop has this certain appeal to her that she can't explain. maybe it's because the beat and lyrics along with the rythym flowing sounds like bliss to her ears. by the way, this isn't the only type of genre of music she likes as there are more but this is her favourite one.
⭐this is a competition : she knows it's not good for her and that most of it is scripted but grace can't help herself enjoying reality shows. from american to british to korean and to chinese, she enjoys seeing the struggles of others, not because she is sadistic but it comforts her knowing that she isn't the only who is struggling.
⭐in summer :  just like the feeling of nature, summer is one of her favourite seasons of all times. yes, it is hot but the memories made in them are what makes it the best. let's not forget the breezes that flow ever so gently along with the smell of the fresh grass and rain...oops, i guess i got carried away ^^'
⭐goal : as stated in her nicknames, grace is pretty good in sports. the reason being is that she and her whole family are sport fanatics. just like music, sport is a universal thing as they have a common language between them : to win. it doesn't help that her family has particapted in some sort of sports growing up XD
⭐it's okay, i'm here now : a lot of idols state that they would have done something else if they weren't idols. grace is one of them since she wanted to be a veterinarian. she loves animals, seeing that they need help and love to as they have gave them love and help

 

Dislike;  
⭐she is herself and i am myself : if there is anything in this world that grace dislikes, it is being compared in a negative light. heck, it doesn't matter if she is being compared in a positive light. the reason is, she is her own person and no one else. there is no need to compare as no one is the same but are their own unique person
⭐nobody's perfect : we all know that no one is perfect yet grace still gets upset when she makes mistakes. she will beat herself over it or cry tears of anger because she made a blunder. even though she knows that mistakes are a natural constant, she still dislikes making them. this could be a result of the way her parents raised her too.....
⭐don't let me go : the looks and thoughts of being high up in the air scares her. she really dislikes it as the feeling of seeing too much space between her and the solid ground scares her. ironically, she has flown on planes and rollercoasters, which she has either closed her eyes and held in her breath or just slept through out the whole thing or never looked down.
⭐what you know about me : grace knows that she isn't perfect as she feels out of the whole human race, she is the most flawed. even so, do not make a comment about her weight. she is very sensitive on topic of her being 'heavy' for her age. she is perfectly aware of that and is trying to lose weight but most of it is muscle and baby fat that seems to stick
⭐don't wake me up : everyone knows grace as a sweet and kind child. however they never tried waking her up. just like jungmin of ss501, grace is a hardcore sleeper. she is hard to wake up as she throws fits, throws things, yells, pull hair, and etc. just remember that the key to waking her up is having ice cream and saying 'grace, i have ice cream!'
⭐paranormal activities : grace alway is dancing no matter what she doing. sometimes it's obvious while it may be lowkey moves she does. no matter what, dance is in her blood. that's why you will see her watching dance videos on youtube. she is eager to try and learn new
⭐my happy little pill : one of the two things in life that trumps all her dislikes are pills. the pills she takes are to help her immune system grow stronger as she can get sick pretty easily. sadly, she doesn't like taking them due to the fact she has a hard time swallowing them.

⭐i got it the first time :  we have those moments when someone decided to get smart and talks to you in a dumb tone. it irks grace a lot, disliking the tone and voice along with posture they use. it seems degrading along with condescending
⭐can you see me : haunted houses or anything with horror is a big no-no for this baby. she will scream and cry while trying to run for her life. so if you think making her suffer is fun, think again as many end up feeling guilty

 

Hobbies; 
⭐hit the quan : she knows she isn't the best dancer or singer so that is why you will see her in the practice room. yes, she is the typical 'i train non stop' but she doesn't do it to get attetion or for some other reason. she does it because she is scared that she is way behin compared to other trainees
⭐today i don't feel like doing anything : don't be surprised when you see here watching disney movies along with korean dramas. she is like a typical teenager but with weird tastes
⭐i just wanna celebrate : grace is still a child, hence why she acts childish. she likes to pull pranks (within reasons and limits). sometimes, they backfire on her in which the jokes are on here ⭐we are family :  hanging out with her members became a hobby. honestly, she doesn't mind since they are going to be with each other for a while.
⭐yes ma'm : being one of the younger members mean that she is the older members personal slaves. she is always trying to makes sure they are happy and do things they ask her to do. don't worry as grace is also part of the evil maknae group >:)

⭐clean clean clean, scrub scrub scrub : don't mistake her cleanliness as ocd. grace has mysophobia; she is constantly taking showers, replacing items that she deems dirty, and etc. thanfully it's pretty controlled as she isn't doing anything to harmful to her health but you never know....
⭐velvety skin : blessed with her mom's genes, grace is free from the curse of pubic hair. not only that, she barely has any body hair. although, the hair on her head says otherwise...

⭐that's not healthy : when grace get's really stressed, she tends to not eat as much. this is something that company encourages as they want her to lose weight yet it doesn't do anything for her

How did you meet? 
[pre debut]. it was a meer coicendence. grace was lost and couldn't find her way back to the dorms. she kept wandering around until she ran into him. with the very limited korean she knew at the time (she was still new as a trainee under big hit), she asked for directions. he helped her out and was about to go back to his dorms  but something wasn't right. he decided to friend the girl and help that girl as he could clearly see that she wasn't good in korean. they exchanged phone numbers with that, bam! their close friendship bloomed.
