How to keep motivated? (Chaptered story)

Greetings to everyone!

So, lately, I've been gaining ideas to be turned out into a chaptered story. However, the hardest part is that I've never finished writing it. Even though I have already known how the story is going to end, still, I found it difficult for me to complete the entire story. I have like lots of drafted stories in my computer, all of them are chaptered ones. I guess it was my fault as well that I easily got bored with what I wrote. But every time I browse through the stories section, I envy the authors who could write their chaptered story, be it short or long, until its very end. And here I am, filling up the storage bar my computer has with my incomplete stories. 

I would like to know what keeps you guys writing the story until its end? How did you get motivated to continue it? What did you guys do when you found yourself slowly getting uninterested with your story? If you guys could give me some advice, two cents, or some words of encouragement, that would be very nice and much appreciated. Thank you and hope you have a nice day!

Reading your problem is actually a wake-up call for myself. This is my second account here in AFF for the purpose of upvoting. Looking back at my first account with so many unfinished stories, i feel ashamed of myself, seriously. And to make myself feel even worse is that there's still someone out there subscribing the story when I've basically not updating it since last March. I, very much like you know ho the story ends but every time I try to write it out, everything is not in perfect status. I'll be typing and backspacing the whole day and in the end, i gave up. I don't think updating a low standard chapter to my readers. Now, i'm more on writing one-shot. I know that it's hard for me to write long chapters story and i decided that if i want to write one, then i must finish it fast before everything disappeared from my mind. i forced myself to finish the earliest in two days or latest in five days. I guess this way suit me better. Still, I'm still feeling sorry for all my loyal subscribers who are waiting patiently for me.

Omg I feel you so much! ;; I've been working on this _ONESHOT_ for literally months, I have a clear vision of the full plot but can't get myself writing it to the end. I'm so freaking slow and my imagination doesn't suit my general motivation. I'm seriously so freaking frustrated right now! D'': Anyways, good luck with your story and I genuinely hope you'll get to write it <3
