— Haneul is a guy who works hard to get his goal, like if he wasn’t to practice to late then he does it even though the teachers warn him that he can be kicked out because the company have strict rules. He is also seen with a smile on and helps newer trainees with getting into the training system, and would always be the nice guy towards them, he even got the nickname "the boy next door".

He is also joking around a lot, making his close friends smile as he makes weird faces, stupid jokes and body gags when someone is down, even though he also can be really childish like trying to act like a 5 year old little boy doing agyeo like the ghost dream agyeo or his own weird agyeo(think of him as the female sunny just a lot worse) As he has been in the group from start is he very laid back with them even exposing the weird he makes on his body or make the others eat the food he makes(when they goes on his nerves) which made him famous, by making the others scared of the things he cook, but when he actually wants to then he can make some good foods like lasagna or bibimbap.

If there is someone whose fighting, then he will try to be as neutral as possible and hear both sides out unless he is in the fight too because she wouldn't mind to be crazy and hit the guys. because he wouldn’t mind actually, but to be honest its very rare that he will become a crazy guy that freaks out... Unless you actually get on his nerves.

He will also be very blunt like if he doesn’t like something, then he won’t give it the disgusting sugar coat that other guys give, if he don’t like something then he will say it directly also in practice when there is mistakes or if he dislikes the dance routine... if someone break a thing in the dorm will he actually repair it again with glue or other things like pulling a handle of the door... It’s mostly his fault that something breaks because it’s in the morning and he is always tired so he doesn’t watch his steps, so he knocks things down.

Haneul was born in Tokyo in a korean family, his parents being Korean. He grew up in Tokyo, being bullied in the kindergarten for being Korean, another echnity, the reason for that was that the kids couldn’t understand the way of being a different and their parents also felt it was okay to talk bad about the family. He learned Korean and Japanese to talk with his grandparents and understand the lessons he got in school in the 2 countries, and the 2 couples spoiled him a lot by giving him toys yet he gave it to other families that needed the toys more than he did, let’s just say his mother told him that by doing good deeds made the world a much better place. In 2003 when he was 4 was he starting to standard dance and a year later he started at hiphop dance, he still dances both dance arts and in 2005 was he starting to sing, making him drop dance and focus on singing.

In 2005 when he started in an international primary school was his parents moving to Akihabara where he saw a lot of girls walk towards a theater with a lot of boys and men following them with cameras and he wondered what they were where he later found out that they were singers, and in 2008 was he hearing about the kpop group girl’s generation from some classmates where he slowly became a fan, having it much easier than his classmates because he could understand the language as he have spoken it just as must as Japanese.

One day in May 2015, was he in a heated argument about becoming a professional singer with his parents. It was even worse for him when his grandparents on his father’s site stood up for their son and his wife, while his grandparents on his mother’s site were on his side, so he ended up flying to Korea to stay with his grandparents, on his mother’s site who supported him even though they told him that he needed to study harder than he ever had done for him to stay at them because they didn’t want someone who was on their lazy side. Exactly one and a half year later after he participated in a national wide known song competition and made it to the final with his choices; DB5K’s most iconic songs Mirotic, Bolero along with 2am’s you like me, but he lost to 2 other contestants and became 3rd place and he could even hear his father’s voice in his head telling him to give up, but that’s when a representative from Bighit came and asked if he would like to continue singing, under the company and at first he didn’t know because to be honest he hadn’t really heard of Bighit before but that’s when the representative said they housed BTS that he agreed, not telling his grandparents about the person before he had been at the entertainment and get all the information he needed and actually also signed the trainee contract that got laid in front of him and he signed it before he went home and told his grandparent.

They weren’t sure of it but as they saw how happy and excited and let him do it even though they disliked the idea. After a few months, he was chosen for Bighits new boy group, BTSs brother group as the fastest trainee in Bighits history.
